The service runs smoothly when setup properly. Informatica was the only solution to offer every feature our company needed. Pros The number of other ERP platforms that can be integrated with Informatica Intelligent Cloud make it the best option for a company like ours. We use several different ERP systems and bringing all that data into one central location is make easier with Informatica. Being able to map different data sets is one of my favorite features. Cons A little harder to setup than other products but worth the effort. A little on the expensive side, Informatica costs a little more than other solutions but offers many features that aren't offered by competing products. It is totally paid application, you need to invest into it in order to take benefits from this application. 2. Little bit costly as compared to other tools. 3. It is an incredibly powerful data tool. I use it pull data out of various databases, load data into various databases via various data sources (API, files, etc.), and transform data source files. It can be used for a myriad of other purposes. The ability to schedule jobs is exceptionally helpful and is a time saver. The company is very good about notifying about service disruptions (which are very rare). Cons Learning the peculiarities of Informatica can be challenging. It requires to knowing what to search for online. There are some decent resources provided by Informatica but they could be improved. Front-line customer service can be somewhat lacking.
