With MicroSIP you can reach them while they are useing their computers far away from desk. Pros When we are far away from our desk for meeting or something, we can easily see that who is calling us. So we can pick up the phone as soon as we see the calling. This help us to be reachable and answer the questions easily. I can talk to customers with quality. Cons As it is a solution for Windows, on Linux I had to download an emulator to work together, but the call quality continues. Its free to use so it is a big plus. Excellent documentation online to answer various questions about this software. Cons Very hard to setup and customer support is hard to reach. Since we were converting to VoIP phones, that seemed like a reasonable idea. Cons Actually using it was the WORST. Calls wouldn't come through--my phone simply wouldn't ring. Or I'd call someone and they couldn't hear me. In essence, my "desk phone" became so extremely unreliable that I would go into other people's offices to make phone calls and I let the rest of my team know they couldn't reach my by phone. Pros Runs perfectly on Linux under Wine Excellent audio quality Full-featured Simple, intuitive, clean interface Imports and exports contacts in CSV format Missed calls are clearly indicated by the system-tray icon state and recorded in the log Free! Esta opção tem facilitado muito a minha vida. Super recomendo. Pros Gostei mais do redirecionamento das ligações caso esta deixa de ser atendida. Achei muito satisfatório. Cons apesar de frequentes, as atualizações não refletem nenhuma mudança visual no produto, o que acaba transmitindo um ar de aplicativo mais antigo, porém ao utilizar entendemos que é uma ferramenta completa e muito bem afinada. Cons Interface relativamente ultrapassada, apesar de simples e de relativamente fácil usabilidade, por muitas vezes o MICROSIP não completa as chamadas, seja por uma falha na ferramenta ou por não reconhecer o número, a ferramenta também não avisa quando a chamada cai na caixa de recados/mensagens ou quando não é completada, um aviso ou mensagem seria útil ao usuário.
