Pros

  • We have had so many compliments on the ease of use of this new process from our attendees, they love it.

  • They were able to integrate with our registration system and the entire process was very seamless and easy to implement. Our conference attendees raved about how great their check-in process was.

  • Overall, this was a great value. The customer support was fantastic and the system was very easy to use.

  • It is inexpensive and simple to use, especially if you create your own badges. The on-site badge printing was outstanding, and the support for this product is excellent.

Cons

  • The inability to customize reminder emails to guests to include the address and other details was a big bummer.

  • This plays havoc on the ability to know actual registration numbers verse mistakes.

  • Could have used a few extra blank name tags as an emergency back up, just in case more people than expected registered at the event.

  • Also the payment awipes duid not perform well, which caused a lot of people to switch iPad and reenter all their info.

"Effortless Registration and Check-ins with Expo Pass"

Overall: Expo Pass is a powerful event management platform that makes it easy for event organizers to streamline registration, check-ins, and the engagement of their attendees. As an attendee, using Expo Pass has been a smooth and efficient experience. Expo Pass to me is a reliable, efficient, and easy-to-use platform that greatly improves the event experiences for both organizers and attendees. It has a very user-friendly design and helpful mobile app standout, though there’s room for improvement as for customization for organizers. I’d highly recommend Expo Pass for anyone attending or organizing mid-to-large scale events!

Pros: The things I liked the most about the program would be the user-friendly interface that it has. Both the app and website are very straightforward, making it easy to navigate through the event's details and agenda. I never had any trouble finding any information about sessions or exhibitors. Also, it was very easy to register. Signing up for events through Expo Pass is quick and simple. I love how it offers the option to save your registration info for future events, because it saves me time on other registrations. The Expo Pass mobile app was incredibly useful during the event that I had. It kept track of my schedule, and I could easily access all of the event updates, exhibitor info, and session locations. The notifications were very on point and helpful. The last thing that i really enjoyed about the program was how efficient the check-in process was. I was able to scan my QR code to check into my sessions without any delay what do ever. Which helped reduce the typical wait times you'd see at events, in turn making for a smooth start to my day.

Cons: The two cons i did see with the program would be the limited customization for event organizers. While Expo Pass is great for attendees, the event organizers might find some options to customize ticketing and registration forms for example are somewhat lacking compared to other platforms from what I noticed. Also, during some events, I would experience a few issues with exhibitor updates and schedule syncing. Although, it happened very briefly and on only a rare occasion I figured i woukd say it is possible to one to experience this issues from time to time. Bare in mind though it didn't drastically affect my personal experience.

"Absolute Waste"

Overall: Junk. Waste of time. Will never use again.

Pros: Nothing. It did not do a single thing. Useless.

Cons: Logged me out and made me select a new password every time. It took forever. Utter waste.

"Affordable, User-Friendly, and Reliable Event Management Solution"

Overall: My overall experience with Expo Pass has been great. From setup to event execution, the platform made every step easy, and the customer support team was responsive and helpful. Expo Pass is a fantastic solution for anyone looking to simplify event management on a budget!

Pros: What I liked most about Expo Pass was its affordability and ease of use. The platform is intuitive, making it easy to set up and manage events without a steep learning curve. The registration and attendee tracking features are well-designed, saving us time and effort.

Cons: An area for improvement would be the customization options for promo codes. Additionally, one drawback we encountered was with the magic link feature, which isn't always compatible for certain industries, like government agencies, due to specific security protocols. This limitation is more specific to our use case, though, and may not impact other industries as much.

"Absolutely recommend"

"Make events great"

Overall: It used to be so difficult to set up for registration since I was never sure if it would connect properly, if things would print, how badges would appear, etc., but with ExpoPass, everything is ready for me when it comes! I just need to connect everything in and unpack!

Pros: Registration process is very neat, it has mobile application as well with very friendly UI

Cons: we had to get some training to learn this

"Seamless and Easy"

Overall: Very seamless and easy in all aspects of the product.

"Expo pass is a good option."

Overall: It was good and overall I m happy with expo pass and recommend to my friends.

"User experience "

Overall: Been using it for sometime now and happy so far.

"Best Check-in System ever"

Overall: Expo Pass has made our convention more professional, efficient, and advanced. We have used their check-in program and system for the past three years now and it has greatly increased the attendee experience and elevated our entire event. Their team (especially [sensitive content hidden] who is amazing) is professional, knowledgeable, and quick to assist in the case of any difficulties. The entire system is user-friendly. We are so grateful to work with Expo Pass and I could not recommend them enough!

Pros: I love the ease of use of Expo Pass and the enhancements it brings to our show. It is a no brainer expense for my client.

Cons: The only thing we have ever had issues with was there being a small glitch onsite but the support team on call was so efficient and got us back up and running in no time!

Alternatives Considered: Cvent Event Management
Reasons for Choosing Expo Pass: They were more cost effective and fit our needs much better.

"Get the best value for your money"

Overall: Expo Pass is super responsive within 24 hours, and they will answer any question you have.

Pros: I like how user-friendly it is. There's so much customizability that can be done with registration and the mobile app!

Cons: You can't manage the hosted registration site without the help of Expo Pass Support, and perhaps more mobile features could be added to benefit sponsors like the ability to add a sponsor ad across the top/bottom of the mobile app.

"Great experience "

"Expo Pass was a life saver"

Overall: Great. Highly recommend. It was easy to use.

Pros: Easy to setup, easy to deploy, easy to manage, and helped us know who was coming to our event, what sessions they were attending, and collect great demographics data from our customers.

Cons: Could have used a few extra blank name tags as an emergency back up, just in case more people than expected registered at the event. We had to purchase enough extra to be sure we did not run out, but ended up with the extras left over, a sunk cost.

Reasons for Choosing Expo Pass: ExpoPass provided a one-off event option. I am not locked into a reoccurring annual subscriptions. But what is best, they provided all the iPads and printer stations for event registration and badge printing at the event.

"Fast and efficient"

Overall: I utilize ExpoPass for managing our fall conferences, and it has significantly streamlined my workflow from start to finish. The platform simplifies setting up the conference app, uploading, attendee information, scheduling sessions, and incorporating sponsor details. The check-in process has become remarkably efficient, and the badge scanning feature ensures seamless tracking, allowing me to accurately provide CE credits to eligible participants.

Pros: Fast and efficient. Love check in process and the badge scanning.

Cons: Expo Pass has an email for support, however, if you are in the thick of the conference, emails back and forth can be a pain. After speaking with my Expo Pass rep, she explained next time, to ask if they can call me via zoom to resolve any issues faster.

"Event Planners holy grail "

Overall: As an event director for conferences one of the biggest struggles is registration. Expo pass makes that a breeze!

Pros: No long weight lines for check in. Clear explanation of the software when setting it up and available to answer any questions!

Cons: I wish there were more design and sizing aspects to the badges.

"Expo Pass is amazing"

Overall: Exceptional. I have been using for many years and have never had an issue with Expo Pass.

Pros: Ease of use and understanding of how it works and how to build the event. The many features you can use for an event. The tutorials they have in place for any question you may have when developing your event.

Cons: There really isnt anything I am dissatisfied with.

"EP Review 2023"

Overall: So far, so good. Looking forward to continuing to become more familiar and using this product for future events.

Pros: Registration features are the most important for my organization. The product seems fairly easy to use and the fact that this is year number two for us utilizing the platform says its a hit amongst my department.

Cons: I believe the prompt and friendly customer assistance minimizes any concern for the product not being easy to navigate. There are constant upgrades made as we have noticed additions to the software since last using it.

"Expo was easy to use abd the staff were amazing!"

Overall: Excellent customer support.

Pros: Ease of use and the ability to process payments directly from the iPad while registering.

Cons: The cost is very high for a small non profit like NHA. Also the payment awipes duid not perform well, which caused a lot of people to switch iPad and reenter all their info.

"Great Online Registration System"

Overall: Over all our experience has been great espeically the customer service.

Pros: Our members are not tech savy so the ease of you using this system is what we like most.

Cons: We host small programs of 50 and not being able to customize how many badges are pre-printed is very wastefull. Also, there needs to be a better way of seeing who checked in and who did not.

Reasons for Choosing Expo Pass: The price point matched our budget.

"Great product for event badging"

Overall: From start to finish, the Expo Pass team made the process a breeze. This was our first time using the product, but it won't be the last

Pros: The Expo Pass system, from the website to the hardware, was extremely user-friendly

Cons: A slightly higher price point than some of the other vendors quoted, but the customer service was unmatched.

"Great Product!"

Overall: From sales to implementation and IT to close-out, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to using ExpoPass in the future.

Pros: We had the best team helping us through the ExpoPass process. Everything was a 10/10 with customer service, responsiveness, sales, equipment, and implementation.

Cons: We did encounter an issue with importing data. We aren't sure what the glitch was, but it, unfortunately made importing a little tricky.

Reasons for Choosing Expo Pass: ExpoPass provided us with equipment rental and registration software.
Reasons for Switching to Expo Pass: They did not provide the option for software and equipment rental.

"First time In-Person Event"

Overall: Expo Pass replaced our badge printing solution, our lead retrieval solution, and our registration solution. So all in all it was worth it. We did have to work through using an additional platform to accomplish the live agenda issue.

Pros: The setup was fairly easy for our in-person event. The registration was very smooth on-site and the assistance received was top-notch.

Cons: There is no interactive agenda that can be embedded in our site (however, the registration form can be). I think the back end could be more intuitive, i.e. the custom registration questions could not be placed where we needed them, and we had to make most fields custom for the registration form flow to make sense (and they had to build it for us after multiple unsuccessful attempts). I'd like to see better reporting, i.e., they had to send me a custom report to see who actually printed a badge and showed up on-site - this was not self-service.

"Ease of use is unmatched!"
