DeskTime has been really useful regardless of working from the office or remotely. It really improved our time management skills as with DeskTime's help it's very simple to check and evaluate where and how your time is being spent throughout the working day. Pros For me, It is crucial that the software that's being used by so many of our coworkers remain user-friendly and easily accessible for everyone. DeskTime absolutely delivers in that regard! Cons I'd say reports and reporting features could have been handled a bit better. I've found myself somewhat limited a couple of times when I was trying to generate some advanced reports but, that being said, you'll find no issue if you're not looking for something very complicated. It does nearly all the things I enjoy with tracking my billed time, without me having to do much (except for reassigning what many other companies consider 'un-productive' sites, since I work in social media and Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, among others, are essential to my work day). Pros DeskTime is incredibly easy to use, with very little fanfare. It's simple to assign apps on their productivity and non-productive ones. I love especially that DeskTime even shows the time on what project I'm working on, and not just the name of the software. Cons I haven't used DeskTime for long, but I can't see anywhere I could write a note on the idle time I've had during my work day to jot down meetings, on-location assignments photo-/film-shoots etc. Switched from [Timing](https://www.capterra.com/p/148873/Timing/) I've Used Timing for several years on my iOS Device, but that app isn't available for Windows machines, and I felt I needed something to which track my billed time. It not only helps in tracking time but also helps me in attendance management and employee management. Overall it is a great experience using DT. Pros With online time tracking, Desktime not only tracks the time of work but also shows which site or what the employee is using. Helps in tracking the tasks and their progress. Especially helpful for teams that are working in different time zones. Cons The software is not very user-friendly, and many users find it difficult to use. But only in cases where due to external reasons, the payment fails that the product becomes annoying. But utility wise its good value for money. Pros It's really easy to use. Just installing and it's there active. There are ample settings to set the tracking features as per the business use case. Cons If the billing fails in any case, instead of sending the notification to the administrator the software becomes annoying to all the users giving a ping every few mins, which is annoying to the limit of completely unsubscribing from the product. Pros I love the insights into how my time is distributed across applications and websites. I definitely use it passively, but occasionally I check in to see how my time breaks down. I just let it run in the background and check the dashboards for fun. Once upon a time, I pitched it to the leadership at an organization where I worked, but it was early in the product's maturity so that didn't pan out. I'm a longtime fan and I'm pleased with how the feature set has evolved. Cons I believe the pricing structure is misaligned with customer segments. This is more relevant to corporations than to individuals. It's a nice to have for me, but I can live without it if I must pay. This would fall into the category of something that should be extended to workers for free, but at a cost to organizations with two or more users. Extend more features to single license accounts. Pros I like how easy it is to use the panel, and the multiple ways you have to install, hidden or not, that you can configure groups and what info you want or don't want to share, I like the reports and being able to see snapshots and blur them for privacy purposes.
