Pros Microsoft teams is the only software our team uses to communicate between team members across Oceania. It is simple and easy to use and great for organising meetings and keeping all related info together. Cons I don't like how there is an extra fee for the meeting summary to be given post meeting.Occasionally you can't record the meeting as well, I have found this between individual calls. To reiterate the above, the platform can feel a little cluttered at times, especially with a high volume of chats and channels, but overall, it helped improve collaboration, responsiveness, and remote teamwork. The communication features are essential for our team, it helps to keep us productive and collaborating effectively on projects. Cons I liked the functionality overall, but sometimes it felt like there were too many places for conversations and files to live. If we are in a Microsoft environment and want everything in one tool, Teams is best for the company. Compared with the cons, Pros have more weightage and are highly recommended when remote/hybrid work is part of the organization. Pros I use Teams on a daily basis in my work for messages, meetings, and calls. The connection is so clean, and sharing the screen is seamless. Strong for remote work and still connect with the team and suppliers. Recordings and break-out rooms are the best features for workshops. Cons Sometimes we can see a bit of lag in large meetings, and it consumes lot of RAM and suddenly loses network in a call. Additionally, another drawback is that Teams can feel resource-intensive, especially when multiple applications are open. Search functionality can also be inconsistent when trying to locate older conversations or files.
