Teams has been a great addition. We use it daily and without it, we would be on the phone to each other. This way you can still meet face to face and maintain that working relationship.

Pros

It's so easy and intuitive to use. I like the option to message, voice call or video call colleagues/clients. When working remotely, it allows you to work collaboratively with other members of the team ensuring productivity does not take a hit.

Cons

I do not like that you are forced to use Copilot AI. Other AI is better and I wish you could like in your preferred AI of choice.

Pros

Goodness gracious. I like that sometimes this software works for me. I like that often times my settings are still preset from the last time I have used the app.

Cons

My goodness-- There are not many things I like about Microsoft Teams. I do not feel that the video/audio quality are very good. I also feel that the software is very buggy/high maintenance. I much prefer to use an alternative method of communicating with my team, but often when I have to use this, it's for external calls and I don't have another choice.

Teams has become a core part of how we communicate day to day and for the most part it delivers. Meetings are reliable, channels help keep things organized, and it plays nicely with the other Microsoft tools we're already using. It's not perfect and there are definitely moments where it feels bloated, but the alternative of stitching together multiple separate tools sounds worse. Once people get comfortable with it, most of them don't want to go back.

Pros

Having calls, chat, file sharing, and meetings all in one place has genuinely cut down on the back-and-forth of trying to track down conversations across different apps. The integration with the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite is seamless. Being able to pull up a shared Word doc or Excel file mid-meeting without leaving Teams is something we use constantly. For a distributed team it's made staying connected a lot more manageable day to day.

Cons

The app can be a resource hog. I's not uncommon for it to slow down older machines, which is a real issue when you have staff on hardware that isn't exactly brand new. Notifications can also get noisy and the settings to manage them aren't the most straightforward to configure. And honestly the search function still isn't great. Trying to dig up an old message or file from a few months back feels like more of a gamble than it should be.

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Teams has been very positive. It’s become an essential communication and collaboration platform for both remote and hybrid work. The tight Microsoft 365 integration, meeting functionality, and team collaboration features make it highly effective for daily operations. While there are occasional performance and usability frustrations, Teams provides strong overall value and continues to improve with regular updates.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft Teams is how well it integrates with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Chat, meetings, file sharing, and collaboration are all centralized in one platform, which helps reduce context switching throughout the day. Teams meetings are reliable, and integration with Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive makes collaboration much more efficient in business environments.

Cons

What I like least about Microsoft Teams is that it can sometimes feel bloated and resource-heavy, especially on older systems. Notifications and channel management can also become overwhelming in larger organizations. Search functionality has improved over time, but finding older messages or files can still be inconsistent at times.

Overall, I like using Microsoft Teams. I do wish they were more compatible with Macbooks. I look forward to seeing how Microsoft will increase productivity.

Pros

I like how you can collaborate and communicate with many people at a time. You are able to create alot of different things within the Office, which offers a good value.

Cons

Its usability can be a little difficult when it comes to finding different documents that are shared with you. I found it a bit difficult to create folders and shortcuts to items that are frequently visited.

Pros

It does work for the most part and integrates well with other 365 products if you have the misfortune of working with them

Cons

Pretty much everything, it feels clunky and it's tricky to integrate it with other software. Document management is a pain.

I do not have any negative comments about Microsoft Teams! It helps my in my every day managerial life. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic! The ease of use is as simple and easy to use and understand your cellular device for first time users.

Pros

Microsoft Teams has made communicating with my teams and collaboration so much more productive especially when using the platforms to share screens for review.

Cons

Having many users in our organization has made it very imperative to double check names when sending out invitations as we at time can have the wrong individual being sent a Teams invite due to the same name. If there was a way to create individual folders this would solve this problem.

My overall experience has been great and couldn't see my day going as planned without it. Its the hub of my everyday productivity.

Pros

We use it every single day for many reasons and it is our hub to stay connected with all teams members across many states and locations. We schedule virtual meetings, communicate daily, use calendar for scheduling and more,

Cons

I use all features and took classes on how to maximize use so I am happy with what it provides. I don't have any cons about it at all.

Microsoft Teams is my company's main communication and collaboration tool that we use on a daily basis. I use it for scheduling and conducting my discovery calls and communicating with my team internally.

Pros

Microsoft Teams is a strong cross-collaboration tool that centralizes messaging communication, making phone calls, and scheduling video meetings into one platform. The platform works especially well for fully remote and hybrid teams or if you want to integrate Teams with other tools like Outlook or Copilot.

Cons

In my personal experience, meetings and call stability on Microsoft Teams can occasionally be inconsistent, and I’ve noticed dropped calls or connection issues more frequently compared to other video platforms like Zoom.
