Cons

I switched over from another product and had a short period of adjustment time. Overall, no major complaints.

### "Good web conferencing tool"

Mostly ok. I have high speed internet which helps the ease of use, however I have plenty of coworkers that aren't so lucky. The platform can feel unreliable at times, but I prefer it over other web conferencing apps like Zoom.

Pros

Simple enough layout, and the ease of using it with other M365 products

Cons

It can have a large demand on internet connections (desktop client).

Cons

Its appearance is outdated to me to an extent. There aren't as many bells and whistles to make it more current to suit a virtual environment.

Overall, I would recommend this to any company wanting to streamline the communication between coworkers. It makes things much quicker.

Pros

It makes chatting with your coworkers fun and enjoyable! I feel like Teams definitely keeps up with what is trending and implements them into the software. For me, personally, it makes company culture seem more positive and communicating much more streamlined.

Cons

To be honest, I cannot think of many cons for Teams. It has done everything I have wanted to and more.

Overall I have a good experience with Teams, we use it with a team of over 100, and it offers us the platform we need to communicate and collaborate well.

Pros

Generally speaking, Teams is a great collaborative platform, offering all tools and features you need in order to work with fellow colleagues better and more efficiently.

Cons

Although Teams has everything needed to be a great collaborative platform, the layout compared to competitors in the same market, lacks and is confusing. This lets Teams down where it could be a really incredible product all round.

### "Skype has it all!"

Skype helped me keep my business moving forward despite the logistical hurdles I was facing. It has pretty much everything I could ask for in a communication app and always performs as expected.

Pros

Skype stands out because it's a multi-service application with an affordable price. I can have a private or group video chat, send SMS, and even make and receive phone calls. I can manage almost all of my business communication in one place. I can use Skype on multiple devices (regardless of platform) and I still get a clean consistent user experience. I never worry about blurry video as long as my internet connection is good. If I have a great connection it's crystal clear. I like that profile photos are displayed large enough to be helpful in the contact and chat windows. I really enjoy using chat on Skype by the way. Status is helpful so I know who is available. If I call and the person doesn't answer I can leave a message. Skype requires a strong password which is great for security.

Cons

For use as a business phone, Skype falls short because I can't recieve text messages. I also felt disappointed in the video chat recording and storage category.

My Canadian buddy, \[sensitive content hidden\], thinks it's "meh" but I think it will get the job done. I know it was really inexpensive for the company to license, so why would we even consider any alternative? There really isn't competition in the pricepoint...

Pros

The developers if this App worked very hard. I wouldn't call them slackers. It's become stable and reliable and very functional. The integrations are getting better.

Cons

It helps out a lot for developers and IT workers, but it isn't a salesforce.

Management saw this as a way to save money and get parity in terms of features. At first it did not provide that, and there are still some integrations we can wish for, but at this point in time; it does the job. As a developer, I'm disturbed that Microsoft pretty much gives it away. I'm sure that will change when there are a lot less competitors of any scale.

Microsoft teams is one of the best platforms when it comes to team meetings, clear communication, clear video, easy to use.

Cons

Microsoft teams least thing sometimes callers get disconnected, but very rarely the video buffers at time not all the time.

The ability to chat and share items with team members quickly is fantastic!

Cons

My least favorite thing about Teams is that it sometimes takes long to startup and slows the PC down.

Using it daily requires some time to get used to, but once you master all the features, it becomes much more intuitive and effortless.

Pros

I love how user-friendly it is and the wide range of features it offers, making our meetings more efficient and productive.

Cons

I have a couple of concerns regarding privacy and security, as well as the increased PC memory usage compared to other applications. Ensuring that my data remains protected and that security vulnerabilities are minimized is a priority. Additionally, I want to make sure that the application runs efficiently without consuming excessive system resources.

Pros

I like that you get the prompts right away. Very cost affective, with no cost to each team member. Making this an easy way to communicate with out a lengthy email or picking up the phone.

Cons

At first this seemed a little confusing to use. I have used this with numerous companies and it always seems like a pain to get up and running.

Overall i enjoy using Microsoft teams, it is effective for the way in which i need to use it. It can be expanded for additional features and offers productivity gains. Some further integrations and usability would be a benefit.

Pros

The responsive nature of the software, configurable to ensure users can communicate with relevant people. Lots of available plug ins to add additional features and link in with other software

Cons

The search feature could be improved, quite often i know i have had a conversation with someone around a specific topic however when using the search it does not come up. Also when searching for recent conversations, trying to get to group chats or similar the history of chats isnt that long and sometimes i need to resort to searching all messages to find one from the group chat, to then get access to the group chat.

I have had a good experience overall. I am able to share information with my team in real-time (good and bad). It has met all my needs.

Pros

Teams has met my needs. I am able to have multiple conversations at the same time and add new people (with or without history of the chat). I prefer to use the app.

Cons

I dislike that I have had to spend a bit of time with the settings to make everything work how it should. I was trying to have a meeting and had to spend 5 minutes to figure out that my privacy settings were blocking me from my mic working.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft Teams is the way everything is integrated to work simultaneously. I love the aspect of being able to be on a video call but still being able to see the chats that come in from other chats that I’m apart of.

Cons

The main thing I dislike about Microsoft Teams is how sometimes the quality of the sound during calls or video calls can be a little up and down.

The video conferencing tool is the best feature. The calls are crisp, the video quality is strong, and the screen-share ability is the best aspect.

Cons

The storing of files within the files module is clunky, hard to follow at times, and takes a long time to upload files.

Pros

Very easy to use and find someone online. Can also drops files into chat for coworkers to review. Also able to video chat and call coworkers and create meetings.

Cons

Nothing not to like. Very good program. There is nothing wrong with this. It is a seamless program that has lots of good features.
