### "Teams for the Win!"

March 3, 2026

5.0

Teams has been amazing. I am able to toggle between chats, easily see my calendar, and make audio and video calls with ease. The quality of the video calls are amazing. Using Teams has made my job easier in so many ways.

Pros

Teams is very good for collaborating with internal and external people. I like that I am able to integrate it with my calendar. The chat feature makes it easy to communicate with team members. I also like that it shows us the busy status my teammates; this feature makes it easy to know when to take messages vs. calling the person.

Cons

I haven't had any issues with Teams. All of the features are easy to use, and I like how it works with my Outlook calendar.

### "Excellent software! So easy to use and helps keeps me and my work organised."

May 7, 2026

5.0

Excellent. Microsoft Teams keeps me organised and I am able to show myself as 'busy' or 'do not disturb' if I have a heavy workload which informs people that I may not be able to respond to messages.

Pros

I use Teams as part of my every day work life and it makes everything so much easier! I work remotely from home so being able to keep track of online meetings and communicating with other members of the organisation all over the country is really important. We hold regular team meetings and have group shared folders for project work and management which is easy to upload and control access. I am able to customize my file access and calendar access and view my team members schedule. I find the automated meeting suggestion really useful when some members have a busy diary and will show me when there is a space where everyone is next available at the same time.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I do not like or have encountered any problems when using Teams. I certainly have not had any recent issues.

### "The value of Teams"

April 12, 2026

5.0

Overall I have had an outstanding experience with teams. The ability to connect instantly with coworkers as a teams and individual level make it a no brainer for me to continue to pay for the service. No more missed meetings, or late arrivals when everyone is updated prior to with the built in calendar feature. 10 out of 10

Pros

The ability to instantly communicate between the whole team, or even just an individual team member. Very easy to use, and customize chats instantly. Collaborating with the teams and managing projects collectively is extremely convenient. Value outweighs the cost. Support on the customer level is second to none.

Cons

The biggest draw back I could see with teams was due to the size of my company originally. As my team grew it was able to be utilized the way it was intended.

### "A basic and well-rounded option for professional communication and management "

April 1, 2026

5.0

It has become the gold standard for communicating with my team professionally and keeping our projects and ideas organized. I even use it to record a podcast with a coworker weekly.

Pros

Your chats are well organized in relation to everything how everything else is laid out in the platform and you never lose track of a specific chat. There is also a "cork board" scheduler to make collaborating easier. There are also some fun customization options for your meetings like backgrounds.Screen sharing and recordings is very easy.

Cons

There can be some slowdown during large video team meetings, especially if you are running Chrome or Worse at the same time. It can be a little confusing going from one Teams window or tab to another when a video chat is underway.

### "All‑in‑One Collaboration That Streamlines Teamwork"

May 18, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams is that it’s a powerful, all‑in‑one collaboration hub that genuinely improves team communication and productivity — but it can feel heavy and occasionally overwhelming depending on how your organization uses it. Teams shines when you’re working across chat, meetings, and shared documents because everything stays connected and easy to find. Real‑time collaboration on files, quick video calls, and organized channels make teamwork feel smoother and more structured. At the same time, the platform’s depth means there’s a learning curve, and performance can lag on older devices or in large organizations with complex setups. Still, once a team settles into a good workflow, Teams becomes a reliable, centralized space that keeps everyone aligned and reduces the need to juggle multiple apps.

Pros

The biggest thing to like about Microsoft Teams is how it brings your entire workflow into one organized, easy‑to‑navigate space. Teams combines chat, video meetings, file sharing, and app integrations so you don’t have to bounce between separate tools all day. Its tight connection with Microsoft 365 makes collaboration feel natural — documents open instantly, multiple people can edit at once, and everything stays synced across Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Meetings are reliable and feature‑rich, with solid recording, captions, and breakout rooms. Teams also stands out for its strong security posture and the ability to customize channels with apps, bots, and automated workflows. Altogether, it creates a centralized, secure, and highly collaborative environment that boosts productivity and keeps teams aligned.

Cons

The biggest drawback of Microsoft Teams is that it can feel heavy and occasionally overwhelming, especially for new or non‑technical users. The interface packs in so many features—channels, chats, tabs, apps, meetings—that it sometimes becomes cluttered and hard to navigate. Performance can also dip when running on older devices, with slow load times or lag during calls. Notifications are another common frustration: they can be inconsistent, easy to miss, or overly noisy depending on how your organization configures them. Teams also relies heavily on the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, which means file management can feel confusing if you’re not already comfortable with SharePoint or OneDrive. Finally, customization is powerful but not always intuitive, and managing permissions or channel structures can become complicated for larger teams.

### "A Reliable Tool for Team Communication"

March 14, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been very positive. It makes communication, meetings, and file sharing easy, helping our team stay connected, organized, and productive throughout the day.

Pros

I like how Microsoft Teams keeps communication and collaboration in one place. Chat, meetings, and file sharing are easy to manage, which helps our team stay connected and work more efficiently.

Cons

Sometimes the interface can feel a bit cluttered, especially with many chats and channels active, and notifications can get overwhelming if not managed carefully.

### "Molto utile ma troppo pesante"

May 15, 2026

4.0

Pros

### "Powerful Collaboration Tool That Keeps Teams Connected"

May 21, 2026

5.0

Overall, Microsoft Teams is a robust and highly effective collaboration platform that significantly improves communication, productivity, and teamwork. I recommend it to organizations of any size looking for an all-in-one communication and collaboration solution.

Pros

Microsoft Teams has become an essential part of our daily workflow. It combines chat, video meetings, file sharing, and collaboration tools into one platform, making it easy to stay connected whether your team is in the office or working remotely. One of the features I appreciate most is how seamlessly Teams integrates with Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Scheduling meetings, sharing documents, and collaborating in real time is incredibly efficient. The chat feature is intuitive, and organizing conversations by channels helps keep projects and communications well structured. The video conferencing functionality is reliable and includes useful features such as screen sharing, meeting recordings, live captions, and background effects. Teams also makes it easy to communicate with internal employees and external partners.

Cons

Integrating data from File Explorer to MS Teams based files was a significant undertaking and very labor instensive to recreate folders that matched the same format from File Explorer. Additionally, another drawback is that Teams can feel resource-intensive, especially when multiple applications are open. Search functionality can also be inconsistent when trying to locate older conversations or files.

### "Solid email and calendar combo, a bit heavy and cluttered"

April 10, 2026

5.0

Overall it makes day to day work easier because everything is in one place at work. We run standups, client calls and quick huddles without jumping between tools. There are annoyances performance, noisy notifications and mobile quirks but nothing fatal. When it works it speeds up collaboration and reduces email clutter, which I like a lot. I still rely on a few other tools for heavy project tracking, but Teams covers most needs. Would recommend for teams that want a single hub, just expect some setup and learning.

Pros

I use Teams at work every day and it keeps chats, calls and meetings in one place. Channels make it easy to keep project conversations together so I dont lose context. Video calls are stable most of the time and screen sharing usually works without drama. File sharing with OneDrive links is handy, no more emailing big attachments back and forth. Integrations with calendars and other apps save me time when scheduling and following up. Search finds messages and files quickly so I can grab past info without digging forever.

Cons

The app can feel heavy and slow on older laptops, it sometimes lags when switching channels. Notifications get noisy if people post a lot, and muting channels is not always obvious. Mobile app misses some desktop features and the layout can be confusing at times. Setting up permissions and private channels took a few tries and some help from IT. Calls sometimes drop or audio glitches happen on bad networks, needs manual fixes. Customizing tabs and apps is useful but also a bit fiddly and inconsistent across teams.

### "Teams is the best at what it does"

March 25, 2026

5.0

Teams has made projects for my contracts possible that could happen without it. What Microsoft has done with mobile and plugin integration is nothing short of fantastic.

Pros

Teams is the most feature rich video conferencing software available. I have use Teams with several companies now and can confidently say that when all the extra features are customized and properly set up Teams is the best for communication and collaboration. Teams is free to use and integrates well with many other Microsoft products, especially SharePoint, making project separation and management in large companies possible without any extra steps or costs.

Cons

Though Teams is easy to use as an individual, integrating it into an Azure environment requires higher skill and knowledge. Microsoft's customer support on their free products is best handled through their online forums or the open community.

### "Utile, ma non sempre fluido"

March 17, 2026

4.0

### "Strong and Reliable Platform for Teamwork"

April 21, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Teams has been positive. It is a powerful tool for communication and collaboration, bringing chat, video meetings, and file sharing together in one platform. It works well for teamwork and helps keep projects organized through channels and shared files. Customer support is generally reliable for business users, and the integration with other Microsoft tools is very useful.

Pros

What I liked most about Microsoft Teams is how it brings everything needed for teamwork into one platform. It offers good value for money by combining chat, video meetings, file sharing, and collaboration tools in one system. Customer support is generally reliable for business users, and the platform is fairly easy to use once you get familiar with it. Team communication is strong thanks to organized chats, channels, and video calls, making it easy to stay connected. Collaboration is also very effective, especially with shared files and real-time editing. It includes useful customization options for teams and channels, and it supports basic project management features that help keep tasks and discussions organized in one place.

Cons

Notifications can also be overwhelming, and the app may run slowly during large meetings or heavy use.

### "The gold standard for businesses"

April 24, 2026

4.0

Overall for businesses its understandable way it's the standard. Functionality wise, it works as needed for instant private/group messaging and video conferencing. Integrations are widely available if you need to connect it to any 3rd party applications. Its modern and feature full but the definition of business/corporate.

Pros

Comes included with every M365 subscription/plan and allows chat and video conferencing. The overall meeting function works as expected and UI is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. During a call you can screenshare, chat, or transfer files if needed. Chat UI is pretty clean and has all of the most common functions. Ton of 3rd party app integrations available which is nice.

Cons

Teams channels are the worst thing ever. Its confusing to manage and buried under a separate section that you have to dig into to get to that chat. It's kind of confusing when you want to start an ad-hoc meeting and customize the meeting settings ahead of time. It's also supper annoying that it always ask you how your Teams experience was after every single meeting/call. The active/away status is unreliable.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft Teams

Slack was an additional cost and Teams is already included in your M365 subscription package.

### "Microsoft Teams strumento essenziale per un docente"

May 15, 2026

5.0

### "Microsoft Teams: The Unified Command Center"

May 6, 2026

5.0

Overall I’ve had a good experience with Microsoft Teams, mostly because it can serve as a single source of truth for complex projects. It’s a workspace, not just a communication tool. The interface can be a little “busy” and the system requirements are high, but the payoff is a huge decrease in fragmented workflows. It has replaced most of our internal email threads and made cross-functional collaboration much more transparent. It's an invaluable asset for managing large-scale digital initiatives and keeping distributed teams aligned, as long as you take the time to structure your channels and manage your notifications

Pros

What I love the most is how Teams is a centralized command center, not just a messaging app. Native integration with Office 365 is seamless. The ability to collaborate on documents in real time within a channel saves a lot of back and forth. It means no more jumping between email, cloud storage and video conferencing tools to find context. Everything project-related is in one searchable place

Cons

The biggest downside is that it eats system resources like crazy and makes the app slow and gobbles up RAM. This can mess with your multitasking. The file management system is integrated but can feel a bit clunky. The underlying SharePoint folder structure is less intuitive to navigate than one would expect, meaning files can easily be ‘lost’ if they’re not organized perfectly from the get-go. Finally, the notification management is very fiddly to stop it being a constant distraction.

Switched from

[Google Meet](https://www.capterra.com/p/176572/Google-Hangouts/)

Google Meet was great for simple video conferencing and ease of access, but we found it didn’t have the strong project infrastructure we needed for complex long term workflows. Main reason for the switch was the need of continued collaboration. Google Meet. When the call ends, so does the conversation. The meeting is just part of a bigger ‘Channel’ within Teams, where the chat history, shared files and task tracking are there 24/7. We needed a platform that did more than just calls. We needed a place where we could co-author documents and manage project roadmaps without switching between a browser tab and our desktop apps. Switching to Teams really helped us move from 'just meeting' to actually 'working' in one unified interface.

### "A massive resource hog, not bad if you're already in the Microsoft ecosystem"

April 28, 2026

3.0

It feels like Microsoft tried to pack way too many features into a single application without optimizing how it actually runs. It gets the job done for basic corporate communication, but the constant lag and heavy RAM usage get annoying fast. If I just need to jump on a quick, stable video call with a client, I will almost always choose Google Meet over this. It is a necessary tool if your company forces you to use the Microsoft stack, but it definitely needs better optimization

Pros

Having chats, video calls, and shared files all in one place is convenient, especially if your entire company is already deeply tied to the Microsoft Office ecosystem. It is also nice that it connects with Power Automate, which gives you the potential to automate some repetitive team tasks and notifications, even if it takes some effort to set up

Cons

The desktop application is a massive resource hog. If you are working on an older or slightly weaker PC, just having Teams open in the background will slow your whole machine down. The UI is also quite clunky and unintuitive. Even though I like the idea of Power Automate, actually building those integrations is surprisingly complex and not user-friendly at all. Also, for video calls, it just isn't as reliable — Google Meet runs much smoother and is way more stable

### "Powerful Collaboration Tool"

May 21, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been positive. It’s been a reliable platform for communication, virtual meetings, and collaboration across teams. I especially liked the integration with Microsoft 365 tools like Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint, which made it easier to manage files and stay organized. To reiterate the above, the platform can feel a little cluttered at times, especially with a high volume of chats and channels, but overall, it helped improve collaboration, responsiveness, and remote teamwork.

Pros

I love the ease of use and the ability to create dedicated spaces within the platform. The communication features are essential for our team, it helps to keep us productive and collaborating effectively on projects.

Cons

I liked the functionality overall, but sometimes it felt like there were too many places for conversations and files to live.

### "Microsoft teams - All in one presentation platform"

May 4, 2026

5.0

My overall experience is best with the teams compare to google meet. I prefer teams for my day to day work and related activities. It has significantly improved communication and collaboration within the team, especially for remote work and cross-functional projects. Features like video conferencing, file sharing, and integration with other tools make it a reliable platform for daily operations. While there are some usability and performance challenges, the benefits outweigh the limitations, making it an effective tool for team coordination.

Pros

Microsoft teams has been an integral part of my day to day wok life. It has helped me in centralizing chat, call, meeting notes, screen share with cross functional teams mainly clients and distant team members. this helps me to walk the client through my protocol and presentation.

Cons

### "Pivotal platform in the workplace"

March 21, 2026

5.0

A very happy experience, the value for money on Microsoft Teams for what you get is impressive, and has become an integral platform to use within my daily work, whether communicating or sharing files it helps make working & communicating a lot more efficient.

Pros

Microsoft Teams has become a pivotal communication tool in the workplace. The instant messaging and file sharing between colleagues has made any boundaries minimal. The interface of teams make it easy for anybody to use, and navigate for any tool i'm wanting to use. The most impressive aspect of Microsoft Teams for me and my job role is the instant sharing of large files and videos for others to view, saving me time and effort using different platforms to do this.

Cons

The away (orange light) symbol tends to show quite quickly when I'm away from my laptop momentarily. Can be considered a bad look for me when i'm working from home as Teams has become the main way to monitor if someone is working or not.

### "Microsoft teams - Easy to use communication tool"

February 11, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience with Microsoft teams has been excellent, it is an effective tool to collaborate with others over long distances. The system is easy to use for all and can be integrated with other Microsoft services.

Pros

My favourite features about Microsoft teams is the integration to other Microsoft services, the easy of using outlook in connection with teams is brilliant. This allows me to use a communication app in cohesion with my planner, reminding me of upcoming meetings.

Cons

My least favourite part about Microsoft teams is the constant version updates that impact the functionality of certain systems. Updates are release in phases with some receiving the update before others, meaning you may not have a functionality until later down the line.
