### "Microsoft Teams for the Win"

January 28, 2026

4.0

I've used Microsoft Teams for over 6 years at an organization with about 150 employees and I like it a lot. Scheduling meetings, adding outside users to calls, setting up chat threads, and other features common to programs like this are easy and intuitive on Teams.

Pros

Microsoft Teams effectively combines the instant messaging/chat interface with the video call/meeting platform within the same program, which offers an advantage over the Slack & Zoom combo I've seen in some organizations.

Cons

Within the Teams desktop app interface, there's a lot available, which is nice if you know what it all is and use everything. But for beginners or simple users, it can be a little cluttered and even overwhelming.

### "IT-Systemadministrator"

March 20, 2026

5.0

Overall, Microsoft Teams is a powerful and stable collaboration platform that works best in a well-managed Microsoft 365 environment.

Pros

Microsoft Teams integrates very well into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. From an admin perspective, identity, permissions, and compliance are centrally manageable via Entra ID and M365 admin portals. For end users, chat, meetings, file collaboration, and calendar access in one place reduce tool sprawl significantly.

Cons

Teams can feel heavy with many teams and channels. Troubleshooting user issues is not always straightforward, as problems often span multiple services. Feature changes and UI updates are frequent, which can confuse users and require continuous communication and training from IT.

### "No Beauty Filter is Why This Review Only Gets Two Stars"

January 25, 2026

2.0

Overall, it's good. My team uses it so it's always easy to get in contact with someone whether it's through a chat message or a quick video call. I also like that all my documents are stored in the one place and I can easily share them with my team.

Pros

It's very easy to join a meeting just by clicking a link and keeps all team communication and documents in a single location.

Cons

The worst thing about Microsoft Teams is the the meetings function doesn't have a beauty filter. Apparently on enterprise level accounts get the beauty filter and everyone else (even paid personal accounts) get a minor smoothing feature which is barely helpful at all. Zoom is the main competitor and they do have a beauty filter as a standard feature for everyone.

### "Even with some small drawbacks, it's still the best all-in-one solution"

January 22, 2026

5.0

I've been using Teams for almost a decade now. It has gotten MUCH better since the beginning. I've tried a few other platforms along the way. Some outshined Teams with what they did, while others were way worse(Cisco). None of them offered as good of an all-in-one solution as Teams does. Especially if you're company is already on the other Microsoft platforms.

Pros

Have a solid video meeting solution and a solid instant messaging solution all in one is definitely the best parts of Teams. I'd give both of those an 8/10 on their own, but together they'd get a 9.5/10.

Cons

My only complaint about the video meeting part is that Microsoft still doesn't let you choose the quality level of your outgoing video feed. Zoom has had this for a while. I've spent time and money on my work-from-home setup with a nice 4k webcam and 1 gig fiber, but I'm at the mercy of Teams to decide how much compression it wants to add to my video feed, and it differs each day.

### "MS Teams: A Necessity for Corporate Communicators"

March 29, 2026

5.0

Overall, I am very happy with Teams. It makes collaboration on hundreds of different matters at a bourgeoning law firm easy to handle and organized. I feel like I can handle my day.

Pros

The platform is awesome. It is easy to use, easy to create groups for specific projects and collaboration. The customization options are fantastic and the connection with Outlook Calendar is a life saver.

Cons

There isn't much to be honest. I don't like how hard it is to understand different app connections within Teams, such as MS Planner. That said, that's a minor issue.

### "Microsoft Teams in the Workplace"

April 6, 2026

4.0

Overall, Microsoft Teams performs well and can be a great organization and schedule tool. Further, it can assist in team work and communicate when used as it is designed.

Pros

Microsoft Teams allows our company to remain in contact internally instantly. We often use the chats feature to discuss quick items rather than sending e-mails through Outlook. Teams also gives us the ability to save time by scheduling virtual meetings vs. having to travel. Teams also integrates well with both OneDrive and SharePoint and therefore increases the speed and ease of collaboration amongst members of the team. The integration between Teams and Outlook is also paramount to organization and scheduling.

Cons

Microsoft Teams, like many Microsoft products, has a very steep learning curve and can feel overwhelming and clunky for some team members/new hires. Members of our team often struggle to differentiate between chats, channels and teams.

### "The go-to meeting software. "

January 18, 2026

5.0

Teams is the go-to for meetings, online presentations and collaboration. Via video or text chat, it just works properly with no drama. Particularly great is collaboration across documents and files. Easy to use and understand with through customisation options available for advanced users.

Pros

Slick, works perfectly with other Microsoft products. Is the leader in meeting tech (having taken over from Zoom since the pandemic). The customer support team are very knowledgeable: and offer solutions, suggestions, a thorough explanation alongside solutions. When we experienced issues during setup they called us immediately (from the US) and talked us through the solution, explaining the what and the why. They also assured customisation for our particular setup.

Cons

Recently Microsoft have removed Teams from some of the lower cost standard 365 packages, offering it as a standalone subscription. While they have slightly reduced the cost of these subscriptions, it remains higher-cost to implement both.

We still use Zoom alongside Teams, but Teams has become our default for video conferencing, collaboration and chat due to its tight integration with windows and office 365.

### "Instant Team Communication"

January 25, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been positive. By using Teams as a central platform, communication within an organisation can be streamlined, and having fewer applications running helps improve system performance and reduce storage usage.

Pros

Microsoft Teams offers great value of money as it is included in part of the Microsoft package. It is essential for team communication, in instant messaging, video calls, calls, and online meetings. It is easy and simple to use, and can be used by many individuals and businesses, it is widely used. You can set up channels to improve team collaboration and project management, share files and words quickly. It has a very good search function to find older items. I have an in-built landline which is very useful when working remotely. It identifies any unread meeting or other chats so you can easily navigate and find and read them. It has integrated calendars, OneDrive, apps and co-pilot. You can customize your background and other features giving customisation options.

Cons

Occasionally Microsoft Teams suffers when there is poor internet connection, but this can be fixed by turning off cameras. It offers an option to give call quality feedback and it feels like they are constantly improving.

### "The All in One Powerhouse That Keeps Our Business Running"

December 9, 2025

5.0

Microsoft Teams has become the default operating system for our daily work life. It effectively combines our meetings, chat, and file collaboration into one single hub. While it can feel a little bloated at times compared to lighter alternatives, the sheer amount of functionality you get is unmatched. It simplifies our workflow by keeping everyone on the same page and provides exceptional value since it is likely already included in your business subscription. It is a robust tool that handles the demands of a busy professional environment with ease.

Pros

The biggest strength of Microsoft Teams is how perfectly it fits into the rest of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Being able to open, edit, and collaborate on Word documents or Excel spreadsheets directly inside the Teams window without switching apps is a massive time saver. The video conferencing quality is excellent and reliable, even with large groups of people on a call. I also appreciate the calendar integration, which makes scheduling meetings effortless since it syncs instantly with Outlook. The background blur and custom background features are great for maintaining professionalism when working from home. It really feels like a complete workspace rather than just a chat app.

Cons

The application can be a bit heavy on system resources, often slowing down older computers if you have too many other programs open. The file structure can sometimes get confusing because everything is backed by SharePoint, so finding a specific file shared months ago takes more clicking than I would like. The notification settings are also quite granular, and if you do not configure them correctly at the start, you can get overwhelmed by constant pop ups and sounds from different channels.

### "Best collaboration tool"

April 26, 2026

5.0

Teams has been a reliable tool for daily communication and collaboration. Setting it up is straightforward especially if your organization already uses Microsoft 365. Managing projects, sharing files, and having quick calls all in one tool saves a lot of time. Value for money is good if you're already on a Microsoft plan since it comes bundled. It's not perfect but for a team that lives inside the Microsoft ecosystem it does the job well without needing extra tools.

Pros

The best part is everything is in one place — chat, video calls, file sharing, and task management without switching between apps. Integration with Office 365 is seamless, so collaborating on Word or Excel documents in real time is very convenient. Creating separate channels for different projects keeps team communication clean and organized. For day to day team collaboration it works really well.

Cons

The app can get slow and heavy sometimes, especially during calls with larger groups. Notifications can get overwhelming if you're part of too many channels. Customization options are limited compared to tools like Slack. Customer support is mostly documentation based and getting actual help for specific issues takes time. The interface also feels a bit cluttered until you get used to it.

### "Seamless Interconnectivity "

April 24, 2026

5.0

Pros

Teams made it easy to move seamlessly between chat, meetings, file sharing, and collaboration without switching platforms. Having conversations tied directly to channels and shared documents helped keep projects organized and provided clear context, especially for ongoing work.

Cons

\- Inconsistent file experience: Files lived in SharePoint under the hood, which was powerful but not always intuitive, especially for users unfamiliar with how Teams and SharePoint connect. - Chat sprawl: Conversations could become fragmented across channels, private chats, and meetings, making it harder to track decisions over time.

### "Organized and Effective for Team Collaboration"

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been great. It makes communication, meetings, and document sharing easy, and it’s very helpful for staying connected and organized.

Pros

What I liked most about Microsoft Teams is how it keeps everything organized in one place. I can chat, join meetings, share files, and collaborate with others without switching between different platforms. It makes communication more efficient and structured.

Cons

At times, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming because there are many features and channels, which can make it harder to find specific conversations or files quickly.

### "Industry Standard and All-in-One Platform for Meetings and Collaboration"

December 29, 2025

5.0

MS Teams is a reliable and well-rounded collaboration app that works great for meetings, webinars, and day-to-day teamwork. It gets better with each update, and despite a few areas that could be simplified, it is the best platform for workplace communication and collaboration!

Pros

Industry standard for online and hybrid meetings. Microsoft really works on improving Teams constantly and every update brings more useful functionalities. It's great both for individual and group meetings, but also for webinars and internal company calls. Especially webinars function is finally on the highest level, and offers easy participants invitation, management, and sending automated emails. It's intuitive and super easy to use, both on Macs and on Windows devices. Teams chats and channels are great place to collaborate both with colleagues and with external guest users, and it's well integrated with SharePoint for file storage and management. Private channels are also a great tool to work privately within the same channel. It's also very nice that you can add many apps and add-ons to Channels and Meetings. VoIP functionality is great and allows employees to receive calls directly in Teams when someone dials their work phone number, which is very useful in Germany where traditional phone calls are still widely used :)

Cons

It can be confusing having individual and group chats mixed with Teams channels, and the backend settings for scheduled meetings and webinars could be easier to find and manage.

### "Microsoft Teams Makes The Dream Work! "

January 6, 2026

5.0

Overall, I am extremely happy with Teams! It is such a simple yet powerful tool for improving collaboration and increasing efficiency across the company.

Pros

I love how teams is easy to use and has the ability to adapt to all my companies needs. It keeps the whole team on the same page without having to clutter up our inboxes. Being able to instantly message speeds up response time and allows us to more effectively and efficiently respond to clients and employees. Since we already pay for Microsoft Office, it is a no brainer to use Teams!

Cons

Some of our team was hesitant to use "another program" they would have to remember to check. It would be helpful if the default was for Teams to always be open and notifications to always pop up since some folks will forget to open it.

### "Microsoft Teams review"

March 13, 2026

5.0

Microsoft Teams has been a game‑changer for us. Before Teams, we relied on conference calls and in‑person meetings, and we really didn’t have anything that brought communication and collaboration together in one place. Teams completely changed how we work and communicate day to day.

Pros

Chat, meetings, and file sharing all in one place, easy to set up meetings and jump on calls without dial‑ins. It makes remote and hybrid work much more effective. Great for quick conversations that don’t need a formal meeting. Integrates well with Outlook and the rest of Microsoft 365

Cons

Notifications can get a bit noisy if you’re in a lot of teams or channels. There are a lot of features, which can feel overwhelming at first. Takes some time for people to learn best practices

### "Microsoft Teams : un excellent outil de collaboration professionnelle"

May 11, 2026

5.0

### "Microsoft Teams, Improves Communication for Multi-Site Organizations"

December 19, 2025

4.0

Microsoft Teams is reliable, and easy to use. It has improved communication and it's generally free of errors and issues. If something does come up, it's typically a quick fix.

Pros

Microsoft Teams is easy for staff and external partners to use. We hold virtual interviews and rarely have issues with folks connecting. The system is similar to Zoom, and that keeps features and buttons familiar. It has enhanced team communication since launching it during the pandemic 5 years ago. We have 200 employees spread out in 15 locations and I can easily say that our communication is better since using this product.

Cons

There are often times when staff or external partners go to connect and suddenly their mic settings are changed or they struggle with sound. We've learned this is typically due to updates, but it can be frustrating in the moment.

### "THE BEST OPTION FOR WORK COMMUNICATION"

December 22, 2025

5.0

It is a genuinely easy-to-use application, facilitating communication between large teams with extensive customization options. Its interoperability is fascinating, and I can use it comfortably on any device.

Pros

The interoperability and connectivity between devices it has is incredible. It greatly helps to improve fast, effective and instant communication with the work team, especially large teams, allowing the creation of small groups and the customization of group reorganization as we see fit. Being able to switch from my laptop meeting to my cell phone allows me to manage my devices better.

Cons

Sometimes, when I'm working on external websites and leave the application minimized, my status changes to "away," which is detrimental to me even though I'm attentive to any notifications from the application. As a virtual assistant, it's important for me not to have to constantly open the app for my bosses to see that I'm online.

### "Trusted, reliable, now more user friendly "

January 22, 2026

5.0

I have noticed a dramatic improvement if Microsoft Teams over the last few years, prompted by the extensive use we more name of video meetings. Overall, the tool has become much easier to use, more approachable. The impression is that Microsoft has taken the time to look at what popular competitors offers and what James them successful to come up with updates to better suit a wider audience. They layout and features are today far more welcoming and relevant to everyday application. These are aspects presenting some more room for improvement, still. What I am most pleased about is however its reliability that is superior to others. It's a trusted tool, for professional and personal purposes.

Pros

Reliable, consistent, professional. Its features and user friendliness have improved much over the last few years, making it a more versatile tool.

Cons

Still work to do in the overall look, feel, customisability and fun side of the experience. Better pricing would be a bonus

### "Powerful Collaboration and Communication Tool"

May 6, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been positive. It’s a powerful collaboration tool that brings chat, video calls, file sharing, and project management into one platform. Integration with Microsoft 365 makes working on documents seamless, and channels help keep conversations organized. While it can feel a bit cluttered at times and notifications can be overwhelming, it significantly improves team communication and productivity. Overall, Teams is reliable, feature-rich, and essential for coordinating work in both small and large teams.

Pros

I find it excellent for collaboration and communication. It integrates well with Microsoft 365, making file sharing and real-time collaboration seamless. Chat, video calls, and channels keep teams organized, while notifications and calendar integration help manage tasks efficiently. Overall, it boosts productivity and teamwork.

Cons

I find it can be overwhelming with too many notifications and channels. The interface can feel cluttered, and search functionality is sometimes slow. Video calls may lag on weaker connections, and some features require a Microsoft 365 subscription. Overall, it’s powerful but can be complex for new users.

### "Microsoft teams is a must have for any business"

November 28, 2025

Microsoft teams has been a great communication tool for our company considering we have three different store locations so we don’t get to see everyone that works in our company face-to-face on a daily basis so this makes communication easy and keeps us organized on our expectations for the day

Pros

We use Microsoft teams everyday for meetings, communication between the sales office and warehouse, its easy to use and keep everyone the loop about what different branches are doing and needing and makes my companies workflow and communication easy

Cons
