Owner Real Estate Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Teams is the best option if you have to do work group calls" May 28, 2025 4.0 When it works it is the best, I have had some connectivity issues which I think are my fault and now seem to be fixed. Despite the issue I prefer it to its competitors and when it works it seems to be more stable. Pros I like that its Microsoft and I think it is more popular and functional than zoom. It does seem relatively intuitive to use. Also, if you want to use the phone dial-in feature it works first time , every time - much better than most others and much easier. Cons I have serious compatibility issues with my older laptop (now upgraded so all good) and my cell connection. Really stopped me using it - I just couldn't figure out what was wrong. It has always provided trusted video calls, in-line coediting of Word/Excel and threaded chats organized by project channels. I prefer to use it for any forms of online meetings , interviews e.t.c rather than any other similar apps as it possesses good audio and video quality. I also do enjoy features like sharing screen,raising hands in the meeting,chat section e.t.c. Pros It has auto recording feature It consumes little data Its Cool audio is friendly High quality video display Sharing of screen is impressively splendid Cons It might take some times while reconnecting if the network is not stable. Not very intuitive from the get go but offers a lot once you've got it down. Pros File sharing is nice and easy to organize. Cons Navigating between different functions can be troublesome. And if you hit "back" on your browser instead of on teams it takes you all the way back to the beginning. I like how you don't have to have the app either and you can just join a meeting with the link. Cons There isn't much to dislike about Microsoft Teams - it does the job! One thing is that it can be difficult to find meeting recordings, it would be good if, like Google Meet, it was perhaps emailed to the admin participants afterwards or emailed a link to the recording? With all the additional apps you can install and integrations that exist it is superb. Pros I love the integrated Microsoft eco system of Teams. One Drive to share files, Calendar for meetings, internal chat, its all in one place and makes it so easy to communicate with each other and collaborate. Cons It seems to cause so many problems for my PC. A day full of Teams calls and heavy Teams usage kills my laptop performance regularly. I like that I can add attendees straight from my outlook and send it to them like a joining link without having to jump between all these tools. Cons I have found myself getting out of sync with the audio during video meetings. Such things happen more often during longer sessions or when multiple persons are sharing content. As well as it is capable of providing team calls with either large or small groups. Pros It is one of the best programs for large group calls and chats. Other platforms tend to lag with a large audience but Microsoft Teams doesn’t whether everyone is on video or just one person on camera it doesn’t lag behind like other apps do. Cons There are a ton of notifications automatically on, it should allow each user to choose which notifications they’d like to receive or not.
