I had a very fruitful experience using Microsoft teams : 1. Meeting with people outside/within my organisation. 2. Chats with people in same community 3. Got to meet new people via community sharing same interests.

Pros

We can set up meetings with any one anywhere. We can create communities according to our topics/groups/fields. Meeting can be organised asper calendar. Easily accessible and available. Can be downloaded in seconds.

Cons

All is fine as of now. Very easy to use.

Unlike other BIM tools, Ms Teams has unlimited communication channels.

Overall it functions well for what it's needed to do, but I feel like they lost some chat features when they moved away from Skype chat.

Pros

The video call feature is the best feature, it integrates really well with Outlook calendar, and the ability to see the status of your team is helpful.

Cons

I don't love the chat feature, it doesn't work or function as smoothly as other software's dedicated to a chat, like Slack.

Pros

Teams is quick to use and the visual aspect is easy for your eyes to interpret.

Cons

It takes a few minutes longer to load then our previous platform.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience to use Skype. I was able to connect with family in different parts of the world where other apps have restrictions and no reach ability.

Skype was an excellent app to connect with my family and friends. I was able to use this on mutiple devices with ease and I liked how it was accessible in all parts of the world

Sometimes the video chat quality would lag a bit but I think it was mainly due to the load on my network connection and not the software itself.

Easy to chat with co workers, easy to make groups and chat. Instead of an email a chat can be sent and answered right away. It’s like having the person right there but not face to face

In fact, despite all the problems, it can get better with good software and some development. But unfortunately I can't trust it at the moment.

Pros

I use Microsoft Teams at a University. It is nice to have a complete software. We can share files with our colleagues. We can also save time by working jointly on some documents. It is also nice that it is extensible and has a lot of add-ons. For example, we have installed the tasks application, so we can assign tasks immediately and follow who is doing them. It's also nice to have a smartphone app.

Cons

Although it is a nice software in general, I don't want to work with it for two main reasons. Firstly, Linux support is very bad. Secondly, sometimes our files are lost. The interface is slow. Recently, some of our files were lost, including the pictures of the teams we set up. Also, when I tried to use the Office application in it, I typed the title and it deleted it immediately during autosave. I was using it before because it was the official system of our school, but now I'm starting to think that we need to switch to a different system. It is also necessary to back up the files frequently.
