### "Works quite well for educators"

January 11, 2022

5.0

Overall, I've had a good experience. My only negative is that there have been occasions when I've accidentally opened more of one meeting.

Pros

It has a desktop app version so this can easily be accessed. I can adjust the view to accommodate seeing many students at one time (but there are limits of course). There is a feature that can record the attendance. You can then download this for future reference. The link to your meeting can easily be copied and shared to those concerned, or you can send targeted invites.

Cons

There have been times when it seems that I've opened more than one meeting. I then have confusion about how to stop one and when you are gathering a group of students this can be frustrating and confusing.

### "Microsoft Teams Review"

July 10, 2021

5.0

As a student, Microsoft Teams really helped me with managing my classes and communicating with my groupmates. It offers chat, file sharing, calls, video recording, and many more! Personally, it is a well timed and suitable application most especially for school. Alongside with that, it is an exciting medium to use , since the overall design is pleasing and well maintained.

Pros

Microsoft Teams is a convenient, cohesive and quality application. With our situation today, where everything is online, it lets you communicate at a faster and easier pace. Microsoft Teams allows you to create meetings that is very useful, for work, school, or even communicating with your peers. Consequently, the audio and video recording of this application is the best. Even though you are using your headphones or earphones, it still records the audio. This feature is not that common with other applications though. Moreover, files are synced with every device and it is accessible whenever and wherever you are. It serves its purpose of being able to chat and conduct meetings.

Cons

Since Microsoft Teams offers a lot of features, it really needs a stable internet connection. Some Microsoft features in this application tends to be slow and inefficient, so might as well use their Microsoft applications out of Microsoft Teams. Additionally, you need to open the application in a laptop or PC to be able to delete a file. Also, the application do lack notifications, so you need to check each group or "team" every once in a while to be updated with announcements or posts. If you are a person who is not that tech savvy, you can get confused with the controls.

### "Teams Indispensable Deskphone Killer "

October 7, 2021

5.0

Game Changer... went from People using Email as a form of Chat that fills up your inbox to using Teams to hold the Chat conversations...

Pros

Wide array of new and existing features being added. Integrations to many 3rd party apps.

Cons

when users need to deal with 3rd parties outside of the company... who also use teams... Teams for Business and Free Version of Teams do not seem to be compatible... Current workaround is to go through your Office365 Web Portal and access teams there and try to run your meeting there...

Reason for choosing Microsoft Teams

Better to have a combination of products all from the same developer rather than apps from multiple developers that have no or little chance of integrating or communicating with other apps.

### "Better communication platform for a company which use Office 365"

October 14, 2019

4.0

In my opinion, I much prefer Skype to Microsoft Teams because of the ease of chatting and the use of uploading and viewing files is so much easier. OneDrive can be used instead to upload files and it can then be shared and that is much easier for me. Microsoft Teams is new, and for now, it seems complicated to me because of the structure of the chat and file structure. When the OneDrive synchronizing stoped on my MacBook, I had a very bad time with it.

Pros

Microsoft Teams is a very good easy to use a duplicate and changed version of Skype. Microsoft Teams can be used to do a number of different things that Skype cannot do. Microsoft Teams on the good side can do a number of different things from starting a conversation to set reminders for groups or teams. Microsoft Teams can share files with anyone in your team with ease, and it does get deeper than that. Teams also do more than the usual chat software, like personalizing the software so it can fit your experience. If you have a full Office 365 package you will experience full Office 365 including tools such as Planner, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Power BI. Teams has both Android and iOS apps that you can use to communicate with your colleagues with your smartphone.

Cons

But then again, Teams can get confusing. Uploading a file can be easy, but then again file structure can be complicated and can frustrate users (it frustrated me). Microsoft tries and makes it easy to use by separating the main features into categories like Chat, Teams, and Files to separate apps on the sidebar. This again over-confuses users (like it did to me) as everyone prefers it to be in one app like it was on Skype. It has compatibility issues, I have installed and used Teams in my MacBook but OneDrive synchronizing has stoped I have no idea on this issue.

A great tool for communication within enterprise. Has amazing video call capabilities with latest security features. Better improvement needs to be done on integration with other software's so it can become one stop solution for all productivity activities.

Pros

\- Real time communication - Cloud backup - Variety of connectors - Able to create multiple Teams and Channels within them - Excellent integration with Microsoft products

Cons

\- A bit heavy on ram - Needs better optimization with system having 4 GB of ram - Able to work even on less speed networks

### "MS Teams: A Bridge for WFH Employees"

November 14, 2022

5.0

Pros

After the pandemic hit, more and more employees and companies are switching to a WFH set up. Especially for seasonal projects in order to lessen costing, and I'd say that MS Teams is very effective in ensuring that the overall production and training is reliable and efficient. Aside from monitoring your team's performance and discussing goals for each quarter you can also use this platform in cascading important reminders or refreshers especially now the Yuletide season wherein more clients need help and more agents are busy. The chat service, audio visual quality and screen sharing features are useful and easy to navigate from.

Cons

Not least about MS teams just a little area of improvement which is an option to update or refresh the chat box without having to leave the meeting and then rejoin it again.

### "Microsoft Teams, essential nowadays. "

October 4, 2021

4.0

I needed a software where I could share screen in real-time, and where I could speak and hear my coworkers. Microsoft Teams offer that and more, so after I probe it, I decided to look no further.

Pros

At my work, I need to be communicate almost 24 hours, because I have to known especific details about videos or images with my team, and Microsoft Teams was the solution. We probe lots of software to videocalls, but none could offer all of resources like M. Teams. Also, I work all of the time with graphics and multimedia content, so, when I need to share screen in real-time with coworkers, Microsoft Teams is by far the best.

Cons

At first, It was difficult for me to understand how this software works. It's a little bit difficult when you started with assignments or buttons on videocalls.

### "Wide offering of features but with issues in each"

May 27, 2022

4.0

This has enabled rapid communication via IM, conference generation, and phone calls across all of our team members scattered across the globe. There are minor issues as to be expected with a tool which includes such robust and varied features, but none of them are blockers.

Pros

The ability to have chat, phone, screen sharing, conference generation and calendar integration have been critical and allowed us to integrate many functions across platforms. Teams integrates seamlessly with Outlook to create calendar items and tasks across the two platforms.

Cons

While there are plug-ins for Word and Excel that enable creation of word and excel documents within teams, the most basic function needed for integration is shoddy - when copying or pasting an Excel grid into an IM, the formatting is removed and it is often nonsensical without it. Similarly, when pasting from word with formatting, it will often hold the formatting, but then you cannot return to the standard formatting to continue typing easily. The inability to past a small set of cells from Excel into Teams nicely causes issues quite regularly, so that we send screen shots or attach entire sheets when it should not be necessary. There are a few 'features' that waste time as well - there is an 'Activity' tab which summarizes all of the activity from the other tabs, with no way to turn it off. If I miss a phone call, I get a notification in the 'Calls' section, then a notification in 'Activity' which I do not want, it is doubling my notifications so I tried hiding the activity tab but cannot turn it off. There are a wide variety of plug-ins that can integrate with Teams to allow the use of different apps, although typically with limited functionality from the main app which makes sense. I want the command functions that Slack has, as I was heavily reliant on the 'remind' command to give myself little reminders in the form of IMs to myself throughout the day - instead, I would need to get a plug in for a specific added on reminder tool, or use the tasks function in Outlook.

### "TEAMS has allowed me to be connected and collaborative as a teacher"

December 27, 2021

5.0

Microsoft TEAMS allowed me to teach classes during the pandemic and continue to be there and support my students. Without this program, I would not be able to do my job and thrive supporting and advocating for my students.

Pros

I love that Microsoft TEAMS is integrated into the Microsoft 365 environment, which my school district uses with all students, teachers, and staff. I love the ability to record meetings and them show up on Microsoft Stream. I love the ability to screenshare and also the ability to ask students to screenshare in order to help students with work during last virtual classes.

Cons

I do not like how much internet that TEAMS uses, regardless of being on a mobile device or computer. Sometimes our school wifi is weak and this creates less opportunities to use TEAMS and collaborate.

### "Good platform for effective collaboration"

August 26, 2021

5.0

Pros

1) A very easy to use platform for arranging meetings and integrates well with other tools like Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive. 2) Recording meetings and sharing screen is simple and I have not had any issues with it. I have also recorded presentations for conferences using this tool and didn't face any problems. 3) I've never had to google anything to find out how something needs to be done on Teams which is saying something for a platform with so many features. 4) Teams seamlessly allowed the transfer from "Skype for business". Chatting and making calls to those who still use "Skype for business" both within the organization and external contacts has been a no-brainer. 5) I have not experienced any file size restriction issues like with my email, on attachments.

Cons

1) The tool does have a short learning curve. Figuring out which "three dots" icon you need to click to get what you want was a hurdle. 2) I once had a problem when I changed the screen resolution and some of the text in the notes got hidden behind a menu that wouldn't go away. 3) As I navigate through the submenus the menu options shrink the available space for the final file that needs to be viewed, especially on small screens. Perhaps collapsing the higher menus could open up the screen to view more of the document than the menu options.

### "A great tool for managing organization online."

September 3, 2021

5.0

I love using this software for managing my organization online. It helps my online teamwork a lot in a managed way.

Pros

This is an all-in-one platform for managing any organization online. I have both used this software for my University & Workplace. This software can alone manage group calls with unlimited minutes, strong file sharing, assigning assignments & personal conversation within the team. This is a great package for any organization to manage them online in this pandemic. It has a timeline for seeing the activity also.

Cons

This software is great. But some minor improve can enhance the user experience by making the UI more simple & a properly arranged file management system.

September 27, 2023

It's good, it's not the best one out there but I'd still recommend it

Pros

It´s easy to use and it makes the work easier, it's great to work and be able to keep in touch with everyone in the team and to explain new tasks

Cons

Sometimes it bugs or depends way too much on wifi. If the wifi is not the best other tools work well but teams doesnt work the same, maybe you are on a video conference and you can't share your screen or stuff like that

### "Best app for official meetings and conferences"

August 7, 2021

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams is pretty good. It has helped me with my online software trainings. My teacher would easily operate on my software using the remote access feature whenever I got stuck in the software. And I recommend others to use this software. It is worth using for professionals and students.

Pros

The feature that I like the most is the remote access feature. One participant of the meeting can easily operate other participant's computer or laptop. . Other features that I like are group chat and file sharing feature which is a major plus point of this software.

Cons

The thing that I hate about this software is that it does not work smoothly in smartphones. Another thing I dislike is that it consumes a lot of internet data.

### "A basic tool in the office"

June 21, 2021

5.0

It is possible for me to communicate with my work team immediately. Now that we are in the home office, communication through this software is essential both to send messages and to make calls.

Pros

It is possible to have constant communication with the members of my team and know the status of their task. I use it to share documents through the function called groups, which shares figures with other work teams and these are updated automatically. In addition, in chats with work teams it is also possible to share files and have them updated online by 1 or more team members There is a function called alerts which helps you send important messages that appear in pop-up windows. You can also tag someone to get their attention and they can know that the message is for them. It is a essential tool in my team.

Cons

On some occasions the global tool has had problems. Which has reduced communication, having to use other means of communication.

September 13, 2021

5.0

being a complimentary product with our enterprise Office 365 license it was easy to adopt and deploy and has become the life blood of our internal communications globally

Pros

A ubiquitous and cheap Unified Communications that is deeply integrated into the Office 365 ecosystem. Although a Microsoft product is available on both Windows and Mac and iOS and Android. The app can be even be accessed via web browser for Linux OS's.

Cons

The Teams app can be intimidating when first opened and can take a little while to learn how to navigate and find the chats or groups you are looking for. Depending on the size of your organisation there can be a lot of noise if you turn the alerting on.

### "The perfect virtual conference tool "

October 15, 2021

5.0

So far, I have yet to have any problems with Teams. Therefore, I can honestly state that I think it is a truly remarkable video conferencing program because it is so easy to use.

Pros

Extremely easy to use and user friendly. I was even able to show my mother how it works in less than 5 minutes. I even showed her how it works via Teams!

Cons

Though I have not done a true deep-dive into Teams, at face value, I feel like it is too simple sometimes. However, I am not sure what I would do to change the software. I will say, I often find myself in a Teams Meeting where at least 1 person forgets to turn ON their mic and then proceeds to struggle to find how to turn it on and off. I find it to be rather easy/obvious, but perhaps microsoft could increase the size of the icons.

### "Teams makes our virtual meet lively and interactive "

Perfect Virtual connections and very user friendly

Pros

Video conferencing, screen sharing, remote access, and private chat are widely used in teams. it helped us to keep connected throughout and also we could connect customers and support them through teams using remote access. It also provides great security, which allows us to ask permission to join any external meetings, and also without permission you cannot connect to one's machine.

Cons

The only issue with teams is it lags our system a lot, this is the reason sometimes I had to choose other video conferencing applications.

### "Critical missing features"

September 10, 2022

2.0

Pros

Teams brings it all into a one-stop shop for you, making it super-simple for you to create a comprehensive space for you and your team to work on common work together. So if you're coming from the Skype environment, the idea of managing your contacts, chatting and calling, hosting and attending meetings, all from the same platform, is quite normal. But teams takes it just a little bit further and actually allows you to, not just share content, but store it and access it and collaborate and co-author it at the same time. Just a great opportunity there, really saves time.

Cons

Critical missing features namely: 1 Inability for co-organisers to moderate breakout rooms. This particular missing feature is the reason why people still are adamant to move away from zoom. I hope it could be introduced in the shortest time possible 2. Inability to create a group without exposing members' details to other members of the group i.e a group or team where members cannot see details of each other's profile or members remain anonymous. An example of this is when scheduling an interview and you do not want the applicants in the same group or team to interact. Microsoft Teams lacks this feature and makes it impossible to hold such discreet meeting of guest personalities whom you want to remain anonymous to each other during an interview

### "Teams is What Microsoft is Known For"

November 12, 2021

3.0

I use Teams everyday as my biggest client uses this tool for all its internal communications. Thinking of it as cutting down on email overflowing my inbox makes me grateful. It certainly is useful. I would say there are more polished tools out there for each single task (like slack for chat and teams channels or zoom for online meetings), but there are currently none on the market that are comparable to MS Teams. None, that pack it all into one offering like this. And that is its strength, in addition to being a MicroSoft product, which implies that many, many use it, many more will be using it in the future and MicroSoft's investment means this is a tool that will be around for at least a decade, maybe two.

Pros

MS Teams is a great piece of software in many regards. It integrates so well into all the other office products, which means if you are already using Outlook, Word and co. - adding Teams as you collaboration tool is almost a no brainer. Teams has so many functions and usage cases, you are likely never going to use them all. As many larger organizations and cooperations but also small businesses and schools use MS Teams, collaborating across organizational boundaries becomes easier over time too.

Cons

Like so many MS products of the past decades, Teams tries to do it all, and does non of it with complete excellence. The fact that Teams is a resource hog is well known. It will force your maxed out MacBook Pro to its knees - maybe not the newest ones that cost 5000 USD, ok), filling up the RAM and making your CPU cores run in circles. Likewise on mobile, during Teams calls my (otherwise normally functioning) iPhone will often die, the combination of overheating and battery drainage is faster than the iPad charger I use. But apart from performance issues and seemingly poor programming, Teams often feels like its a continual work in progress, like your working in an office that is also a construction site. New features are added regularly (and often I really like them and am grateful for the addition) but they regularly break things. E.g. suddenly sharing files from OneDrive in a chat would not give reading rights to my chat buddies. This has been fixed since, but things like this keep happening.

### "My favorite thing about work from home"

September 7, 2021

4.0

The shining light throughout the transition to remote working has been Teams, and it has cemented itself as the cornerstone of our business operations communications and dashboards. There isn't a single part of a business that Teams cannot enhance in some way, and this is especially due to its ability to integrate and add other services to it. Its customizability is its greatest strength, but not downplaying how robust and reliable the service really is.

Pros

The customizability and potential for integration with just about anything. We're currently using Teams as a hub for all of our other business intelligence systems and it's been a breeze to implement and integrate with, coupled with the other Microsoft offerings such as Power Automate and Office 365

Cons

Due to the in-progress state of the software, many features feel incomplete or not up to their full potential. It must be noted though that MS is constantly updating, adding and fixing these sore points and given the amount of time since this became mission critical for most, they've done a great job.

### "A great vessel for in house communication"

Overall- Teams help us efficiently accomplish our goals.. It is a local space for our team to communicate with each other on a business-oriented platform.

Pros

I love that we can communicate with those on our network instantly and easily, while still being about to keep their personal contact information out of the loop. I love that Excell and Word are integrated with Teams so that we are able to manage files, calendars, and schedules while providing real time updates.

December 15, 2021

5.0

I have been using Teams, Webex, Zoom parallelly for attending classes and online examinations, most of my lectures are arranged in teams where apart from meetings, we can have assignments, grading, chatting. It's the best one-stop for all the classroom activities.

Pros

Most convenient way of organising meetings. Best platform for both Live lectures and recorder, we don't need to download another software to play the recorded videos. Screensharing is butter smooth especially while sharing 3d graphic software visuals. While other apps fail to recognise the importance of scroll button on mouse, teams Is spot on.

Cons

To be able to pin my video for screen recording. Especially for proctoring of examinations, we need to have video of ourselves while able to see questions.
