it has made working from home easy or remotely easy, with the features on the app either the phone or the laptop, I am confident enough to hold meeting, share information with colleagues at any given time and place as long as I have internet connection. its been amazing

Pros

Its amazing how I have this app on my phone and also on my laptop. it has been amazing sine the beginning of the pandemic, it has made life easy and connecting with loved once easy to make. from instant messaging, voice calls, video calls, calendar updates, meeting request, webinars, files can be stored on it, share point , presentations are done easily, we are able to capture our daily reports for COVID for the company purpose.

Cons

well, other people like putting their availability status on appear offline, which at times we don't know if we can call them or not.

### "The Communication Tool of the Pandemic"

MS Teams has been a fantastic tool which has allowed my team to stay in communication during the pandemic. It's become our most used tool which has succeeded in increasing collaboration and efficiency. Although there are a few small issues with this app, mainly being the glitches and deletion of chat messages older than 30 days, there are so many more pros to using this software. I can see us sticking to this software for a while.

Pros

MS Teams has become the backbone of my team. I love that we can create multiple channels on this and go the level of determining who can access a channel as well as that member's level of control. This is a great collaboration tool since we are able to upload documents and have multiple people access these at the same time to modify/view. It's easy to create large group chats and start meetings from the chat in situations where we need to have fast responses. The audio and video quality is pretty good and it's great that we can see the list of participants on a meeting as well as who else was invited but didn't join. I love that it updates if a member is currently active, offline, or presenting so we know who to contact and expect a response from. Also love that you can use tags to send messages to the intended people. The ability to view calendar and easily schedule meetings is also a great perk.

Cons

I least like the fact that chat conversations disappear after 30 days because then that data is lost. I also dislike that files can't be backed up because occasionally people delete files which are then completely gone unless someone stored a local copy on their machine. The app does occasionally glitch in large meetings which causes me to lose audio/video and the only solution is to restart the app and rejoin the meeting in order to restore that.

Overall, Microsoft Teams has become one of my favorite work tools. It is possible to put shortcuts to dashboards, files in sharepoint or powerapps. there are opportunities for improvements in the search tool and file sharing.

Pros

Microsoft Teams innovated by bringing a tool that has everything in one place. it is possible to assemble teams and edit files simultaneously and also make external calls with excellent audio quality. the interactivity has also improved a lot making it possible to use gifs to entertain the workdays. Recently, the personal conversation option was an excellent idea that makes managing personal information much easier.

Cons

Microsoft teams can improve file sharing, options to enable edit permission doesn't always work clearly.

I use Microsoft Teams all day, every day to engage with my team, communicate in the remote work environment, hold video meetings to incorporate as much human interaction as possible into the virtual environment. Teams allows me to share information with my team, help them in their daily tasks, play games to lighten the workday, send praise features to celebrate their hard work, etc. Remote work would not be possible (at least on my team) without it!

Pros

I would not be able to function in my role without the consistent, daily use of Microsoft Teams. I use Teams to easily chat with my team, host online Team events, share important data, private message, host video meetings, make quick and easy phone calls, etc. I also love that there are so many add-ons that I can utilize (like the Praise feature) to engage with my team and reward productive output.

Cons

The only con that I would list would be that the emoji menu should have a recently used section. But, this is super minimal, as the selection for emojis to brighten up my team chat and engage with my team is vast!

Overall, this software is easy to use even though it has a lot of features. I love its versatility and it fits every need we have in class. I am looking forward to their future developments.

Pros

I love this software since it is easy to use. I've been using this since last year for my online classes. I like that the whole software is organized. Everything is in one place so it's like I'm still in our classroom. Since everything is connected, it is easy for me to finish my assigned tasks.

Cons

The only thing that I don't like about this is the fact that it seems that the Web version (the one that is not downloaded), has only limited features? That, or I can't understand how to use this when not downloaded. I would love for it to be the same as the one in my app in terms of features even if I don't download it since not everyone has space for additional software. Either way, Microsoft Teams still helped me go through my online classes.

Es muy fácil de instalar y de utilizar, amigable y nada de complicado. Lo que más me gusta, es que estás en tiempo real, puede existir distancia física pero esta herramienta hace fácil, concreta e instantanea la comunicación.

Cons

Si bien es cierto, lo que no me puede gustar no está asociado directamente a Teams propiamente tal, porque lógicamente nada funciona bien con una mala señal de internet. Aún así las llamadas telefónicas a través de teams en ocasiones ha sido más exitosa que por celular, pero porque a veces la conexión en obra es inestable en general.

Whether it's an office meeting or online class, it's really useful. You can rely on this app anytime for a scheduled meeting.

Pros

The best feature is video meeting. You can schedule a meeting with anyone at anytime. You can share files also. For academic purposes it's really good.

Cons

Just don't like the voice quality of the calling system. They could improve the voice quality. The video is pretty much perfect.

It was a bit of a hard sell for my team to take on this new software. That wasn't helped by the missing features (to-do lists and calendar support being on the weak side), but once people were sold on using it, we ended up enjoying it. It didn't replace Basecamp though like our IT admin was hoping, so we're paying for both.

Pros

Video chats and text chats work well assuming you are notified. I like how you can use a version in your browser, an app for your computer and an app for your phone. I chose not to have it on my phone though because I don't want to be on call 24/7.

Cons

Teams has some missing features that other communication/team management software have. That makes for a painful transition. Notifications on Mac are spotty at best. At times I feel that my boss assumes I'm not working because I don't get back to him right away. That's because I have to click on the app icon to get my notifications.

Teams has made it easier to work remotely, making chats and calls faster and more accessible. The fact that can be integrated with Outlook has been ideal to organize meetings as addresses can be pulled from the mail. Plus the meetings get added automatically to the calendar.

Pros

Teams is easy to use and offers integration with different programs and apps. Has a lot of built-in features and options available, such as recording meetings, sharing screens. Makes meetings easier.

Cons

Works best with office and Microsoft products. People from outside the organization can only be added if they were invited to the meeting. Hence, you can't add external people on a whim. Also, external people are shown as guests and no other information is provided. Sharing the screen requires a bit of organization, especially if several people need to do so.

I've used Teams as a participant for many meetings large and small. It has a lot of nice features like chat and screen sharing. It runs like you would expect most similar products to run, and has both free and paid versions offering different benefits.

Pros

All versions of Teams have a large participant limit, which is great for larger meetings. If you need more participants in your meetings, you can upgrade by getting a different license.

Cons

I personally like to connect to a meeting long before they start, so that I can hear when it starts and make sure not to forget. However, this feature times out after 30 minutes.

Overall, I am very pleasant with Microsoft Teams. Only as Skype for Business replacement, there are some feature in Skype that is not implemented in Microsoft Teams, such as multi-tab interface.

Pros

I like its integration with other Microsoft Product, such as Office, especially with Microsoft Outlook. With profile and calendar integration, it really helps a lot of time whenever we need to join an online meeting.

Cons

1\. Cannot delete chat history, unless we do a fresh re-installation. 2. Cannot use tab interface like in Skype.

Because Microsoft Teams was included in the package of the Office365 subscription that our company bought. It become a Value Added..

Overall I would say it has been a good experience. I appreciate the changes it made to our team and the ability for me to stay connected. Collaboration has never been higher and I love that new technology is the choice.

Pros

I love the features on Teams. The ability to chat and make chat groups has been huge for my teams. The informal nature has allowed us to keep a semi-normal relationship even when we aren't all working in the same place. I love that the Teams allow a place to easily collaborate a little more professionally and that all files are uploaded to OneDrive to make them editable by all users at the same time. Teams meetings have drastically impacted the way that we collaborate at work. Giving someone a quick video call, sharing your screen, and getting answers right away has been one of the most positive impacts to our productivity in years.

Cons

I appreciate that Teams calls are improving. Zoom had a few features right away that made their video calls superior, but I have appreciated the way Teams has made improvements. The one thing I wish was that there was more notice of updates and changes. I am an early adopter and I want to know the new features right away!

Overall MS Teams and the whole MS Office suite has been a life saver for our organization since COVID began but even before that as we shifted all users away from Skype which was so one dimensional for the most part.

Pros

Microsoft Teams allows us as an organization quickly and painlessly convert to work from home when COVID began. Meetings are more efficient, better documented and related information like files and followups are inherently stored with the record of those meetings. Teams was in the right place at the right time for the world today.

Cons

There are many improvements that could be made in Teams such as how well Planner is integrated for example. Some things can be somewhat complicated and I would like to see more learning modules or Wizards build in and easily accessible, perhaps it could even understand what a user is trying to do and then provide some related documentation or videos when it detects them fumbling around.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Teams

Microsoft is always leading the drive forward to enhance and improve their offerings, and unlike products like SQL which does not seem to have great tiers for smaller companies who cannot pay based on cores for example, Teams had some really decent pricing as part of the Office 365 family of software.

My overall experience with Teams is a positive one, as I use it almost daily; if not for business calls or meetings, it would be for casual chatting with my colleague as the user interface is one of the best I have used so far. The only issue that can be highlighted is the filing system of the program could be much more streamlined.

Pros - Ease of use. - Outlook schedule integration. - Awesome backgrounds for video meetings. - Built with end-user accessibility at mind. - Great connection for video/audio meetings. - Gives clear warnings when connection is lost. - Easy access to screen sharing as well as cursor control (life saver). - The raising hand feature is great as well to keep the meetings structured. - Ability for users to use emotes in large conferences instead of opening the mic. - Better connection stability than most competitors, even with bad internet connections.

Cons

Cons - Confusing filing system. - The files shared on Teams, such as excel files, are not easy to use as most functionality are different on teams than the actual program. - It sometimes could be hard to search for a specific old conversation or a meeting to retrieve a link or a recording. - also creating a new team requires the user to start from scratch every time a new team has to be created, instead of coping a similar structure and editing.

We are able to meet and keep our remote team together with Microsoft Teams and also easily communicate with third party individuals with Microsoft Teams now accessible via the browser so no need for installation of an application.We also can easily schedule interviews and reviews.Collaboration is very easily as well and we have been using Microsoft Teams to create instructional videos

We like most how we are able to keep remote team together and have meetings with everyone at different timezones whether they are stationary, at the office or in transit.Scheduling meetings is easily and synchronize with Outlook's calendar.We are able to screenshare to better collaborate, share documents so persons can see documents in realtime while we discuss a matter.We are able to use Microsoft Teams like a remote access software similar to Team View and this is a great help for third party staff who have IT related issues where we do not install the corporate remote access tool since those devices are personal devices.

Cons

From a technical standpoint we do not like that Teams calendar feature is dependent on Microsoft exchange or Outlook's calendar so this is an issue we have for our users who are not using Microsoft exchange.It would be great if Teams had its own calendar or have the option of using its own.

We choose Microsoft Teams because it was bundled with our Microsoft Office plan which we used primarly for Exchange online, Sharepoint/One Drive features.We tested Microsoft Teams and were satisfied with its performance and understood that Microsoft was committed to constantly improving on it.

peu de point faibles, mais une utilisation optimale du logiciel nécessite un réseau internet très performant dans le cas contraire cela peut ralentir certains échanges peut-être un axe d'amélioration : le développement d'un traducteur pour les échanges en différentes langues qui permettrait de retranscrire à l'écrit ce que notre interlocuteur nous exprime dans une langue différente de la notre.

I thought we would go on with Skype but it is much better than Skype for Business in all aspects

today technology has helped us to be close to people without having to be physically, apart from being cheaper for workers, it allows us all to have a knowledge of technology and Microsoft explains step by step to that you can do it because it gives you all the tools you need to do it and also everything is very well explained

Cons

Sometimes the issue of holding conferences in real time depends a lot on the network, since sometimes the videoconference freezes and becomes a bit robotic and difficult to communicate with.

Pros

I can learn almost anything virtually and therefore have the skills to work anywhere in the world. For example, I recently had a financial wellness webinar where I learned a lot about budgeting, taxes, and more.

Cons

Skype has faced privacy concerns related to data security and encryption so I tend to use other software like Google Meet and Zoom.

Full control over who can join the meeting also and options of 1 click meeting join pays a great role. . Save your documents on SharePoint . . Audio and video conferencing . . You can plan your daily task and mark them as reminder . . No additional cost for Microsoft 365 users.

Cons

. A lot of network lag and sometimes poor audio and video quality. . Few options are confusing for new users should be more user friendly. . Application freeze is often so only option is to terminate and open again .

I use MS Teams on a daily basis. For my team, I have routed all internal communication in it. It allows for a less structured conversation that overall becomes more productive. We make decisions quicker, can give feedback, and assign tasks right from our conversations. Utilizing Tasks has been a culture changing improvement to project management.

Pros

The most impactful was tasks by planner. Managing projects through Teams and it's Tasks app has increased our on-time milestone completion, and closed out projects quicker than we have seen before. Everyone is on the same page and updates are live. Our first project was a warehouse implementation that saw 30% more tasks / milestones completed on-time.

Cons

Long term storage / external upload could be improved. Some apps such as forms or approvals that you may want to use but keep the data long-term, do not have an option to pull that data outside of Teams. The tool itself is functional and useful, but the retention of data is not totally there within the platform.

Pros

The most impactful features of Microsoft Teams in my opinion are the software structure and how information in managed within the platform. The product is easy to use, despite the fact it requires a certain time to get used to its main functionalities. If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, your changes of having a good work integration and getting your information/files shared among the work team on a due basis are very high.

Cons

I feel that Microsoft Teams could reduce the gap between the implementation of new features for macOS users when compared to the updates released for Windows users. Some simple aspects of the product are missing and could make a tremendous difference of all users, specially those with an educational license, such as: 1) the possibility of reusing a group previously (and manually) defined when crating a new assignment. 2) the possibility of listing the students by their first names followed by their family names (when it comes to alphabet order and listing students, not all the schools in the world use the same system as the one implemented in the US).

Overall I have no complaint with this product. I have used all the communication platform either paid or free to use but Microsoft Teams is the best.

The above mention app/software are only good for meetings and i encountered several problems with those apps and I can say you cant used those app daily.
