### "Greatt Team Communication and Web Conferencing Solution"

August 3, 2021

5.0

It has been a great experience using Microsoft Teams. It is a great team communication/ business chatting app as well as a superior web-meeting tool. It is great during our training session and it works perfectly for screen sharing.

Pros

It comes as part of the Microsoft Office Apps and that it is already configured to share content from the other Microsoft Office Suite products. It is nice when working on projects, it keeps the communication going with the team and it keeps everyone on track, and increases the teams' productivity. The video conference is superior with Teams, we use it during training and screen sharing and it is flawless, we have never experienced any service interruptions and it is very easy to use and navigate. It is included with the Office 365 apps which means you do not have to pay extra to use it.

Cons

I do not have much complaints, but the notifications is a little bit lacking. It allows you to do things like creating another group with the same name without notifying you which could create some confusion.

### "A reliable messaging, collaboration and team meeting platform"

September 10, 2022

5.0

We have been using MS Teams on daily basis to interact with our colleagues and stakeholders, collaborates with them, having meetings, sharing data and presentations, taking notes. It is really a blessing to have this product after most of our office shifted to remote work model.

Pros

MS Teams integrates multiple features of other products into a single product, you can not only do chats with your teammates but you can also assign tasks, do video conferencing, arrange meeting, share screen and presentations and take notes. There is pretty much anything which requires a collaboration between colleagues can be done using MS Teams.

Cons

Pricing is little on higher end, MS Team keeps crashing if you are on a VDI desktop, it requires certain specification on your computer to work.

### "Invaluable but overcomplicated product"

October 6, 2022

4.0

I use Microsoft Teams on daily basis to communicate with my teammates and clients. While this product is feature rich and brimming with potential, it is not very intuitive and sometimes leaves me frustrated.

Pros

Microsoft Teams attempts to gather all of the important remote collaboration tools under one umbrella. It makes communication, file sharing, screen sharing and collaboration very easy. Out of the box outlook calendar integration and the ability to request control during presentations are also invaluable features of this product. Audio and video calls are seamless.

Cons

The interface is overcomplicated and feels very "Microsofty". Locating the correct chat or conversation sometimes proves very difficult, especially if one collaborates across multiple teams.

### "A fall from its glory days"

August 11, 2022

4.0

Skype is useful because its free and available on most devices - extremely easy to use and responsive. However, when you want to add more functionality to skype, such as group conference calls, file sharing, screen sharing, and invite links, skype lacks power in these areas. That is because skype is managed by a multi billion empire that doesnt really need its functionality for revenue.

Pros

Skype started out as the first of its kind - the first video conferencing tool, instant messaging tool, and audio calling tool all in one. Skype really paved the way, and has managed to keep up a bit. But their success was their downfall - they didnt innovate, nor did they add features and stability fixes. Microsoft is impossible with tech support. Skype is good for what it is - a simple instant messaging or video call between 2 people. Anything more than that and it is not an efficient tool.

Cons

Skype lacks the ability to invite non skype users to a call. The screen sharing is buggy and low resolution. Calls can drop or not work for a variety of reasons that will never be explained. Tech support is non existent. Audio quality drops drastically when low bandwidth. Skype is doing too many things in the background.

### "The most common meeting platform used in corporate by far!"

July 20, 2021

4.0

Overall experience with Microsoft Teams is quite fine. During Covid-19 pandemic issues and most of the time working from home, this tool is very essential in communicating with colleagues, partners and suppliers.

Pros

Easily used and very user friendly. Commonly used meeting platform for most of MNC companies. Sharing files and recording meeting is just click of few buttons.

Cons

Slow internet connection or meeting with China counterparts will have intermittent internet stability connection issue. Even some same region suppliers will have difficulty to connect to Microsoft Teams for unknown reasons.

### "Improve inner company communication and focus email on external communications"

September 30, 2021

4.0

Previous to using Teams most of our inner company communication was done via email, which lead to the every user have large mailbox sizes. It was this abundance of inner company emails, a lot of times with files attached, that lead to the death of our old Exchange email server and the migration to Exchange 365. Since Teams was included with our Office 365 subscription I made a push to get people to try it out. Once we over came the initial push back our employees started to realize the benefits of having a dedicated program for inner office communication. Eventually this started branching out to utilizing the collaboration and meetings features of the program. Teams has presented us with a cheap solution to many of our company's communication and collaboration issues and the adaption of it has definitely lessened the impact that new working conditions imposed by the pandemic has had on our company.

Pros

The chat feature is a excellent alternative to using email for inner company communication. Text conversations are much more readable than long email chains, and the option to have voice, video, screen sharing and file sharing all in one place has made inner company communication much easier.

Cons

The 'Teams' themselves are not as intuitive as they could be and it has taken longer to get our employees to buy into them as a means of collaboration and communication compared to chat. Looking through old conversations is cumbersome and finding old discussion topics is not as ease as email. While a word search is available it only will display a single message when a result is click without the additional context of surrounding messages. More options for viewing a searching old conversations would be extremely useful. The desktop Teams app uses a lot of RAM, older computers with less than 16GB might struggle to run it and other programs, which defeats the purpose of the application if it is not available all the time.

### "The best remote learning tool Microsoft Teams"

December 4, 2021

4.0

Using Microsoft Teams for all the different technologies in the world is a very good resource for socializing and exchanging organized methods in my view and my experience is one of the best means of remote communication.

Pros

\+ Excellent remote service for communication and learning + More effective for managing a very large audience and for excellent communication. +Keep a record of what happened during and outside the meeting using different strategies

Cons

\- Once a chat is misspelled, it remains in the chat and the messages sent are not deleted. -The poll option during questions should be more personalized among customers. -Some new features may appear in the direction of the long-term vision of virtual reality among people.

### "Communication , Made Easier"

November 9, 2021

5.0

This is something we use ALL THE TIME, and before we were using a competitor(Slack). After switching i could immediately tell the difference in performance and ease of access. Teams is made for TEAMS.

Pros

We use Teams on a daily basis and weekly for group meetings, it brings ease of access for communications and allows us to instantly chat with our team regardless of they're spot on the world. And Allows us to get much faster responses instead of waiting for emails to go back and fourth

Cons

If im being honest, i believe Teams uses alot of proccessing on my pc and if i could change anything i would lighten the load of teams.

### "Need seamless communication channel during meetings? use Microsoft teams."

February 20, 2023

5.0

Pros

In team conferences, we desire seamless communication during the whole meeting, and Microsoft Teams offers this kind of communication. I find the color scheme they selected in the design to be extremely pleasing, and the user interface is really simple to understand. When it comes to functionality, I appreciate how easily calls can be transferred from one device to another using the call transfer feature. In order to give teams more capabilities, it synchronized with Outlook. As a result, you will receive notifications about forthcoming meets and be able to monitor your meetings on a calendar. In comparison to other products available, I prefer Teams.

Cons

I haven't had any major issues with Microsoft Teams up till this time, but if you join a meeting on Windows using a browser or you are using it for the first time, you may experience some issues in joining. High-speed internet is also necessary for a smooth connection. You will experience lagging screen sharing and incoming voice if your network is slow. Teams, though, is a great platform for conference calls overall.

### "Best application for video calling and remote controlling."

April 12, 2022

5.0

Overall Microsoft teams is best application in my perspective. I loved approximately each and every feature.

Pros

The best thing about Microsoft teams as a video conferencing is the audio and video quality. This application do not consume large amount of memory and space which makes it friendly for the developers like myself. Microsoft teams is easily understandable and easy to use software. Teams provide lots of feature which comes handy to the user such as video calling, chats, screen sharing, polls, note making etc. The most facinating thing that I liked in teams is taking remote access to other collegues.

Cons

Microsoft teams sometimes do not update or wrongly update the status. For example, when I am in a call, sometimes it shown to other users that I am away or awailable. The file structures is very confusing and at some point there is unnecessary storage consuption. The swtiching of the call from mobile to PC sometimes is harder. It may happen that the message is not getting sent even if the network is strong and there is no option to try again.

### "Team Up"

June 24, 2021

4.0

Increased communication is an immediate benefit of using Microsoft Teams. My overall experience and impression is positive. Microsoft updates Teams frequently, adding features that users are happy to see.

Pros

Having ability to share content with others in a remote setting makes Teams and impactful product. I like how easy it is for most users to become familiar with the platform in very little time.

Cons

Depending on your bandwidth teams can have some lag. For some, the delay is a source of frustration. Overall the volume of features available to users offsets any shortcomings presented with connectivity.

Pros

What stands out most is the efficient platform in terms of: calendar, images, audios, sharing and activities.

Cons

It could be improved in terms of notifications, individual screen sharing with the possibility of presentations.

### "A professional tool that allows business people to communicate with each other."

October 12, 2022

5.0

A great tool for communication within organisations, that has both increased my flexibility within the team and has allowed for greater collaboration on projects.

Pros

I like how easy it is to organise different teams and create workgroups with people. I also enjoy how easy it is to call people and host video conferences. A very useful thing for me is the ability for teams to integrate 3rd party tools that can automatically write up meeting notes based on discussions. The quality of calls is generally very good, and the portability of the tool (being able to use it easily on your phone) makes it a very useful way of communicating with your team.

Cons

MS Teams is a generally perfect tool however, it could be improved through the ability to communicate with external users. At the moment, the only way to communicate with external users is by setting up a teams channel with them however, it is difficult to contact them via direct message.

### "Experience with MS Teams"

December 21, 2021

5.0

Me and my company using MS Teams for more than 2 years now and it had positive changes, making the product better over time. We had Skype for Business on first, then a migration to O365 made the usage of this product possible. It is also widely used among our customer, makes easier to have a communication with them, we can also form "Teams" from different companies, domain, makes the collaboration more smooth. Its embedded Outlook meeting creator is good feature, also it can be implemented, integrated with other software as well, so it has 3rd party applications to be used. It price I would say really worth the price if you can use its features properly, it work online, work on your mobile devices, just give it a stable network. In the company we used this nearly all of the time. It has a few thing to get improved, like the sound quality, getting to drop a little bit of IT power requirement, getting a better camera quality, being more fast when controlling a participant screen, being able to easily switch between different account/email addresses. I highly recommend everyone MS Teams as I have a better, smoother experience with it, then I had with other programs.

Pros

Starts with Windows, runs on a lot devices, screen sharing with a sound, various chatting features, ability to share links, files, take over the participants screens, record a meeting. Chat history is also a very useful feature. Easier to be set then Webex., outsiders can be called to the meetings quickly.

Cons

Sometimes loads for a time, the sw. takes a lot of space, so consume a big memory portion, searching for a text in the chat history may take time. When you move from one network to another, mostly jumping between VPN, it tends to lose the connection even when you got back to your "home" network and shows you offline, does not send/receive messages.

### "Great software"

October 25, 2022

4.0

Excellent and easy to use, was beneficial during covid and made working from home much easier.

Pros

The process of roll out was easy and users picked it up fast. They now all use it on a daily basis and with many uses using the phone licenses in Teams can also make external calls to those not on Teams, removing the need for another phone system as Teams is much more flexible.

Cons

The call features could do with some work especially for helpdesk scenarios where you can see how many are waiting on the line and which colleague answered what call.

### "Great alternative to Skype for Business"

June 4, 2021

5.0

Teams has been a very valuable tool to use in order to stay in communication and collaborate with others, especially throughout the pandemic. I highly recommend it to IT workers who are geographically dispersed.

Pros

I love that teams allows you to stay in constant easy contact with others you’re collaborating with and works consistently. It might sound silly, but picture and GIF support is great too. Allows for a little fun to be mixed in with your workday. Being able to call and screen share with each other has also been invaluable over the pandemic.

Cons

Teams seems to struggle a bit when you’re connected through a VPN, and sometimes the screen share function can be a little bit inconsistent compared to the rest of the features, but it usually doesn’t take much to get it to work. Also, occasionally it seems like the status of different users gets stuck and doesn’t update as it should.

### "A Productivity Platform for Microsoft Stack"

October 13, 2020

4.0

Over experience with Teams has been good but that may be because I am a Windows Admins, and is familiar with the Office365 stack. For OOBE Teams will do fine, but it does require some oversight, which is not what some chat competitors (Slack) require. However, this only applies to the chat module and not the entire Teams platform.

Pros

For Business use, you generally get MS Teams if you have Microsoft 365 Business Basic or any of the higher plans. Teams is Microsoft's platform solution to collaboration and productivity, which people often mistake it for something else (point solution for 1 requirement: Chat, or conferencing, or calling tool). Teams has received a series of features rollout in 2020 due to the pandemic, and has made it much better from a UX perspective (although still lacking compared to some chat competitors). Depending on your licensing Teams also provide more than just chat/call, including but not limited to Audio Conferencing, Soft Phone (Cloud hosted), Channel Collaborations, file hosting (SharePoint backend), integration with major vendors. If embraced, Teams can become your primary app for day-to-day business producitiy work for regular users. Since MS Teams is the focus for O365, lots of Teams hardware are also being developed which may intrigue more techie end users.

Cons

1\. Licensing may confuse people not familiy with Microsoft SKU. Hopefully you are working with a VAR or MS Licensing Expert to get your started. 2. UX as I mentioned is very poor in some aspects, but have improved considerably last few quarters. 3. File sharing can be improved. Users not familiar with OneDrive/SharePoint will have very messy permission schemes very quickly. 4. Administrators have a tough time managing Teams creation, due to requirements with Office365 Groups. This can only be disabled via PowerShell as of writing this review. 5. Integrations with most apps are very poorly done, and is often detrimental to productivity instead of improving it. This is probably a problem with the MS Teams app than the integration itself.

### "Totally usable for work needs"

October 5, 2021

3.0

It's pretty neutral. I am able to get work done with it, but I don't use it as much as I could.

Pros

It is compatible with the other Office programs I already have to use for work. It seems to hold a lot of storage, ie photos/videos/etc.

Cons

Not super easy to have casual chat, like using gifs. I'm used to using Slack and that was just so much easier to use and navigate. I was forced to use Teams since my organization is already using it part of their Office subscription.

### "The best service for collaborative work"

March 15, 2022

5.0

In my personal opinion, I think it's the best collaborative work tool, because everything is on the same platform, you can implement everything you want, and synchronization with office services is incredible.

Pros

It is an easy-to-use product, with a lot of tools that allow the administrator to have greater control of the tasks. It allows work groups to have greater interaction between them, with the use of videocalls. And it is very useful for the teaching process in schools.

Cons

There are many connection and lag problems, which, together with the high use of RAM, do not allow a great experience on many devices.

### "MS Teams exceeded my expectations"

December 14, 2021

5.0

Microsoft Teams has extra points for being a space full of features for collaboration and communication between teams, facilitating these processes through channels, work themes and specific areas to connect on the same task in real time, from anywhere with access to any device. Compared to other software it has the ability to share files and collaborate on them with a variety of tasks, it also synchronizes with calendars and we can see the availability of people.

Pros

The chat and messaging service is good enough as well as video calls, the performance and quality of audio and video are outstanding. Individual and shared tasks are better coordinated due to channels (The tasks function was an easier process because it connects and integrates seamlessly with the other MS applications, such as Planner, for this activity). Mentions, channel notifications, activity updates, call plan (you can make calls to external clients and even receive them from landlines), integration with Microsoft 365 tools, good online training guides and many other features that give a great advantage to communication and collaboration and why this is one of my favorite work tools, although I have been using it for less than a year and our team also uses other software, it is very likely that we will soon reduce the use of so many platforms, but I am sure that MS Teams is one of the ones that will stay with us.

Cons

The mobile app consumes battery quickly, so my cell phone practically has to be plugged into the charger if I don't want it to shut down suddenly during a meeting, it also takes up a lot of memory. These annoyances are not something that overshadow all the benefits of working with Teams, but I prefer to do it from my laptop.

### "Honest Microsoft Teams Review 2021"

December 23, 2021

5.0

A business problem which Microsoft Teams is solving is having to set up a meeting for projects with teams from different country. Microsoft Teams solved this problem for us by giving us a platform to collaborate with other teams with ease and helped move our project to closure.

Pros

The most impactful feature I would say is the collaboration features and the ease of use of the software is impeccable especially the online version of the software. I'm using Microsoft Teams for my weekly meeting and i have enjoyed the user experience and till now i haven't had any issues or difficulty on any of the features. I would highly recommend Microsoft Teams to anyone looking for a collaborative tool for training or meetings.

Cons

The only downside of the software is that sometimes the invite like is not so prominent in the email meeting invite. Other than that, my experience with Microsoft Teams is nothing but amazing.

### "MS Teams review "

January 19, 2022

5.0

You solve the problem of not having a shared communication platform for the entire company using Microsoft Teams. Messages, a conference room, and file sharing are all included. It's all in one spot now, which wasn't the case before Microsoft Teams. and also since covid 19 we no longer need to work at the office as teams solve that

Pros

I enjoy that I can phone, text, video chat, and so on. Teams are extremely useful for training a class of many agents. I can use Teams on my phone and at work, which is convenient when I need to take a break for lunch. It's also useful for troubleshooting IT issues.

Cons

There's nothing I don't like about Microsoft Teams; it does what I need it to do. The only negative that comes to mind is that when you share your screen during a team meeting, it takes away the main screen where everyone can see you, making it difficult to see who is speaking.
