### "Have many things to improve"

October 28, 2021

3.0

As i said as a meeting app is one of the best because of the features it offer, but for the rest feel pretty rough, as i said it has a lot to improve

Pros

As a video conference app is very good, the quality and overall experience during the meetings is good and the new features like reactions, new presentation modes and the subgroups helps in the class group. The ability to contact anyone in the group you are in is pretty useful to interact with your classmates and also to make new groups. One last thing that i like are the files and homework tabs for each group so you have all that informatión in one place

Cons

The user experience in general is very bad, i don't know really what it is but i don't feel confortable using the software. Another thing is that the notifications are really bad, i have it configured to notify me each message and it never show up when the meetings start. Now i prefer to constantly check so i don't miss it. Also i don't know why i can't control my downloads, and simple things like cancel it or if it is still going. Lastly it would be good that u can delet your chats with other users and the groups you are in and not just hide them.

### "Microsoft Teams"

August 28, 2022

4.0

All communication can be done over a single platform. Email, calls, chats, sharing resources

Pros

The best part about teams is the ease of scheduling team calls and shared resources. One does not need to schedule a meeting, it's a direct call to a co worker, much like working in an office space. For a team that works from multiple locations, Microsoft Teams has been a blessing. Easy to find shared resources as they are categorized by the type of file.

Cons

There are too many features, many of which are not even being used. Size of the shared screen in meetings is too small. The organizer has to give sharing rights to others on a teams call. The mobile and desktop apps are different, and take some time getting used to

### "Teams R us"

March 24, 2022

4.0

Extremely happy with Teams because overall, it allows us to do business as if we were in the office. Really dissinetegrates the feeling of working remotely and keeps our team closer at hand for any tasks that we may need to discuss.

Pros

Loved the virtual background selections for screens on video calling and the alerts are promt. Functionality and usage is really easy, the busy on a call, in a meeting, away or logged out setting is such an important criteria that helps us know when we can and or cannot disturb another team member, and the fact that I can use it on my Android from anywhere does help our team members stay intouch.

Cons

Transcribing voicenotes when I have missed a call, can be improved. Usually the translations of voicenote left in my call log looks like jibberish but on the upside it does allow you to listen to the recording aswel.

Skype was becoming a bit too pricey in relation to the start of the pandemic and we had to make sure were saving costs as many companies were beginning to use Teams as their means of communication to. This made the efforts worthwhile using eversince.

### "Microft Tems, Excellent Choice"

October 24, 2021

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Teams has been an excellent one. It works great for in office communications so you don't always have to keep getting up to talk or communication with coworkers. It also comes in handy when you need to speak with someone in our warehouse, which is in another town.

Pros

The product is very easy to use and definitely worth everyone dollar to get it for your office. There are so many things that you can use it for. I have only used it for certain thins and looking forward to learn about everything else it can be used for. I haven't found anything I don't like about it so far.

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like about it yet.

### "Teams Software review"

October 14, 2022

5.0

it was the part of organization's stratergy to go digital, and using all-in-one collaboration tools and the team is the great application to bring that sort of change in organization and make it much more agile.

Pros

its all in one feature you can write to your colleague, make calls, share files, hold the meeting, and training, work simultaneously on the proposal, shows real-time changes, etc.

Cons

since I am working remotely after a few seconds the software shows me away, this is the only feature I hate. I want to be shown online always, as this will impact my working hours. as I might be working on some other things in the background the software shows my status as away. I need this to change.

### "The meeting room where we can sit around a virtual table"

July 26, 2021

4.0

Tems is the toll used by my corporate clients for training and meetings, so I managed to teach classes and attend meetings. When the host is a "Teams-expert" everything happens as expected and we can manage questions, share screen and files and record the event. But it is not easy to learn how to navigate with Teams and the learning process is frustrating

Pros

I liked very much when I could easily install the tool and join the meeting. To be able of recording the meetings and classes is also a great added value to the experience.

Cons

The learning curve is long and frustrating, it takes a long time to find how to manage the features. It seems we need a training to understand how to share screens, share files and do many other simple activities that the tool has for us. I have to admit that my learning process with Zoom was almost intuitive.

### "Makes remote work easy "

June 22, 2022

4.0

Overall it’s been good, very few calls dropped and easy to quickly setup meetings with teammates and share data, really it’s easier to do that then in the past walking over to someone’s cube to work, at least for the most part. Some things can’t replace being together physically but Ihave found that instead of just losing benefits of physically meeting it’s more of a tradeoff where you gain more than you lose when working remote

Pros

One program that does everything you need for remote work. Works cross platform and on mobile devices. Easy to use how you want to work, weither it’s texting chat, send images, share screens, join meetings see peoples availability. It has allowed me to fully work at home with little change from an office environment

Cons

The wiki needed a lot of attention, needed better control for searching for data and a better hierarchy for organizing the pages.

### "Microsoft TEAMS - A best document collaboration with distributed team"

November 10, 2021

Overall Microsoft team is one of best best team collaboration tool for meeting , document or project repository and concurrent updates on the same document .

Pros

Microsoft trans is one of the best document repository and collaboration tool where multi users can work on same document concurrently . In the current remote working culture with distributed team structure Teams really help organization to work collaboratively through team meeting , video conferencing , screens sharing with distributed geo diverse tram members across the world .

Cons

Sometime Teams just crash and needed to restart in the mid of document updates or in a meeting . I believe it is still consume heavy underlying resources like memory and that’s why it may freeze or crash .

### "Quintessential Team Collaboration tool for enterprise."

June 20, 2021

5.0

Amidst the pandemic era, Microsoft Teams ensure that you are well connected with your team even if you are 1000 miles away from office. This powerful tool helps you to stay organized and to collaborate effectively with your colleagues

Pros

Integration with Office 365, since Teams is a Microsoft product, it integrates smoothly with office 365 software like PowerPoint Word Outlook and Excel. Customizable notifications, if you are a member of a number of active channels you may get frequent and this can be distracting. This is where you can customize notifications to your preference. Whiteboard as the name suggests it is a virtual whiteboard which allows participants of a meeting to write, sketch and draw to share valuable information. Creating a colorful pie chart on a whiteboard is something I enjoy doing. Ability to change your background in meetings. One of the best features considering most of us are working from home. You can use the background of your choice or the ones available within the app. I believe meeting recap is a great feature which helps participants of a meeting to later review the important points discussed after the meeting is over.

Cons

The user interface can be overwhelming for a new user and you may require the assistance of your IT team to set it up for the first time.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Teams

Data security and the fact that teams seamlessly integrates with other Microsoft apps that are frequently used in a business.

### ""Teams" makes business communication simple & effective."

November 8, 2021

5.0

My overall Microsoft Teams experience has been fantastic. My entire team and I use teams on a daily basis for business communication, and we also share a lot of files. It runs without a hitch, and we haven't had any issues with it. We also had to take a lot of online meetings and conferences in this situation, and the teams did a fantastic job. So far, Teams has been our best and most favorite companion, and we hope that will continue.

Pros

Microsoft Teams is one of the best audio and video conferencing tools available, and it's no surprise that it's on my list of favorites. I've been using it to communicate with my team and clients from anywhere for quite some time now. It works with cross platforms and can be accessed from any device. Teams is so quick and accurate that is doesn't confuse new users. Even if it's from the cloud, file sharing from external file managers is simple and easy. Group management is also as effective and accurate as I'd like. For the past few years, my organization and I have been using it without issue, and we will continue to do so.

Cons

I haven't found any major issues with Microsoft Teams in my usage, it's smooth and flawless, but it does require a lot of bandwidth for video conferencing and better audio quality, but that's not a bug! Teams has excellent text message and file sharing capabilities for both groups and individuals. We hope to see more improvements from teams in the near future, and we wish them luck. I adore teams.

### "Work From Home Requirement"

June 3, 2021

we implemented Teams one month before COVID forced us to work from home. Teams allowed us to remain profitable and productive amidst a global pandemic.

Pros

### "TEAMS become the most important software we use"

July 30, 2021

4.0

I use TEAMS every day and become part of my remote working life. I got used to it easily and learned without much effort since the software is really intuitive and user friendly.

Pros

The system is most brilliant for communication and collaborative work, organizing meetings where screens are shared, presentations showed. Its integration with Outlook and office is perfect and so it is blended into the MS Office system. Certainly, TEAMS become the No.1. tool for remote working.

Cons

Slightly annoying that during the presentation when your screen is shared the presenter cannot see the audience's reaction (hands raised or messages posted) unless working with multiple screens.

### "Teams - collaborative but behind the times in functionality and usability"

November 18, 2021

3.0

We deployed Teams to get rid our of traditional phone lines - and as added perks it also does video conferencing, team chats and integrates well with Office 365. The premise is fantastic, however the quality is lacking from a company like Microsoft. The VoIP often has glitches and isn't perfect with dropped calls, voice quality issues, etc. and the video conferencing is definitely not up to the level of Zoom and some other products. Realizing this is an all-in-one software and isn't only for video meetings we have put up with the glitches but it would be nice if Microsoft could but some more R&D behind it to get it to the level needed to compete.

Pros

It integrates really well with Office 365 - and Outlook email - our two most used products. It works as it should and is relatively easy to use with multiple functions - i.e. VoIP, video conferencing, team chats, etc.

Cons

It is difficult to deploy in environments, it is not a robust as other products out there and it is relatively a new comer in the VoIP space so it does have a lot of technical glitches and errors - i.e. doesn't ring when called, voice quality is often subpar, etc.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft Teams

Integration with Office 365 Pricing - while on the higher range - was reasonable and this software provided a 'catch-all' solution for all we needed to move to the cloud.

### "Skype is still good but needs improvement"

April 19, 2022

4.0

Old school Skype user, at least 11 years, so I have been the evolution of the platform. Of course after the pandemic, Zoom is the app who took the leadership of video conferencing , and Skype has been relegated. Video recordings are difficult to start / stop and the quality is very bad. I used to use a software called Skype Call Recorder by a third party company but latest updates cut the compatibility. Not being able to record a call makes you think twice about using Skype or another platform. There is a stigma attached to Skype since it was bought by Microsoft. Users feel that their priority is to develop Teams, so they don't feel confident enough of the quality and stability of the platform, and that affects the decision to buy a plan or the whole 365 Office subscription.

Pros

Old school video conference software. The brand itself it's easy to identify for old generations and make it easy for them to relate the brand with online video call and video conferencing. Since I have an old account, I still have the option to make a meeting with several users for an unlimited time. The NDI integration is great if you want to bring a Skype interview to streaming platforms like Ecamm or OBS, however, it takes a lot of resources, so you better have a good computer to handle all that.

Cons

After the pandemic hit, Zoom took the leadership by offering a lighter, resources friendly and more reliable platform with better results in terms of video quality and stability. I don't feel that Skype evolved successfully in this new era by not adapting their product to the new needs and demands.

### "Good enough, but not Great"

December 30, 2021

4.0

Good enough, but not great, especially if you have used other communicators. UX is light years behind the competition. The only 2 reasons to use MS Teams are pricing (included in MS Office), and the integration with other MS Office products.

Pros

Very good integration with Outlook and MS Calendar. Good switching between desktop and mobile during a meeting. Useful notifications / reminders when a meeting starts.

Cons

Alwful UI and UX, unintuitive UI, non-productiv shortcuts, not very configurable, not good default settings. Linux app is not on par. Search functionality is not very good. Has bugs - sometimes loses message history, not synchronizing b/n desktop and mobile apps, not showing the correct status, not sending notifications on time, etc. Missing some important functionality - like push to talk during a meeting, or good annotations. Some functionalities are not developed properly - for example integration with MS Forms is pretty bad. Comes short when compared to the competition like Slack.

### "Teams - Simple yet Powerful !"

September 9, 2021

I have been using this for the past 4 years. My favorite collaboration application would be the Teams. It's one level above skype application, in terms of ease of use. Its more intuitive, powerful and easy to handle. It has all the feature needed to use and manage a team/organization.

Pros

The UI color balance. It's more professional and intuitive. I would say, it's the best for office use. It overtook skype in the market and it comes with the microsoft suite, which is an added advantage.

### "Microsoft Teams Review"

November 23, 2021

5.0

Microsoft Teams has a board in which it is possible to add different tabs with applications external to the platform that can be useful for the purposes of a project. In this sense, the freedom offered by the platform is great. Thus, for example, you can add a Trello task list, integrate an Excel table, a Word document, etc.

Pros

1\. What I like is the ease with which I can use it since I use it for work meetings, conferences, etc. It helps me to communicate with people that I cannot meet in person and communication with them is very good, it is as if we were face to face. Microsoft Teams is well integrated with MS Office, a feature that makes it easy to share documents and work. 2. As far as communication is concerned, Teams offer options that other programs do not and that adds a lot of value. One of the options is to connect to other applications, without leaving it. It is really practical, if you are in a meeting, you share a document and everyone can see it within Teams. 3. The ease of use. I like that from Outlook, one can initiate a meeting automatically and the link of the session is generated. 4. The unlimited number of users and its functionality. It is very fast in delivering messages and meetings can be run optimally. 5. Teams is well integrated with MS Office, a feature that makes it easy to share documents and work. -

Cons

1\. That you need an email account with Outlook. Only if it allowed accounts from other mail servers it would be more convenient. But we understand that it is a Microsoft product. 2. Delays in connection on some occasions complicates punctuality.

### "Great Tool to collaborate within Microsoft Ecosystem"

January 12, 2023

4.0

Overall, this tool allows me to do what I need to. I just with the UX was a bit better and closer to that of Zoom. Not exactly like Zoom but have the device sharing compatability that Zoom offers its users. However, this is still a great and powerful tool for global team collaboration.

Pros

I like the ability to have video, screen sharing, messaging, file sharing, and video recording. These are key functions of my daily job. As a project manager of my customers/clients being able to share my screen to teach them is high on my priority list. This has to work in order to give my customers a great customer experience when being trained.

Cons

I feel that an area of opportunity is the ability to share or cast a different screen from an iPhone, iPad, Android, Tablet, etc. This needs to be improved and be much easier for the end user to be able to share multiple screens that may not be attached to their computer screen.
