Overall Microsoft Teams is okay. Once I figured out how to customise and sort my Teams and chats it is okay to use.

Pros

I have found Microsoft Teams to be good for project management. Getting the team set-up for easy collaboration, communication and online meetings.

Cons

Microsoft Teams can be confusing at times to locate the Team or chat you are looking for. Just when I think I've figured things out an update happens and changes things.

Overall I have had an outstanding experience with teams. The ability to connect instantly with coworkers as a teams and individual level make it a no brainer for me to continue to pay for the service. No more missed meetings, or late arrivals when everyone is updated prior to with the built in calendar feature. 10 out of 10

Pros

The ability to instantly communicate between the whole team, or even just an individual team member. Very easy to use, and customize chats instantly. Collaborating with the teams and managing projects collectively is extremely convenient. Value outweighs the cost. Support on the customer level is second to none.

Cons

The biggest draw back I could see with teams was due to the size of my company originally. As my team grew it was able to be utilized the way it was intended.

Overall, I like Teams quite a bit. It's easy to use and easy to reach out or call someone, especially to see when they're available.

Pros

Using this to communicate within our team where the majority of us are fully remote has made such a difference in productivity.

Cons

Sometimes, having the status icon change that allows us to be "monitored" is a bummer and there's no way to change the timeout with when it changes.

Overall it makes day to day work easier because everything is in one place at work. We run standups, client calls and quick huddles without jumping between tools. There are annoyances performance, noisy notifications and mobile quirks but nothing fatal. When it works it speeds up collaboration and reduces email clutter, which I like a lot. I still rely on a few other tools for heavy project tracking, but Teams covers most needs. Would recommend for teams that want a single hub, just expect some setup and learning.

Pros

I use Teams at work every day and it keeps chats, calls and meetings in one place. Channels make it easy to keep project conversations together so I dont lose context. Video calls are stable most of the time and screen sharing usually works without drama. File sharing with OneDrive links is handy, no more emailing big attachments back and forth. Integrations with calendars and other apps save me time when scheduling and following up. Search finds messages and files quickly so I can grab past info without digging forever.

Cons

The app can feel heavy and slow on older laptops, it sometimes lags when switching channels. Notifications get noisy if people post a lot, and muting channels is not always obvious. Mobile app misses some desktop features and the layout can be confusing at times. Setting up permissions and private channels took a few tries and some help from IT. Calls sometimes drop or audio glitches happen on bad networks, needs manual fixes. Customizing tabs and apps is useful but also a bit fiddly and inconsistent across teams.

Been using this platform for long time and except the issue of logging out if not using the app since long time, I could say that is great due to the option of customization.

Pros

This app is a great platform for internal team communication as well as external. Easy to use and great customization options.

Cons

A big cons about Microsoft Teams is that when the app logs you off it is a nightmare to log in again, especially if you have multiple email addresses linked to the app.

Overall, Microsoft Teams is a capable collaboration tool with strong productivity features, but its performance and usability issues limit its effectiveness. While the integration with Microsoft 365 and the breadth of communication tools are clear advantages, the inconsistent responsiveness and cluttered interface create friction in daily use. It remains a useful platform, but one that would benefit from improved speed, reliability, and navigation.

Pros

Microsoft Teams provides a centralized platform for messaging, meetings, and document collaboration, which helps streamline communication across distributed teams. Its integration with Microsoft 365 is a major strength, allowing users to access shared files easily and work together in real time. Features like screen sharing, meeting recordings, and live captions add meaningful value to day‑to‑day collaboration.

Cons

The platform can feel slow and cumbersome, particularly when switching between chats, channels, and meetings. Notifications are sometimes inconsistent, making it easy to miss updates unless you manually check each thread. As teams and channels multiply, the interface becomes harder to navigate, and managing permissions or locating older conversations can be more time‑consuming than expected.
