It is a great tool for running a small business. Pros You can email the invoices to customers instantly for requesting payment, or as a form of reciept. The invoice system is simple to understand and finding products is easy as well- so long as you know exactly what you are looking for. Cons Returns/refunds are confusing and writing stock off for store use is also a little difficult, as you need to open two tabs and search each item individually for their cost. Cons Having only one person able to receive a code for logging in. Two of us use the account and when one gets logged out, the other has to get a code to log in. Lorsque je suis revenu en affaire j'ai évalué les différentes options et avait choisi d'essayer quickbooks. Mais après quelques mois, celui-ci ne me satisfaisait absolument, j'ai donc décide de me tourner vers Sage a nouveau, et je ne suis vraiment pas déçu. Cons Honnêtement il n'y a pas d'aspects que je n'apprécie pas, il est facile de trouver réponse à nos questions. It is nice to be able to access the program by logging in anywhere, create professional invoices, and easily keep track of the financial details of our business. Pros One of my favorite features of Sage Accounting is the format for invoicing. It is organized and neat. Cons I use the online Sage Accounting service. My only issue is that it processes a bit slow. When I am entering many items, one after another, it would be nice if the system was quicker. Je ne peux pas le comparer à d'autres logiciels comptables puisque c'est le premier que j'utilise. Quoi qu'il en soit, celui-ci convient très bien aux besoins de notre organisme et aux quelques opérations comptables que nous avons à enregistrer. Donc vous l'avez compris , je n'utilise pas le logiciel à son plein potentiel mais je vais le découvrir au fur et à mesure de nos nouveaux besoins. Pros Le fonctionnement du logiciel est facile à comprendre et je peux aisément passer mes différentes écritures comptables. Je retrouve facilement les informations que je rechercher. Au début je cliquais sur un peu tous les onglets mais maintenant c'est beaucoup plus rapide. Le prix est aussi intéressant pour notre organisme. Le soutien client est bon également. Je n'attends jamais bien longtemps avant de communiquer avec quelqu'un. Cons AU début de son utilisation, il y avait des confusions par rapport à des comptes de banque. C'est seulement parce que nous n'avions pas rentrés les bonnes informations dans le plan comptable. Autre point négatif, le temps de validation d'une opération est un peu long. Il arrive quand je suis pour valider une opération, que le système me dise que je ne peux pas faire cette opération alors que je viens d'en valider une du même type. Dans ce cas, je sors complètement de l'opération que je voulais enregistrer et je repars du début et bien souvent ça fonctionne à la deuxième tentative. Review Source LC Linda C. The customer support has been great when needed and the value for the money spent has exceeded my expectations. Pros The ease of filing GST and maintaining the books online. It is easy for several people to access the information anywhere and at the same time. It is easy to invoice customers as well as pay vendors. Cons Financial reporting can be a bit difficult at times depending on the information you are trying to extract. The desktop version is possibly better. Pros I found it worked fairly well for keeping track of expenses, although it was a time consuming process to match everything up and reconcile. We had quick access to our customer data base. Cons I did not like sage online. I feel there could be many improvements made. It had a very difficult time working with my bank uploading transaction. Often times there would be many missing and id have to input them manually. I do not like that when I cancelled I could not download a usable file to save for tax purposes later, nor download a usable customer list. Also, in the app it would constantly sign out our guys in the field so everytime they wanted to write up an invoice on site they would have to log back in. Just not user friendly. November 4, 2025 2.0 Honestly, wish you'd find a way to take Sage 50 and just make it cloud based. I love Sage 50. Sage Accounting is far too limited in functionality. It's leagues behind Xero and QBO - I hate QBO personally. Pros I like that my customers can do their own invoicing through Sage Accounting & I can pull the data in to Sage 50. Cons The inability to give multiple users permissions to use the app. The inability to adjust tax codes for my own use. The inability to issue receipts - come on - why is this still an issue? Should have been included with the first release and we've been asking for this functionality forever. The inability to adjust invoices beyond the templates. Limited apps for integration. I believe all the steps needed when to enter hourly employees bi-weekly hours is a little to many steps and double checks needed. You do get used to it, but it's to many steps every time. Pros The Cloud based approach was the selling point for me. I am a retired accountant who used Accpac Accounting modules. This product is a basic system that works for the seniors' activity centre where I volunteer as Treasurer and board member. I needed a system that others could access if they needed to, although in general, they do not, but you never know. The cloud based system allows me to work from home. Pros Le fait qu'une aide à la clientèle soit disponible sur le chat pour nous aider à valider les fonctionnalités ; le fait que la plateforme soit en français ; l'apparence générale des onglets. Cons La quasi-impossibilité de corriger des erreurs, y dans le journal de corrections. La difficulté de la mise en route et l'impossibilité complète d'importer nos données malgré qu'il est bien affiché le contraire et que nous utilisions les gabarits fournis par Sage. J'ai envoyé nos données à des techniciens qui n'ont pas été capables non plus d'importer le tout. Les comptes bancaires et de carte de crédit se désynchronise sans arrêt. Et tout est affiché en euro ! J'ai embauché quelqu'un qui travaille avec Sage 50 depuis des années, et qui est incapable de comprendre comment utiliser Sage Comptabilité. I find Sage perfect for the smaller side business - just enough accounting capabilities to not be confusing. Pros Ease of use and learning tools. The invoicing tool works well for what I am using. We are a charity and appreciate the discounted fees very much. Cons It keeps dropping my bank feed. I found the bank reconciliation a bit difficult with the dates. Do not like that if you approve a bank transaction in the banking feed past the end of the month when you do the reconciliation ending prior it will not allow it. It works really well for the small amount of entries for both companies. I also like the quick switching from one company to the other, no more waiting for the backup to finish and then opening another company. Pros This Sage Cloud account gave me a more affordable alternative to the full program that I use at the office. Cons Finding an understandable and accurate Income Statement. I am still navigating the reports and they are not labeled like the full Sage program I use at work.
