It balances good user experience with price point. Pros Sage has made my accounting much easier! I find it's a good value for my money. I love the easy reports that make me more informed on where my business money is going. I love that it's all on the cloud so I can access it on multiple devices/locations. Cons I feel like the customer support could be improved, it's hard to speak with a human and takes a while to get the line. It would be nice to have edit capabilities to change dates of payment received, and reporting needs to be expanded to include sub-categories so that the parent/child relationship can be reported on and filtered once exported. Pros As a beginner, the UI is easy to navigate and the help feature is intuitive when a process isn't clear. Cons When deleting an invoice, there should be a prompt to delete corresponding payment so you don't end up with duplicate entries. Sage Accounting lets us do it. Pros Sage Accounting made keeping track of my client's expenses much easier. I was able to familiarise myself cery quickly and use SA to do my job. Cons My client isnasking me for a final report on all the categories he's given me. Set up was fairly simple and bank transactions are easy to do. When I have chatted with a real person, they were no more helpful than the chatbot. Pros Its easy to post transactions from the bank. Its easy to customize the Chart of Accounts. Its easy to make corrections. Cons The chatbot is not helpful. There is very limited reporting and the Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet are not customizable. The training and help materials are limited. They tell you how to click to complete a task, but they don't. I haven't been able to figure out the taxes, but I can work around it manually, with some inconvenience. My accountant sold me on sage and it’s cost me more than advertised. Even the beginning link was difficult and confusing to get set up. Pros Nothing yet. I have not been able to access any information. The invoice portion of your product is lacking so many features, it’s frustrating to use. Cons I have not been able to access any information. I can’t see what my accountant has input into the program. I can’t make any changes to the invoice portion. I am not an accountant and have had no issues with retrieving information once inputted. Does tax returns easily. Cons Trying to change information once it’s been reconciled. Overall, the experience has been somewhat frustrating. The reporting features don’t feel as intuitive as QBO, which makes it harder to get the information I need quickly. On top of that, the two-factor authentication adds extra steps that make the process feel slower and less efficient. While it works, it hasn’t felt smooth or user-friendly compared to what I’m accustomed to. Pros Since the platform is entirely online, it allows multiple users to access the same space at once, making it easy to share ideas, update documents in real time, and work together seamlessly from different locations.” Cons I find pulling reports in this system quite awkward and not as intuitive as what I’m used to with QBO. Many built-in functions not used by my company. Cons Constant crashes and re-starts. If you can get through a day without a dozen re-starts, consider yourself fortunate. Very irritating!
