Our Organization uses Apptoto to send our clients voice and text reminders for their appointments. Their API is easy to use and they have great documentation so our developers can implement our automation requirements where needed. We have been using Apptoto for about 1.5 years now and we are satisfied with the tool and the customer service the staff at Apptoto provides. There have been instances where there were bugs that we found and when we reached out regarding the issues, the team responded right away. For crucial bugs such as one that prevented our clients from receiving their appointments, Apptoto staff would prioritize fixing the issue and it would be resolved on the same day. This happened once in the 1.5 years that we used the software. In our experience, Apptoto's server is almost always up and ready to receive the daily API requests of client reminders that we send out. We have also sent in requests for additional features or UI changes to simplify the tool for our staff and the Apptoto dev was able to work with us to make the changes we need. These requests may take a little longer to get fulfilled and sometimes we would need to reach out and ask for an update but the request would get completed eventually. We never get the sense that the team was avoiding or ignoring us but rather that they are busy (like most company) but they are also weighing each requests and how it affects other Organizations that are also using the tool. A little diligence on our end to keep the communication going is what we needed to get our request fulfilled which we are fine with maintaining. \[sensitive content hidden\] is the developer we communicate with frequently and he has been helpful in working through our requests, asking questions, and understanding why we need certain features and changes. \[sensitive content hidden\] is our account manager and she is also helpful and responsive with answering contract and billing related questions. We have worked with \[sensitive content hidden\] before to renegotiate our contract and rates, especially when we needed to scale up the amount of texts we send out and she has been helpful in working with us to get fair pricing. Pros

Apptoto's API is very easy to use if your company has a developer that can implement the features. They have great documentation. Their team is also responsive when you have questions, feature requests, or bugs to report. Their server is stable and our clients receives their appointment reminders 99% of the time. Usually, if the client did not receive a reminder, it is a result of something the client did like replying STOP to the texts. Sometimes it could be a carrier issue but these issues are usually not at the fault of Apptoto

Cons

For the most part, we are happy with what Apptoto has done for us. When we first started using the software, there were some features that were not available. But the team was able to implement these features quickly, sometimes we were not even aware that they were working on it until they demo'd the feature to us. After 1.5 years of working with their software, we feel we are in a good spot where Apptoto can do everything that we need it to do for our company. The features that we have requested over the years are fulfilled to our company's satisfaction

### "An essential for business "

Pros

Apptoto is frankly amazing, it does everything I need it to and then some. It is extremely customizable and versatile. Their support is also amazing, anything I needed they would have to me in at most thirty minutes. They even wrote a custom bit of code to help with a specific issue I was having. Apptoto has made getting appointment confirmations so much easier. What was a process that took most of the day, Apptoto does in about a half hour. On top of that Apptoto is HIPPA complaint, which is essentially for a pediatric therapy clinic

Cons

The only downside Apptoto really has is the algorithm that automatically matches contacts struggles sometimes with names with special characters or more than two capital letters.

Our experience with Apptoto is very well. Great product and wonderful service team. Very user friendly.

Pros

We have been with Apptoto for several years now and it works well for our Tax & Accounting Client appointments. This is a great product for appointment reminders from several different calendars. It is a great way to remind clients via text messages, phone calls, and emails. When we call into service for help our contact Jessica always call me back as soon as possible.

Cons

Cons are in my opinion user errors. If you don't enter correctly then it won't function correctly.

Pros

It works! Keeps appointments automated so parents bring their students in for their free assessment to Mathnasium of Tempe.

Can be a bit of overload for families with packed schedules.

Pros

Cons

Sometimes can take a while to respond to our initial chat. Once we have connected, things are usually quickly taken care of. Some of the other agents not as knowledgeable as \[sensitive content hidden\]

Pros

It's really been good at reminding clients when they have a meeting. There are a lot fewer no-shows. Also, as an attorney, it's been a good tool for notifying clients when they have to be in court.

### "Wish I had switched sooner "

I was hesitant to change from the service I was previously using but Apptoto is much more robust and I am very happy I switched. They have really helped me customize the features that I needed most.

Pros

It integrates with my EHR software to automate most features.

Cons

It wasn’t working well for my reviews but with some help from their awesome customer service team, we now have those back up and running!

### "Apptoto - A good starting point to automation"

We don't use the product any longer but I'm glad that we got started with Apptoto. I am now fairly confident in setting up any product our firm decides to use. We only stopped using Apptoto because we were able to consolidate apps and use one vendor instead of 2 for the same cost.

Pros

I loved the scheduling reminders that you could set up with different prompts but setting it up was a disaster.

Cons

Absolutely the set up. It took days and days and we had to troubleshoot everything multiple times. Any time one thing was changed the system would flip out so we were constantly stressed that if we changed something simple it wouldn't operate correctly.

Reason for choosing Apptoto

We merged with a firm that was already using Apptoto. When we un-merged the firms we decided to keep Apptoto. We used it for several years before switching.

I can never be without the ability to bug my clients. They love it. I love it. Its a win-win. The automations and campaigns are amazing and I just can't get enough of the reports that let me know where business is slow and where it needs to be worked on. Cons

I have not had any issues using Apptoto. Any issues that may arise were result of user-error, but that is the fun in learning such an intuitive application!

I've been using Apptoto for years and can't imagine my business without them. Apptoto is extremely reliable. Truly a "set it and forget it" tool.

Pros

You can fine-tune reminders to meet your wildest needs. From different time zones to different services, they can do it all. Reminders get sent out 99.9% of the time.

Cons

I would say the user interface could improve but that is always the case with every SAAS I've used. I've seen slight yet useful improvements as the months/years go by so I can't complain. They're keeping costs down and still managing to make improvements, kudos! At the end of the day, I hired them to deliver my reminders (and handle my booking pages) - and they do that like no other company in this space.

My clients are able to schedule appointments on line- an added bonus I was not initially aware of - and my clients get reminders 3 days, 24 hours and 3 hours prior to their appointment.

Pros

I love it that it can confirm appointments for my clients on the spot and sends reminders of the appointments. No more, "I didn't know" excuses.

Cons

Could improve on multi-language options - I use Spanish primarily so that would be a plus.

Multiple booking pages so I can separate our offerings into dedicated pages. Ability to charge for appointments. Campaign features to drum up more business. No restrictions on fulfilling my agencies needs with the features of the software. Great relationship with the support team and help desk.

Pros

Ease of use, excellent value for the money, feature rich which allows it to expandable far beyond a basic booking engine and amazing support to boot.

Cons

The embed code generator had a glitch and was leaving out the S in https:// however this is actually a pro not a con because their support team jumped right on it and corrected it. Now that's a great team.

Their customer service team is very helpful whether it be on the phone or online.

Pros

With a few clicks of a button we're able to remind clients, prospective clients, etc. about their upcoming meetings. Numerous options and variables at your fingertips. It has helped cut down on forgotten meetings or prompted reschedule requests.

Cons

Because there are so many different options to set up it can be a little overwhelming. But their customer service is very accessible and helpful.
