### "Freelo: Easy communication, clear task tracking, and smooth project management"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Freelo has been very positive. It has helped me bring structure and clarity into both my work and personal projects, which used to feel quite scattered before. I especially value how easy it is to use and how quickly I was able to get started without any training. It allows me to manage multiple projects at once, stay on top of tasks, and keep communication in one place. This has made my work on larger projects, including those for nonprofits, much more efficient. What I appreciate the most is the sense of control and overview it gives me. Instead of constantly searching for information or worrying that I might miss something, I can rely on one system and focus on getting things done.

Pros

What I appreciate most about Freelo is how well it keeps everything organized when collaborating with others. It’s very easy to see who is responsible for each task, and the clear status updates (in progress vs. completed) make the whole process much more transparent. I also like that it significantly reduces the need for constant email communication. Since everything is in one place, there’s less risk of missing important information or making mistakes because something got lost in an inbox.

Cons

If I had to point out one thing that could be improved, it would be the homepage layout. I’d personally prefer a more visual, tile-based overview of projects so I can quickly get a sense of everything at a glance. The filtering system is really solid and flexible, and I understand why it works well for many users. For me, though, a more “helicopter view” would be more helpful – something like a dashboard where I can see multiple projects and their key tasks without needing to set up filters first. When I’m managing several projects at once, I sometimes miss that high-level overview that helps me stay fully oriented. A more visual and summary-focused dashboard would make the experience even smoother for me.

### "Keeping Our Sports Club Organized with Freelo"

June 3, 2026

5.0

We have been using Freelo in our sports club for two months. Our main goal is to make sure that no task is forgotten. Since we manage the club on a voluntary basis alongside our regular jobs, it is important for us to organize tasks, assign responsibility, and keep track of deadlines. At the moment, we especially appreciate the templates and recurring tasks. They help us standardize routine activities and manage regular monthly operations more efficiently. So far, Freelo has been working well for us. However, two months is still a relatively short period of time to make an overall judgment.

Pros

Freelo is easy to set up and use, even for non-technical users. It helps us organize all the tasks in our sports club and assign responsibility for them. We use it to organize tasks into projects and to-do lists. For managing recurring processes, recurring tasks and templates work perfectly.

Cons

Freelo offers a wide range of ways to organize projects, to-do lists, tasks, subtasks, and checklists. However, for inexperienced users, or for those who do not want to spend too much time learning the system, this flexibility can be a bit confusing at first.

Reason for choosing Freelo

Simply put, Freelo is a Czech product, and we are a Czech sports club. We prefer to support local products when they meet our needs.

### "A smart and intuitive assistant for managing projects"

February 5, 2026

4.0

Freelo helps us keep all the necessary tasks in one place. Thanks to it, we can also lead discussions directly on specific tasks, so everything stays clear and we don’t have to search for information in long email threads. In emails, it’s easy to make a mistake—for example, replying to only one recipient instead of the whole original group. And thanks to the ability to insert links or images directly into the discussion, the information you really need is clearly displayed for a specific task. Freelo helps us be more organized, keep track of tasks, user responsibilities, and important deadlines. Also, thanks to the reporting options, we can calculate how much a task or activity will cost us financially and assess whether it’s beneficial for us.

Pros

I like that I can have a clear list of all tasks in one place with deadlines and possible priority. At the same time, notifications remind me of upcoming task deadlines. And I like the simplicity of use, it's intuitive. I like the customer support, both communication with support and the Help page, where I find most of my questions and I really only solve more difficult cases with support.

Cons

I don’t like that it isn’t possible to show even the lowest-level tasks (checklist items) on the dashboard, so the person responsible has to keep them in their head. I also don’t like that there’s no option to set an hourly rate per user. Instead, it has to be set separately for each project, or you have to switch to the more expensive Business tariff. While I like the ease of using Freelo on a computer, I struggle a bit with the mobile app, but I guess it's just a matter of habit.

### "A helpful tool for projects management "

March 20, 2026

4.0

Freelo is a useful project management tool that helps keep tasks and communication organized in one place. Freelo offers practical features for planning and tracking team work, which can make day-to-day organization easier. It’s especially appreciated by those looking for a more structured approach to project management.

Pros

tasks overview, hierarchy, "done" button, communication with team members at the task, direct links to the documents

Cons

It could have more under to-do-lists and easier dashboard - we do not need so many functions. :-) However, there were news from Freelo and I have not read them all yet.

### "Simple and easy to use"

February 16, 2026

5.0

Pros

Easy to use app. We are using freelo for a few years now and I can say that it made our organisation more effective. I like that I can share projects not only with the team, but also with external hosts. Even tho we are using Slack for communication, it can become very messy sometimes. Freelo is making the communication more clear and less chaotic.

Cons

The price went up since we joined, but Freelo is offering special prices for non-profit organisations. Just ask!

### "No tasks get lost anymore"

September 30, 2025

5.0

Freelo helps me keep track of all ongoing projects and also lets me capture ideas for the future so they don’t get lost. We use it to run meetings – I prepare the agenda in Freelo, we go through everything during the meeting, and assign tasks right away. We also use Freelo to document recurring processes in our organization. This gives me the confidence that I can easily be substituted when needed and hand over parts of my agenda to someone else. All project steps can be recorded in Freelo in a very clear way. The built-in chat is also great – everything related to a topic is discussed neatly in one place.

Pros

Freelo really helps me organize my work. Thanks to it, I have an overview of all the tasks assigned to me across different platforms, as well as those I assign to my teams. No task gets lost anymore. Freelo offers a lot of interesting features – I’m still discovering new possibilities and haven’t explored them all yet. I really appreciate the excellent support and the continuous development of the product.

Cons

There’s nothing that really bothers me. If I could improve one thing, it would be the ability to assign a single task to multiple users – for situations where the same task needs to be handled by several teams. Whenever I’ve come across a problem or needed help with something, Freelo’s support has responded professionally and very quickly.

I am satisfied with Freel, it is a very useful tool for teams, you can easily find information in communication.

Pros

What I liked most about Freel was its simplicity and clarity. The connection to email and various communication options in messages are useful.

Cons

I can't say that I don't like anything about it yet. I'm still learning with it and discovering other possibilities.

### "Complete satisfaction – Freelo has transformed the way we work!"

June 13, 2025

5.0

We’ve been using Freelo for several months now, and I have to say we’re absolutely thrilled. We were looking for a tool to help us better manage projects, tasks, and team communication – and Freelo has far exceeded our expectations. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, yet packed with powerful features. We especially appreciate the ability to clearly define responsibilities, track deadlines, comment directly under tasks, and receive well-structured notifications. Thanks to email integration and export options, we always have everything under control. Customer support is fast, helpful, and genuinely tries to assist – something that’s becoming increasingly rare these days. Regular updates and new features show that Freelo truly listens to the needs of its users. Thanks to Freelo, we’ve eliminated email chaos, improved team collaboration, and significantly boosted productivity. We can only recommend it!

Pros

Freelo helps us solve problems with project organization, task delegation, and team communication. Before, we struggled with scattered information and missed deadlines, but now everything is clearly structured in one place. It keeps our team aligned, improves accountability, and saves us a lot of time. Thanks to Freelo, our workflow is smoother and more efficient.

Cons

I enjoy working with colors, so it’s a pity that Freelo offers only minimal options in this regard. I’d love to use more colors in the future!

### "Great to improve your workflow"

September 23, 2025

5.0

Very good and helpful. We have started using in small team first which was very helpful to share our experiences once it was implemented organization-wide.

Pros

It is easy to use and allows for various tracking of our tasks. We use Freelo daily (for 4 months now) and it improved my wellbeing and work balance a lot. It is easier to collaborate and we don't forget finishing sequential steps. We use freelo with Sharepoint (instead of uploading documents into freelo directly) and it works well for us. We've tried Teams for planning some years ago but didn't work that good. Also, there are real you can ask fot help in the chatbox, no automatic replies. anything.

Cons

Not much, but I would appreciate a filter to ser tasks that I am added just to keep track of but I am not the leader. But it might be created since I've raised this need to the team in chat.

### "Free-lo yourself to become a process-driven organization!"

October 30, 2025

5.0

I really appreciated the well-organized launch support, detailed help and wiki in English and Czech, and well-designed instructional videos. This really helped with planning and implementing the launch. The resources on project management and process organization were also useful. Part of the team slightly underestimated the need to devote time to changing the organization and planning of work, as it is a significant change.

Pros

What I appreciated most about Freelo was that a product of this caliber is being developed in our region, with excellent support availability, a transparent changelog, and the opportunity to influence product development. I also appreciated the discount for our non-profit organization and the relatively intuitive user interface—in the past, I've used Trello, JIRA, Asana, and Basecamp.

Cons

The names of projects, to-do lists, tasks, and subtasks are fixed, and given the number of contexts in which we implement projects, it would be helpful to have customizable terminology. Task sharing between projects, which is already quite good, could also be improved further. We look forward to more advanced resource planning, cross-project and multi-source budgeting.

### "Skvělý a přehledný nástroj na řízení projektů v neziskovce"

May 30, 2025

5.0

Our experience with Freelo has been very positive. We’ve managed to implement it successfully within our nonprofit team, and most of the team members actively use it. It’s a great tool for managing projects, assigning and tracking tasks. Everything is in one place, and that really helps us stay organized and keep track of progress.

Pros

We really like how easy it is to see who is responsible for what. Freelo is clear, well-organized, and available in Czech, which is a big plus for our team. It's very intuitive—even for people who aren’t used to digital tools. We also appreciate the strong support from the Freelo team during the implementation process. Everything is well designed, user-friendly, and easy to grasp.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing we particularly disliked so far. We had an onboarding consultation at the beginning, which helped us avoid potential issues, and everything has worked smoothly since.

### "Review on Freelo"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with Freelo. In a home office and online work environment, it helps me deep focus on my work and divide the tasks visually.

Pros

In everyday work, I find Freelo very helpful and the user interface is friendly and intuitive. My favourite tool is the Time Measure. I also like the fact that I can see what my colleagues are working on, what tasks they finished etc. It is also helpful we can lead discussions under the tasks and tag colleagues.

Cons

In the beginning, it is important to really set up notifications properly. I got overwhelmed by all the e-mails I got in my box, most of them very unnecessary.

### "a tool you don't have to be afraid of"

February 23, 2026

4.0

This software is a good tool for coordinating a large number of people in small, medium and larger businesses, in our case a relatively large regional school where Thanks to it, we are able to manage both groups and individuals and thanks to it we can effectively add work, control their fulfillment and flexibly respond to the needs that arise in the school.

Pros

Yes, it's a system that our \[sensitive content hidden\] started using so he could distribute work and control projects, and I enjoy the specific clarity of seeing what's happening in my team, what's happening in our entire company, that is, the school, and I also like that I can report on the status of my work so that others know how busy I am or how much capacity I have so they can consult with me on other things.

Cons

I'm a little disappointed with the company that it spams my email very violently, urging me with a lot of things, weekly reports, etc., and initially, before I set the filter to suit me, it was quite annoying and limiting for me. And it took away my desire to work with this tool.

### "Keeps our projects on track every day"

October 20, 2025

5.0

t makes teamwork so much smoother and helps us stay on top of every detail when preparing cultural events. I really appreciate how everything is in one place — tasks, comments, deadlines, budgets. It keeps everyone on the same page and saves us a lot of confusion. Once you get used to it, you can’t imagine organizing an event without it.

Pros

Even when we’re working on several events at once, everything is clear — who’s doing what, what’s finished, and what’s still in progress. It saves a lot of time and helps us avoid misunderstandings. I also really like how simple it is to communicate directly in tasks instead of sending endless emails.

Cons

Sometimes I wish there were a few more visual options for planning — like a more flexible calendar or a clearer overview of deadlines. But that’s just a small thing. Overall, Freelo is really easy to use and does exactly what we need for event coordination.

Overall I am satisfied with the added value, which I got by using Freelo. All the tasks in one place, easy assignment and commucation with others.

Pros

I appreatiate the easy and functional design of the service. Quickly I can see what is to do and the progress of different projects. The communication of the team, which does not always meet personally, has finally one channel to take place.

Pros

### "A simple yet effective tool for organizing work"

February 18, 2026

5.0

Freelo is a great tool for managing to-do lists and organizing teamwork. It's simple yet effective, and it helps us stay up to date on everything happening in our team.

Pros

The system is simple and easy to navigate. I appreciate that there are several levels for organizing tasks: projects, to-do lists, tasks, and sub-tasks. This hierarchy allows us to organize our work very well. I especially like the option to assign sub-tasks to different people with different deadlines. The calendar is also very useful.

Cons

Overall, I don't have any major issues with Freelo. One thing that comes to mind, though, is the inability to rearrange the order of projects and to-do lists on my personal dashboard.

My honest perspective on Freelo is that I truly appreciate how seamlessly it integrates all my tasks with my Google Calendar and the calendars of our employees. This connection makes our planning system work effortlessly alongside invoicing and other tools, creating a smooth and efficient workflow.

Pros

What I enjoy most about Freelo is that all my tasks are connected to my Google Calendar and the calendars of our employees. This way, it seamlessly integrates our planning system with invoicing and other tools.

Cons

I use the Freelo app to assign and check tasks almost every day. We have events planned here more than half a year in advance and it suits us very well.

Pros

I really appreciate the clarity, sorting and prioritization options. I also really like the task description and the option to share the link.

Cons

Preparation of project settings, which is very important. It is necessary to think carefully about the processes and rules in the organization in advance and enter them correctly. Otherwise, other users are more likely to be confused. But it is a question of user morality, not the tool.

### "Happy about using freelo in our organization"

May 31, 2025

5.0

Absolutely satisfied. I have already encountered competing management tools in other jobs and so I had certain expectations. I can safely admit that I have no reservations about Freelo. Freelo fulfills beyond expectations what I expected from it as a user. It has made the work agenda clearer and simplified the work in our remote team. I use Freelo daily, I connected it to Google Drive, so I have everything I need for the project right away, all the documents and I don't have to look for anything. I also often move communication with colleagues to the given tasks, so even if I return to something with a distance, I still have all the information and comments in one place.

Pros

Since I already had experience with similar tools, I was looking forward to implementing a similar tool in our non-profit organization. We evaluated Freelo as the best possible, especially for its Czech localization, because not everyone in the team is English-speaking and technically proficient. But Feelo is also incredibly intuitive and at the same time you can choose between different display methods, set notifications, and can be connected to Google Calendar, so every member of our team, even those who were very critical and not very inclined to introduce a new tool, got used to Freelo very quickly and there was not a single hitch during the team onboarding.

Cons

I have nothing to say. except that we took so long to decide, because implementing Freelo saves us all work and time.

Pros
