"New User Interface Much Improved"

**Pros:** The updated user interface is much easier to use and functions very much like Westlaw Next, one of the leading industry standards. The interface is not overly complicated and is fairly intuitive.

**Cons:** Sometimes it is not always easy to filter out criminal cases from civil cases, regardless of tweaking the search terms. I find it takes a little more work to focus in on civil cases with Fastcase as opposed to Westlaw, for example. But, this “con” is not really a detractor from the software

"Great Alternative to the Big Two Giants"

**Overall:** Quite good, especially with newer developments in case law.

**Pros:** Excellent in returning accurate results. Negative treatment flags are good, especially since recent cases giving negative treatment are now following consistent citing/discussion methods (thanks, law clerks and judges!). Customer service is responsive and friendly and honest.

**Cons:** Wish it had sentence and proximity terms so I don't have to take chances with the usually-adequate proximity of /6. Subscription database going back to only 1950 in a state without a LOT of case law has hindered my research a few times.
