Pros

Prospect has been a very powerful tool in allowing our sales team to have a meaningful conversation with a potential first time customer. Providing real, impartial data on their existing digital presence. Out of the box salesforce integration has been very helpful for quick deployment. Great support. Significant savings from having to build such a tool ourselves.

Cons

We are a large business, would recommend moving away from a cost per report model as it can potentially get expensive, and an unlimited use enterprise subscription monthly fee would be more appropriate for our situation.

Prospect has provided important insights into the overall online presence of our customers and lets us focus on those that have the most opportunity to convert. The experience has been excellent.

Pros

It is a tool that allows us to clearly show customers and prospects where there are problems with their online presence and enables a fact based dialogue on how we can improve it. the reports are clear and extremely easy to understand.

Cons

In some cases, there is so much data that it can be intimidating to some sales reps and customers. However, the logical layout of the reports means it is not difficult to pull out the "highlights".

How easy it is to use and customize for our customer base. How helpful and awesome the support team is. How easy it is to set up.

It can be a bit slow, but it is crawling sites and analyzing them, I realize this could be on the server.

Pros

The reports are great talking points for clients on opportunities to help their business. If your rep is a novice or think they are an expert, they can use the report to close business. We started with a trial and closed enough business to cover the first year expense.

Cons

It only can scan the website and not all of the internet.

Silktide Prospect enables our Consultants to engage in a meaningful way with our prospects , identifying both opportunities and competitive threats whilst offering advice on corrective and proactive actions. On completion of a call we can summarize the actions into a be spoke proposal that can be e mailed to the client from the same platform.

Pros

Ease of use , Functionality , Competitor Comparison , Proposal Generator , e mail tracking.

Cons

If we were to change one aspect on the current iteration of this platform it would be that it is currently limited to five pages in terms of depth of analysis. Normally sufficient though.

Literally no complaints at all for us and we couldn't recommend it further.

Pros

We have been using Silktide for a few months now and it hands down the most complete website auditing tool on the market. Over the years I have used the majority of tools marketed for SEO audits, but they have all felt a little bit diluted. We recently decided to go for some high-end software with Silktide as we were impressed by the potential of all its features. Since the switch it has really been night and day. The technical and content audits from an SEO perspective are detailed and actionable way beyond what other tools provide. An example would be that where they find oversized images they automatically provide a scaled and optimised image for you to download and quickly replace. Aside from the SEO features they also provide audits for user experience and accessibility. As our business works in a financial niche aiming for at least an AA grade was something we set out for at the start of the year. Silktide was able to tell us every single failure and corresponding fix to meet this. The user interface is clean, quick yet detailed. It gets link data from Ahrefs (the best link database in my own personal opinion) and also offers position tracking if necessary. We really couldn't recommend it further. The customer service, particularly at the start where they offer full on-boarding sessions, is by far the best I've experience from any software.

Cons

If I was to really nit-pick I would say that this software would be hard to justify for smaller business with smaller budgets due to its price.

we were able to not only scan prospects but have informed pitch calls using factual data about their current sites issues. I will continue to use silktide for as long as they are in business!

Pros

I LOVE that you can show a prospect in black and white exactly what's wrong with their current website. It makes the pitch process much easier

Cons

I don't like that often times the software can't tell you the platform that a certain site was built on, it only seems to get that right when the platform is wordpress or wix
