Pros: While I have taught myself to use other forms of graphic design software such as Inkscape and to a lesser extent, Adobe InDesign, lately I have found myself increasingly using Canva as my go-to graphic design tool for 90% of what I do. I use Canva for Work now, and love that I can have brand colours and fonts at the ready, and can easily produce designs in just the right dimensions for various applications without having to look up what those dimensions should be. I have given access to my Canva account to colleagues so that they, too, can generate quality, on-brand designs, and the more I use Canva, the more templates I can make available for others on my team to copy and adapt. I also find the fact that it puts access to vast libraries of free and paid clipart and photos at my fingertips extremely handy.

Cons: There are just a few respects in which Canva comes up short relative to programs like Inkscape:

-There is currently no way to create curved text, or text along a path of any kind;

-There is no eraser tool, which could sometimes be useful;

-While it can export print-quality PDFs, I find that the PNGs it produces are not always of the resolution I'm looking for and would love the ability to obtain a higher ppi

Overall: Canva has made graphic design work quicker and easier for me, especially in the production of graphics for social media, although I also use it to design everything from posters to business cards. Furthermore, it has empowered people on my team without ANY knowledge of other graphic design software to produce good-looking graphics that are consistent with our brand, reducing the demands on me to personally take care of ALL the graphic design needs of my organization.

Pros: I absolutely love this software. I use it multiple times in my day, both on it's own and along with other programs, such as Photoshop. It makes it really easy to create high quality social images and other business designs. It is easy to use and has a number of features including stock imagery, shapes, frames, layouts, fonts, colours etc. It allows you to upload your own images and quickly organize them. I have used both the paid and free versions. Both are great tools and the free version gives you access to more than you need if you are a small business. The paid version allows you to upload your brand elements and gives you access to additional images and icons. I have also used the Canva app which is great for on the go but is not as easy to use, however, it is getting better as they update it. Canva also has several download options and the newest version gives you the option to make basic moving images.

Cons: I wish there was a better way to organize and manage images and designs. It would be great if I could rename images and organize them within the folders. I also dislike that the image folders have a mass capacity.

The Canva app for your mobile device is not as easy to use. While it is helpful for on the go edits and designs I often times find myself limiting my design or pulling out my computer because it is a little too frustrating to use. However, they are making improvements which are making it easier.

I wish I could do multiple sizes of a design in one template. Because I resize for all of the different social platforms, I often end up with 3 to 5 of the same image in my design library, all different sizes.

Overall: This is one of my favourite social tools and I think every business should use it. The free version has a lot to offer and it can be used for a number of applications from flyers to ads to social!

Everyone is a designer with Canva; A good designer.

Pros: Canva is a blessing to every person who finds Photoshop too difficult to work with and to all those companies who don't want to necessarily hire a graphic designer. So, I discovered Canva during my very 1st job when the only graphic designer in the staff would give me a tough time in sending across timely designs. I had to manage the social media pages and it was imperative for me to ensure, that graphics be prepared on time for me to post. That is when I started my search for a basic designing software that would fulfill making good looking post-worthy graphics. Given my requirement, Canva invariably surpassed the expectations since I never know you could get so much of functionality available FOR FREE. Quickly:

1) The Templates. Template size of almost each of the social media properties present in the digital space from Facebook, Twitter to Pinterest, Tumblr and more is available in Canva. You also get separate templates for cards, invitations, infographics and what not beside your custom dimensions. This means that all of our dimension woes are sorted.

2) Layouts with each template serve as a useful inspiration.

3) A large pool of FREE shapes, fonts, frames, grids, icons, lines, colours (including custom colours) to choose from. You can't ask for more.

4) A lot of formatting can be applied to a photo itself - photo effects, photo position, option to flip the pic, crop pic, group pics & other elements together.

5) Option to download the design as PDF, PNG, JPG or ALL.

Cons: 1) Lately, Canva has been working really slow on even a good speed internet. It has been working excellently only when the WiFi strength is at it's peak. Despite this, Canva's functionality far outdoes the slow working that too has only been happening recently.

2) The free photo bank is boring and repetitive. I feel the Team can add better pics as a part of free feature without giving away all the good pics which is a feature of the paid version.

3) 30 designs per template at a time. After you have created 30 designs using a template, you gotta create another design thread to use the same dimensions. I feel they can increase the limit. For a heavy Canva user, this only means that a lot of design threads of a single template will be created. This, in turn, will further make Canva's functioning slow.

Overall: It is an exhaustive design tool and despite having almost every functionality present in it, the tool is not as heavy as other designing software. I repeat, Canva is a BLESSING.

Pros: Canva 2.0 remains the standard of excellence in online graphics creation for beginners through intermediate skill levels. Canva 2.0 widens the left-side margins of the app, allowing images and items you are searching for to appear larger on the desktop version. Once you find the "Find Templates" menu selection, you indeed have a VERY nice selection of graphics templates organized into a wider variety of categories than before.

If you peek at the APPS icon in the lower left, you'll see a large selection of great tools such as animation and gif creation, transparent backgrounds, image resizing, larger stock photo library etc., but they require the paid per month subscription.

Cons: Removal of the template selection screen. Asking the user to guess what the exact template style is by typing in an expression or description of the template, is a needless step backwards, all in pursuit of a cleaner looking interface.. If you want to enter your own design dimensions (say 1280x7200 pixels) the box for that is gone.

Yes, FIND TEMPLATES is quietly there on the left side of the screen, but I didn't notice it until I had used Canva 2.0 nearly a dozen times. This could end up being better than Canva 1.0 if they install a guide for newcomers, showing users where they've moved these commonly used tools to.... It's a bit conceited when designers believe their products are so well engineered that they think they need no instructions.

Overall: The original Canva 1.0 rates all 5 Stars. Easy to use, easy to see the various templates that beginners/advanced users wanted to find. Easy to select text elements and shapes..

For Canva 2.0? Take away a star across the board (4 stars.). They decided to not leave well enough alone. I can only find two improvements in a product that really didn't need improving, and they left out a notable chance to improve the app, by making image resizing a free, standard feature. That feature has become almost essential in 2018, and making it a premium feature is a shame..

Canva 2.0 buries the most often-used menu items (Shapes/Lines/Charts/Icons/Images) behind an unrelated menu option. If you want shapes, lines, or charts you'll need to click on "images". Then, scroll down the left side of the screen to find the elements you are searching for, and because they are now lumped together, get ready to scroll for awhile.

Despite the improved wider left side menu, using Canva 2.0 is a slower process than before.

Pros: Canva is user-friendly. I was able to get signed up and start producing social posts and eCards almost immediately.

The multitude of features give me versatility. After I style one social post, I can then resize it to multiple sizes to fit all my social media venues. That is an amazing time saver for me.

The variety of free to low cost graphics, both illustrations and photographs, offers a selection that is more plentiful than any service I've used in the past. And the ability to upload and incorporate my own graphics is a gracious and effective feature.

Canva is a cost-saving for my home business. Before Canva, I spent a great deal more time creating and styling graphics. I spent a great deal more money on graphics. The one-time fee for an illustration or photograph is a dream come true for me.

The Canva blog is full of design suggestions and ideas. It has been a wealth of knowledge for me as a self-taught graphic artist. It's given me ideas and sparked my creativity.

The Canva support desk is designed to be user-friendly and is not at all intimidating as some other help desks or forums can be. It has videos and instructions that can make anybody feel like a pro in no time.

Overall: Time savings. Cost savings. Low-cost to no-cost illustration and photography selection is huge. User-friendly. From the graphics I created on Canva I've set up a regular posting schedule with another SaaS and now have 10,000 more visitors to my blog since I initiated my new system. Canva has played a big part in this.

When I first joined a few years ago, I had a difficulty in applying my payments to the correct business (I had a few at one time) so that I could use the bonus graphics on the right account. That issue was resolved but I thought the people I discussed this with via email could have handled that situation with a bit more clarity. I've operated computer since the 1970's and that little piece confused even me. But, as I said, it was resolved and it's been smooth sailing ever since with me and Canva.

Pros: I can't rave enough about this product. Before this, we were using MS Publisher and the templates are very antiquated with little guidance or some of us jumped to Adobe InDesign which is quite overwhelming. Canva has been a true game changer. It is so easy to use. No one here is trained in graphic design and there is great help/design school section for those who aren't trained but want to learn a little more about basic principles like font, negative spacing, etc. in hands on quick practice tutorials. They also include free templates that are beautiful and graphically pleasing if you don't know where to start. Uploading of your own images are quick and easy with png or jpg supported formats. I love that all the documents come in sizes like poster, facebook post, twitter and you can easily "magic resize" any document with very little tweaking to use the same design amongst all social media and posters with just the quick press of a button. I don't need to remember sizes anymore. You can share designs among team members so we can all keep the same branding, image folders, and color scheme or edit easily. If you have any worries about copyrighting of outside images, you can stay within Canva and search their free/paid images.

Cons: That you can't search by free images only and if not that feature it is frustrating that you can't organize them so all the free ones to come up to the top. That is literally the only "bad" thing I have to say about this product!

Overall: easy to use, has really streamlined our marketing process amongst a team that doesn't always get to see each other, professionalized our design and taught us about graphic design without having to sit through extensive classes

Pros: I prefer programs such as InDesign and I trust the judgement of graphic designers and artists. That said, you can create a variety of items in short time. (Sort of my 'design 911' program; it's fast and you can save your corporate colors in the color scheme). I've done logos, GIFs, full-page magazine layouts, you name it. Also, if you are a non-profit, make sure you file you paperwork with Canva; you can get this service for free, which is a big deal for places on a small budget.

Cons: I'll start by saying those who use services like Fiverr should stay away from this. This is so easy to use - if you put the work into it - someone who fashions himself as the office 'jack of all trades' will find this and think, we don't need to invest in a graphics artist. No, you still need to understand basic design concepts. It won't work miracles. Also, you may be to be sure you use the different customizable folders which are available. It streamlines the process when you want to create for certain topics or specific clients. If you don't, you can still find your creations...but it is easier to save like this. Really, it's not a complaint!

Overall: I highly recommend it because I can create high-quality items in short time. If you have your corporate colors saved in advance and your logos filed away, you can really fly on deadline projects. I speak from experience ;)

Pros: Canva is great all around, but here are several reasons why I love it:

1) It's super easy to use. The design templates are numerous which makes it easy for me to use. Since I have little design skills, the program makes it easy to design blog post images, Facebook posts, book covers, etc. without need for hours of schooling.

2) It has top level images for purchase right within the program, making it streamlined and effective at getting the job done.

3) Canva allows you to use a magic resize on images which saves a ton of time. It's one of the best features because I always seem to need to change the size of my image in order to load it up correctly wherever it needs to go.

4) The selection of design tools is outstanding. From images to objects Canva has everything you need in one easy to manage place. I don't seen why I'd use any other program for my design needs.

Cons: There is not a lot I don't like about Canva, but I will share some areas for improvement:

1) I wish there were more high quality free images to choose from. It seems like I am always paying for images.

2) There are times when the downloaded images look different than the image on the screen. It's annoying to have to go back in and change things. I am not sure why this happens sometimes.

3) The main organization of your collection of projects is awful. It's so difficult to find old projects and sort. There needs to be an easier way of organizing all of the projects instead of one screen with every project listed out by date last used.

Overall: Canva is ridiculously user friendly and I love using it for my design needs!

Pros: I love all of the templates that are readily available and you can work from fast. If you need a layout for a flyer, you hit the button for flyer and then there are 100 options that you can select from and use. They have it so you can narrow down by focus like real estate or food, etc. It's extremely easy to upload your own graphics into the system for use. I use Canva for a lot of one off flyers or social media graphics. I have also used Canva on the professional side and actual set up a brand through their software. I was able to create palettes and upload the correct colors using hex codes as well as upload my fonts.

Cons: One of the major flaws is when you go to select multiple items that are layered to move or work with. They have an odd way of grouping them. Also, it is very difficult to select an object on a sub layer to move without moving everything on top of it. Second complaint or issue has to do with printing the pdf files. I have had my alignment in the piece go completely wonky when it printed and there was not an easy way to fix the issue. The templates that list a monetary number are confusing - it seems like you would have to pay to use the template but in reality the cost is actually for the stock photo they are using in the template. If you replace the stock photo, the template is free.

Overall: I love using it to work with the people on my team who were not designers. They were able to create a graphic on the fly by themselves or better express what they wanted when they looked at all the options that Canva offered. They would look at the templates and go "I want something like that."

Pros: Great ease of use and intuitive software interface. I enjoyed using this software. It is easier than working in Photoshop. Everything (the features) are all either drag and drop or click and select. I could get it up and running in no time after signing up a paid account. You can get away with a free account to test-drive the online software.

Canva helps me to edit, manage and store images and allows me to download them to my PC/laptop easily and quickly. Further, I can upload my own custom edited images.

The paid version allows me to do many things namely the ability to access millions of photos and get access to further exclusive access to 400,000 free photos, illustrations, and templates. A useful feature which I liked is that it can magically resize my designs, and allowing me to upload custom fonts for my brand. These are just some of the useful features which I had been using so far. It also contain team functionalities, which allow team to work together and collaborate on online design projects. In short, very useful!

Cons: Got some minor issues, where the software failed to save my template or custom design that I have edited. Hence, I have to rework on them. Sometimes, during the design editing process, certain changes are not accurately reflected on the interface. For example, dragging on the nodes of a selected object or element to change the dimensions are not reflected on the screen. Sometimes, after saving a design, it took a while for it to be found in the library. I guess, software always has it ups and downs on certain days?

Overall: Great online graphic design tool! Especially if you find Photoshop too expensive!

Pros: Canva is a phenomenal tool for all-things graphic design. For starters, the free version offers a lot of content, designs, images, etc. I haven't seen anything like it. It's layout and interface is clean, consistent, and friendly to use. It's easy to navigate and you learn quickly how to use the site or app. Canva offers hundreds, maybe even thousands, of pretreated, yet customizable layouts that can be used on all sorts of social media platforms or projects (infographics, graphics, cards, resumes, menus, posters, picture collages, invitations, etc.). There are hundreds of relevant font styles, and with such a wide variety, you will definitely find what you're looking for or something that fits the project. If you pay a little, you have access to even more images, layouts, and a team cloud-based storage so that all team members can collaborate on projects -great feature! Last, your work is saved automatically in the cloud and can be downloaded as .png, .pdf, or jpeg (and maybe even more?).

Cons: I'm a big fan, but it would be great if they could offer animations, GIFs, or the ability to embed videos. That would be a way they could take the next step with their graphics platform and would allow your creations to come alive, so to say.

Pros: It's a very accessible and engaging platform. Pretty much everything I have on there has come off as clean and professional, despite my own learning curve with graphic design. It's definitely created with multiple skill levels of users in mind.

Cons: Sometimes the parameters around the user interface and overall options can feel limiting. But for a free software with as many features as this has, it's hard to complain.

I would like to suggest a few options:

Folders or some type of labeling system for the images the user uploads, particularly with a search feature. At present you just have to scroll thru photos based on when they were uploaded. The same applies to your designs. It would be great to be able to search based on the title of a graphic.

I think piloting some type of Canva University or certification program could be interesting. As novice who loves design, I would also love to learn more and get really familiar with all the features. For instance, I just found about being able to create graphs last week.

Overall: Helpful, engaging, promotes creative. Certain aspects of user interface could be improved, but I use this almost everyday in my work.

Pros: I am not a graphic designer. You wouldn't know this thanks to Canva. I use Canva everyday. I make Instagram graphics, Facebook covers, invites for my alumni association activities, flow charts and email info-graphics. I get asked all the time if I'll design invites for people. It's hilarious. I have no idea what I'm doing. But with Canva...you don't have to. Their templates are amazing. It's a matter of swapping in your own information right inside their templates and suddenly you're graphic design Jesus. I kid you not. Canva makes my online presence look legit.. Canva makes me seem way cooler than I really am. More importantly, Canva makes me look more professional online than I ever dreamed. I can make invites for my daughter's birthday parties. Don't believe me. Try it. You'll be hooked.

Cons: I like everything else. It's amazing. The iphone app can be a little trickier just because of the nature of size of the screen but it is still a fantastic way to create.

Overall: I get control of my message. I don't have to rely on anyone else to market me. My online presence looks legit.

Pros: I use Photoshop every day, and I'd say I'm probably an intermediate-level user. However, sometimes even I would prefer to use Canva because of how fast and easy it is to put together a good looking graphic. A lot of the design choices, style and layout is already done for you, so it eliminates some of the thinking and trial and error getting a good looking image. It's free with some premium elements you have to pay for, which is better than having to pay outright. And it has all of the essential features you need in a streamlined editor. Pre-sized templates for each project you have, as well as pre-made filters, templates, vector graphics, stock images, backgrounds, beautiful fonts (and no ugly ones), just pretty much everything you need and nothing you don't. The learning curve is almost zero. They even have a sort of "academy" where you can learn basic design principles. It's a great starting place for people who feel intimated by Photoshop or Illustrator but want to get started somewhere.

Cons: I guess the only negative to Canva is the premium content, but that's their business model so I can't fault them for that. You might say that not being able to use custom fonts is a downer, but they have a good selection of trendy, commonplace fonts that look good when you mix and match them.

Overall: We use Canva to create quick graphics for use on social media, emails, print, and the web as it can be a faster alternative to professional applications like Photoshop or Illustrator.

Pros: Canva design software has taken the best design tools -- previously only in the purview of graphics professionals -- and placed them in the hands of regular folk with a creative flair. They've made it easier for me to visualize and bring to life ideas I have for banners and posters and cards. And more often than not, I don't actually have an idea -- Canva provides so many samples and examples across all the spaces where I need a design, it's a no-brainer!

Although I use a desktop design application (GIMP) for creating graphics for articles and making pretty text titles (for ebooks or reports), I turn to Canva for banners and graphics for Twitter, Facebook or cards.

I like that I can upload my own images. Downloading your final creation in a few different formats is a useful feature. It saves a little time converting it into another format on the other end.

For teachers, Canva has created an entire culture for sharing and learning new ways to use Canva in the classroom. Instructors post some truly creative instructables, including full lesson plans and example outcomes.

Cons: Sometimes it seems like my layers disappear or it's hard to re-focus on a layer that's under other layers. This is probably less of a "con" or flaw in the Canva system and more about how design software handles layering.

I'd like to see better organization of images, especially free images, so I can find those I like easier.

Overall: Overall, Canva is to the cloud what design software has been to the desktop. Even though they offer a premium version with more bells and whistles, what Canva gives the community in its free version is valuable.

You can jump right in and start creating. For more sophisticated designs, you'll have a learning curve but it's well worth the effort.

Pros: It is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. It allows me to make designs quickly and simply, but it also allows for a good bit of customization too if I want to spend a little more time on a design. Because of the templates and examples, I have seen my designs improve significantly since I started using Canva. Because of its ease of use, I have also seen my output and effeciency increase significantly.

Cons: I like a little more control/flexibility to change the font, size, and color of text in one text box. I would also like more control over the color of the icons. I realize not all icons can be editable, but it seems that version 1.0 had a lot more editable icons (i.e. you could change the colors).

Overall: I have found Canva to be an intuitive and sleek design software. Other products are bulky and challenging to master. Canva brings me just what I what I need without overloading me with features I will never use. I particularly recommend this for small businesses, nonprofits, and beginning entrepreneurs. If you need to produce nice looking designs quickly and you don't have a background in graphic design. This will be your best friend. Moreover, you can add a number of team members for making group work a breeze. I have created hundreds of designs using this software. I am hooked.

Pros: In a few clicks you can design a multitude of graphics for use in marketing/advertising through social media or print.

You are not limited by the images provided - you can upload your own to manipulate.

I use the professional version (paid) which also provides me with sharing capabilities, branding, upload your own fonts and other perks.

I love being able to create a design and resize it for different social media platforms.

Easy to use templates and modify or create your own designs.

Lots of fonts.

Good tutorials on how to use different features.

Cons: When I automatically resize for different platforms, I have to do some manual rearranging of items.

Search function is limited.

Can't figure out how to insert a simple line.

Would like grids that are not tied to images so that text or images could be inserting and use the grids with borders or without.

Overall: It's my go-to design software for so many different things - social media posts, graphics to use on my website, promotional mailing pieces and so much more.

Pros: What's not to like!? It's a fantastic online graphic design tool which can cover all of your basic design and editing needs! If you need to create any sort of graphic and do not have the pro adobe softwares (or the skills), Canva is your godsend!

The ease with which you can create beautifully designed images and logos is amazing. It's fast, well designed, intuitive, and very easy to use! So I guess my final answer is ease of use.

Cons: Customer service is not the greatest. They can sometimes take a while to get back to you but your issue/question will be resolved eventually.

Overall: As a marketer and advertiser, I am constantly in need of new and exciting graphics. I design something new almost daily. Canva helps with this immensely as it's efficient and easy to use. If I had to use Adobe every time I wanted to create something, it would take up far too much of my time. I do of course use Adobe for the more complex stuff but Canva will cover 95% of your needs.

It also automatically saves your designs so you can come back and make edits/duplications and the exporting of newly created designs is so so easy!

Pros: As a social media community manager, I am expected to create content calendars, social media designs and reports continuously, these tasks would normally consume most of my time especially the design part and creating slick and easy to consume reports. When I first got introduced to Canva, I was skeptical, especially that I worked on many design apps and platforms before, however, my skepticism was quickly demolished when I started working on it. Canva comes with many templates to choose from, and by pairing it with Pinterest, it helped push my creativity to its maximum capability, and I could execute on those ideas with ease. It used to take me a few hours to create the designs of a 7 days calendar, now i can sketch up and have social media ready designs in less than 1 hour! And when it came to design reports, Canva had a wide variety of simple easy to use templates that allowed me to easily plug in my graphs and information, and helped me to focus on the actual content instead of spending hours and hours on design and coloring.

Cons: Canva is quite good for every day use, however, it lacks the in-depth power and editing some of the other more powerful full fledged platforms have. Other than that, there is not much to hate when it comes to Canva.

Pros: The basic plan is free, which already has enough good materials and free photo and illustrator pictures for use. I like it offers different design templates (including the exact size of the design, so it makes things much easier for we just selecting which design for which social media post or poster). For each design template, it also offers a lot of beautiful and trendy design templates, 2/3 are free, 1/3 you need to pay for the upgrade plan.

Cons: Sometimes, it suddenly quits out by itself out of notice when you're working on the design project. And after you reload the page, not every time your work is saved, which means you have to remake a few works again due to the unknown problem of the Canva. Another thing is even one very basic and simple picture material itself costs at least. It means if you working on the whole design with many paid elements, it cost a lot.

Overall: Save money and save time if you just do the easy touch up for the picture or making some simple design by choosing some design templates.

Pros: I have used Canva for at least one year and I think is a great tool for a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, and any other person who need to create visual content in an easy way. If you need to create a design and you don't know nothing about graphic design, this tool will be the best way to do a great job. It's easy to use, agile, and dynamic.

What I like most about this software is that it offers different templates that you can work on when you are a beginner. This speeds up the time and productivity of your creations, allowing you to design faster and with quality.

In addition, Canva offers the exact resolution for each social network, which is a great help since you will not have to adjust the size of the image manually, offering a perfect measurement from the beginning.

Cons: I would like Canva to have more advanced design options, for which we have experience. However, in all the time that I have been using Canva I have not found any aspect that bothers me. It is a fully functional, fast and quality software.

Overall: I'm a Community Manager, my job is to create content on social networks, therefore, my main job requires basic graphic design skills. Thanks to Canva I have been able to work efficiently and respond to all the requests that have been successfully made to me.

Pros: I use Canva for everything from social media posts and PDF handouts to video introductions I send to clients. I love being able to customize images with text and artwork and the drag-and-drop feature makes it incredibly easy. Every part of my business that is customer-facing has improved ten-fold since implementing this into my business. This software is almost a must for any business-to-consumer operation.

Cons: I almost laugh as I type this since Canva has millions of options for images and designs but I wish there was a higher level membership that allowed you access to a greater number of designs. Canva has set aside different designs for purchase that are typically of higher quality. Sometimes it is frustrating when you want to use those designs but not pay to only use it once. I would be willing to pay more each month to have a wider access to better designs.

Overall: I can't even think about not having Canva anymore. I use it almost everyday and for nearly every social media post I create. A large part of my business is video proposals which I create and email to clients and I use Canva for every single one of them. It helps take my business to the next level and provides a personal and customizable aspect that other competitors just aren't offering. In an industry that has 5 competitors down every street Canva definitely helps me stand out.

Pros: This site has completely changed how I make graphics. While I have a background in Adobe tools, I often don't have the time to commit to a project in Ilustrator or InDesign. Canva makes it easy to create poster, brochures, flyers, and educational materials. The templates serve as a great foundation and they are easy to customize. Further, the site has been adding more and more free resources such as photos and graphics! Truly a one stop shop.

Cons: I have tried to contact their customer service several times and each time, it takes a very long time to find a form. Once you complete the form you are likely to never receive a response. I had to reach out on Twitter to finally hear from someone. To their credit, things were handled quickly from there, but it should be easier to get in touch with the company.

Overall: Create graphics for presentations, marketing, and educational materials with ease. Focus on content and less on design, while still looking great.

Pros: Oh my goodness! The pros is their sleek designs, they keep improving daily. Key features I love about this tool is the free available templates for everything, from magazine cover designs to designing a resume to templates for eBook covers etc.

I also love the fact that you can do your designs and save it as a template you can reuse anytime or send you can send it to your team members.

Canva is a great tool for anything graphics, you can design a logo, social media posts, ebooks and a whole lot.

You save your work in either, a PNG, jpg or PDF format and you can include clickable links in your PDFs

You can also get tons and tons of free pictures, icons and frames and if you see a picture with canvas inscribed, just pay a token of $1. I love this tool.

Cons: The only con for me is sometimes they have system glitches and it can be really annoying.

Pros: As a marketing professional with limited design experience and human resources at my disposal, Canva has enabled me to generate countless images for both digital and print advertising. With numerous templates in the various image sizes, Canva helps to spark creativity and keep social tiles, email banners, and blog CTAs fresh. It's intuitive and fairly easy to use.

Cons: The functionality of this software only goes so far, so you shouldn't expect to have the same spread of capabilities as is provided in InDesign or Illustrator. I have also found that larger images don't export at the quality level I need to utilize that image.

Overall: Overall, Canva has allowed me to serve as a psudo-designer in a bind for the creation of social tiles, email banners, landing page banners, blog CTAs, and more. And it's free! Whether you're a bootstrapped marketing team or an established corporate marketing team, you can use Canva for the smaller design needs or for inspiration for your next digital or print ad.

Pros: Not everyone is a designer, but in this era all we care about is the look. I'm a web designer from a small media business and it was not easy and effective to keep having to wait for our designers to get every single simple elements from them as they have print projects. Canva saved our life and time! They give us all options and templates that we can customize for our own use and our own eyes of design. We use the premium business plan for the ease of organizing folders AND for their animation features. We create several moving digital ads within ~10-15 mins and clients all love them! The founder of Canva is definitely a genius, and life-saver for small businesses (and big agency!)

Cons: I can't complain so much. There was one time Canva was down and it was the day I realized how much I relied on them. I definitely wasn't happy to have it down especially when we were on premium plan AND having a deadline (and all of our data/graphic was saved on it). But it was the ONE-TIME-in-a-million-year thing, we never experienced any down time beside that.

Pros: I love the ease of use and design assistance. The free tutorials are so helpful. The template library is varied and deep. There's a million reasons to use Canva, including the royalty-free graphics and simplicity. As a paid subscriber, the ability to keep my branded items uploaded and easy to access is awesome. They are constantly working to improve the service.

Cons: Greedily, I wish there were even more royalty-free photos available to the paid subscribers. I wish when I paid for an item it would be available across uses, too. Without being greedy, I think there are a lot of flow-and-functionality improvements that can be made to the user interface. It's difficult and winding to make your way to a template from the design library. The search feature is too specific and should include the ability to search through designs and fonts. More fonts would be great too -- I appreciate the recent addition.

Pros: I love that I don't feel limited in my creation. There are also amazing templates for the quick jobs, that really look great! You can download your files in various types (pdf, jpeg, etc.) Now there is even a sharing feature so I can share document within a team file. I really think it's unlikely I will find a tool that I like more than this for its ease of use.

Cons: These files work perfectly, as long as they stay digital. The documents seem to always print fine, but any invitations or cards always seem to pront out grainy/blurry. I have tried multiple things to avoid this, and simply the file sizes are just too limited. I couldn't even print out a 4x6 card without some blur. I also found that when creating a design with an imported file, it shrinks the file size too. So when the final product is downloaded and then re-uploaded to its destination, a photo that wasn't blurry before now is.

Pros: I run an ad agency and content creation is a heavy part of what we do. There is NOTHING that allows you to make a graphic as quickly as Canva does period. I love the templates and pre-sized graphics to help me better tackle the various platforms.

Cons: There are 2 things that really bug me about this awesome software. 1) I design best by iterations. Meaning that I will have 8 or so images inside of one project. Each of them are a little different, but they build in quality as I figure out what I am trying to ultimately create on the fly. However, I don't want to delete the other iterations, as I may need them later. The problem lies in when I'm trying to resize a just one image from the entire project to fit a different set of dimensions. Example, trying to resize my Facebook Cover image into a Youtube Banner. This is a paid feature. However, when I go to resize the image, it resizes ALL of them. I wish I could just resize the specific graphic and not each iteration.

2) Exporting clean and crisp images is a hit or miss ordeal. You spend 30 minutes working on a design only to find that the final design is blurry for NO GOOD REASON.

I'm telling you, if they fix these two issues I would gladly pay double for this service!

Pros: Well, not a bottle. But as a beautifully packaged web-product. Canva is a platform that I recommend to all of my freelance clients, (especially start-ups and budding businesses) and it is also what what we use in the office. It is so easy to use, the interface is perfectly intuitive. It's worth paying for even if just to upload all of your brand assets and create posts with the correct message and branding with beautiful layouts! Definitely use this, if you don't have time to learn Adobe Suite, and you aren't a designer but have design needs; for a much smaller price than hiring a designer or social media manager, you can create your own content as you grow into being able to get professional help!

Cons: The drawback with Canva, is that you can't choose the size of the files that you save and export, so sometimes they come out smaller than you may like, and won't look good on digital platforms like Facebook (covers) or large digital presentations. I would love to see this feature added!

Pros: This is my favorite FREE graphics design software. It has a really bright and cute interface, which makes timely projects a lot easier to get through. I love that you can upload your own clipart and images, and even further edit them in the program. The fact that it's completely free is what I can't even believe. You can export into so many different formats, and it's fast. I have literally never had the program crash, even though it's a browser based software. If you accidentally close out, it automatically saves for you, and it automatically saves every 20 seconds anyway. There is a HUGE library of templates to choose from if you don't know where to start, and in the editor there's a HUGE library of clipart, shapes, lines, etc. Getting creative with Canva is unbelievably easy and fast.

Cons: There's nothing I don't like about this software. I mean, it's free! What could there be to complain about?

Overall: I have been able to create so much fun content for personal projects, and for my business. Being personable in my industry is important, so having fun stuff on our website and social media is important to break that stuffy barrier that we tend to deal with in the jewelry industry. It's helped me really release my creative side as a webmaster.

Pros: I was hesitant to try Canva initially because I was a loyal Adobe fan (still am), but it only took a few pinched deadlines to make me realize the magic that is Canva. I've created everything from social media graphics and book covers to logos and lead magnet PDFs for clients. The price is affordable and upgrading to a business account allows you to add your own branding and team members which is awesome. I have been pleasantly surprise and pleased with Canva.

Cons: Love the templates but scrolling through the "never-ending" image feed can be laborious. I'd love an easier way to search their images.

Overall: Canva has been a life changer for my business. Because it's packed with so many features, templates and options, I'm able to design projects in a fraction of the time it would take me to open up my more expensive software and try to figure out which tool to use to get the job done. I'm a happy camper with Canva.

Pros: Everything. I love how there are levels of subscriptions that allow access to various things. Even the free version comes with a lot of helpful tools. It's super easy to use and creates GREAT looking graphics if you spend a little time in there. I think the most helpful thing that they do is creating templates (both free and paid) that can then be edited to suit your needs.

Cons: Sometimes a downloaded version of an image with lines will have some lines appear in the wrong place. It can be frustrating to try to fix this issue, but it doesn't happen often. I also wish it were possible to resize what you're working on with custom dimension instead of their preset ones.

Overall: Graphic design used to seem like an impossible hurtle because photoshop can be complicated, but canva solved that problem. We use canva to create images for our website, social media and print materials.

Pros: It is a very easy to use free tool that allows us to design and create web content of all kinds; as posters, posters, infographics, documents, business cards, Facebook covers, graphics, among others. It provides a wide variety of templates categorized by different types ranging from a simple cuuriculum vitae to logos, infographics, presentations, publications for social networks and posters, among others; its excellent editor allows you to easily edit and modify the templates to customize them to your liking, with just drag and drop you can upload images, photos, also provides lines, shapes, icons or original illustrations that will help us to create creative designs, you can change the background, font, size, color. It allows us to download our designs in PNG, JPG, PDF and PDF format for printing. And something very important is that we can invite our coloboradores, customers and work team, which can quickly make revisions of text, for example, online. and something that I think is excellent is that you do not need design knowledge to be able to create beautiful and elegant web designs or print. On the other hand our designs are stored in the cloud to be able to reuse them later, and also

we can share it directly on the most popular social networks directly from Canva

Cons: that some of the photo retouching tools are limited.

Some resources are paid, although they are not expensive.

And that there are no lines or guides that allow us to know with certainty that our design is centered and adjusted with the rest of the project.

Overall: In my performance as a university student it has been a great help, because it has allowed me to develop design for the different web applications that I have built, in an intuitive and simple way, without having to resort to a web designer and also it has allowed us to develop group work in a fast and online way

Pros: In today's world being a dynamic professional is something extremely valuable and the fact that canva allows for creating top notch graphic content without much effort and without the need of a graphic designer is just sublime, the templates and tools it offers are really simple and complete and are presented in the simplest way possible to make working with this software a really pleasent experience

Cons: Canva is excellent, I can't think of anything bad about it, it is one of the best complementary designing tool for all of the presentation softwares we use such as powerpoint or prezi, they work amazingly great together.

Overall: Straight out of the box canva is a software that has changed the way I work for good, it is incredibly versatile and complete and I don't see myself someday in the future stopping to use it, it has become a crucial tool for me, I totally recommend it.

Pros: Canva is amazing! It's so easy to use and has pretty much everything you could need for everyday graphic design work. I can make graphics for social media, emails and blogs so fast. It saves me a ton of time. And they always come out great with the tons of templates and images to choose straight from the platform.

Cons: The only few things that I can say are cons is that the utility column on the left does not minimize inward. It takes up a lot of my workspace and I wish I could make it disappear when I don't need it. Also, if you're using a PC there is not an option for a grid to use which is annoying. Their customer service told me it's possible though if you're using a Mac. Also, occasionally the platform will bug out and I'll lose work if it didn't save. It hasn't happened in awhile so maybe they fixed that.

Pros: I've been using Canva For Work for almost three years now and what I like most about it are the templates. They have so many to choose from for various formats, whether it be for a social media post, an infographic, poster, or Facebook event. It's easy to work on a template and modify it to suit your brand's identity or design. The possibilities, are quite frankly, endless. Plus, you can upload your company or brand's font, logo, or other design materials you want to include in a project. Support is also great. Whenever I email a question, I get a clear response within 24 hours.

Cons: My only dislike is how hard it is to organize your uploaded photos. Deleting an image from your uploading files can take a while. As far as I know, there is now way to delete by bulk, and you will have to individually select an image you want to move to the trash bin. It's a bit of a hassle looking for an old photo you want to use because removing the unnecessary images takes a bit of work.

Overall: Canva has allowed me to produce various marketing materials in a short amount of time. The designs look professional. Plus, you purchase graphics, images, or icons you want for a minimal fee too.

Pros: Where do I start? I run my own company and am a one woman show. I can't afford to hire someone to create graphics for me for content that I need to create. Anything from social media posts to professional PDFs that I send to clients. I get compliments all the time about how professional my content looks. Even if you're not computer savvy, they have a free course that teaches you how to make the best out of the software.

The free content is amazing by itself and then the upgrade for business owners is minimal but offers a lot for the price. It's especially great if you have other people on your team who may need to go in and adjust stuff.

Also, the gif/movie maker is amazing. Whenever I post on Facebook with one of those I always get a lot of great feedback.

Canva is an absolute must to have.

Cons: Canva Print is too expensive and I wish we could manipulate the font in different ways, such as being able to make the words go around an image versus block text.

Overall: The software has help add credibility to my business by allowing me to deliver professional looking content, some of which clients pay for. It's been a real game changer for my business.

Pros: Canva does all the good things! Before using Canva, I had to hire out the silliest projects...paper handbills, stickers, business cards, facebook promotions, you name it. Now I can do them myself without having to go back and forth with a designer for days. I love the options of layouts, the stock of photos, the ease of uploading my own, ease of collaborating with teams, being able to make beautiful things without a graphic design degree, I just love it, feel like it's too good to be true all the time.

Cons: Nothing bad to say!!! What could I possibly say that is negative? Well there is one experience I've had where the "save" function wasn't synced with my computer and the pdf sent to the printer was an old version. The re-sizing function is still at graphic-designer level, unlike the rest of Canva. SO hard to say something negative about Canva but that's all I've got.

Overall: So many! Saving hours per day on design and saving all my energy for growing my business! It's fantastic to be able to have an idea and implement it in Canva right away. The files I create on Canva lead to instant "yeses" from leads and help communicate my company's vision in a way I could never dream of before. I make social media posts, handbills, resumes, sales documents, team planning communications, website photos, business cards, sales pitches, contracts, literally every document you could imagine and Canva makes them gorgeous.

Pros: Allows you to feel like a graphic designer with its features such as layering text over images, creating gifs, marketing pieces such as catalogs, etc. Definitely purchase the annual subscription that allows you to create your brand by uploading a logo and brand colors. Definitely utilize the fantastic design blog, https://www.canva.com/learn/design/- it will give you inspiration and great tips using the marketing images you're creating to engage and build an audience.

Cons: The one thing Canva could improve on is adding an organization feature to the All Designs section that stores the projects you've created. Right now it's one big library, but I would love to see a folders section to organize certain projects.

Overall: Our school has used canva to create a brochure for our schools, advertisements for summer and fall admissions; business cards for our Head of School. Canva makes you feel like a graphic designer that's capable of creating high quality work in less time than it would take in photoshop!

Pros: It's super easy to use. There is no ramp up time and it's low cost. I like have so many templates to work from and find the tempaltes to be helpful from a design and organization standpiont.

Cons: The dashboard needs some work. The product defaults to put everything into one large dashboard. Doing large bulk operations like moving a bunch of files into a folder or erasing a bunch of images at once isn't possible. It's a great tool, but if you're trying to use it frequently for a lot of different clients it can get messy quickly.

Overall: I am a digital marketing strategist and company of one. I do not provide "design" services although I find what I can create in canva serve 90% of what my clients actaully need. I use the tempaltes to keep my own deliverabels on brand, but also use many of the features to create social media content and visuals for my client's ads.

Pros: I love how fast and easy you can create graphics with Canva. I love the template variety and that I can create bases of their styles or from scratch. It is great for creating quick graphics for social media. My graphic designer is used by this application; however, it is all we use for social media in our department and I have used it for fliers and invitations for personal use and it is perfect for those needs. I love that I can create with very little stress and effort.

Cons: I am not impressed with the offerings when I upgraded to Canva for Work. The price wasn't worth the extra features. It wasn't as simple to change the size of a graphic as it was presented. This program will frustrate anyone that wants the ability to do detail work like you can in Adobe products.

Pros: I'm a user of Adobe Photoshop but for quick designs, I prefer Canva.

Canva makes it really easy to come up with eye-catching designs in a matter of minutes! There are pre-prepared templates, design elements and stock photos available for you to choose from for any kind of design you like!

I've always had a free account and that has been powerful enough for me but lately, I've been thinking about switching over to a Work account as the design needs for my business grows.

I've compared Canva to other design tools and still choose Canva for the value it delivers. Instead of buying an account for presentation templates, I can just choose from Canva's modern ones.

Canva's library of graphics, illustrations and photos make it my choice of tool for quick creations! Looking forward to upgrading my account soon!

Cons: One thing I hope Canva could improve on is including more Malaysian or South-east Asian oriented graphics. While I know the majority of Canva's users are from the US, having more choices geared for marketing towards Malaysians would be a nice bonus for users from over here!

Pros: Everything is good. What an UI, user experience. Easy navigation. Look and feel is really good. Canva provides you the platform to create an image along with the presentation and report template. It has some by default layouts with in built clipart kind of elements too. It has everything one needs to have to create an attractive image, I must say a creative!!!

Cons: Talking about the disliking point, It has some error while uploading a picture. It goes to some pause state sometimes and then shows, You are logged out and then we again need to refresh or login. Rest is just perfect...

Overall: Being in a digital marketing team, I need to make blog banner images and social media images always. Canva always help me in this kind of moments. I dont need to ask to anyone and I just can make the images, Presentations, by my own.

Pros: I own a marketing firm, and sometimes, we need quick, beautiful graphics for various items. We don't offer graphic design to our clients as we refer them to talented designers, but for our own work, we needed the ability to turn out gorgeous designs quickly. Canva allows me to provide clients and ourselves with lovely, functional and easy designs like flyers and Facebook posts. I also have created Instagram story templates for our marketing purposes. While we don't use them for our clients, it has been indispensable for our own marketing and promotion!

Cons: Occasionally, I don't realize a design is a paid design and not free until I'm partly through designing it. I'd like there to be a way to search the templates and the free/paid versions.

Overall: Solved our problem and saved us money, which allows us to keep functioning and serving our clients, instead of pouring money into quick and simple designs. Canva has solved this in an easy and affordable way.

Pros: Love that it's free! Tons of great free images and templates to pick from. The templates in particular have helped when trying to create things I've never made before (like company brochures). Totally customizable with font sizes, layouts, and sizing. The magic resize feature has been really nifty - used to spend extra time figuring that out, but now it just takes a click. I also use the team sharing feature so that I can share responsibilities with coworkers and we're able to refer to the same archive when one of us is on vacation. Canva also has an easy to use mobile app that I just downloaded, and it's actually been really easy and helpful.

Cons: It can take a really long time to get the sizing of specific elements right, and I always seem to struggle with the clicking and dragging elements around to different places on the page. (The trick, I've learned, it to hold your cursor just above / just outside of the element you're trying to move, and then it seems to pick it up more accurately).

Overall: Overall, Canva has been an invaluable tool for marketing and social media for both my professional and personal lives. I've used it for Instagram posts, brochures, business cards, and even an ebook. I'd definitely recommend this tool to anyone looking to create quality, polished visual products for cheap (or even free).

Pros: I like how easy Canva is to use. I have run multiple social media accounts using Canva to create the design elements. I can easily upload logos, image, and custom fonts to create one-of-a-kind posts without photoshop. The templates are already sized pefectly for each channel, and the re-size tool allows me to create one element and use it across all channels.

Cons: I wish there were more free elements. I love the stock photos, templates and illustrations I just wish more were at no cost.

Overall: Overall I don't know what I do without Canva. It's so easy to use that even my kids have used it for school projects. Canva stays up to date on social media trends and their templates are beutiful, engaging and I've had success on social media with them. I use Canva every single day. It helps me do my job and it's fun.

Pros: It's simple to use and has lots of neat functions. It's fun to use and it's an essential tool for bloggers and designers. I love how they also provide lots of layout designs, dimensions, and templates.

Cons: It's lacking in advanced functionalities that could be useful if added in the future. For example...text cutouts, circular templates, 3D texts. Also, the image quality is reduced when downloading in jpeg, so it's better to download in PDF then export to JPEG on another program. Also, photos only retain their best quality when uploaded the first time. It automatically saves the uploaded photo in the gallery, but it doesn't save the original photo, so the next time you use the same photo, it comes out a bit blurry.

Overall: It helped me create lots of great designs for my blog.

Pros: Canva brings a whopping heap of quality graphic design capabilities to any user. For beginners, or non subject-area experts, graphic design can be daunting, but Canva simplifies the whole creative process. The variety of design templates on the platform is very impressive, and the toolset is very adaptable.

Another valuable aspect of Canva is the blog/tutorial section, which teaches a number of very helpful design principles. Users can find the answers to most questions there, and even gain some inspiration and insight along the way.

Overall, Canva is a great first step into the world of design. It's no substitute for full-fledged graphic design software, but it's certainly a bridge to bigger and better things. Any user can handle this platform.

Cons: Canva is limited, obviously. A lot of the design templates feel samey, or follow trends within the market. This is obviously not a bad thing, but that can make it difficult to make something that truly stands out. But, there are so many options available, and the tools are quite flexible, that even this slimmed down workflow can still produce some stunning work.

Overall: Flexible, stylish graphic design made easy. Beginners can jump into the design world, and after only a clicks can be creating colorful, sharp content for their business.

Pros: Canva is an excellent tool to develop a design, it gives us a great variety of designs and formats to work and create your own design in a phenomenal way from our browser or from your Android application or always be connected with canva.

canva allows us to publish and share the design that is being developed and allows us to download it in the format we want for its use, such as: png, jpg, pdf ....

It has a large number of designs or templates to work with and covers a broad aspect of what you want: logos, publications for social networks, documents, blog, e-books, marketing announcements ...

It allows us to develop designs in conjunction with a work team where the rights of modification and verification are established.

Cons: When developing a design, it can be difficult since it has no guidelines. sometimes the dimensions of our documents can be modified slightly. You can enjoy Canva for free, but it depends on your use and what you want to do can be expensive

Overall: excellent software to develop a web design from our browser or phone

Pros: It is so easy to make an image look great! There are good templates to help get you started but additionallly, there are so many great graphic elements and photos that can be integrated into the image. Most of the elements are either FREE or 1 dollar each. What a steal!!! Also, so a small monthly fee you can pay for Canva for Work which gives access to some additional features and elements. One of my favorite features is magic resize which resizes images into any format needed!

Cons: Occasionally there are bugs that cause the graphics to not download properly. Also, it can sometimes run slow since it is a web-based software. Finally, I wish there were more options to manipulate text; however, this is not a deal-breaker.

Pros: First, there are endless possibilities thanks to the numerous number of templates, perfectly organized in categories (social media content, marketing content, corporate creations, invitations...). Also, you can customize most of the features once you have chosen a template: pictures, font, size, colors, forms... while keeping good-looking content.

Cons: You cannot customize easily some "details" that are not really details for creators: it's not so easy to determine the size and dimensions of the while you want to have, and you can't really choose the quality of the exported file. Also, some teamplates are so popular that you often find them on Instagram and Facebook, so you should pay attention to customizations to avoid that.

Pros: Canva is a powerhouse of a product! It has become my go-to platform for all my social media graphic and sermon presentations! ( just to name a few)

-Templates for everything you could possibly ever need to design.

-A beautiful selection of pre-designed layouts to help in the creation process

-An endless supply of elements to make your graphics unique and interesting

-The price point is phenomenal for all the value you receive by upgrading from the free plan.

- Great customer service

Cons: I have nothing really negative to say about this product! My experience with it has been amazing and it has ultimately cost me a huge chunk of money annually since it has become my sole platform for design.

Pros: You can use this software no matter if you are a professional designer or just a beginner. Through its templates and design options you can let yourself be carried away by your imagination. Thanks to its specific templates for social networks or web pages, you do not have to worry about the measurements of your flyers. You can design under the mode of collaborator with your group of designers, as well as you can classify your designs and add unique aspects such as your logo, watermark or preferred typography.

Cons: When I am using the tool from my iPad device, sometimes the templates generate errors. On the other hand, if I am using a template that defines the design background and then add my watermark, the design background changes to the watermark, this happens to me when I use Canva from my iPad. Although the paid designs are usually cheap, but the platform does not allow online payment methods such as paypal or foreing currency different from the US dollar.

Overall: Easy of use, perfect to put your mind on free and artistic mode.

Pros: This product is amazing! They offer a free version, a paid one, and the ability to purchase additional elements as needed at a low price. The free version offers amazing tools, graphics, and templates. Even better, if you upgrade to the paid plan, you can organize the things you've created and have access to even more elements. (Pictures, icons, templates) There is also an app that I can create on the go that is amazing.

Cons: Unable to locate the elements easier is really the only con I've found and it seems with the newly updated product, this issue may have been resolved. I am still getting around the interface, so I don't know for sure.

Overall: I would recommend, and I have on numerous occasions, the use of this product.

Pros: I love that it saves my last used templates so I can reuse them with new images and small changes. This allows me to keep types of images similar. I also love that I can resize my selected project to meet sizing requirements for different social platforms. It allows me to drag and drop and modify my images to fit and share quite easily.

Cons: I wish this product had the option to sample color from images or items (an eye dropper tool) so I could easily match up colors to keep them consistent. Currently I have to go to another software program to sample the color I want from the image and then go back and add it manually into the color planner to change it. This is tedious and my one main issue with the program.

Overall: I enjoy using the templates and making consistent social media images to share online. The magic resize option is fantastic and there are a large number of templates available to use in the pro plan.

Pros: Canva is intuitive and easy to use for the most part. As a marketer, Canva has lots of great features that I find useful for putting together graphics for blogs or website materials. Being able to create designs and download them as PDFs is very useful for creating ebooks/whitepapers. Overall a very convenient tool that does what you expect it to.

Cons: The support experience, or lackthereof, is terrible. I recently had a small issue where I tried to do something in Canva and it didn't behave as I expected it to. I tried searching the very limited support knowledgebase, and found nothing. On top of that, I spent 20 minutes looking around their support site as well as their main website - they don't post a phone number or support email ANYWHERE. There are no contact forms on the website or anything. So if by chance you have an issue that the support knowledgebase doesn't address, there is no way to get ahold of them. What started out as a minor issue ended up erasing all positive feelings I had towards Canva's product after searching for a long time to find a way to contact support directly and realized there is none.

Overall: Canva made it easy for me to put together marketing materials for our website, blog, ebooks, social media, and other digital content.

Pros: Canva is just incredible, the relation off effort needed to create amazing desings to the quality of the content created is one of the best I have ever seen, it is just so easy and intuitive that working with this software never felt as doing a repetitive or tedious job, it always felt like a fresh experience.

Cons: I would love it if canva's picture editing tools were a bit more polished, they are not the best I have ever used, I constantly find myself using illustrator to edit my pictures until I'm satisfied with them and then I add them to our canva projects.

Overall: If canva's picture editing were improved then it would render useless other graphic designing softwares, still it is incredible and I recommend it to any type of professional.

Pros: EASY! Everything about this platform makes it easy and quick to use. I can make professional looking flyers and graphics in minutes. The layout options are incredible and the ability to modify to your liking is great. I love that I can load my brand assets and have them on hand in the software.

Cons: I don't like that you can't download a sheet of business cards or 4 post cards to a page for self printing. Would be nice to connect with some Avery business product numbers.

Overall: Man, I am so glad I discovered this platform. I am a photoshop user, but sometimes there is a need for something "quick and dirty". Canva provides the highest level of graphics and layout in about 1/4 the time. So for quick as lightening turnaround time, this is my new go to.

Cons: I think you might grumble about the number of the aspects need payment, however it is easy to understand. And if there is an aspect that you truly desire however cannot pay for, simply download a png. image from in other places and publish it.

Pros: Canva is easy to use, never thought myself to be creative but with Canva I'm discovering a whole new side to myself. I have been able to create images in different formats by just magically have Canva resize it to the appropriate format. So I only have to create once and use it in many different formats for our social media channels. You can create book covers, posters, images for social media but also for Facebook events or LinkedIn header images and many more. You can also manually set the dimensions and work from there. You can also upload brand specific items such as fonts, colours and logos. You can use it for one person or set up a team so you can share design within a team.

Cons: In truth I haven't found anything that I didn't like about using Canva. It's always there and saves my design automatically. Saves me a lot of time. One thing I would like to see is a way to save my own used image dimensions.

Overall: Saved me a lot of time and more flexibility by not having to wait on an external designer.

Pros: I love how I can have an idea in my head, and using Canva, I can make it a reality. I also love that I may not have any idea on what I want to create, and Canva provides so many pre-made templates! Canva is super easy to use and figure out. You can upload your own images, or you can search through thousands of available images all through Canva. You do have to pay a membership fee for access to some images, but it is totally worth it.

Canva offers pre-sized templates for all your possible needs. Want to post on Instagram? Canva has a template perfectly sized for that. Need a newsletter header - Canva has that already available. So many options and the sizing is perfect every time!

Cons: Organizing uploads gets a bit tricky, I've found anyway, when I try to upload many at a time. But, images are still easily accessed.

Overall: I work as a virtual assistant and I make many social media images each week. Canva is so easy to use. I basically just find an image, pop in my preferred font and colors, and bam! I've got a social media image in no time at all.

I find it highly unlikely i'll ever use another software to create thumbnails, unless i'm working on bigger projects and need to use Photoshop etc.

Pros: From the start Canva makes it easy to navigate its menus to get you started quickly making what you need to create. They take out the guess work of pixel dimensions and resolution by providing tons templates to get you started from social media sizes to documents, icons and banners. With one click you are in the creation stage ready to customize. From there the side navigation provides you with pre-made layouts that are well designed and trendy. It is extremely helpful to have these options if you aren't a designer but even if you are it serves as a great jumping off point for ideas or just making tweaks. It's very easy to customize the content from the template - changing out font, background image, colors etc...it can feel like a different piece altogether - so great customization! Once created it's very easy to download your image and has recommended download type but also gives you other useful options. So from start to finish they have made it as simple as you can to create content without much complication!

Cons: One issue I have ran into stems from making more complex documents - specifically with regards to aligning text and keeping spacing consistent. After working in something like Adobe InDesign where it's very easy to get lots of individual text items perfectly aligned Canva is lacking a feature that addresses that. So as long as you are keeping text in blocks it's fine - but if you have to split text into multiple blocks it can be become somewhat of an issue!

1. Canva is super Easy to Use like you're drawing or painting on a Canvas.

2. If you want to update your Social Media Profile or you want to strengthen your Posts, Canva's built-in image size that will fit into your Social Media is great!

6. Struggling to map your Idea? Canva has a built-in Templates. I mean a lot of pre-designed templates. Choose wisely!

7. The Typography feature is sweet as honey! Texts can speak with your Personal Branding and Canva can help you do that.

8. Good Background Templates.

9. You can customize the size of your Design. Bam!

10. Strengthen your Marketing Materials in Canva.

Cons: In my opinion, I'm more on the Illustration and Logo Side and I would love to have more options and logos on Canva.

An illustration is the one I loved most but it's limited on Canva. I would really be looking forward to seeing more Illustration and Logos.

Cons: When a design is created in Canva, the dimensions for our documents can be slightly modified and this causes the originality of the initial design to be lost.

Overall: I love this software has been my best option when innovating, doing the best work with each of my designs and images. It gives me stability and security in the projects in which I have used it. My presentations are always the best since I've been using Canva. It's really nice.

Pros: Canva is a very easy product to work on. You can access it from anywhere since it's online, and it was created by a designer who wanted to make an easy to use, lite version of Photoshop. You can use it free forever, or upgrade for advanced features. Really, the free version has everything most people need.

The product provides a myriad of options for designing and exporting and is quick to load, simple to use, and easy to share.

It's also great that companies can add in logos, fonts, and custom colors for members of the company team to stay on brand when creating.

Cons: The only real 'con' I see with Canva is there lack of advancement in GIF creation. It's difficult to create a short .gif file because it's a long process. In this respect, Photoshop is better at creating gifs (if you know how to do it), and there are better export options.

Overall: Great! I loved it as a free user (personal) and recommended it to my company when we had a larger team of non-design oriented marketing people because of the quick set up and easy of use.

Pros: Since last two years, I have been using Canva to create images for every social media post. Being a digital marketer, I frequently have image requirements and Canva helps me create them in minimum time.

Cons: As such there is nothing that I dislike about Canva. It's just simple and easy to use but the newer version of Canva i.e. Canva 2.0 is not directly connected to Canva's previous version. So we cannot open creative made in Canva's previous version in Canva 2.0 version.

Overall: Canva is a must use image designing platform for anyone who is a beginner in this field. It has hundreds of templates to choose from. These templates are very well categorized in Canva. Also I can create creatives in customized dimensions.

Pros: Friendly versatile software for designing creative print and web materials of all kinds. Canva is extremely helpful to my team at work, where we have a three-person team without any team members trained in graphic design. I love the diverse templates for design inspiration, and the flexibility to buy single graphics/icons as needed. My team recently upgraded to Canva for Work to allow for easy resizing of designs, and for access to a broader library of graphics/icons. Canva is so user-friendly to learn and use that even my self-proclaimed tech-challenged boss taught herself to use it.

Cons: With the organization of the graphics/icon library, browsing freely can sometimes result in a long search... there seem to be many more icons than I have time to discover. Still, I'm glad the library is expansive and the search function works very well if you know what you're looking for.

Overall: With no formal training/experience, I can design high quality, engaging, creative print and web materials--for free or for a tiny cost.

Pros: - Thoughtfully put together UI / UX - Great features in terms of content library, stock images, design elements, templates, etc. - Amazing templates that provide constant inspiration & support throughout your design process - Easy to collaborate with team members, partners, etc. - Phenomenal mobile app - Nice organizational tools such as Folders which keep designs in their proper place for easy accessibility

Cons: - Designs when compared with AI (Illustrator) level work many times don't stand up in terms of quality - Web app & mobile app can occasionally crash or get clogged up, leaving you losing all the work you just completed

Pros: 1. The image design features are excellent.

2. Allows creation of professional presentations in a few quick and easy steps.

3. Very user friendly. You simply need to click a layout and add text.

4. Has a myriad of fonts, images, icons, banners and layouts to customize any design.

5. It now allows you to create animated gifs.

6. Upload of photos is as simple as dragging and dropping and can be customized easily into eye-catching frames

7. It is web-based and allows users to easily access their designs from anywhere.

8. Allows users to download the designs in many formats such as jpeg, png, animated gifs etc. But saving as PDF is very convenient as it's easier to present and offers a good, quality product.

Cons: 1. It often prompts you to refresh and leads to frequent lose to recent changes. This is the case when the internet connectivity is not strong.

2. If the design has many features, it will not save as an animated gif.

3. It does not allow a user to change the shape of a frame or resize it. It also doesn't allow changing the dimension of a defined shape.

Overall: Creative, bold and impressive designs and presentations created in the shortest time possible. My go-to design tool.

Pros: We use Canva everyday, multiple times. Everything seems to need a graphic and one that is different sized than the other. The features to resize and then move the elements of the image is a core requirement for content creation. The options for free photos and overlays for templates is also so valuable. And, ever expanding document types such as brochures, invitations, infographics and more.

Cons: Keeping up with the newly added features. But, better to have new features than a static product.

Overall: We use it for more than just editing an image. Creating all different document types make it a go to product that is solid technically and design wise as well.

Pros: Canva has the student/educator option, which is what I use. It is free save for some premium features like certain stock images/animations, and the free version itself is fantastic. I have created resumes, presentations, business cards, blog graphics and facebook covers on Canva.

There are seemingly endless templates you can choose from, which is one of the main reason I keep coming back to Canva instead of Powerpoint or Prezi for initial inspiration. Seriously, the choices are amazing, from minimalist themes to heavy and formal designs, there is something for everyone. Once you've chosen a template, you can customize however you want, from having control of the font, images, and designs on the template. You can either use the built in image library to get stock images and clip arts which are numerous, or upload your own images or even connect your facebook account and pull your photos from there. You are not limited by a single template, you can even mix and match, which is really great. Finally, when you are done you can either share via social media platforms or download as PDF/JPEG to your devices.

If anyone has hit a roadblock in finding suitable themes for your documents, try out Canva and I am certain you will not be disappointed.

Cons: As of now, I have no complaints or concerns.

Overall: A digital playground of creatively designed templates to give you that inspiration you need to get started making presentations and other documents.

A powerful entry level tool that will get the design job done.

Pros: Canva is a great solution for people dabbling in design or who don't consider themselves designers but need to create content. They help take the guess work out of sizes for different formats (like a social media post vs a flyer for instance) providing you with a giant list of templates to get you started. The font selection and formatting is pretty great and feels modern. The incredibly large amount of images to choose from gives you some good options to create something fresh and modern without having to spend tons of time to find an image on a stock website.

Cons: Don't get me wrong; the navigation they have is great - but once you are in the designing phase of your project the left hand navigation that takes up 1/3 of the screen starts to feel a little overbearing. If there was a button to hide it or even a command shortcut it would help put the focus on the design and be a little less distracting.

Overall: When designers on staff don't have margin to get to smaller projects we send them to Canva to try and create what they need. So far it's worked about 75% of the time, creating less work for the designers and allowing the "client" in the scenario to take full creative control to make what they are thinking.

Pros: Canva is awesome. I've used it for a few years now and it just keeps getting better. I love that I can churn out quality images for use on our website, social pages, blog, etc and not need immense Photoshop skills or support. The Teams function is great for just that - working with folks on your team. Plus, being able to add in custom fonts, logos, images and brand colors makes it a breeze to keep everyone within the brand guidelines. I hope to never be without Canva!

Cons: Sometimes the layouts and images they provide can get a little stale. Just takes a little creativity to jazz something up though.

Pros: Canva changed everything, I have to admit. It is one of the best and the most amazing tools that I use to create social media posts, banner ads, ebook covers, blog post images, and more. You literally have to no idea how useful it is.

1. It is free (mostly).

2. Extremely user-friendly. No hiccups whatsoever.

3. A lot of options to choose from when it comes to graphic size, design, templates, icons, images, borders, etc.

4. You can upload your own images and graphics and can work with them.

Cons: 1. Searching right icon or picture for your graphic is often times frustrating. They have a massive collection and database but lack of search filtration might tease you.

2. Working with layers and grouping isn't easy. I hope this particular issue will be solved soon.

Overall: Canva lets you create designs and graphics of all sorts at potentially no cost, and this is what makes it a must-have for any marketer. I have been using it for more than 2 years and it helped me save the day a million times. Thumbs up.

Pros: It is so easy to use and make high quality images for print, social media, email marketing and all forms of Online Marketing. I am the head of Online Marketing for a Membership Camping Family of Resorts and Canva is a life saver for us. It is quick, easy, and affordable! I love that they have added the feature of being able to order prints directly from them now!

Cons: This software is great for basic editing and social media posts. There are times when I need to edit a photo in a greater capacity that I still use photoshop on a daily basis for.

Overall: Using Canva makes Social Media post and content creation a breeze!

Pros: This is the software I use most for marketing and communication. It is easy to use, I've quickly shown the less technologically savvy members of my team how to use this software and they picked it up quickly.

Canva has tons of predesigned templates for almost any media size you would ever need. They also have a variety of free and low cost illustrations and images you can use to make the template work for your need. If you need to resize for different media, there is a setting that resizes your design almost immediately. Overall, there is no software as easy to use as affordable. Definitely worth the investment each month!

Cons: When the software is down it is difficult to find out information about why and how long the software will be down.

Pros: This is a great software for editing images, quickly creating PDFs, creating images and other documents. If you don't have access to Photoshop or don't know how to use Photoshop Canva is a great substitute. It's easy to use and offers hundreds of templates for pretty much anything you can think of. Canva also gives you the option to share and collaborate on your designs.

Cons: Some of the templates and designs can be a bit pricey. The platform also seems to be a little bit glitchy at times which can be frustrating when you're on a time crunch and need to get something created and downloaded asap.

Pros: Canva is great for graphic projects that need to be produces and ready to go fast. I love the template library - both for layout inspiration and for elements that are easy to insert into a layout I'm designing. Canva is great for collaborating with other staff at our organization and makes it really easy to share and make copies of designs.

The template library is also amazing. Many of the design template are great as is or a great springboard when I need some inspiration.

Canva is a great choice for our staff members that aren't as design savvy. I've used Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, and Inkscape and can jump from one design program to another with ease but it's nice to have a very simple solution like Canva that I can hand off small design projects to staff who don't have experience with those programs.

Cons: There are some obvious limitations with a cloud-based software like Canva. I will always have a vector and raster editing software on my computer for more complicated projects. But for everyday use, you can do very well with Canva in the place of more expensive software like Photoshop or Illustrator.

Another draw back is that sometimes another staff member will make changes to a shared design rather than making a copy first. This can't be undone.

Pros: Brand features like Brand colors and fonts Ability to edit designs on one device and continue on another Free design templates for inspiration on the fly Direct connection to social media networks to post Android app has been launched which makes Canva even better As a frequent designer, Canva helps me and my team design graphics on the fly. We use it mostly for social media and content marketing but it is also good for general brand design and brand identity. With a simple interface, you can get used to it within a few mins of using it.

Cons: Design options can be limited Its difficult to upload new fonts if you are an advanced designer Layout of files and design options great Some design options have weird names and make it confusing to look for simple things On the web app, you cannot search for designs related to a keyword but you can do this on the mobile apps. Canva is a great tool but it lacks some advanced features for designers such as having custom color palettes, the ability to add fonts from other sources and exporting with layers. Overall it is great but could be better.

Canva has a huge library of templates for all kinds of print and web projects, and an even bigger library of stock photos and illustrations. Another feature that other similar software programs do not offer is all of your files are stored online vs your own hard drive, which is convenient to say the least!

Cons: If you're looking for design tools beyond editing size, placing photos or illustrations, adding text and changing fonts and colors, canva is not your best option. It is extremely limited in design tools.

Pros: I like the fact that this software is free and there isn't alot of strings attached for using the free version of the software. I also like the fact that you can incorporate your brand and your team as well to make designing such this much easier. Having a cross interface between using a computer , tablet, or phone makes the use of it simple and on the go. For most things that need to be done via social media it is my go to .

Cons: The only thing I liked least about this software is that sometimes , it has a hard time when you put a photo in from your drive or folder and it won't go through . This has only happened a few times but it still allows you to drag it into the design but when you go back to the page it is no longer there. Its something super simple but can be an inconvenience from time to time.

Overall: My overall experience has been great with canva. Being the owner and sole employee at the same time can make my to do list very overwhelming , but with canva I can go in and I can excute my tasks quickly by using their cross interface or I can use one of the many free templates they offer. It is my main go to , to make things look appealing and fresh for my brand.

Pros: The ability to move objects, pictures, and text around within a grid, keeping everything symmetrical in such an easy way is something you expect to payHundreds or even thousands of dollars for. Canva Is by far the best starter program for graphic design out there today

Cons: I refer to this as a starter graphic design program because it's missing some features that you need to use higher priced software for, like removing the background of an image or cutting out or manipulating certain parts of an image, as opposed to the entire object in whatever image you are designing. If Canva allowed us to remove backgrounds from images we may use it full time as the go-to graphic design software as it includes practically everything you need to do adequate work.

Overall: It is so easy to use there is a steep learning curve like other graphic design programs. It allows someone to start designing within minutes with no prior experience in design or with the program

Pros: Canva helps even the least experienced designer (me) make simple and professional-looking logos, social media posts, and diagrams for my clients. It is simple to use and offers so many templates that I can take, modify, and add things to without compromising on quality. Also, I really enjoy that it's basically free until I need an upgrade..

Cons: The interface is a little clunky. Pages load slowly and there extra features I find unnecessary and distracting. Also, for some reason whenever you click on a link it opens a new tab. Also, you can't download a transparent png, but you might be able to on the paid version.

All in all, still 100% worth the free experience.

Overall: I have many clients who are only experiencing online marketing for the first time, whether because they just started their business or have only recently begun marketing on the internet. So they don't necessarily have the budget for logos but I still need one for their Yelp or Facebook pages. I use Canva to create these temporary solutions.

Cons: The only things I've found annoying are that it seems you can only add one hyperlink to block of text if you're trying to create a PDF. If you add multiple links, they'll all be the same. Pros: Canva is a versatile and innovative tool to design and create all kinds of web content. The best thing about this software is that it is completely free and allows you to create images, infographics, curriculums, flyers and many other things. Another of its advantages is that it has a very intuitive and easy to use interface, so it is not necessary to have extensive knowledge in the area of graphic design. In addition, it offers hundreds of templates and images, both free and paid, that allow you to personalize and give a professional look to the designs. Finally, another of the things that I also like about Canva is that it offers multiple options to save the final design, such as PNG, JPG, PDF, etc.

Cons: One of the limitations of this software is that to use it, the Internet is mandatory, in addition, generally the resolution and quality of the final design is quite low, so it is not the right tool if the user requires a highly professional result.

Overall: Particularly Canva has been very useful for me to create and design all kinds of simple images, it is also useful for retouching and adding effects to photographs.

Pros: Ease of Use, Some Free Features, Great Designs, Simplicity. It's always great to create all the social media graphics I need if I want them to look hip, since I don't have full Photoshop skills as of now. I recommend it to anyone trying to up their social media game if they don't have a graphics artist or graphic skills.

Cons: Sometimes it can be tricky to unpack some design elements to delete things like a subtitle to a main title, or get everything to match up. Sometimes it can be a tiny bit frustrating if a design catches your eye but it's a paid design and you aren't willing to pay.

Overall: I've been casually using Canva for a couple years for my own personal social media endeavors as well as business endeavors. Once I had to make a picture in an emergency for an urgent announcement and with Canva I did it within 10 minutes, and it would have taken much longer had I tried to use Photoshop, since I would have had to look up how to do things compared to Canva is, I believe, a tool any age group could learn within a relatively short period of time.

Pros: It´s really helpful, it has so many features that can work for any assignment, the forms and tools to personalize almost everything, I mean fonts, color, insert figures and objects... You have the possibility of create a flyer, banners and posts for instagram, facebook or any other social network, you can also create material for your company and personal events: triptych, birthday cards, gift cards... The best app so far, I mean it!

Cons: I would recommend to add an option that can allows to split and regroup objects and add more colors to them.

Canva is a fully functional DIY online graphics editor that is great for many purposes.

Pros: Canva has so many features and all these features are mostly FREE. You can create banners, collages, put together a graphical ad or even an infographic, and yet all such features are free as far as I know. The more exclusive templates and graphics are not free, but even then, Canva is so user-friendly with so many cool features that I don't hesitate to say it is the best online graphics editor out there. I have never had any need to ask their support for help, but I assume since they give so much for free, there is no real need to contact the support at all. I assume the support would not be responding too quickly, but I cannot fault Canva in any case!

Cons: As many features as Canva has, I wish they would add more Font types, and give the ability to fine-tune an image even more. Things like cropping out the background and repositioning an image can of course be added or improved. None of these are big issues though. Canva is still a great (free) service for doing your graphics work online.

Overall: I get to do a lot of simple to intermediate level graphics work on Canva quickly and for free. I have wondered how these guys make money and I hope the great free service provided by Canva continues on. I would not recommend Canva for complex work, but for the average user, I am sure Canva works just great.

Pros: Everything is great about canva! As an artistic-limited marketing director, it has enhanced my social posts, company branding, and design of all things company related ten fold. The product is so easy to use and I've recommended it to 10+ clients. It provides templates to use or to gather inspiration from and hundreds of different images and tools you can use to create a unique design. No matter what your industry or project is, you can find a use for Canva. I've used it for everything from logo design, flyers for parties, social media posts, HR organizational documents, permit planning, document design, TV displays, and so much more!

Cons: There truly aren't many things that are negative about the product at all. It is constantly improving to fix bugs or any issues users have and they always take suggestions on things to improve upon.

Pros: SO many things to like!

First off, you can use it for FREE! I love that you have the ability to share with your team, so you can collaborate with your fellow co-workers. Canva has a number of different design options for you to use or you can start from scratch and create your own piece! Customizing your design is so easy! Choose your own fonts, wording, color scheme, photos, logos & more! Pre-designed templates make your advertising and marketing a breeze! They even have options for each of the social media platforms so you know that your design with work perfectly in each platform! The designs print great so it is an easy way to make flyers and brochures as well! I can't say enough good things about canva! It's my go to for marketing & advertising now!

Cons: I wish there was a way to save multiple versions on canva instead of having to save each piece as I need to change dates/info quite frequently and may need to also revert to the original piece! It is a bit of a setback to have to redo the changes each time.

Pros: This software is available across multiple mobile platforms (ios and android as well as tablets), easy to use software, and allows so much space for creativity. You can share templates with the world as well as use some from inspiration. This software has a free option which can be used without needing to upgrade. If you need a few extra bells and whistles, there is a monthly and a yearly upgrade fee that is affordable! Huge image library, allows you to upload your own photos and icons, allows you to create a brand guide, and has many premade templates that you can use for your brand.

Cons: I wish the app had more options for mobile devices as far as editing and creativity but none the less, it's still a great product.

Overall: I can create many different designs ranging from images, icons, and even logos. I can take it wherever I go and it helps me keep my brand unified.

Pros: Easy easy easy and beautiful! It's almost too easy to be a graphic designer now. There are amazing templates that you can use and tweak, there are suggestions and recommendations, there are fonts, and signs and shapes and everything you need to create beautiful designs. Plus it's all online so you don't need to have the fanciest computer to get the work done.

Cons: Now there's no excuse for ugly design. Also some people may want something that they can use offline, as opposed to only having access when online - that could be a challenge.

Pros: Love love love this web based design tool. It has amazing easy to use, dummy proof design templates with a variety of options - Instagram, Facebook, print ads, flyers, Biz cards - presentations - Anything you like. Great choice of free imagery and if you watch to step up a notch - you can pay few dollars for a couple of great images. Can't recommend enough for anyone creating advertising or presentations. Great mobile app

Cons: Sometimes Instagram download version flips the image on a mobile device - so can get a little frustrating.
