### "Canva is great for business owners "

July 5, 2026

5.0

It’s great! I love using it for work— flyers, menus, presentations, stories/social media posts, staff updates.

Pros

There are a lot of options and printing is actually really simple and affordable through Canva. The print quality is always amazing!

Cons

The mobile app is so hard and nearly impossible to use on your phone. Especially when it comes to text and moving/resizing pieces of the document.

### "Easy to Use and Great for Quick Designs"

August 12, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience with Canva has been really good. Its easy to use, has lots of templates and makes designing much faster. I use it for different types of content and usually get good results without spending too much time. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but overall its a very useful tool.

Pros

What I like most about Canva is that it makes designing really easy and saves a lot of time. There are lots of features, templates and good image editing tools, plus video editing is also quite useful. It works well online and the overall experience is smooth. Customer support is helpful too, and for the features it offers I feel the value for money is good.

Cons

Some advanced features are only available in the Pro version, which can be a little frustrating. Also, sometimes the app feels slow when working on bigger or heavy designs. There are so many options that it can take some time to find the exact tool you need.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Express](https://www.capterra.com/p/174232/adobe-express/)

Reason for choosing Canva

I found Canva easier to use and had more ready-made templates for the type of content I create. The drag-and-drop editor is simple, and I like having so many design elements and images available in one place. It also takes less time for me to create something good-looking.

### "Very bad experience with Canva."

July 12, 2026

1.0

Very bad experience with Canva. My account was charged when the trial ended, without what I consider to be a clear and visible warning beforehand. For a company of Canva’s size, this is not acceptable. A trial should not turn into a paid subscription in a way that leaves the customer feeling surprised after the money has already been taken. What makes this worse is the lack of transparency around the end of the trial. If a company is confident in its product, it should make the transition from trial to paid plan absolutely obvious, not rely on billing mechanics that many users can easily miss. In my case, it felt opaque, unfair, and extremely frustrating. This experience seriously damaged my trust in Canva. A premium company should respect customers with clear billing communication, honest reminders, and no ambiguity about when a charge will happen. Instead, I was left with the feeling that the system is built to collect payment first and let the customer deal with the surprise afterward. I do not recommend Canva based on this experience. If you start a trial, watch your billing details very closely, because the subscription can become paid before you feel you were properly informed.

Pros

What I liked least was Canva’s billing transparency. My account was charged at the end of the trial without what I consider to be a clear enough warning beforehand, and that made the experience feel misleading, frustrating, and unfair.

Cons

Poor billing transparency. I was charged when the trial ended without a clear enough warning, which felt unfair and damaged my trust in Canva.

### "Empowering Design for Everyone: A Canva Review"

May 24, 2026

4.0

Pros

What did you like most about Canva? Canva's greatest strength lies in its incredible accessibility. It transforms the daunting task of design into an intuitive and enjoyable process for both beginners and seasoned creators. The vast library of templates and design elements provides a massive head start, ensuring that anyone can produce visually stunning results without needing formal training.

Cons

What did you like least about Canva? While Canva is truly exceptional, to fully unleash your creative potential and access more advanced, unique tools or premium assets, a paid subscription is required. The free version, while generous, does come with certain limitations that power users may eventually feel the need to overcome. Descriptive - Your overall experience with Canva. My overall experience with Canva has been remarkably positive. It stands out as an incredibly empowering platform that levels the playing field in the world of visual creation. It has not only simplified the design process but also inspired me to explore new creative directions with confidence and ease.

### "An Excellent Design Tool for Everyone"

July 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Canva has been excellent. It has become one of my favorite design tools because it is intuitive, reliable, and packed with useful features. Whether I'm creating social media posts, presentations, logos, or marketing materials, Canva helps me work efficiently and achieve professional results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use yet powerful design platform.

Pros

Canva is incredibly easy to use and offers a wide range of templates, graphics, and design tools. It makes creating professional-looking content quick and simple, even for beginners. The image and video editing features are excellent, and the Pro subscription provides great value for money. I also like how I can access my projects across different devices.

Cons

Some of the best features are only available with the Pro subscription. Occasionally, larger projects can become a bit slow, and some advanced editing tools are still not as powerful as those found in dedicated professional design software. Overall, these are minor issues compared to the value Canva provides.

### "Five Years of Reliable and Time-Saving Design"

August 2, 2026

5.0

I've been using Canva regularly for the last five years for social media posts, presentations, marketing materials, and quick design concepts. It has helped me speed up my workflow, especially when I need to create something quickly or collaborate with others. While I still use professional design software for more detailed work, Canva has become an essential part of my daily design process because it's reliable, simple, and constantly improving with new features.

Pros

I've been using Canva for about five years, and what keeps me coming back is how quickly I can turn an idea into a finished design. The drag-and-drop editor is easy to use, and the large collection of templates, icons, fonts, and stock elements saves a lot of time. I also like that I can work from any device without worrying about installing software.

Cons

Some advanced editing features are still limited compared to professional design software. Occasionally, templates feel repetitive, and many useful assets are available only with the Pro plan. Large projects with lots of elements can also become a bit slow in the browser.

### "Easy-to-Use Design Tool for Everyday Content"

July 26, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Canva has been very positive. It's one of those tools that saves a lot of time while still producing professional-looking results. Whether it's creating presentations, social media posts, marketing materials, or simple videos, the platform makes the process straightforward and efficient. The combination of ease of use, collaboration features, and a wide range of ready-to-use assets makes it a great choice for both individuals and teams. While it isn't a replacement for more advanced design software, it covers everything we need for day-to-day content creation and has become a regular part of our workflow.

Pros

What I like most about Canva is how easy it is to create professional-looking designs without needing advanced design skills. The interface is intuitive, so it's quick to put together presentations, social media graphics, marketing materials, or simple videos. It also has a huge library of templates, icons, images, and fonts, which makes the creative process much faster. For everyday business use, Canva offers great value for money, especially with the Pro version, as it includes plenty of features that would otherwise require several different tools. The image editing tools are simple but effective for most tasks, and while the video editor isn't as advanced as dedicated editing software, it's more than capable of creating polished promotional or internal content. Another advantage is that everything is cloud-based, making it easy to access projects from different devices and collaborate with colleagues in real time. The only downside is that an internet connection is required for most features, although offline access has improved in recent years. Overall, Canva is a versatile and user-friendly platform that has become an essential tool for creating high-quality visual content quickly and efficiently.

Cons

The main limitation of Canva is that some of its more advanced features are only available with the Pro subscription (although it's quite cheap). While it's excellent for everyday design work, it can feel a bit restrictive for more complex graphic design or video editing projects. That said, for most day-to-day business and marketing needs, these drawbacks are fairly minor.

July 29, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Canva has been excellent. It has made creating professional, eye-catching designs simple and efficient, allowing me to produce high-quality marketing materials for my business without needing advanced design skills. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and constantly improving with new features that make the creative process even easier. I also appreciate how accessible it is across different devices, making it convenient to work from anywhere. I would highly recommend Canva to anyone looking for an easy-to-use and powerful design platform.

Pros

What I like most about Canva is how easy it is to create professional-looking designs without any graphic design experience. The platform offers a huge variety of customizable templates, graphics, and fonts that make creating social media posts, flyers, advertisements, and other marketing materials quick and enjoyable.

Cons

At this time, I don’t have any negative feedback. Canva has consistently met or exceeded my expectations, and I haven’t encountered any issues that have impacted my experience. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and continues to provide everything I need for my business and design projects.

Pros

### "Best Product Out There"

March 26, 2026

5.0

I rarely encounter issues with getting Canva to do what I want it to, and sometimes it's a big ask as far as capabilities.

Pros

Canva is the ultimate design product for social media, in house document creation and printing. I am amazed at how many new features they have added in the last month.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about the program, it has stolen the market from the MS product I used to use.

### "Design Made Easy"

March 1, 2026

5.0

I make all of my slide decks in Canva and have even used it for video editing, in addition to all of the social media graphics, photo editing, fliers, business cards, and invitations I've used it for.

Pros

Canva really does make it super easy to design pretty much anything you could think of, both digital and physical. They've also made a lot of improvements over the years to make it even easier to fine-tune designs, and there are seemingly limitless high-quality templates available to make designing super simple.

Cons

I have a personal Canva account and have also been added as a member on other business accounts. Canva makes it easy to switch between profiles without having to log out, but it's not always easy to see which profile you are viewing a design from. And when I open a link to a shared design, Canva doesn't let me select which account I want to view the shared design from. This means that I have opened designs in the wrong account at times, and it was incredibly difficult to share the design with a different account. I ended up having to ask the sender to reshare the link so I could try opening it from a different account.

### "Canva for the Non-Designer"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Canva is a great tool for those who are not naturally designers or artistic. While many of the best features are paid, there are still a plethora of templates that can be customized to suit each brand.

Pros

As a non-designer, Canva simplifies the entire process of generating social media posts, invitations, etc. The number of templates already pre-loaded into the program make designing work less intimidating but also provides the ability to customize those templates based on brand colours or preference. In addition to customizing layout, the built-in ability to upload logos, photos, and icons allows for further personalization of each template. The ability to export the design in multiple formats is very helpful.

Cons

Unfortunately, the cost of Canva can be quite intimidating for a smaller business. Many of the most unique templates do require a subscription and the same applies to many of the most unique icons, fonts, etc. The only other con is that internet required to generate designs.

### "Review of Canva"

June 6, 2026

5.0

1 - Balanced and professional (ideal for general business use) : Overall, Canva has changed the way our team creates content. It perfectly bridges the gap between professional graphic designers and non-designers, allowing us to quickly produce marketing materials of high quality and cleanliness. Although its speed, extensive template library, and ease of use make it a necessary tool for our day-to-day operations, it does not completely replace the advanced control of heavy-duty software like Adobe Creative Cloud for complex design work. 2 - Short and easy (ideal for single or infrequent users) : I have greatly benefited from using Canva. It's my go-to tool for quick presentations, social media posts, and graphics. It saves me hours of work with its simple drag-and-drop interface and thousands of pre-made templates. If you need the Pro features, it can be pricey, but the amount of time it saves is well worth the investment. 3 - Focus on efficiency and teamwork (ideal for teams that collaborate). Canva has significantly streamlined our marketing workflow. The real-time collaboration tools and Brand Kits ensure that our entire team stays true to our brand without the need to send large files back and forth constantly. It has its limitations when it comes to offline editing and precise typography, but for high-volume, fast-paced content creation, there is simply no better platform out there.

Pros

Amazingly Simple to Use: The drag-and-drop interface is easy enough for complete beginners to use, removing the steep learning curve that is typically associated with professional design software like Photoshop or Illustrator. Massive Template Library: It offers thousands of high-quality, professionally designed templates for everything from social media posts and presentations to resumes, flyers, and video intros. Extensive Asset Library: The platform's access to millions of stock photos, illustrations, icons, fonts, and videos significantly accelerates the workflow. Seamless Collaboration: The real-time collaboration features make it incredibly easy to work with team members, leave comments, and share designs instantly. Time-Saving Brand Kits: Businesses can save brand colours, logos, and fonts so that all designs are consistent with a few clicks. Powerful AI Features: The background remover and other built-in AI tools like Magic Write and Magic Edit speed up and make it easy to do complicated editing tasks.

Cons

Limited Offline Functionality: Canva is primarily a cloud-based tool, meaning you need a stable internet connection to edit and save your designs. The desktop apps offer very limited offline capabilities. Pricing and Feature Paywalls: Many of the best templates, elements, stock photos, and advanced tools (like the one-click background remover and Magic Resize) are locked behind the Canva Pro subscription, which can be expensive for casual users or small teams. Exporting Restrictions: You cannot export designs as fully layered, editable source files (like PSD for Photoshop or AI for Illustrator). This can make it difficult if you ever need to transition a project to a professional graphic designer. Mobile App Clunkiness: While the mobile app is functional, complex editing tasks can feel cramped and frustrating on a smaller smartphone screen compared to the desktop version. Overused Templates: Because Canva is so incredibly popular, some of the most common free templates are highly recognizable, making it harder to create a totally unique brand identity without heavy customization. Rigid Text and Alignment Controls: For advanced designers, the typography tools, text wrapping options, and precision alignment grids can feel restrictive compared to dedicated publishing tools like Adobe InDesign.

### "If you can imagine it, you cancreate it with canva"

April 25, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience has been very positive. I have learned to use the application for a wide variety of purposes that serve me well—both for my business (creating content, editing photos, making Reels, videos, and cover images) and for personal use (designing gift cards, creating a resume for job hunting, or making items for my baby's shower—such as a printed menu with a QR code, an invitation list, and more). It’s even better if you have Canva Pro, as you can remove or replace image backgrounds, edit images in general, and do so much more. As I mentioned at the beginning, anything you might possibly need, you can create with Canva.

Pros

What I like most about canva is how easy to use for many things as a beginner. If you need a resume, template for carrousel on instagram for example, bussiness card, birthday cards and inpo and more. It's definitely worth the price I pay for all the things you can create.

Cons

I dont have any negative review for the moment, i enjoy creating all things for my business or personal life with canva. It was a little limited using the regular plan but after I get the pro version i dont have any complains.

### "Canva Helps My Inexperience Look Professional"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Canva has been very positive. It’s a fast, easy-to-use tool that makes it simple to create clean, professional-looking designs without needing advanced design skills. The huge library of templates and assets is especially helpful for quickly producing content for social media, presentations, and marketing materials. At the same time, it does have some limitations, especially if you’re trying to do highly custom or advanced design work. Some features are also locked behind the paid version. Still, for everyday design needs, it’s a very efficient and reliable tool.

Pros

What I liked most about Canva is how easy it is to create professional-looking designs without needing any design experience. The drag-and-drop interface is super intuitive, and there are tons of templates for everything from social media posts to presentations. It also makes it really fast to go from an idea to a finished design, and the built-in elements, fonts, and stock assets are very convenient.

Cons

What I liked least about Canva is that some of the better features and assets are locked behind the paid version, which can feel limiting on the free plan. It can also become a bit repetitive since a lot of people use the same templates, so designs don’t always feel fully unique unless you spend time customizing them. On more advanced design work, it also feels a bit restricted compared to professional tools.

### "Good Tool for Quick and Easy Designing"

May 10, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Canva is good. It is simple to use and works well for both beginners and regular users. The image and photo editing tools are enough for normal work and content creation. It gets regular updates, which is nice, but sometimes small bugs come after updates. Customer support could be faster. Overall, it gives good value for money and is a helpful tool for making fast and clean designs without much effort.

Pros

Canva is very easy to use and anyone can learn it fast. The dashboard is simple and clean. It has many useful features like ready templates, drag and drop editing, background remover, resize option, and photo editing tools. I use it for thumbnails, social media posts, and basic image editing. It saves time and gives good results. Canva also keeps adding new updates and tools, which makes it better. For the price, it gives good value because even the free version has many useful things.

Cons

Some of the best templates and editing tools are only in the paid version. Sometimes it becomes slow when editing big files or many layers. Customer support is okay, but sometimes replies can take time. Also, some updates change the layout, so it takes time to adjust.

### "It is a great tool for making quick creative solutions."

June 20, 2026

5.0

Canva really assists me as an Account Executive when I need to do graphics timeliness for clients without always needing to involve our design team. It walks the line between simplicity and utility and offers sufficient functionality to accomplish what it's designed for, albeit without fancy features that are meant for high-end design. In terms of price, it's a good option, but I do want to see communication when an update results in a UI change.

Pros

This is amazing for rapidly producing designs when I need ads or pictures to deliver new campaigns to our clients. The pre-made templates are really a time saver for me and I appreciate being able to make them my own to fit our station's branding. The image editing tools are easy to use and sufficient: I am able to resize and adjust photos without having to contact our design team, which helps things to progress.

Cons

It's good for plain basic editing, but I am less pleased with the fact that certain options are subscription only. It can also become a bit clumsy when attempting to go with more sophisticated designs that involve a number of components. There are several times I've seen features of the platform get scrambled, with nothing to say beforehand.

### "Powerful Design Tool That Makes Creating Graphics Easy"

March 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, Canva has been a very helpful and reliable design tool. It saves a lot of time when creating marketing materials, social media posts, and presentations. The templates and design elements make it easy to produce professional-looking graphics quickly, even without advanced design skills. It’s a great platform for individuals, small businesses, and teams who need high-quality designs without complicated software.

Pros

Canva makes designing extremely easy, even for people with little to no design experience. The drag-and-drop interface is very intuitive, and the large library of templates, fonts, graphics, and photos makes it simple to create professional-looking designs quickly. It’s especially helpful for social media graphics, presentations, marketing materials, and quick branding projects. I also like that it’s cloud-based, so projects can be accessed and edited from anywhere.

Cons

Some of the best templates, graphics, and features are locked behind the Pro subscription, which can be limiting for free users. In addition, very detailed or complex designs can sometimes feel restricted compared to more advanced design software. Export settings and file organization could also be improved when managing a lot of projects.

### "Easy, Affordable, and Powerful Design Tool for Everyday Use"

January 29, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Canva has been very positive. It is an easy-to-use platform that allows me to create professional-looking designs quickly without advanced design skills. The wide range of templates, image and video editing tools, and collaboration features make it suitable for both individual and team use. While it may not replace advanced design software for complex projects, it is an excellent all-in-one solution for everyday design, marketing, and social media needs, offering great value for money.

Pros

Canva offers excellent value for money, especially with its affordable Pro plan and generous free features. The platform is extremely easy to use, even for beginners with no design background. It provides a wide range of features, including ready-made templates, stock assets, and branding tools. Image editing tools like background remover and filters are quick and effective, while video editing features make it simple to create short videos and social media content. Team collaboration works smoothly with real-time editing, comments, and shared brand kits. Customer support and tutorials are helpful and make it easy to learn and resolve issues.

Cons

Some advanced features are locked behind the Pro subscription, which can feel limiting for free users. While Canva is great for basic and intermediate designs, it lacks the depth and precision of professional tools like Adobe for complex projects. Image and video editing options are relatively basic and not ideal for detailed or high-end editing. Performance can slow down when working with large files or long videos. Template designs are widely used, so projects can sometimes look less unique unless heavily customized.

### "I LOVE CANVA"

May 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Canva has been extremely positive. I personally use it mostly for work purposes, but I also use it quite a bit for personal projects as well. For work, I love using Canva to create cheat sheets, service menus, administrative guidelines, marketing flyers, and other cute but professional looking documents that help keep things organized and visually appealing. It makes creating polished materials quick and simple, even without advanced design experience. For personal use, I enjoy making birthday photo collages for loved ones, cute grocery lists, weekly errand planners, chore lists, and other fun customized designs. The platform is very easy to use and figure out, and the template selection is amazing. No matter what kind of design, theme, style, or occasion you need, you can almost always find something that fits exactly what you’re looking for.

Pros

What I like most about Canva is the huge variety of templates and design options it offers. There’s truly something for every occasion, business, holiday, theme, style, or color scheme. It makes creating professional looking flyers, menus, social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials extremely easy, even for beginners. The platform is very user-friendly and saves a lot of time compared to designing from scratch.

Cons

What I dislike most is the cost of the software, especially when you need access to the premium features and templates. However, I still think it’s worth paying for because of how much value and convenience it provides. Another downside is that when sharing a paid account or team invite, the invitation link seems to expire pretty quickly (around 24 hours), which can be inconvenient since the account holder has to keep resending new links.

### "Great for all types of uses, also very easy to pick-up."

January 9, 2026

5.0

We love it and use it on just about all of our advertisement materials. we've also come to find that it is very useful when creating presentation slides and we often use it to make social media content as well. We love the video editing options, image customizations and it feels like a very affordable software.

Pros

I really love how easy Canva is to use and how quickly staff is able to jump right in. That said, I also love how some projects can quickly become very advanced within the application which places it within a very select niche where it has potential to be a highly intuitive application.

Cons

I really wish the application worked as well as the website but I understand that there are hardware constraints there. I'd also like to see some more profile customization tools.
