### "A brilliantly helpful tool!"

November 27, 2025

4.0

I have had an extremely positive experience with canva, I’ve used it for years, through different jobs, for personal use, and I have never felt let down or frustrated by it. I would never look to a rival app because canva has everything I want and need.

Pros

Being able to create posters, logos, gift vouchers, and lots of other advertisements for my business for free is a game changer. Even with the free version you have more than enough tools to create things with your own flair and vision. Being able to search for templates with key words is a brilliant system also.

Cons

I found that recently a good chunk of images/stickers have been moved to the paid version which can be disappointing sometimes. Also I use the app on my phone and my iPad and I have noticed it’s slightly different on both devices which causes confusion sometimes.

### "Turned me into a graphic designer in 5 minutes!"

July 15, 2025

5.0

I love using Canva at work for all kinds of tasks - from newsletters to ID badge templates and banners for our intranet. There hasn't been a task I haven't been able to easy do and I love the integration of branding assets.

Pros

There is basically zero learning curve, WYSIWYG and it's so easy to start using. I love how you can integrate brand assets which made our recent rebrand so so easy. The range of templates and formats always suits my needs.

Cons

Almost nothing - it always does the job. Sometimes the photo/graphics library can be a bit lacking.

### "Canva makes it possible for anyone to make a creative, polished product!"

April 30, 2025

3.0

I enjoy using Canva when I don't have a lot of time to create a flyer or social media post or when I am not feeling particularly creative and could use help with inspiration. The templates available help speed up your projects and give you a clean, creative finished product in half the time it would take to create from scratch. You can also rest easy knowing you have permission through the program to use the images they provide, reducing risk and liability exposure for copyright infringement.

Pros

I love that Canva takes some of the time and effort out of making creative and memorable flyers, posters, web pages and more. It is easy to use with pop up tutorials. The program walks you through your project step by step making it quick and easy for anyone to use.

Cons

Canva is much more limited in what it can do than 'similar' products like those in the Adobe suite. If you are used to more advanced programs, Canva will feel very light in functionalities and options. There are very few photo editing options on this platform which would be useful when creating certain projects. It is not meant to be a photo editing software which is understandable, but some photo editing functions would be useful.

Reason for choosing Canva

We did not, we use both Canva and the Adobe programs, just for different applications. When I need to quickly throw together a cute social media post, Canva. When I need to deeply edit a photo or see a larger library of images, I will use the Adobe programs.

### "covers a wide range of desig applications"

March 30, 2026

5.0

Overall a great deisgn software and so much more intuitive to use than Adobe if you starting in design.

Pros

Love the ease of use. Coming from an avanced level of Adobe suite use, I must say I am impressed. It has it's limitations but for most applications it is sufficient and much faster for new team members to use and get cracking. Ai also likes that I was givnen a long-enough trila and even offered another free trial to get a newbee team member try it out , play around before comitting

Cons

I found the premium option (to use with 3+ team members) a bit too expensive to justify i for start-up teams.

Switched from

[Adobe Creative Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/48969/Adobe-Creative-Cloud/)

subscription for adobe was too expensive and the product has a rather steep learning curve

### "Wozu Alternativen suchen, wenn du CANVA hast!"

August 18, 2025

4.0

### "The go-to design and creative tool for non-designers"

May 2, 2025

5.0

Excellent tool for the average design user. Makes it easy for non-specialists to create professional looking content.

Pros

User-interface: Canva seems to be the inspiration for other design interfaces, which demonstrates its revolutionary design space for non-design specialists. Templates: Lots of templates for different purposes and channels to choose from for the paid version. The free version offers a wide range of templates too but you'll need to spend time going through the list. The free and paid templates aren't sorted. Graphics: The availability of a wide range of graphics for various types of designs you are creating. AI-Generated Images: This is an interesting feature as it feels like an image generation roulette sometimes, as with most other AI image generation tools. Sharable files: You can share slides directly from the platform and track views/engagement. Simple pricing model and affordable: Reasonable annual pricing and I hope they remain that way for non-enterprise customers to cater to individuals, hobbyists and small businesses. Brand templates: I like the versatility of being able to use brand colours, font and themes and ability to save designs as templates on Canva.

Cons

Difficult to find fault with Canva unless you are a graphic design specialist used to creating designs with more precision and flair, then this might not be for you. Limited features for the free version. Video export quality can be patchy. It sometimes distorts the original video (from Riverside) on export.

### "Canva is the greatest design platform around"

April 28, 2025

5.0

I came to Canva with little design experience and instead of being overwhelmed, I was instantly creating. The breadth of tools and apps is mind boggling to see offered and for such a low price, its amazing. I am a user for life.

Pros

Canva is the secret weapon that allows anyone to instantly be able to make professional grade content with a few clicks of a button. I have used Canva alone to create an entire business.

Cons

I wish there was an option to mass download items. We were often downloading 20+ PDFs and it would be great to select all the items and download them all at once.

### "The only design tool you need that is simple to use yet creates highly customizable designs for individual and team use"

January 29, 2026

5.0

Canva is one of my favourite must have tools for creating all of my design materials and professional documents for personal, professional, and educational endeavours. Highly versatile, simple to use, and endless options for customizability. Love how ease it is to create a resource and save to a desired format.

Pros

Canva is a must have platform for contemporary design! It allows you to create amazing creative and professional materials that look amazing without the time and use of Photoshop that once upon a time was necessary. I love the existing templates but also that you can customize your own template. I also like that you can create teams and invite individuals to view and edit documents with you. It really is a one stop shop for everything creative and design-forward that saves a significant amount of time.

Cons

My least favourite feature is how difficult is can be to search and find certain elements to add into your designs since the AI feature is not fully integrated and advanced yet.

### "Canva is a must have for Creative Professionals!"

June 12, 2025

5.0

I use Canva for everything, this software is very multi-functional. I was able to use it for some of my creative projects where I used Teams to quickly share graphic designs with my team. It is great and user-friendly!

Pros

I like being able to create and build websites. This feature helped me create professional portfolio websites that helped me land projects. It didn’t take me very long to do it, so I created different portfolio sites for each individual job I what I was applying for. I also love their Docs. I used Canva to put together a children’s book I published on Amazon.

Cons

Some of the AI features are still in the infant stage. There were a lot of hallucinations in the image creation part. But, as I use it I can tell they are constantly updating it and making it better.

### "A Simple and Powerful Media Tool for a Small Business"

December 22, 2025

5.0

Canva has been an easy-to-justify business expense for my small business. I can do what I need and I don't need to pay for all the bells and whistles that come with more expensive alternatives. It's also good at being a drag-and-drop, user friendly experience for the non-tech savvy.

Pros

Canva is an easy tool to use for making brand-specific media projects. I can hop in with an idea and generate my content with access to many different tools in a very short amount of time. The learning curve is easy. Another useful feature is the ability to integrate it with Social Media and post from inside of Canva, with scheduling available as well. It eliminates the hopping back and forth and file management needed to do it manually.

Cons

While it is good for basic editing I have found it best to utilize other tools for image editing and then import them into the project, instead of editing inside of Canva.

### "Great content development tool that just keeps getting better"

September 18, 2025

5.0

Over all, our team loves Canva. Users can quickly learn and perform within the platform. Templates save time by not needing time consuming decisions about design and material structure. Videos and animations can also be created with ease.

Pros

Canva offers quick creation of content through an abundance of templates. It is a cost effective option that helps create social media content even if you have limited graphic design knowledge.

Cons

Although, it does offer some quick filters and photo adjustments it is limited. The platform keeps improving but more blemish/corrections tools would be helpful.

### "Unleash Your Inner Graphic Designer"

Pros

There's an amazing variety of templates and features to choose from, and creating professional looking marketing materials has never been faster or cheaper.

Cons

As someone with a graphic design background, there are some features missing that are crucial for my creative eye. For example, you cannot resize elements to be different aspect ratios as the original shape of the element.

### "Canva: Simple and Free, but the Pro version is worth the $"

January 20, 2026

5.0

Canva has been a time saver for me. I can easily create a month's worth of content to help promote events for our non-profit.

Pros

Canva is extremely easy to use. Drag and Drop. Searchable elements with graphics, photos, videos, and more! Lots of free elements but paying for a Pro subscription is worth it for the additional content. If you're not creative, you can view graphics or videos made by someone else and tweak it to your own liking. I love how easy it is to edit the background in an image. If you have multiple people working on a project, it is simple to collaborate on it virtually. Canva also integrates well with other programs. I use it with Constant Contact and Yodeck.

Cons

While there are many elements in the free and pro subscription, I wish they either updated them more often or made it so you can sort the elements by date of creation so it makes it easier to use new items.

### "Canva, an awesome tool for easy and creative content creation."

November 24, 2025

5.0

Great! I use it almost daily for content creation and for sharing content like videos, job aids and flyers for team review.

Pros

I like how many applications it has that helps to create content in very easy way. The user interface and screen makes it easy to navigate the different tools. I like the video editing/creation capabilities.

Cons

I wish the photo editing or image manipulation was a little more robust. The same with the video editing. Its good right now for basic video and image manipulation but it would be nice to see it expanded.

### "Accessible et facile pour tout le monde"

January 25, 2026

5.0

Pros

### "Canva is Your One and Done When Choosing a Graphic Design Software"

February 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, I don't know what I'd do without Canva when I worked in marketing. It's a game changer and makes graphic design so easy and the quality of content you're able to create is fantastic.

Pros

Canva has been such a fantastic image editing software, especially as someone who worked in marketing for a school. It's so easy to just pick up and use, and the features are endless, especially with a school pro subscription. It's 100% worth the money, as I was also able to do minor video editing touch ups without needing to use a full on editing software.

Cons

I think the thing I like least about Canva is that it's collaboration tools aren't the greatest, especially when one or more coworkers or collaborators don't have great internet access. As multi-edits to a doc sometimes fail to update in real time.

### "Canva is the perfect design platform for Marketers."

April 16, 2025

5.0

Overall, ever since I found Canva, it's become a part of my repertoire for software. The fact that you can access so many powerful tools for image editing or creation for free has been useful for making things like presentations, business plans, or reports look better.

Pros

Canva is incredibly simple and intuitive to use. It also has everything you need to design marketing collateral, whether it's a document for a business plan or a presentation for a client. The ability to work collaboratively with others using Canva teams has also come in handy plenty during school.

Cons

There isn't anything I dislike about Canva, it's an incredibly powerful tool that can be accessed from a browser for designing. Although I would like a better design and support for tools like drawing tables to allow for even more design flexibility.

HELL, no one can cancel my free trial. NOT MY JOB. I must have emailed at least 15+ canva employees and it's not their job to help me. I have disputed their charges and, low and behold, they change their merchant ID to get around my HOLD on paying them.

Pros

The perfect simple alternative to photoshop. If you looking to just do graphic creation and simple edits this is the perfect tool.

### "Intuitive, Great for Both Beginners and Professionals"

March 25, 2026

5.0

Pros

Canva is very intuitive for beginners, but still offers advanced design and photo editing features for more experienced users. I once introduced the free version of Canva to a class of high schoolers who were able to create complex slides within 20 minutes of first using it. The free version offers plenty of features for beginners looking to design slide shows, flyers, brochures, websites, stickers, and pretty much any other visual you can think of. Canva works well with collaboration for groups too. Multiple people can work on a file at the same time with live updates.

Cons

The free version is understandably much more limited than the paid version. As a newly graduated college student, it is difficult to pay for Canva.
