Earlier I needed a designer for every poster. Now I can make festival posters, business cards and social media posts myself in 10 minutes. It saves my money and time for my small shop. Pros I like Canva best because it is very easy to use. I make posters for Kali Puja and social media posts with ready templates. Drag and drop feature saves my time and I don't need design skills. Pros What I like most about Canva is how easy it is to create good looking designs without having much graphic design knowledge. There are plenty of ready made templates available for presentations, social media posts, posters and other designs which saves a lot of time. I especially like the drag and drop editor because changing text, images, colours and layouts is quite simple. Another good thing is that i can access my designs online and make changes whenever needed. Overall it's a really useful tool for creating professional looking designs without spending too much time on them. Cons One thing i don't like about Canva is that many good templates, graphics and other design elements are available only with the Pro subscription. The free version is useful but sometimes i find a design element that looks perfect for my work and then realise it's a paid one. Also when working on more detailed designs, the customisation options can feel a bit limited compared to professional design software. Sometimes the editor also becomes slow when a design contains too many elements. Its greatest strength is that it empowers people to turn ideas into visual content without requiring expensive software or extensive technical knowledge. I particularly appreciate how it brings multiple creative functions into one place. Rather than needing separate platforms for presentations, social media graphics, marketing materials, and basic video editing, users can accomplish much of that work within Canva. Pros It's relatively easy to navigate, even for beginners. You don't need extensive graphic design experience to create professional looking content. You can customize colors, fonts, images, layouts, backgrounds, and other design elements to match your brand. Multiple people can work on designs, share projects, and provide feedback. Cons Because Canva is so popular, many designs can look repetitive or lack originality. Some of the best templates, stock images, graphics, and AI features require a paid subscription. Cons I could not work out how to easy store my images into structured groups. There are the concepts of Projects, Folders and Designs and I'm unsure how they interact. Pros The massive library of premade templates saves me hours of work when creating graphics and the drag & drop interface is incredibly smooth. I also love how it is easy to quickly resize a single design for multiple social media formats in just one click. Cons The mobile app sometimes is very laggy when I try to edit complex designs with multiple elements or video layers. Additionally a lot of the best premium fonts, icons and stock images are locked behind expensive paid tier. For a poster or a social media post, this saves me from having to build the whole layout from the beginning. The background removal tools and resizing options are also handy when I need to adapt a visual to different formats. Cons Even with the available templates, it sometimes takes a few attempts to get a result that really matches my expectations. The subscription is also something to consider if you don't use the Pro features regularly.
