And they are so difficult to make it professional. Canva has made that super easy. I can now make quality designs in minutes. It's helped me with college events, Instagram post, even resumes Pros Canva makes it really easy to design anything without professional skills. As a student, I use it to make posters foe college events, YouTube thumbnails, and Instagram stories. The drag and drop feature and free templates are super helpful and I love that I can work on it from my phone or laptop Cons Some useful features like background remover, premium templates, and brand kits are locked behind the paid plan. Also, sometimes it lags when editing large designs on slower internet. I love that it has template options to give creative ideas. It really has helped me with my small business so much. Pros Canva allows us to quickly make media ranging from business cards to flyers and promotional material for events. The drag and drop functionality and collaboration help speed up design creation for our team. Cons At times the tool requires certain work to be redone or duplicated because shapes and other forms do not translate between pages. Also, when resizing, all elements resize which is often not what is needed when changing aspect or dimensions. Color palettes at time can get mixed up. It’s powerful yet simple, packed with useful features (especially the new AI tools), and supported by excellent training resources. It is an outstanding tool that I can’t imagine working without. Pros I’ve been using Canva Pro for many years and it just keeps getting better! The platform is so easy to use, and I love the huge library of templates, images, and design elements. The new AI features are fantastic and make designing even faster and more creative. There are also plenty of training resources available, which makes it simple to learn new tools and improve your skills. Cons The only thing I’d love to see improved is the ability to filter images and videos to find content from the same series — at the moment you can only view other work from the same designer, which isn’t quite the same. It really puts PowerPoint to shame in terms of design and ease of use, although PowerPoint still has the edge when it comes to animations. Pros Ease of use anyone, regardless of skill level, can learn and use it. For example, I had my boss who only had experience with PowerPoint try it out, and now they use it almost every day. I think that’s a testament to how well Canva guides users and makes its software accessible. Cons There are some features I wish it had things that other software, like Adobe Creative Suite, handles much better. Cons Its a very specific thing, but would like to have a quicker access to layers. It’s not a big problem, but it’s always a bit of click here and there until reaching the layers tab. The capability to make the design is great even with the free accounts. And the main point is that Canva but for what it does has a free account. This is great for, not just professionals in the workforce, but also for students to utilize in their education. Pros Looks like about Canva is that it does have a free option to create infographs and that once you get used to the interface it is quite easy to use. There's a wide variety of options and how you want to design your infograph. The fact that Canva is just free to use with the option for a paid membership is really awesome. Even with just the free account, there are so many things a user can use in Canva to achieve their final design. Cons What I like least about Canva is the time it took to learn the user interface. At first it was quite challenging but once you get used to it, it comes quite easy. I can't say this is something I like least about Canva but with the free account, you do get a wide range of design options. I can upload my own artwork, and fonts (which I LOVE for branding and creating logos/promotional products). I have not had any bad experiences with Canva, everything turns out great as long as you know how to use the program (which is easy to learn). Pros I love how easy Canva is to use. There are so many options (for those who pay for premium). I use Canva to make business cards, rack cards, brochures, social media posts, logos, personal use, etc. Cons I don't like that you don't have a whole lot of options in the app if you don't pay for premium. I use Canva all the time, so I pay for premium, but if you're not paying for it, there's a lot you cannot use.
