So whether you’re using its features to build a quick slide deck to show the Sandler sales team, or you’re sharing a sample visual to send to sourcing or production, there’s time saved, especially since everyone can be visual and isn’t that a big help in fashion manufacturing? Pros Canva is also super helpful in creating quick visuals for reports, both to mock up visual reports and to mock up samples with annotations especially for quality checks. To have the ability to put in a garment photo, point out problems and label things clearly all without having to rely on the design team. It keeps the action moving without sacrificing humor. Cons It’s not great for pixel-perfect work or anything involving CMYK for print we still use Illustrator for production-quality edits. It allows me to be as creative as i want and they are constantly evolving and getting more and better features. Pros I love the ease of use for all of the features on this platform. Editing images and videos is simple, creating documents and files, presentations, there really are no limits. Cons Sometimes finding the right document I need to create can get confusing. They always update features which is a nice way to keep the program fresh. As an educator, it's free to use and a must! Cons Although I love the new updates, it can throw you off to have to master something new. Luckily, it's generally pretty easy to figure out and master. Cons Some premium features (like certain clip art images) are a little too expensive and cost more, even with the premium subscription. I use it for creating calendars, organizing ideas with bullet points, and simple graphic design for my business, and it’s been extremely helpful. I haven’t upgraded to the Pro version yet, but based on what I’ve seen, I definitely think it will be worth the investment as my needs grow. I also like that designs can be accessed and transferred to a phone over time, which makes it more convenient as you get familiar with the platform. There honestly isn't another website that offers everything that Canva does. It's an amateur graphic designer's dream. Pros What I like most about Canva is how customizable it is. Even using the free version, I can make high-quality posters, cards, brochures, etc. The templates available are endless. There is truly a design and template for everyone regarding anything. Another huge pro is that it's user-friendly; you don't need to be a professional graphic designer to use Canva. Cons What I like least about Canva is the use of AI that they have integrated into their company. For a system that is supposed to promote individualism and creativity, AI takes from that.
