October 30, 2025 5.0 My overall experience with Canva has been and continues to be a positive one. I've used to create pitch decks and so much more. Pros The value for it's money. Canva has such ease of use, great features, with image editing, updates, I have no need for video editing so I haven't had to reach out to customer support at all. I was able to use it for some of my creative projects where I used Teams to quickly share graphic designs with my team. It is great and user-friendly! Pros I like being able to create and build websites. This feature helped me create professional portfolio websites that helped me land projects. It didn’t take me very long to do it, so I created different portfolio sites for each individual job I what I was applying for. I also love their Docs. I used Canva to put together a children’s book I published on Amazon. Cons Some of the AI features are still in the infant stage. There were a lot of hallucinations in the image creation part. Pros Canva is a user friendly software that makes creating pdfs, flyers, calenders and advertisement pieces super simple. In minutes you can watch your idea come to life with a few simple clicks. Growing up I always wanted to master Photoshop, but I was often discouraged because I couldn't remember all of the keyboard shortcuts and could never figure out what tool I was supposed to use to get the results I wanted. Pros I am a massive Canva fan! I use it for any and all of my design needs, big or small. I love that it is user-friendly and easy to use which in my opinion allows for your creativity to flow more effectively. Cons There's not a whole lot I don't like about Canva, but I guess the one thing I would say is that it would be awesome if there was a better way to edit and manipulate graphics and photos you can add to your designs. Paying for pro, never had the actual features, support just promising, not solving issue. Following advice from support made all designs disappear. Pros Paying for a pro subscription, features not available for a month. Support ticket open after 9 days, no communication, no feedback. Advice from support deleted all the existing designs. When inquiring, standard reply, we will get back to you once we have a solution. After 9 days this is doubtful. What I like about Canva, it SEEMED a good tool, emphasis on seemed. Cons Open ticket for 9 days, designs gone after following advice from support, paying for a pro license, features have never been available. Muitos modelos de convites seja virtual, físico é gratuito, seu custo-benefício ajuda muito quem não tem condições de pagar. Nunca precisei do suporte ao cliente, por me identificar o aplicativo. Free version is limited, but it gets difficult when doing something for print. Our agency works on websites, branding projects and print marketing pieces. When we complete the work, it's amazing to be able to share the templates and some clear instructions on how to use them. Clients love that they can work inside of an accessible tool and not have to reach out to us for every little update. Pros I like that multiple team members and clients can be within a document at one time. It helps to have an online tool when a large or complex presentation or brochure is being created. Cons As a professional designer, it can be frustrating to have to work within the Canva constraints. It doesn't have color mode control or layout controls in the same ways Adobe products do. If you're creating a document for print, the working color mode is RGB and there aren't clear ways to set page margins, bleeds or automatic page numbering. It really puts PowerPoint to shame in terms of design and ease of use, although PowerPoint still has the edge when it comes to animations. Pros Ease of use anyone, regardless of skill level, can learn and use it. For example, I had my boss who only had experience with PowerPoint try it out, and now they use it almost every day. I think that’s a testament to how well Canva guides users and makes its software accessible. Cons There are some features I wish it had things that other software, like Adobe Creative Suite, handles much better. Cons Speaking of multimedia elements (photos, graphics, and so on...) you do not "own them" in your project. They are given to you with a commercial license.
