Pros I love the simplicity of canva and the absolute usability for new users. I also love the branding management feature. Cons I’ve found limited customization for advanced designs with can feel restrictive for professional users. I find something new every day that makes me like it that much more. Pros I love Canva so so much! It's functionality is so ahead of every other product so far that's out there. I love being able to see other people creations and use them in my own way. The value you gain for the small fee of 15/month is insane! It's easy to use, fun to use and the editing tools are great. Cons There are some functions that I am slow to understand. I would appreciate a Canva classroom that allows us to learn more about the functions in Canva. If this does exist and I've missed it then that's on me but I wasn't offered a formal tutorial as far as I know/ there isn't a section in Canva for learning as far as I know. And they are so difficult to make it professional. Canva has made that super easy. I can now make quality designs in minutes. It's helped me with college events, Instagram post, even resumes Pros Canva makes it really easy to design anything without professional skills. As a student, I use it to make posters foe college events, YouTube thumbnails, and Instagram stories. The drag and drop feature and free templates are super helpful and I love that I can work on it from my phone or laptop Cons Some useful features like background remover, premium templates, and brand kits are locked behind the paid plan. Also, sometimes it lags when editing large designs on slower internet. Switched from [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/)[Google Slides](https://www.capterra.com/p/178686/Google-Slides/) I used to design things using Microsoft Power Point and Google Slides before switching to Canva. Pros I enjoy the versatility of Canva as well as the ability to import your own designs or designs purchased from other websites such as Etsy. It is very easy to make edits and the premium items are worth the money. Cons I wish there were slightly more free options, but the premium items are worth the money in my opinion. Makes it easy for non-specialists to create professional looking content. Pros User-interface: Canva seems to be the inspiration for other design interfaces, which demonstrates its revolutionary design space for non-design specialists. Templates: Lots of templates for different purposes and channels to choose from for the paid version. The free version offers a wide range of templates too but you'll need to spend time going through the list. The free and paid templates aren't sorted. Graphics: The availability of a wide range of graphics for various types of designs you are creating. AI-Generated Images: This is an interesting feature as it feels like an image generation roulette sometimes, as with most other AI image generation tools. Sharable files: You can share slides directly from the platform and track views/engagement. Simple pricing model and affordable: Reasonable annual pricing and I hope they remain that way for non-enterprise customers to cater to individuals, hobbyists and small businesses. Brand templates: I like the versatility of being able to use brand colours, font and themes and ability to save designs as templates on Canva. Cons Difficult to find fault with Canva unless you are a graphic design specialist used to creating designs with more precision and flair, then this might not be for you. Limited features for the free version. Video export quality can be patchy. It sometimes distorts the original video (from Riverside) on export. Review Source Erick L. Best thing for me is set up sizes for social media posts as they are changing all the time. Cons If you are used to professional design software, this one is limited. I especially like the template websites they provide. Cons The only thing that I do not like about Canva is that it is difficult to navigate the conversion of projects between RGB and CMYK. It’s an ideal tool for my team since we need quick, polished, on-brand visuals without design experience. Cons Canva makes it easy to create polished, on-brand content quickly. I love the vast template library and simple customization tools. It’s intuitive and saves me time.
