It is user friendly and the user interface specifically designed for Educators has been a game changer in my classroom. Pros I love the templates and how user friendly they are. I also love the fact that I can use someone's template and then customise it making it my own. Even more important is that as an educator I can upload my lesson plans and other resources using the app and add my students to my account, so we can all work on the same project at the same time. It is very efficient and my students love it. Cons Some of the AI features are not as great as I would like them to be, but I am hoping that improvements will be made as they go along and continue to add new features to the site. It might be limited for professional designers but for mass use it’s just perfect. Pros It’s the simplicity and the free access offered by Canva. It makes design processes easier with drag-and-drop elements or editing some free templates. Cons Personally, I don’t see things I disliked. It provides countless templates for every holiday, occasion, or announcement. Canva is a diversified tool that is also embracing AI in new and interesting ways. Pros Canva is extremely user-friendly, with an easy-to-navigate interface, AI-assistance with designs, and can be integrated with numerous apps. This makes creating unique QR codes, finding the perfect layout for various types of social media posts, and developing detailed documents easier than ever. With Canva Pro, you have access to a large library of stock videos, images, and photos. Cons Canva's customer support is difficult to get ahold of. You have to jump through numerous chat-robot hoops and try every trick in your Google Search handbook to get through to a real person, and oftentimes, the support agent won't resolve your issue. Third-party apps can sometimes crash without explanation and with no ETA for resolution from support staff. Additionally, many elements are not as customizable as they would be with Adobe products (but that might just be the price you pay for simpler usability). Plus, the integration of things like a calendar along with new AI functions demonstrate the versatility and adaptability of this site. All for an amazingly low price! Perfect for solopreneurs. Cons Hard to find fault with something so useful. I don’t have anything I don’t like just things I’d like included such as gamification elements or more templates for ebooks, postcards, charts, etc. But that might also turn it into a different platform so, I’m good! The Canva tools and AI really change the game and now offer endless creativity that's actually accessible. Pros In my opinion Canva stays affordable. The subscription will cost you less than hiring someone on Fiverr for a single creative. Cons I went from freelancer to full time community manager, my company pays for the annual subscription now so I've got no more complaints about the free plan, honestly I don't even remember what it looks like anymore. I know a lot of other designers don’t like it because it isn’t ‘proper’ but it’s great for churning out content for social media or creating templates for clients (especially for tedious things that I’d rather not work on). The pro version also gives you access to lots of quality photos and graphics. Pros It works really well for design high quality graphics for people who aren’t good at design. I tend to use it mostly for my clients by creating templates that help them create on-brand content. Or I’ll use it for my own social content when I need to post something on the go. The stock library and elements available are really useful for finding assets in a hurry. November 14, 2024 5.0 Canva has not only made our lives easier by allowing us to easily design marketing items for our marketing program for our business, however it has cut down on our outsourcing fees for design by a ton! Now we can do all or at least most of our design work in house. It is magical. Pros I love the ease of use of the product, it's user friendly and really anyone can use it easily. When I'm not sure what to do, I just browse for the answer and so far have never been stumped! Drag and drop - drag and drop - repeat. We have the paid version and absolutely love all the options, all the photos and videos. Cons The only thing I stumble on sometimes is the navigation. Where to find my files. Where did they go? And I have to click and click and oh there they are! They are always there though. I have folders that I have made that are a bit difficult to find sometimes.
