As I build my brand I can see the advantages of eventually having access to more pro features but as a new business having a free option is essential in the beginning to keep overhead costs low. Pros As a new business the free version has been amazing for me to get my marketing started while I build my brand. Cons Sometimes it can be hard to design on the Canva app but I do know they have a desktop version that I’ve been meaning to try. The app is just so convenient I find myself using it. The video editing tools need some improvement. Pros One, it is user friendly - I do not struggle to use it. Two, it has a very wide variety of templates, which are so usable and helpful. They are especially good for social media and for multimedia content creation. Cons I cannot upload long videos to edit. I would like to add a lot of videos, like you can do in Adobe Premier. Cons Sometimes, I worry Canva might reduce work for graphic designers (though I have a creative background, so I understand design basics!). Its simple and easy to use to use however most of its premium features require a subscription, which isn't that user-friendly for everyone . Pros It's basic feature are free of cost which is great for beginners like me and its very easy to use . Also there is every kind of template available as it has a vast template library. And I can use it on any device of my choice, which can be really helpful if one of your device is not working. Cons While exporting the final design from Canva, there is sometimes a drop in poster quality. The images look professional and it's easy to get creative with them. Pros Very user friendly and easy to create personalised logos and images for professional use and can select a color palate to match company branding. Cons You have to pay for a membership in order to get full access to images, which are better quality. Sometimes resizing the shapes can be a bit fiddley, would be better if you have more control over the scale of images.
