Pros There are so many various, fun, unique experiences to be had with Canva. I didn't think it would have a feature for reading a PDF, but it does! Cons The fact you have to pay for it, I think it would be more widely used, if it was free, however, I understand the reason it probably has so many awesome features, photos to choose from and more is from the fact it's paid, probably. It's when you start making these programs free, the less likely for updates and relative findings. The photography edits (especially background remover) are fantastic. It's very easy to add pages, create duplicates, make quick videos, GIFs. Couldn't love it more! Pros The program has a ton of templates. The customization is tremendous with being able to change colors to match your brand. It's very easy to create cohesive, professional looking marketing material. They offer free pro accounts to non-profits so we can have multiple users and have full access to pro features. I love being able to share projects with co-workers and download in multiple formats. Cons I wish there was more flexiblity with adding guidelines. However, we have been informed by many that there are limited advanced features so not to consider this a 'professional ' software. Pros Canva is easy to use and has a lot of templates so it is good to start off with when going this route. It also moved pretty fast. This is very helpful to me as a freelancer and small business owner.. Cons Being unable to completely transfer ownership of designs. That is, no option for sharing and completely transferring a design to another user, without retaining access to that design. It's great that you can download print-ready files with crop marks, to get things professional printed such as flyers and booklets. Pros It's user-friendly - almost anyone can create something half-decent using Canva! It's fairly intuitive to use. You don't need to be a pro at design. Pros While it is bet with the paid subscription I had been using this for years, probably for 10 years and I got by with the free version until this year when it made sense to access more materials. It is easy and fun to use. I have made everything from flyers advertising school courses, to company newsletters. Cons Organizing and sorting uploaded images is probably the most taxing.
