### "Why Not Canva ???"

October 26, 2022

5.0

My overall experience since the last 5 years has been amazing i have used it for various occasions in professional as well as my daily work and it has never disappointed me

Pros

Auto saving of work, File synchronization, Easy to access pictures from the hardware, independent of the hardware .

Cons

I think the integrations of creating videos and merging the pictures and images as reels are the new fashion with adding external songs for the same. If partnered with spotify things might turn.

### "Canva saved our time and increased creativity."

October 11, 2022

5.0

Canva helped us solving ours and clients need. We need creatives every single days, we create our creatives from canva. We also do video editing and make presentations from canva only.

Pros

Canva has a full of features. It has a free plan for life time and paid plan as well. Initially I used fire plans, but later upgraded to paid plans. It's very cheap and very easy to use. Canvas has all the features as designer or non designer needs. It helped use making our social media creatives and video editing east and on the go. We can directly post to our social media from canva.

Cons

Canva is one the best graphics and video editing tool. Even a non creative person can design on canva. Very easy and simple to use.

### "The Everyman's Illustrator"

October 25, 2022

4.0

I was creating a workbook in a word document and shared it with a collaborator. I didn't hear back from them for a while and became critical of my work. I moved it over to Canva because it gave me the ability to design my pages creatively. It's range of use is only bound by your imagination. It is not the most powerful image editor, but it's not trying to be.

Pros

It's such a powerful tool for creating. I've used it to pitch ideas, make my resumes, create infographics, spice up photos, and I am now working on a book in it as traditional word document softwares do not give you the flexibility for page design that canva does. It's honestly just a fun space to create in.

Cons

Some of the elements seem to be stubborn on resizing, for example if you add a rectangle to the page, the dimensions can't be changed from 2x4, just expanded or minimized. I would also like to be able to have pages next to each other so you could view your document as it would be printed like a book.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Canva

I learned to use Illustrator in 2009, and was fairly good at it. But it's constant updates, high price point and complicated interface lead me to Canva. Originally I used it for social media content but have found so many other uses for it.

### "People's choice "

November 15, 2022

5.0

I haven't encountered problems in doing business with canva but for me, it's really useful when you need some help to do things that will give benefit. I'm thankful to be born where technology existed.

Pros

I've been doing editing for years and Canva is my new favorite app to use not because it's easier to use but it has been really helpful to everyone especially when makes business presentations, labels and stuff. I can also tell that it's a peoples choice.

Cons

Some of the features I haven't tried but so far everything on Canva is pretty good. Maybe the image library is not very useful but I think to other users, it really depends on what and how you use those for.

### "Avaliação do Canva."

### "Canva to paint your online canvass"

February 7, 2021

5.0

Overall, Canva is an awesome platform that has a plethora of functionalities that any newbie or advanced user can take advantage of. I also noticed that it is very compatible with 4 browsers that I've tested it with, which I think is a big plus since it is for online use.

Pros

I've used this for quite awhile now and this is on top of my list for online multimedia editing and source for Royalty free pictures, videos, and other related templates. I started out with just downloading pictures for me to use on my blog and for a client I'm assisting with website design. The pictures I'm referring to can be filtered through different categories to match the niche of your project. It has high resolution images which makes it very enticing to use. There's no strict permission to use it but I always send a message to the uploader and say my thank you for sharing such nice piece of work, as well as placing credit on my final project output. Because taking a perfect or serene picture takes hard work and a keen eye for details such as lighting, angle, and placement of certain objects to achieve the desired effect. Also, there are sponsored links for stock photos you can use if you can't find what your looking for in their 'default' library. Their video collection is also extensive which is very useful for creating intro videos for social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc. In fact, I also use these videos to create a personalized banner and animated gif image which can come handy for some of my future projects. And not only that, the templates are awesome which gives you command of adding text effects, transitions, and splicing.

Cons

The only minor thing is the inability to use it offline. Although, it is not so impacting because I have installed software to cover that part.

Reason for choosing Canva

I chose Canva because of the added feature of using video templates for my multimedia projects. And that is very convenient - it's a one stop online editing app. Before I forget, I just recently tried their comic strip template which is also nifty if you are a Manga type of person, or if you just want to toy around creating your own online storybook.

### "How Can There Be a Free App Like This?"

November 18, 2022

5.0

Excellent product. I love Canva. Though I mostly use PixelmatorPro for my graphics edits, I use Canva to edit and shift around elements for my book covers. The filters and ease of using the graphic elements make it a quicker product to use for high quality outputs. I've used this for personal projects, like creating wedding invitations and brochures, to church projects and invitations, to business projects like book covers and Instagram posts. I love Canva.

Pros

I like that it's free. I like the image filters and the specialty text filters. I like that it's online and I can access my work anywhere. I like that I can upload my own images and make copies of each page to do alternate edits.

Cons

I dislike the cost of the first level. Since there is a free level, I would pay for the next level as I use it so much. But I can't move to that level since it's still beyond my current start-up budget. Also, it would be nice to have a AppSumo lifetime membership to Canva instead of monthly tier membership.

### "The best online graphics designer with readymade customizable templates"

October 12, 2020

5.0

Canva is a very easy online designing app that delivers result really fast. From a promotional and online marketing perspective, using designs created completely within the Canva workspace enables me to save time and maintain a professional standard and consistency in all my final outputs. The readymade templates are very well-thought-out and I can easily find a suitable design template of my niche to modify and kick start my creation process, even in times when I am having difficulty to conceptualize a creative design. I highly recommend Canva for both amateurs as well as professional designers. Even non-designers can achieve a decent output with the help of Canva.

Pros

Before using Canva Pro, I was using Photoshop regularly and combining it with templates from Envato Elements. It yielded quality results no doubt, but it was a time-consuming process. I was not expecting Canva to be a replacement of Photoshop, but since I had to design lots of posters and graphic ads for social media regular posting, Photoshop wasn't the best choice. Canva really solved this problem. I can design professional quality graphic designs, posters, banners, flyers, brochures, invitations and business cards, logos, infographics - you name it, Canva has it all! Not only does it have thousands of top quality templates to choose from, I can also start from scratch and do a combination of different elements and assets, that can be selected from Canva's readily accessible library of millions of the best premium stock photos & videos, png elements & cliparts, and a vast collection of fonts. Another very helpful aspect worth mentioning is the ease of navigating and using the editing features and tools available within the Canva designing workspace. There is virtually no lag or glitches when you play with the dials of image effects and adjustment windows or when you resize and reposition, or copy certain design elements from one template to the other. The background remover tool inbuilt is probably the best one online, that I know of. All these wonderful features makes the whole workflow of using Canva layouts very convenient and satisfying.

Cons

Canva's monthly and yearly pricing for the Pro version are expensive to maintain. In comparison to Photoshop, I find the layering of Canva templates and the editing and selecting of each layer within a composition/layout, very inconvenient. When layers are overlapping, there's few to no options to modify and select individual layers with ease. Also, when I drag a new image into my layout, it snaps and replaces existing image and I have to really struggle to avoid Canva automatically doing that. A better folder organizing system for my custom uploads, with tags can go long way in bringing more discipline and efficiency to the workflow. The video or animation editing is very primitive, and even other basic designer tools like Placeit or invideo have much better and diverse ways of video creation. Canva still lacks a timeline editor window or keyframe animation, like that found in Pix teller.

### "A Review about Canva of a University Education Student"

October 5, 2022

5.0

Overall, I like Canva because on how quick importing and exporting of files is. At the same time, on how easy to share our presentations. Yet, there are rare times that there is having a problem with their server but it is very rare! Like I think I only experience it once a year. In addition, my favorite part is the many options when it comes to templates. Especially I recommend of being premium in Canva since it has more templates compared to free version. But for me, templates in free version has already choices to choose from.

Pros

What I like the most about Canva is that its interface is very easy to use to the point that I must confidently say that those who are not tech-savvy can use it easily. I also do not considered myself as someone who have a really good grasps with applications, websites, or software yet I am able to use Canva by exploring it unlike others that I must watch YouTube tutorials to really know how to use it properly. I also like the idea that everything important to do with the presentations are quick like exporting it, sharing it with friends or colleagues, etc. Also, it has a mobile application thus it is also accessible whenever there are urgent edit that needs to be done but you do not have your PC or laptop with your but your phone. Lastly, I must not forgot the very diverse and plenty of templates that is very useful for presentations to be used for certain occasions or a presentation needed to have a particular theme.

Cons

What I like the least about Canva is its feature when it comes to video editing. I only recommend Canva if the output you only want is slideshow with music on it, compilation of videos, etc. There are much more software or applications that is useful for video editing purposes. Still, it is understandable when it comes to Canva because the website's purpose is not really concentrated with video editing.

### "Save money on photoshop or high end software if you need to design for social networks"

March 9, 2020

5.0

Its been great, I tried the paying plan but didnt actually got to use it at full. Im sticking with the free plan since I use it only for quick youtube thumbnails or facebook posts that dont require more than JPG format and a couple of PDF files. If you plan to use it like that you can try the 30 days pro plan and see if it fits your needs. For me the free is way more than expected

Pros

The ease of use in Canva is as simple as a drag and drop. You can choose from a lot of objects like images, text, shapes and now even video and gifs to create an engaging post for social media. Since you have all the sizes available from start you choose your end use, pick the size and from there you just let your imagination do the rest.

Cons

For the free plan you get a LOT of benefits, but the problem is if you need to purchase or get a few extra things like premium images or shapes or export in specific ways like transparent PNG. The payment plan is kinda cheap and you unlock good things but the problem is the micro transactions of stock imagery which you have to purchase item by item and those arent cheap. I recommend to get the free plan and an external stock if you need the basic process. If you want to replace photoshop all together you have to go pro (of course you wont be able to do the same) but at least you get more export methods and lots of stock included.

Alternatives considered

[RelayThat](https://www.capterra.com/p/172915/RelayThat/)

Reason for choosing Canva

The problem with relaythat is that it has a lot of potential, but since it makes you do specific mockups you dont have a free to use software. For example you want a mockup for a diner, and it will give you space for 3 images only, but if one of those is rectangle and 2 squares you have to adapt the images you put in there. Its too strict on the use of images and stock and canva lets you do as you wish.

### "Plataforma Canva"

May 16, 2024

5.0

### "Canva - The Generalists Tool Kit"

September 12, 2022

5.0

It has been an easy transition with a small learning curve as many of the features work similarly to other graphic packages we have used.

Pros

The wide array of features, built-in apps, templates, ease of use and collaboration with the online / cloud-based resources.

Cons

There were no difficulties incorporating Canva into our organization, it was easy for our users to work within the cloud environment from any office.

Alternatives considered

[Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/)

Reason for choosing Canva

While PowerPoint was useful for many of our other graphic needs it was limiting in many ways too and difficult to obtain the finished results we were looking for. Often it took more work to achieve a result than we were wanting to commit. The solution was to find an app that was more general but allowed more freedom in addition to having a wider scope of possibilities.

### "Simple and Sleek design with decent functionality"

May 9, 2020

4.0

Overall Canva is a great program whether using the free templates and graphics or unlocking their super high quality paid templates and graphics. Either way you won't be disappointed. I've been using Canva for a while and they keep getting better. It's real helped me on my Facebook post to educate my customers and make high quality infographics.

Pros

This tool is great for quickly creating infographics for real estate educational pieces that you can post on your social media platforms. Canva has templates for all types of postings that are fairly easy to customize. If you know the look and feel of the design you're going for then just flip through their large selection of templates, select the one you want, and make the adjustments you desire. It's that easy. The functionality is limited but powerful enough for almost any task. One positive to the limited functionality is that you don't get overwhelmed with all the options like some other programs which leaves you getting stuck in an endless loop of trying to find the "best" font or the best transitions. It's a simple, clean, inexpensive tool. Also, the export and import features are great. You can import your own photos, logos, etc. and the export function let's you export your creation to a bunch of different formats for whatever platform you want to share on. It's a great program with a large volume of quality stock images, graphics, fonts and templates to tackle any presentation. It works seamlessly with our real estate posts.

Cons

One downside to the software is the difficulty of changing the location of certain items in the layout. It can be cumbersome when compared to some of the other programs out there to relocate items within the presentation. The only other downside is that a lot of the graphics and templates are not free so you options are limited with the free version.

### "Essential tool for online content creators"

January 10, 2024

5.0

Using Canva has revolutionized my business and made it SO easy to produce the visual content I need, beautifully and flawlessly, with a minimal investment of time and effort - which frees up time for other aspects of my business!

Pros

I've been using Canva for almost a decade, for everything from creating social media post images and Pinterest pins to producing professional-quality logos and printables for my online parenting blog/related ventures. Upgrading to the Pro plan was well worth the money because of the additional graphic/image options and added features, such as the ability to set/save custom brand palettes, fonts, etc. Once you know how to use it, it's super-easy to generate professional looking results every time, even without a lot of design background - so easy, I've taught my kids and their peers to use it for school and personal projects. The constant addition of new features (easy ability to curve text, background remover tool, and even AI generative capabilities) ensure it keeps growing in value over time.

Cons

The only downside to Canva is that it has a somewhat steep learning curve if you're learning how to use it for the first time on your own. It's not as intuitive as I would like, or as other graphic creation programs I've used; when I've had kids use it for the first time without much guidance from me, they have had the same experience. However, once you know how to use it, it's a powerful tool that delivers fast results.

### "Say Hello, Canva is Your New Best Friend"

September 7, 2021

5.0

We were not entirely familiar with Canva and why it was such a big deal, and now the product has become ubiquitous to our online operations. We've learned to develop excellent advertisements, products, reports, and had a lot of fun doing it.

Pros

Options. Some may claim Canva provides too many options, but we have learned to narrow the drive of our imagination's when creating certain projects. We consider Canva to be the Power Point of modern times because all of their project options and values are expertly organized and user interface, friendly.

Cons

While Canva hosts so much content, users may not be able to customize certain elements, requiring the use of other products.

Reason for choosing Canva

The moment the program is opened, we are greeted with countless options and opportunities to create something great. Other similar products have been dull, limited, and not entirely worthy of the coin.

Pros

### "Satisfied Customer "

July 7, 2023

5.0

I like that Canva will always be my main favorite, but I haven't found any other platform like Canva to make me completely switch over. It's easy to use; I like how smooth and not too complicated it is to navigate. I will most likely hire someone or learn to do it myself for more complex things. But in the meantime, I am delighted.

Pros

I like Canva because it's easy to navigate; everything is right before you when you log into the app or website. You can find all your projects at your fingertips by going to the sidebar. I love that there are so many temples to choose from. Canva also has a list of different categories to help you decide what you want to work with. If you need to work on something business-related, it has a section for that, for example, resumes, visual communications, etc. I like the graphical models that help me create a rough draft of a book cover design. I can go into Canva and start making a cover design draft.

Cons

It takes me a little slow to save my project to transfer it to another social media platform. The app could be better, which would include updating the website to make the app version easier to use instead of going back and forth from my laptop to my phone so I can change something when I can find it on the app through my phone.

Overall I would describe Canva as a superb graphic design tool probably best suited to small business owners, entrepeneurs or online marketers who want to create content quickly with design creations that can be easily adapted and customised to suit most platforms easily.

Pros

Quick and easy to use software. Canva has all I need to quickly edit photos, create logos, banners, ad posts or thumbnails for social media marketing purpose or other content creation, website or graphic design. There is a very generous free service that allows access to hundreds of templates, designs options compatible with desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Uploading, downloading and sharing my canva designs with other platforms is very fast and easy and the designs even with the free service are of good professional quality.

Cons

The free service can be limited somewhat when it comes to accessing stock images ,the more popular and attractive images invariably restricted to the paid option. The paid service is fairly inexpensive however and for those using their own images, these can be easily uploaded for use in editing and designs.

Reason for choosing Canva

### "Canva - A must for all businesses and influencers."

July 12, 2022

I really do enjoy using Canva, it's a great software especially for editing content. The drag & drop feature is great and saves a lot of time, I would like for them to work on their mobile app and maybe upload a few more templates. The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons because this is a great software that I see just getting better with time, I would definitely recommend this software.

Pros

I like how user friendly Canva is but I really enjoy the number of effects to enhance photos that Canva has to offer. It has helped me edit photos to exactly my liking with ease. The drag & drop feature is definitely a bonus. It makes it very easy for me to edit all my content with my own designed watermarks which then can be exported to an app of my choosing.

Cons

Canva is the best web tool I used ever till now. It saved me lots of time, energy, and money. Canvas is a very user-friendly and easy-to-use tool.

Pros

It is a very easy-to-use tool with everything described as picture-perfect. For a person who is not good at design canvas is the best tool for making a design. One of the best tools canvas I like is branding, content creation, and post templates.

Cons

Some features like a pen, and an eraser is missing here in editing. So if it is given then we will have less dependent on other tools for these features. I think some more file formats will be needed and a converter like pdf to jpg etc if it has then it will be great. Pro Pricing is high for beginners who come from low-income nations.

Excellent. Before using this platform, I outsourced all my graphics and content work for someone to use photoshop and now I can manage it all myself. Additionally the document templates and bank of free-stock images is far superior than trying to set up documents in MS publisher or word.

Pros

Firstly it is free for non-profits which is a huge win. Secondly the features and functionalities of this platform are endless, from editing photos and branding content for social media, to suing templates to create project reports and annual reports this platform has been hugely helpful and time saving. Not to mention it is super user-friendly and takes no specific skills or computer knowledge to use this platform.

Cons

This platform is great, the only thing I would change is that when you download multiple files it automatically compresses them into a zip file and downloads as a single file. I have not been able to find a way to change this in the settings, so have to manually click and download each file separately when it is a imagine to preserve image quality and ensure it can be uploaded correctly.

Reason for choosing Canva

Canva was free for NPOs and it took me a matter of minutes to familiarise myself with the platform and start using it as my main graphic design and editing software of choice.
