### "An easy way to give your business a clean and striking look"

January 26, 2019

5.0

All said, Canva really transformed the quality of my project's public face. It made it easy for me to design a seamless marketing campaign. I only wish I'd found it sooner!

Pros

Whether or not you have an artist's eye or design know-how, Canva is an easy way to produce high-quality marketing materials for your organization, or even for your personal use. Canva offers a number of templates for just about every kind of print or digital publication you'd need, from posters and flyers to Facebook and Instagram posts. Once you've selected a template or started from a blank slate, Canva makes it easy to adjust fonts, colors, images, and design. It's also easy to export your designs to just about any format you want.

Cons

Every once in a while, adjusting text placement gets tricky: the drag and drop tool just doesn't feel as user-friendly as it could be. I also experimented with Canva Pro for a while, but I didn't feel like the features were beefy enough to justify a paid subscription when the free service is pretty much as functional.

### "Canva is Awesome for Design"

February 6, 2019

5.0

My overall experience with Canva has been simply amazing, to say the least. It has really helped with the progress of promoting and branding my small business. I would recommend it to anyone who I think could use it. I also think that the monthly fee is really worth it, in the long run. Considering all the things you can do with Canva. However, one must operate with their own limitations and do what they must. Almost all good apps and programs of today look for ways to make extra money off of their users. It's our jobs and responsibilities as thier customers and users to decide what we must have and what we can do without.

Pros

For anyone who's looking into branding or just using social media regularly. I would definitely recommend this to all of you. It even provides you with thousands of personalizable templates and hundreds of fonts and design colors and options. For almost anything that you could imagine. Their file sizes are already sought out for you and labeled as needed for your usage.

Cons

The only con(s) I could think of would be you have to pay a small monthly fee for usage of all the key features and the little bit of limited-ability that goes along with using this app, program, or site. I would Canva over anything that I know of still. Dispite these small inconviniences .

### "Canva- Create professional quality marketing materials in a snap!"

December 11, 2019

5.0

I cannot recommend Canva highly enough. I would have never thought that I would be capable of producing all of my own market materials, from logos to business cards, to fliers and social media posts, but Canva has helped me unlock my inner graphic designer. I have used this software to do a complete rebranding of my company's social media sites and promotional materials, all at no cost!

Pros

Canva's number one selling point is the ease of use and its wide database of templates. You can create virtually any marketing material that you set your mind to using their vast array of premade, completely customizable materials. I've created everything from bookmarks, to menus, to fliers, to business cards and Instagram posts. The only limit to what you can successfully create in Canva is your imagination! Canva also offers a large selection of fonts, colors, and elements (ie insertable frames, grids, charts, stickers, etc.) that can be added and customized to your preference. You can even upload your own images free of charge! Canva allows even the most inexperienced user to create beautiful, professional-quality marketing materials.

Cons

Honestly, this software has very few flaws; and none that are detrimental enough to keep me from recommending the product. When I first began using the software, there were very few text elements or insertable art/graphics that were not available for free. As Canva has re-tooled its Canva Pro program, I find that there is an increasing number of graphics that must be purchased or are only available to Pro members. However, Canva still allows you to upload your own graphics, so there is an easy workaround. If you can invest in the Pro program, I do highly recommend the upgrade as it does increase ease of use, but even the free tool blows other competitors out of the water!

### "A website for the development of graphic projects"

October 16, 2022

5.0

It is an excellent program for graphic processing, which allows you to create complex projects with a high visual impact in a simple and immediate way.

Pros

Canva is a great website: they have managed to create a web product that allows simple and effective graphic processing of flyers, business cards, presentations, short videos, elements for websites, etc. Its simplicity is one of the main features and the projects obtained are of sure impact, with a professional appearance. So even in the free version, it is a website that deserves to be used for many uses.

Cons

I don't think it is possible to import files from Microsoft Publisher, Scribus, Adobe Indesign, etc.

### "Canva helps me to make social media posts for any network quicker with their free templates "

September 17, 2019

5.0

Overall, Canva is a great app to get some of your work done. The app allows you to access hundreds of templates with the touch of a search bar and allows for a quick process overall. If you're looking to make professional posts, or create email invitations, this app has limitless potential. While it may have some drawbacks, once you work around them the app proves to be extremely useful.

Pros

The Canva app allows users to customize templates for any occasion. If you need a fancy post for an upcoming sale on Instagram, the Canva app is a great place to start. The best feature of this app is wide selection of templates and the fact that it is totally free for all users. The search tool makes it extremely easy to navigate the app, and you can definitely find whatever you're looking for with ease. The software is great for getting quick posts, or anything else you may need to be completed right on your mobile device. The software also has a great feature that allows you to save your templates, and template drafts, onto a dashboard for easy access. From there, it is also very simple to get the image downloaded to your device.

Cons

Canva might be a great app, but there are definitely some areas for improvement. The first one being the templates themselves. Canva does a great job setting the baseline, but that tends to be where the software stops. It is very difficult to adjust the location of the text you place in the text box, and it can be impossible to see what you're writing if you use an android device. Another issue that you'll notice is that the app has a lot of their best templates listed with a coin symbol below them. What does this mean? Well, it means that you have to pay up if you want access to the best templates.

### "Practical and very easy-to-use app"

January 17, 2024

My experience with Canva is positive, I observe that it has always been improving, every day it is better, I ask you to heed the suggestions to release other tools for free.

Pros

I like the practicality, ease of use, and the various tools that Canva makes available for free.

Cons

Canva could have more practical and efficient tools made available for free.

### "My go-to design program!"

May 22, 2020

5.0

Overall, I am a big fan of Canva and will continue using it as my go-to design software! Even with the app glitches, I have had a very good experience with it.

Pros

I have used so many different design programs over the years, and Canvas by far gets my vote. I use the paid version and love that I have access to so many different templates, media, etc. It is so versatile and I use it daily for social media post templates, Instagram stories, etc. I love how easy it is to edit--it's very user-friendly and new users can figure it out quickly. I especially appreciate the "brand kit" option where I can store our company logo, colors, etc. You can also input your own fonts which I really love.

Cons

I've used the app for about two years now, and over that time I have experienced a variety of glitches with the app version. They usually go in and fix these glitches, but it has still been frustrating to have the app constantly crash/not be able to save your work from the app.

### "Design hack for non-designers"

April 29, 2019

5.0

The only thing that makes me sad about Canva is how quickly it turns almost anyone into a designer. I'll practically be out of a job soon.

Pros

My boss says design is the new visual rhetoric. Basically, things need to look good now. Before the existence of Canva, I might have despaired since that meant all the design work came my way. But with the advent of Canva, people on the team I would never have imagined could produce something halfway decent are suddenly turning out very respectable designs. The abundance of templates and elements is the closest thing to plug and play design I've ever seen that actually works. Of course, an experienced designer can build from the ground up, but for those who have relatively little design expertise, they can stick to the templates and go far.

Cons

The limitations of Canva aren't readily apparent on the surface, but they are there. For example, it's not optimized for handling lots of text. You can't change font faces within a text box, so there's lots of copy/pasting involved. The background design elements can also be a bit clunky to work with as well. But the templates show the hacks and you can copy them. Free users will quickly get annoyed at how many elements are behind a paywall. The upgrade is definitely worth it, at the very minimum to save you time. Export options for your designs are minimal, but cover the basics.

### "Canva is a very intuitive application that delivers much higher quality"

July 22, 2023

5.0

I use Canva in my daily life, I have already created several e-books that I think to market them later this year, I have already created my son's baby shower invitation and various content for my social media and my company, since I started using this app in my presentations I feel that my content is more professional.

Pros

If you are looking for an app and very intuitive to create your digital or physical content, I would definitely recommend Canva, I like and use it a lot in the creation of my digital content, such as posts for Instagram and social networks in general, work presentation, creation of e-books and prints, having options of quality templates ready to use with an editing option optimizes my time a lot, the images available are also of excellent quality in general Canva is a very complete app, I use it and recommend it.

Cons

I have not yet found a negative point, perhaps the fact of having to pay to have more options to use, more in the free version there are many options.

### "Canva is to the cloud what design software has been to the desktop!"

August 20, 2018

4.0

Overall, Canva is to the cloud what design software has been to the desktop. Even though they offer a premium version with more bells and whistles, what Canva gives the community in its free version is valuable. You can jump right in and start creating. For more sophisticated designs, you'll have a learning curve but it's well worth the effort.

Pros

Canva design software has taken the best design tools -- previously only in the purview of graphics professionals -- and placed them in the hands of regular folk with a creative flair. They've made it easier for me to visualize and bring to life ideas I have for banners and posters and cards. And more often than not, I don't actually have an idea -- Canva provides so many samples and examples across all the spaces where I need a design, it's a no-brainer! Although I use a desktop design application (GIMP) for creating graphics for articles and making pretty text titles (for ebooks or reports), I turn to Canva for banners and graphics for Twitter, Facebook or cards. I like that I can upload my own images. Downloading your final creation in a few different formats is a useful feature. It saves a little time converting it into another format on the other end. For teachers, Canva has created an entire culture for sharing and learning new ways to use Canva in the classroom. Instructors post some truly creative instructables, including full lesson plans and example outcomes.

Cons

Sometimes it seems like my layers disappear or it's hard to re-focus on a layer that's under other layers. This is probably less of a "con" or flaw in the Canva system and more about how design software handles layering. I'd like to see better organization of images, especially free images, so I can find those I like easier.

Pros

canva is a fantastic platform, with simple and practical features.n design models and posters, self-explative at the time of editing and intuitive for the standardization of them.simply amazing.

Cons

resources how to remove the background of the image leaves to be desired in some aspects like: corners and circles.

### "Great for beginners"

September 28, 2022

5.0

I love canva, how simple it is to use and how much options there are in terms of templates available. It just keeps getting better and better, you can now print flyers, notebooks and stickers right after you have finished your design. I was also send lovely emails thanking me for being with them for so long, I also received a certificate once I had reached 200 designs made in canva

Pros

It's easy to use and figure out, you end up with professional looking graphics even when you have no experience with graphic design.

Cons

You cannot resize your designs unless you have the pro version, e.g change from Instagram post to an a4 flyer. Although you get quite a lot of choice with the free version, a lot of the graphics and fonts I liked where labeled 'pro'. You can pay for these individually on the free version with what felt like complicated licencing rules or upgrade to the pro version for a monthly fee.

Reason for choosing Canva

I didn't manage to figure them out, they seemed to be for professionals

### "The easiest design tool out there!"

November 21, 2018

5.0

As a marketer and advertiser, I am constantly in need of new and exciting graphics. I design something new almost daily. Canva helps with this immensely as it's efficient and easy to use. If I had to use Adobe every time I wanted to create something, it would take up far too much of my time. I do of course use Adobe for the more complex stuff but Canva will cover 95% of your needs. It also automatically saves your designs so you can come back and make edits/duplications and the exporting of newly created designs is so so easy!

Pros

What's not to like!? It's a fantastic online graphic design tool which can cover all of your basic design and editing needs! If you need to create any sort of graphic and do not have the pro adobe softwares (or the skills), Canva is your godsend! The ease with which you can create beautifully designed images and logos is amazing. It's fast, well designed, intuitive, and very easy to use! So I guess my final answer is ease of use.

Cons

Customer service is not the greatest. They can sometimes take a while to get back to you but your issue/question will be resolved eventually.

### "Canva Is The Best! "

December 2, 2019

5.0

Like I previously mentioned, I absolutely love Canva for its functionality and the time that I save from creating things from scratch.

Pros

I absolutely LOVE Canva! For those of us who work in a creative capacity, Canva saves me so much time and space on my computer. The provided templates allow me to create social media posts, flyers, etc on the fly. All I have to do is upload my images, adjust the hex values and fonts! This saves me time from creating everything from scratch. I also love that I can download or create on the go!

Cons

One thing that I would love to see Canva improve upon such as a way for me to organize my designs. As someone who is a frequent user, I have so many designs along with working drafts. To see what I have created in the past, I have to scroll way down the "All Of Your Designs" page to see my projects. I would love it if Canva would create a way for me to organize them in folders on \*that\* page, i.e. create a folder titled "WIP" as an example and then drag and drop my items.

### "I Love Canva - Easy to use online design tool & App"

July 22, 2019

5.0

I love Canva, I use it daily both for my full time job and for my side projects and helps me to create really great documents. It takes alot of the hard work out of getting started with a project and looking through the various templates can help inspire my own work.

Pros

Since I started using Canva about 3 years ago it has changed how I do things forever - for the better! Unbelievably easy to use and you can create very professional looking designs, templates and documents. There's so many options for document types, you can decide if you need your document in mm, cm or Pixels which is fantastic and there's so many great templates which you can use straight off the bat or make small changes to, to get them right for your project. The illustrations/icons etc are brilliant as well, I'm never stuck looking for something on Canva and it's very reasonably priced. The app is also brilliant and allows you to create great Instagram Stories so quickly with their huge range of templates.

Cons

As Canva is only online it can make working a bit more tricky at times, but mostly everywhere I travel now has wifi so it doesn't affect me too much. My only other slight complaint would be that the layout of my saved designs can look a bit messy. The folder function doesn't work quite as I would like it. If it was possible to put designs clearly into folders it would make life easier when I'm searching for a previous piece of work.

### "A Daily Must Have"

October 3, 2019

5.0

I use this software for multiple websites, and for one client, I created a new logo, using all Canva elements, that they liked so well, they adopted it into an outdoor sign on a prominent highway. The downloaded Canva file was high resolution and perfect for the sign-maker, and I see my "logo design" on the highway each time I drive through that town.

Pros

The ease of use of this software, for creating fast and professional graphics for social media and website promotions. I find I turn to it, again and again, rather than reinventing the wheel for custom graphics. The library of images continues to grow, as do the templates available. I do customize them a great deal -- I don't use any of them "out of the box" but it's still a massive time-saver, and easy to share with the approval team.

Cons

It can be difficult to align certain elements without a grid. While the adjustment lines do show up for centering right-left and top-bottom, there are many times I'd to be able to turn on a transparent grid for multiple element on a page. I end up using an overlay from the stock images, and then deleting that overlay, which is cumbersome.
