Its biggest advantage is that it allows us to make simply and attractive resume, poster, cover of public account, business card, product logo and even flyers, and all of them are for free! I can design very good works just like a professional designer even without professional education, and I could earn extra money when I get freelancing design the job just using Canva Pros Canva allows you to make great images without being a graphic design expert. I have now used it many times to handle simple things, such as organizing cute Instagram pictures to more complex designs for our new marketing materials. If I sound enthusiastic, it is because of me. Cons Event allocation is handled by canvas, but events of replaced content need to be handled by themselves. Relying on expectations, high fidelity cannot be achieved, and performance decreases when canvas is long. And Canva only edit some details in the design, such as movement and auxiliary lines. Since I use 90% of online graphics software for online marketing, it makes it easy to implement. It is so fast and so versatile that I won't miss the other features of more complete design applications such as other product. The user interface is super simple and easy to figure out. I also use Canva personally for creating Adoption Posts for dogs and cats and share them over Whatsapp, Instagram, and Facebook. Canva has a variety of templates to choose from and also gives you the flexibility to upload your own designs from the web which is why I particularly like this software. Pros I use Canva on a weekly basis to make flyers and posters for the promotion of my student organization's events. I love how versatile Canva is in its functionality right from developing, flyers, posters, infographics and Instagram stories. After using Canva I haven't gone to any other product. I especially love the feature where it allows other team members to collaborate and make its usage more open source for the entire team. As a student volunteering for the organization, I really like how Canva allows you to access functionalities for free to create your artwork. Cons While creating content, a lot of screen space is taken by the functionalities and templates and these are not adjustable. Because of this, the actual screen space of the flyer being created reduces. At times the flyer area during editing is really small and difficult to work with. Although Canva allows you to zoom to increase the flyer/poster size, it involves a lot of scrolling to add in new features. It would be really beneficial if Canva allows resizing functionality and template areas. I've been using it for years now and it's my go to for personal use and business use. Pros Canva has so many templates and creative possibilities it often gives me too many ideas. It's easy to navigate. It automatically saves your work which is a plus for me because I have to frequently leave my work station being a SAHM and often forget to save my work before I walk away from what I'm working on. Canva consistently adds new content and features. I absolutely love the brand feature because it helps me easily save the colors and themes I use for each of my clients. You can also create an unlimited amount of folders to separate your work as well and share folders with clients so that they can create a copy and then edit, add text, etc. Cons The only problem I ever had with Canva was the blur you get on your work after you download it, but it was fixed and that problem no longer exists. Other than that I have no complaints at all about Canva. Pros Canva has a lot of cons, for one the social media collaboration is great. So any social media creators, bloggers, influencers can make great use of this software for their editing purposes. Since there is also a mobile application available for both Android and Apple users, editing can be done anytime, anywhere. There are a large number of customizable templates available even in the free version. Cons One drawback users who are new to using the application might face is navigating in the application. There is a good learning curve needed for this software, which might be a little troublesome for new users. CANVA 2.0 is not for the custom content user. Pros Canva was my favorite editing and graphic design software prior to their new update. It's free with optional upgrades (which I LOVE Canva for work) and has lots of great features, options, and free and paid content. However the new upgrade is VERY clunky, removes a lot of previous established features and has limited capabilities where it used to not have problems. Resizing objects to custom dimensions, adding in custom fonts, and more is now impossible with the new platform. I would opt OUT of Canva 2.0 if I could. Cons The new software made all of my previous custom content obsolete. I spent years building my brand in to canva over the years and now it is virtually useless. POOR MOVE Canva. Let customers opt out in favor of the old platform. This is too "techie" where the old platform was working just fine! It's a classic case of, if it's not broken- dont fix it! You don’t have to pay if you don’t want to because Canva provides you with everything that you need plus something more. And not to mention that it’s pretty simple and easy to use. Pros I can’t decide what I don’t like on Canva. I mean this software gives you everything. This is a great graphic tool and you can create your design with ease. It has huge amounts of formats, layouts that can be used for almost everything. It’s easy to use too. You just need to pick one layout and then edit it in your own how you like it. You can change the format, the color, the fonts, etc. Plus if you are not an expert then you don’t need to have the paid version. The free version will do you fine. It has almost everything that you need. Cons I don’t like that this is an online platform. You can only use Canva if you have access to the internet. If no then you have to satisfy yourself with some other software for graphic design. Another thing that I don’t like is that the paid version has more options. I mean I get that if you want to have more you need to pay but here that’s not the case because even if you get the paid version you still don’t have access to some materials which it doesn’t make any sense.
