### "I Use Canva for EVERYTHING"

April 3, 2019

5.0

I love using Canva for every deliverable I am charged with creating. Canva has sleeker and more modern designs than using a Microsoft template and it's way more customizable. You do have to have the patience to work on it, but if you put in the time, you'll create the most beautiful graphics and documents--all for free! There's a paid version that you can opt into, but out of everything I've produced, I've never felt the need to opt into the paid version. Canva is definitely the software I use the most, and the one I like the most.

Pros

There are so many beautiful templates for you to choose from. You can always find what you're looking for, or at least work with what's available to bring what's in your head to life. I use Canva for virtually every deliverable I have to produce at work, every infographic for our website, etc. I even used it to design a cookbook full of my grandmothers recipes. My family and boss thinks I have actual graphic design skills but it's just Canva.

Cons

There's no way to drag your mouse to select multiple text areas/elements when you're creating your documents. You have to hold command/control and select every element you want to group together to move. Additionally, there is no function that allows you to evenly distribute text boxes/elements. You have to just eyeball distances between things. You definitely have to have a bit of patience to work with the software.

### "Canva, the best way to design for beginners "

August 20, 2018

5.0

I'm a Community Manager, my job is to create content on social networks, therefore, my main job requires basic graphic design skills. Thanks to Canva I have been able to work efficiently and respond to all the requests that have been successfully made to me.

Pros

I have used Canva for at least one year and I think is a great tool for a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, and any other person who need to create visual content in an easy way. If you need to create a design and you don't know nothing about graphic design, this tool will be the best way to do a great job. It's easy to use, agile, and dynamic. What I like most about this software is that it offers different templates that you can work on when you are a beginner. This speeds up the time and productivity of your creations, allowing you to design faster and with quality. In addition, Canva offers the exact resolution for each social network, which is a great help since you will not have to adjust the size of the image manually, offering a perfect measurement from the beginning.

Cons

I would like Canva to have more advanced design options, for which we have experience. However, in all the time that I have been using Canva I have not found any aspect that bothers me. It is a fully functional, fast and quality software.

### "Creating Images for Social Media, Websites and Content Campaigns"

October 16, 2020

5.0

Excellent product, fantastic value and built for everyone to use.

Pros

Easy to use, helps you organise your brand colours and fonts. The premium product also has access to images you can use. You can organise your images into folders, share things with team members and it's comparatively easy to change the sizing. There isn't really anything to complain about really. The alternative would be expensive software with a very steep learning curve. When I recommend Canva, I also explain that it's for 'normal' people to use.

Cons

I don't think there's anything really to complain about. There are a few things that are a little frustrating sometimes, but really it's nitpicking - and you can probably do them if you read the manual - sometimes, the templates which are pre-sized - like the Facebook Event Covers, don't fit perfectly and you need to leave a gap to get it all in. I would also like to be able to access images I've created before to use them in a new design - I have to download them, save them on the computer, then upload them into Canva. But minor stuff compared to how it enhaces our business.

### "Canva is my BFF"

October 21, 2022

Canva has made my life so much easier with templates and having everything in one place. It’s a MUST for those who don’t want to spend time learning photoshop.

Pros

In college when I first found Canva I was SO SURPRISED on how much I could do without opening photoshop. The possibilities are endless and I’ve created so many designs from scratch and from templates for not only my personal life but at most of my roles.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about Canva!

### "Canva, A Designers best friend with minutes to submission deadline"

February 19, 2019

4.0

Many times I find myself needing to do a design mock up or actual design with very limited time and resources or sometimes I get inspiration while away from my design workstation. Canva is my savior as I can access it anywhere anytime. I was chosen to be the social media point person in my branch and the demands that come with the content requirements meant I needed a fast, easy to use but professional solution. Canva has modern looking design elements and will make your design professional with just a few clicks and in no time.

Pros

I love the fact that its available anywhere any time as it is cloud based. I especially love the fact that it does not require installation of an application with complex dependencies and heavy resource usage that usually is the case with graphic software. All you need is a browser and an internet connection. This makes it a lightweight solution. I especially love the fact that it is FREE. I love the fact that it saves every change i make automatically and on the fly and keeps all my designs saved in the cloud. There is large base of paid and free elements to choose from for my designs e.g Photos, icons, text, layouts, borders. I especially love the modern crisp looking elements especially Canvas offering of sans serif fonts. I like that the download options include pdf which is the preferred format in my organisation. I also love the fact that it has thousands of templates that you can quickly spin up and customise to make a full fledged professional looking design for example the facebook banner under the social media category. It will provide you with the correct measurements suitable for facebook. Canva will also allow you to upload your own design elements for a custom design. This is just one of the myriad of design types from its plentiful categories.

Cons

I felt they could do with a little more editing features because the current ones are not really flexibly for more complex design elements. For example text formatting will apply to all similar elements and not just the one you selected.

### "Canva is a flexible tool for independent consultants"

December 31, 2019

5.0

Canva is a great resource for making visuals like advertisements and invitations. It is use to use and flexible. Using the templates and included images will make some nice products, but with its popularity growing, be prepared to add some of your own images and designs to personalize your projects. Or you can work completely from scratch. It beats Word or PPT because it presets the dimensions for the output which makes it so much easier post production.

Pros

Canva is easy to use, with a drag and drop feature design template, sample templates. Canva has many size templates for most if not all the social media platforms and different uses, such as Facebook posts and banners. You can easily upload your own graphics and images, crop and size within Canva, and download completed projects. The browser version can be accessed from anywhere so I can work from any computer. There is also a mobile app that works well.

Cons

The free version shows all of the paid content so you have to scroll through all the premium fonts and images to find the one you want. It would be nice if you could hide the paid content. In the mobile app, upload images only pulls from my gallery. I have to download images form dropbox or OneDrive to my gallery in order to load them into Canva. There should be a way to import form anywhere on your mobile device. Cropping on the mobile app takes some getting used to. you pinch the image to fit the box, not reduce the box like on the browser version.

Pros

### "Literally a critical asset to my job"

October 18, 2022

5.0

I joined my team to help primarily with sales and marketing, and when I showed them how to create graphics in Canva vs Adobe, they were blown away. We use Canva for EVERYTHING- print ads, business cards, digital ads, even TikTok videos and Reels. I love the premade templates and intuitive design process. Canva is one of my 3 main bookmarks: my email, my company's ordering portal, and Canva. Hands down critical to my day to day design work and sanity.

Pros

The very best thing about Canva is that it is easy to pick up. Someone with a 'good eye' can get going quickly without having to get a degree in a complicated design software. -Easy to use-Like, ridiculously easy to use- fast- highly customizable- intuitive

Cons

The exporting process could be a bit smoother. Many times that I go to export a single page from a project, it exports the whole thing. Also wish the design would save by page name rather than project name.

### "Quality image editing tool."

October 9, 2023

5.0

I consider Canva to be one of the most practical and high-quality editing tools I've ever used, I use it every day at work. I make presentations, edit photos, labels and much more, with quality, practicality and agility.

Pros

Canva is free and open to everyone. You can use it to create attractive designs for social media, marketing campaigns or projects. Despite the plethora of free material, Canva also has ready-made elements and designs in a paid model.

Cons

If you're a designer, the tool can also limit you creatively. Canva was not created with the development of visual identities, brands and logos in mind. Because of this, it doesn't offer creation tools from scratch.

### "A great tool for everyone"

October 7, 2019

Canva I have made my work more efficient because I can create more designs in less time thanks to the templates it offers us

Pros

Canva is essential and useful for graphic designers when you have to create something fast, simple and easy. Thanks to the templates offered by Canva we just have to add the text we want to our design. For each graphic designer Canva represents an efficient solution to each design that we have to do. You can make a variety of designs for social networks with what Canva offers us. It is very easy to use so anyone without having studied graphic design can use it and make excellent designs and professional creations.

Cons

Canva is a great tool and I do everything I need with it, I can only speak good things about Canva because it satisfies my requirements. There is only one thing I can comment on and we will not know during creation and design if the text is aligned, so Canva should add a tool to solve this problem. But Canva is a great solution for small and medium businesses since you can make great creations easily and efficiently, so Canva does not represent major problems.

### "An absolute lifesaver! "

February 26, 2021

I have never had a bad experience with Canva. They are only improving their software every day. In fact, lately, it seems like they add new features monthly! I use Canva for social media graphics, ads, social videos, GIFs, and posters.

Pros

I'm a one-man show in many of my marketing projects for my clients and Canva has saved my life so many times! I've never been trained in photo or graphic editing software but Canva makes it easy to make high-quality graphics that are perfect for advertising, social media, and more. In fact, I've even designed multi-page, high-quality PDFs for my clients that are perfect for print and production. This software has saved me thousands of dollars from designers and countless work hours. They're also always making updates which are even better. They have included new services, effects, and styles to make your graphics look like they were designed by a professional.

Cons

I think it could offer a bit more word/text/background effects. It's not perfect. There are many things you can't do in Canva that require Procreate/Photoshop or another service. Otherwise, I love Canva!

### "Perfect for quick graphics and online businesses"

November 14, 2019

5.0

Canva is such a valuable tool for small businesses. It allowed me to step up my game and make beautiful graphics for my site and social media without investing a bunch of time and money in learning other software. If you've never tried Canva, at least give it a shot before choosing something else.

Pros

Canva is SO easy to use. I create graphics for my blog and youtube channel and I can bust out a quarter's worth of content in 30 minutes. The templates are beautiful, the images, tools, and fonts are perfect for quick use and being able to upload your own content makes everything quick to find and use. I can get away with the free plan but I've used the pro version in the past and I was extremely happy with it.

Cons

There are limitations to what you can do, especially on the free version. I hope they will continue to add more features and functionality in the future.

I just could not justify the cost of Adobe products when I could make something SO similar with Canva. If I were designing entire books, websites or work for clients, I would reconsider, but Canva is so simple to use at a fraction of the price.

### "Create Graphics in a Snap!"

December 4, 2019

5.0

I use it for creating IG graphics, pdf templates, IG story videos, brochures. I can also delegate a lot of quick work that I should take off my own plate and let someone else handle.

Pros

I absolutely love the ease of use of Canva! Although, yes, I do use other beefier design products, the ease with which I can drag, drop and use and arrange my templates in Canva will always make an absolute asset for myself, my business and my team.

Cons

When I had started using Canva for myself, initially years ago, it had limited capabilities, of course. But like any other great product, it grew and developed with time. I did not like that it lacked the ability to deign or find ready made video templates for instagram video stories. However, little by little, they either added templates, or added the capability for the users to be able to make the videos themselves and export in various formats. Canva has really grown A LOT!!!

### "It is the best graphic design platform available on the market"

September 14, 2020

5.0

This is one of my main work tools. I use it since to build my presentations, as well as to build my images for social networks and e-books. It is a tool that I do not exchange for any other, first for its ease of use, and second for providing MANY useful resources that facilitate my design creation. It is the best and I recommend it for everyone to use.

Pros

It is the most complete and easy to use platform I have ever found on the market. The platform provides several types of documents in ready-made dimensions, as well as ready-to-use designs, which allows anyone, even without design knowledge, to be able to make their visual material with quality. The platform provides ready-to-present layouts, such as arts for making publications on social networks, and book making. The best thing is that most of the features are editable, from the colors of the layout's, to the text elements, and images.

Cons

I did not find any negative points in the use of this tool, including, it is essential for my work routine.

### "Why Canva is a good canvas to users"

December 4, 2019

5.0

I have been creating images and posts for my companies products. This has given me a great help in achieving that task. My work has been appreciated and the value of the work is also being fulfilled with all the features of Canva.

Pros

Canva is an online tool that allows to create posts and many other graphic designing related stuff. Even if you do not anything about Photoshop or any editing tool, you can use canva like a pro and get the almost same result like Photoshop or any other editing tool. This allows users to create GIF/MP4s now which is really advanced and worth. You may add any images from internet or from your local machine other than the given images.

Cons

### "Canva - One of the OGs in the online graphics editor field"

March 9, 2021

Canva is a free (and effective) online graphic design tool that allows you to create all sorts of designs: banners, social media graphics, blog headers, presentations, and more. While it may be beneficial to have familiarity with design software like Photoshop, Canva can be used by everyone, since it has a very low learning curve and makes it simple to create designs of any kind.

Pros

We all know that having attractive images for social media sites and blogs can be difficult and time-consuming. Canva is an online graphic design tool that makes it easy to create professional-looking graphics with just a few clicks of the mouse. It has a very low learning curve to help you get started quickly. A huge pro to canva is the templates. This can speed up your design workflow no matter your skill level.

Cons

The biggest drawback to canva is also its strength: its simplicity. If you are used to things like affinity designer or adobe photoshop/ adobe illustrator, canva can seem a little too simplistic and limited. But for the majority of people, it is a great tool.

### "Useful for formating photos!"

November 27, 2020

5.0

Overall good, I would recommend Canva to a friend. It was good at what I used it to do - format pictures for consistency and high image quality across multiple digital platforms. I liked it better when it was simpler. It would be better if you could manage the pictures. I don't know how much it cost. I can't comment on how good it is for formatting flyers. The people who used it for this liked the results in Canva. We may have switched from another program to Canva; Canva was much better. If we are not using it anymore it's because duties changed & personnel changed. I liked it.

Pros

The only part of Canva I used was to format pictures to post them online. This is not part of my job anymore but I used Canva in 2018-19. Other people used Canva to format flyers. Canva was great for editing pictures so that they size was consistent and resolution crisp across different platforms and devices. It was pretty quick too. The program had some basic editing features too. I was always pleased with the results.

Cons

Canva was updated and given a new look and changes to how to use it and I had trouble navigating the changes. It was suddenly hard to find what I was looking for - just basic stuff like finding the templates I liked, finding my past projects that had the templates I was looking for, finding the preselected colors for accent colors, etc. I didn't want all these jacked up backgrounds and images - I just wanted to be able to format pictures like I had done before. Consequently, it took me longer to do the work that had been a couple of simple steps before. Also I could only upload pictures - I couldn't organize them, name them, file them, delete them. After 2 years with 2 of us using the program, we had a buttload of pictures in the 1 file, which was occasionally handy, but more often it was unwieldy. We ended up uploading the same picture multiple times because you couldn't find the previous upload of it in this gigantic file.

### "Totally revamped our marketing"

January 10, 2018

5.0

easy to use, has really streamlined our marketing process amongst a team that doesn't always get to see each other, professionalized our design and taught us about graphic design without having to sit through extensive classes

Pros

I can't rave enough about this product. Before this, we were using MS Publisher and the templates are very antiquated with little guidance or some of us jumped to Adobe InDesign which is quite overwhelming. Canva has been a true game changer. It is so easy to use. No one here is trained in graphic design and there is great help/design school section for those who aren't trained but want to learn a little more about basic principles like font, negative spacing, etc. in hands on quick practice tutorials. They also include free templates that are beautiful and graphically pleasing if you don't know where to start. Uploading of your own images are quick and easy with png or jpg supported formats. I love that all the documents come in sizes like poster, facebook post, twitter and you can easily "magic resize" any document with very little tweaking to use the same design amongst all social media and posters with just the quick press of a button. I don't need to remember sizes anymore. You can share designs among team members so we can all keep the same branding, image folders, and color scheme or edit easily. If you have any worries about copyrighting of outside images, you can stay within Canva and search their free/paid images.

Cons

That you can't search by free images only and if not that feature it is frustrating that you can't organize them so all the free ones to come up to the top. That is literally the only "bad" thing I have to say about this product!

### "Quick, Fast and Easy!"

May 5, 2020

5.0

I’ve enjoyed sharing my projects across my personal and professional networks. Canva was highlighted during a bi-state wide professional development training workshop/conference and gained a lot of interest from participants! The other thing I like in addition to how simple it is to create projects, is how fast they save or render! PLUS, if I see an error or need to make a change it won’t take long to open the application, make the change, save and move on!

Pros

I like it’s ‘portability’. What I start on my iPhone I can continue on my tablet and finish on my laptop! This is an incredibly versatile application that allows you to quickly link to some of the popular social media sites and publish or share your work. I particularly like having the option to view previous sample works as I develop my own ideas for my projects. It is a marvelous way to avoid the ‘blank page’ syndrome! Additionally, creating projects is quick, fast and easy for even the most novice of users (like me). I don’t have a background in desktop publishing nor in graph art and design. Still I am comfortable enough to create really respectable projects from my mobile device between meetings!

Cons

I wish there was a way to connect seamlessly to all my social media sites without having to purchase a subscription. Right now my workaround is to build my projects, then save them to my pictures or screenshot them - then post them to various feeds. I thought there used to be a simpler way to share projects, but perhaps it was removed during an update...or maybe I just thought it existed.
