Pros

I've been using Canva for more than 2 years and it helped me a lot with my work because it's easy to use and you can make templates in easy steps.

Cons

as a free user you can't download high-resolution photos or transparent photos I think if it changes this would be better.

Canva almost save couple of hours of my team for creating designs for social media and our presentations and project. I recommend everyone who want graphic design software for regular use, to once try this software.

Pros

The software is very easy to navigate and use friendly. You can create number of designs very easy and also save it by downloading it. It helps us in making templates for our projects and images for promotion on social media. The templates are up to date. It is also mobile friendly. Anyone can create design easily on desktop and mobile. The major functions it provides automatics guidelines to the new users such as templates, ratios etc., Which helps a new user to save time and easy complete his task. You can also drag and drop your design and edit them with canva. It is value for the money given for this software

Cons

Sometimes it becomes very slow when someone uploads a number of designs together. It is very difficult to adjust the items from one side to another side. However the overall software is very good. We just need to learn the functions pf the software

I LOVE Canva (in case you didn't notice.) It is SO fun and easy to create content AND replicate content to make new projects even easier.

Pros

Canva is an amazing content creation tool that makes it possible, even for the most tech-challenged people, to create a wide variety of types of content. I use Canva almost every day. Here are just a few of the ways I use this awesome program. I create; pins for Pinterest, quote graphics for Facebook, marketing images for all of my products on Etsy, worksheets, one-sheets, checklists, book content, book covers, and the list goes on. I lead a community of authors and content creators, and have created workshops to help them be able to get the most out of Canva. They love the easy of use and feel empowered in being able to easily create content.

Cons

It's so much fun to use that it's a bit addictive - grin! I recommend that you use Canva for creating attractive content.

Pros

I love the ease of creating graphics designs like fliers, campaign graphics, infographics and all using the software. It's template is another stress killer as you can always start a design without the confusion of starting from scratch.

Cons

I don't like how it takes time in downloading video presentations at times. That's all I guess

I have been able to easily make custom banners, posters, logos, images, and videos for my website and social media. The library of pictures, backgrounds, and templates are amazing and while slightly limited, usually have something that can fill my need without going to a stock footage website.

Pros

I liked the ease of use, and overall quality of work produced. The fact that anyone can login and immediately start using the app without any prior training or even graphic design knowledge makes it a game changer, especially when you compare it to more expensive products.

Cons

I disliked the limitations of specific features like the text effects tools among other things. I feel that the limitations of the website are in place to stop it from becoming a headache of a program and to make sure that anybody can easily produce great content, but it forces the user to stick to pre-made templates if they are trying to achieve a certain effect.

Very positive. In fact, Canva has become my go-to program for quick image editing. I do not require any bulky software. I can go right to Canva.com and do everything I need whether I am home, in the office, or on the go with a laptop. It is easy to use for even the least tech-savvy person, and the content capabilities are many.

Pros

I use Canva for almost everything. I edit images (which is easy to do), I create presentations (which is easy to do), I collaborate with colleagues (also easy to do), and I create other digital content, including videos and instagram posts (...easy to do). Canva is such that even less tech-savvy members of my team are able to jump on and create professional-looking content, whether it is a presentation or a social media post. Moreover, they (and I) enjoy using Canva. It is, quite frankly, fun to explore Canva's various features and design elements, and it is most days that I discover a new feature or functionality that I was not aware existed previously.

Cons

I cannot think of many cons when it comes to Canva. There is a very good free version of the program, but there are numerous benefits to membership that I cannot recommend enough.It was a little difficult to figure out how to export a presentation as a Powerpoint for further collaboration, but once figured out, it wasn't something difficult at all.

It is my go to for making simple flyers and presentations that need to catch someone's eye.

Pros

Canva makes it so easy to make eye-catching presentations that even a beginner can make look professional. There are endless customization options so you can alter all parts of images, text, and shapes within. I can whip out a beautiful slide faster on canva than anywhere else.

Cons

I have had no issues at all! The paid plan gives me all I could want, but some things are lacking with the free version, but that is to be expected.

Canva is great for getting a quick (but beautiful) design created, without needing a designer -- BUT even if you DO have a designer, canva would be a great tool for them as well.

Pros

Canva has helped in a variety of different ways. Firstly, our company used the "Demo" templates to create our sales deck. I'd say that was our most used template and it still comes in handy today as we continue to update our business plan/sales deck. Aside from the "demo" or "presentation" templates they have thousands of templates for whatever your needs may be for social media, branding, infographics, and more. The free version itself is great, but of course with the paid (still cheap) version you have a lot more features!

Cons

I wish they had more editing options for the fonts. I use another software to add overlays and different gradients to the text -- but I am unable to do that in Canva.

Ik ben erg enthousiast over Canva. Canva daagt mij uit om creatiever te worden en out of the box te denken. Het programma werkt goed doordat je mappen kan aanmaken en ontwerpen nooit kwijt raakt doordat ze automatisch worden opgeslagen.

Pros

Via Canva kan je gemakkelijk achtergronden verwijderen van afbeeldingen, daarnaast kan je afbeeldingen makkelijk bijsnijden en filters toepassen. Dit zorgt er voor dat je snel kan werken. Ook de brede selectie van sjablonen, pictogrammen, stockfoto's etc. zijn van grote meerwaarden.

Cons

De tekstgrote veranderd mee als je het tekstvak wild aanpassen, wat voor extra werk zorgt. Ik werk sinds kort met canvapro, maar als je dit niet hebt zijn wel erg veel pictogrammen en sjablonen niet beschikbaar/bruikbaar.

Pros

The ease of use of Canva cannot be denied. Anyone with internet access can jump on their site or app and create something great. Their countless templates help make quick projects a breeze & prevents my social posts from looking stale.

Cons

Some of canva’s recent changes has made the interface a bit clunky. The download option is somewhat hidden & you have to scroll down on the list and then click on something and then something else just to be able to download your design. The bar always half loads & I end up clicking the “schedule” button instead of download almost weekly bc it finished loaded when I’m about to try and download something. Small but very frustrating recent feature

I use canva to promote my yoga business on facebook, Instagram and twitter. It allows me to have the correct size templates for these platforms. It is easy to resize photos and change template colours. I also use it to make videos which again are very easy to make

Pros

I use this software on a daily basis for social media posts. I like the ability to be able to pick the correct size posts for facebook, Instagram etc without having to mess about resizing them

Cons

I think there are a lot of 'pro' pictures on there that you have to upgrade to use. It would be better if yu could just pay a one off fee if you wanted to use some of the pro package features

Pros

I like how easy you can may presentation, invitation and design. The subscription fee is low, yet it's functionality is superb!

Cons

The image library has limited images and it's too basic. Adding more images will help user to save time.

Overall, Canva is great. There are paid options which may help certain users get further use out of the software. But again, if you know how to use some other software to combine with Canva, you'll get the best overall experience. But even if you only know how to use Canva and nothing else, you'll likely be very impressed with the kinds of graphics you can create completely free of charge. Any social media user that is not an expert in graphic design, should be using Canva to make their social media pop.

Pros

I love Canva due to the amount of things you can do with it completely free. It really is a great tool to make social media graphics really shine. It definitely is worth having some basic skills with other software such as Photoshop, which will make your Canva experience that much better. Canva really is just for templates and it's best you use your own photos to upload. So if you can edit photos how you like, but can't create templates from scratch, marrying your very basic photo editing skills, with the ease of use of Canva is just a perfect combination.

Cons

Sometimes, editing the templates can be a bit clunky and frustrating. The tools that they have in place to edit are pretty good and I honestly don't know what can be done to fix it. But making small tweaks to the templates could sometimes be a pain. Sometimes I like the style of a template, but want to make a small adjustment to it, and it creates a bigger headache than I'd like it to. For example, in certain templates if you want to add more words than in their example text, it could create some funky layout issues. I wish Canva would do a better job in adding more "flexibility" to their templates.

### "Awesome, simple to use, it's a game changer"

We were challenged to keep up with creating graphics for our website, social media, etc. Photoshop and Illustrator are great, but they are complex and we don't use them often enough to be really nimble with them....so we wasted a lot of time and created things that didn't look that great and weren't very usable. Canva immediately changed that....with tons of templates set up and super easy-to-use interface, we were off and running and have seriously upped our social media game.

Pros

Canva easily allows even non-designers to create really great looking graphics and documents. With virtually no training, and with thousands of templates to choose from, almost anyone can quickly be up and running to create marketing collateral.

Cons

There's really nothing I don't like. I would say there are limitations, as in you can't prepare documents or collateral that will be printed in the traditional 4C process. But that's about the only thing I can think of, and Canva doesn't represent itself as being able to create these documents, so it's not a criticism, just something users should be aware of.

Reason for choosing Canva

We still have the Adobe products but use them only when we actually need their level of sophistication We ALL prefer Canva at any time because it's so much easier to use.

From my point of view, it is the best platform to design, because it does not require prior knowledge, it is very intuitive, with many templates of all kinds, and an impressive gallery of images. For school and professional use, it is an indispensable tool.

Pros

It is very intuitive, it has a wide variety of templates, with a lot of elements, fonts, audio, images, and with great compatibility with other programs, such as Teams or Classroom.

Cons

I would like the image and text editor to have more development. Also, I think it should be necessary to be able to export in some more formats.

Canva has made martketing and graphic design much simpler. I am doing something that was once quite complex very quickly.

Pros

This software is super simple to use and there is loads of content premade already. I think there is something for almost any industry and customizing the template to your needs is a breeze.I do all sorts of custom promos and ads usingg Canva and the year subscription paid for itself after the first month.

Cons

At first there was a bit of a learning curve and it is difficult to get a decent image without payiong for it unless you are creative. But if you pay for it the value is well worth it.

Reason for choosing Canva

Canva was the right price and it has the content I want and need and the support staff is helpful if needed. It is a well designed product and for my needs, website design posters mugs t-shirts infographics, calendars it suits me very well.

I essentially use Canva to create graphic files for Social Media, and the resizing feature is really useful. Perhaps compared to other more recent ones it has a few more steps, but it certainly does its job very well

Pros

Canva is definitely a must-have for anyone involved in social media graphics. For traditional graphics, however, I think it has some limitations, compared to Affinity or Photoshop. The latest releases contain very useful tools such as post animation. A shy approach to posting on Facebook that perhaps deserves some development. In any case, it remains an absolute reference tool

Cons

it lacks the possibility of a deeper editing of the texts, compared to Crello for example. Posting on Facebook is really basic

Canva has been great for discovering my designs skills in college and being able to get inspiration from free templates and free graphics that can be used on a design. It has also really increased my efficiency and design flow and also made it better for me to work from anywhere i need to be both on personal things as well as on school work. It has been an extremely fruitful experience and i am really thankful for the team that made this possible. Going forward, i hope to be able to keep using it and learning better ways to design with Canva

Pros

I love canva! It gives me a great and unified place to collect all my designs together and especially when it comes to making posters for my Boss and graphics for different websites and designs. Better yet, it allows us when working on teams to be able to combine our ideas and be able to critique and improve each other's work. For example, when building sites like https://msimbao.github.io/idealab\_website/ i can ask my teammates to review my mockup before i start building it and the mockup process is very quick and easy and since it is stored on the cloud i can work on it anywhere i want. This is especially useful for homework and class projects where i might have to go off campus but can still work on the project wherever i am.

Cons

The connections between the design app part and the other important showcases on the canva website aren't always clear. For example, if i am logged into my dashboard, it is not always clear how to move from my dashboard to the canva school or to the canva blog where i might want to learn a few new things or look at what the community is doing. Also i don't yet know how to get in touch with other online designers that use canva. I wish there was a forum or community part of canva to talk to other people. Instead, i have to go to the reddit site to talk to people and discover things.

I use Canva daily, and it helps me a lot at work, the photo and video edits are impeccable for marketing, it's a very easy and practical editing tool, I really like it and I recommend it.

Pros

I really like the resources, especially the image library, videos, which are great options for creation, and also the different tools that Canva offers for free.

Cons

There could be more functions in the free version, for example: Image editing, removing the background, and more image options in the free version because the best ones are always in the paid version. However, I understand that the site needs to have a monetary return to work well, but the free tools could be improved a little.

I have been able to not only create my own content but content for clients that in return has helped me make an income.

Pros

I love all the new features it continues to offer. The ease that it was to learn on my own, the training they offer and tutorials. I love that they have added animation features, its completely worth paying for the pro version, I couldn't do half of what I do without it.

Cons

I wish there was a way to have this program downloaded to my desktop/laptop so that I could have it separate from my internet sites.

Reason for choosing Canva

Initially, I started with the free aspect of this program - which let me learn about alot of what I could do, and see where I was limited by not paying for it. Even with paying for it I believe it has some of the best features and makes incredible designs that most can't tell weren't made in an overpriced program.
