### "An Affordable Easy & Feature and Perfect Design Platform"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Outstanding value for money, intuitive User Interface and user-friendly features, Canva provides an excellent product. User-friendly intuitive image editing tools and smooth team collaboration make using Canva easy. Customer Support has good service, but the advanced options may be limited at times.

Pros

Canva is a good option for individual and team use due to its affordability (through low priced subscriptions), ease of use, simple image editing processes, and helpful customer support.

Cons

It requires upgrading to gain access to additional resource types and level, which may be difficult to navigate through for new users, while the depth of design control, features isn't as advanced as professional software options.

I made the switch from Photoshop because Canva is faster, easier to use, and doesn’t require advanced skills. It lets me create professional designs quickly without heavy software or complicated tools.

### "Waiting for another option"

August 8, 2025

3.0

Overall, I use Canva very frequently for essential tasks for my business.. but if there was another platform that offered the same features, I'd leave Canva in a heartbeat because of how unsatisfied I am with their company ethics.

Pros

Canva is an asset for my small business by providing an easy way to design my logos, ads, social media posts, and anything else I might need!

Cons

Canva's customer service is horrible, and their print services have worsened in quality over the years. I'm also unhappy that is I don't have a pro subscription, they lock me out of being able to use my business fonts that I uploaded.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Lightroom](https://www.capterra.com/p/233631/Adobe-Photoshop-Lightroom/)

Reason for choosing Canva

I do not like to support Adobe because I believe they are unethical and shady.

### "Design Like a Pro Without a Team My Honest Canva Review"

August 5, 2025

5.0

Canva has been my ride-or-die creative partner from digital products to viral TikToks, mockups, carousels, pitch decks, and full-blown launch campaigns. As a 5th-gen business owner, UGC creator, and AI-powered entrepreneur, I’ve tried a lot of design tools. Canva is the one I keep coming back to because it’s not just about pretty graphics. It’s about getting things done fast, professionally, and profitably.

Pros

You don’t need to be a graphic designer to create designer-level content. Canva’s drag-and-drop interface is so intuitive, it feels like it was built for ADHD creatives, UGC queens, and multi-hustle entrepreneurs like me.

Cons

While Canva’s free version is great for beginners, once you start scaling your content or creating digital products, you will feel limited. Most of the best features like the background remover, brand kits, and premium templates are Pro-only. Worth it, but it’s a pay-to-play move. Canva is great for teachers.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Photoshop](https://www.capterra.com/p/229092/Adobe-Photoshop/)

Reason for choosing Canva

I tested all the alternatives: Photoshop & Illustrator too technical, too slow PicMonkey & VistaCreate too limited Figma – better for UX, not visual content Over & other mobile apps cute but not scalable

Switched from

[Adobe Photoshop](https://www.capterra.com/p/229092/Adobe-Photoshop/)

Because I was tired of wasting hours wrestling with layers, plugins, and file crashes—when all I needed was a fast, money-making design system. Photoshop is powerful, no doubt. But Canva? Canva is built for creators like me entrepreneurs, content creators, digital product sellers, and ADHD-brained businesswomen who need speed, clarity, and creativity on demand.

### "Canva is a must-have tool for digital creators!"

August 6, 2025

5.0

Canva has made my digital product design process simple and efficient. I use it to create planners, eBooks, and social media content for my online business. It’s helped me launch products on Etsy and Gumroad without needing graphic design skills. I recommend it to anyone who wants to create beautiful designs quickly.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use, even for beginners. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and the templates save me so much time. I especially like the ability to design planners, eBooks, and Instagram posts in one place, with professional results.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit slow to load, especially if my internet connection is weak. Also, some premium elements are locked behind a Pro subscription, even though I only need a few features.

Switched from

[Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/)

PowerPoint was too limited and time-consuming for creating visually appealing designs. I needed a platform that allowed me to work faster and create beautiful planners, eBooks, and social media content — and Canva gave me everything in one place. It’s much easier and more modern than PowerPoint.

### "Saving time working in projects that are useful and beautifully designed. "

December 23, 2025

4.0

I've been using Canva now over 6 years, and I enjoy the yearly improvements, design templates, and the team feedback/review/sharing options are amazing when working with multiple people in a project.

Pros

I like how easy and user-friendly Canva is. From simple to more advanced designs, there is a huge variety of options to work on while still making the work easy for the user. I like the options to build brand templates and resources for our whole marketing team to use, and the feedback/review options are a great communication tool.

Cons

Some features could be improved, such as the doc option; it is not very helpful the way it exports. By number of pages would be better. PDF exporting options could be broader, and rules/guides of the pages could have more options. Some AI features could be improved, such as the magic background, and captions could be included in the membership and not be an extra out-of-pocket.

### "Best software for design"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Extraordinary. It is my favorite software cross the board. It is easy to share designs with other people and have them edit them as well.

Pros

Canva has completely revolutionize the way I work. I no longer need to hire designers to create posters, flyer, booklets, invitations, etc. It is the most intuitive software I use and the most user friendly. What I like most if t hat I have control over every detail of the design and how easy it is to make it look professional (like when the little purple line let's you know that your item is centered.

Cons

I wish it had a ruler at the top so I could replicate the position of objects in different pages of multi-page designs.

### "Understandable software for beginners"

March 31, 2026

4.0

Overall I'm happy with what Canva offers, i mainly use Adobe for a lot of my tasks but the GIF feature built into Canva gives me better results than what i get from Adobe, the frame rate seems to move a lot smoother as well as exporting with less memory.

Pros

Canva is an excellent free tool to use for design. It contains plenty of animation settings as well as canvases to create highly engaging content for socials media and other platforms. Editing & creating images become easy with the interface of the website allowing anybody with basic skills to be able to use the site.

Cons

Canvas boxed layers are often difficult to navigate, and any design that is created with multiple layers has no easy method of selecting the back layer if i wanted to edit or change it's shape, often having to move other layers to get to it, can become a timely task to fix.

Pros

### "Powerful and Intuitive Design Tool"

July 24, 2025

5.0

Overall, I quite enjoy using Canva, it feels kind of like a mix of Adobe InDesign, MS Word, and Photoshop all in one. The free version offers a lot of customizability and you can work with it well. The paid version also provides a lot more benefits so it feels that it is worth it to get the Pro with the features it offers. It will let you try out the Pro features, you just can't download your project that include Pro features when you aren't subscribed to it so you can test it out whether it's worth it to you to get Pro or not.

Pros

I enjoy being able to create any kind of templates on Canva with full customization of the template sizing (I have Canva Pro, free version has limited options but still plenty). Lot of designs are available to pick from and search. You can download the finished product to many different forms (pdf, jpeg, png, etc.). It is intuitive and have lots of tools to help those who aren't a professional or advanced in design skills. Canva is also all online so it syncs with your Canva app on the phone also. You can also edit any images you attach on Canva (adjust brightness, colour, saturation, tone, remove background if you have Pro, add outline, etc.). You can also include people into projects to work with them, anything they add it'll be automatically updated on your side as well (similar to how Google Docs work with the live updates when others are working on it at the same time as you).

Cons

A few things I dislike about Canva is that if I accidentally choose a premade template that is made for a video post, it is not very intuitive to revert the template back to non-video so the best thing I could figure out to do is to delete the project and start anew. Another dislike I have about Canva is that when editing, I cannot hold down on the CTRL button and select several specific texts/images to move so I'll either have to do it one by one or drag mouse to highlight what I want moved which makes it less precise to work with.

### "My Go-To Design Tool for School, Work, and Everything in Between"

December 2, 2025

5.0

Canva is one of those tools I wish I had back when I was in school, creating presentations. It’s incredibly fun and easy to use, and truly feels like a game-changing piece of software. From building resumes to completing projects, it has been an absolute lifesaver. Canva is my go-to platform for creating marketing and project management materials.

Pros

I love the designs. Since I discovered Canva, I have used it for every single project, from pitch decks and infographics to promotional materials. You can get by with the free account, but it's limited to some basic designs. Using it is also easy!

Cons

Limitations on the free account. Most designs that are relatively intuitive tend to be paid, which could be a limitation on the free account. Designs are great on a free account, but I've noticed most people use the same designs, which could be a bit disappointing, as it seems like content has been repurposed. There is no discount available for smaller companies that only require a few licenses. Their A. I imagine creation could be better. I am getting issues with the accuracy of the generated images, even after using different prompts.

Love using Canva. It's been an amazing experience and in fact my first step into the world of designing.

Pros

Extremely customizable, loaded with features. Pro version is totally worth it. You can literally make any creative/design templates without being a graphic designer.

Cons

Size limitation. No option of creating a design for a standee - there's a height dimension limit so we cannot make something that's 6 feet tall.

### "Canvas Moving A Head"

September 3, 2025

5.0

Overall canvas is user friendly, cost effective, you can quickly create your designs and template with ease and confidence.

Pros

What I enjoyed the most about Canva os the option of being able to have different theme design for your website platform you just have make suggestions and it will design it for you. The customer support is so awesome because anytime you get stuck they are able to assist you immediately. For example, I was not able to locate my account because I uploaded new information and did not see it in my regular account and I the support was there to direct me well. Also, the image editing is very user friendly and the updates is extremely helpful when you want to see the your drafts and your new changes. The video editing I enjoyed because you can edit and delete or restart. This is very helpful because it allows you to stream and upload the best video to promote your product or business.

Cons

What I do not like is the limitation on customization when you have to rely on templates for different designs it can get very confusing which has hindered my creative freedom. However, I overcome the limitations.

### "Worth a try!"

July 17, 2025

4.0

I use Canva on a daily basis. As a graphic designer, I have often found that I am able to create a project from scratch in less time than it would have taken me in Adobe products. I never wanted to like Canva as a graphic designer with a GD degree and background, but I do! It's worth a try!

Pros

I like how easy it is to have access to all kinds of graphic elements and stock photos. I also like how multiple people can be logged in to the account and we can watch what each other either does in real-time, or can log-in later and see any changes

Cons

Sometimes Canva is finicky and won't line things up exactly the way I want them. Because it will automatically place things in its own alignment, sometimes it is hard to disrupt that do my own design.

Overall, my experience with Canva has been great. It’s incredibly useful for both work and personal projects, and it makes designing fast, easy, and fun.

Pros

I really like the huge variety of templates available with Canva Pro—it makes creating content so quick and easy. I also appreciate the Teams feature because it allows us to collaborate and share designs smoothly with our coworkers. The background remover is another tool I use all the time.
