I can create very engaging learning experiences with Venngage templates and I appreciate that Pros It has taken my presentations to a whole new level and allows me to be both creative and impressive with my Presentations. I still need to use Venngage a bit more because I do use some other similar products for my work. Venngage is yet to convince me to adopt it for 'sole use'I may be updating my review in a few months. Cons Very few Images of people of color. MAJOR drawback for me. No animation for Presentations, Another MAJOR drawback for me. These 2 are deal breakers and are likely to make me stop using Venngage. Pros Great templates and pre-made objects for creating visualizations. Also the newsletter with design tips is really helpful for non-design people like me. I use the software for educational research (survey results, data reports, etc) and have found it is a nice way to summarize a lot of information simply. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve to develop visualizations from scratch. I watched a video tutorial, but ended up sticking with the pre-made templates and modifying them as necessary. April 12, 2018 5.0 Let's me create informative documents to disseminate to a team that is more interesting than a bullet point email. It makes it more likely that they will read the information. Pros The templates. They are simple to use if you want to create a quick infographic because the images and layout is already there. They are also wonderful for inspiration even when you want to create one from scratch. Cons Lining elements up can be difficult as I could not zoom more than 140% and there is no grid to help me line things up. The dynamic guides only appear when using the mouse and not when using the arrow keys on the keyboard which is sometimes more accurate because my hand often slips when using a mouse to move elements. I like that the graphics look so great, and that I can customize nearly everything. Cons I can't think of anything to really dislike. It's done what I needed it to do. I use this program to create an annual report, and sometimes it doesn't translate well between venngage and the printer we use, but we have been able to resolve little glitches. It's what set Venngage apart from the other software we looking at - price point is still affordable for our non-profit budget - an abundance of graphics means we can really vary and personalize the infographics we create Cons \- Although price point is affordable with our current version, it would be nice to be able to sort projects more efficiently. It seems the team is truly engaged in their work and listening to customers. Fun. Rewarding. Customizable colors that are cool and not just primary based. Option to use free if you just need a little something. Easy to edit text and material. Easy to add custom title to saved work. Visual icon for saved work and an option to preview or edit. Cons Saving and uploading files in a public manner is uncomfortable, then u have to pay to save in other ways which feels a bit like a bait and switch. I have created over 65 infographics on Vennage. Cons The only thing I don't like is the image frames. They are hard to modify. If you want to use them, you have to change the size of the image. The end product is always very professional. Pros Easy to use. Shareable with staff, faculty and students, and very reasonably priced. The online interface is compatible with all browsers. There are plenty of free templates and pay templates are reasonably priced. Cons I really don't have any cons. The templates can be difficult to maneuver when changing colors and could use more fonts. It might be better if it had a way to copy formatting from one object to another. Pros I'm a first-time infographic creator. Venngage's system makes it exceptionally simple to craft and create something that looks great. Templates are fresh, clean, and well-coordinated. Icons allow you to make something that looks interesting without becoming cheesy. Templates needing a higher level of professionalism are available. Cons The plans for paid services are unattractive. From what I've experienced so far, they do not allow you to download any infographics without first establishing a paid service. I started using it for work (creating annual reports for nonprofits to send to their donors) and now use it for lost and found flyers, dinner party menus, resumes, and much more. Cons Pretty much perfect, but I'd love to see more sophisticated color options, like a fading/ombre. Also very occasionally there are elements in the pre-made templates that can't be deleted, which you don't notice until it's too late. Pros Venngage is very easy to use. Its search functionality is excellent. It also has an impressive array of design options, icons, graphics etc. A particularly useful feature is the ability to import your own graphics or pictures. Cons Based on my requirements, I do not need all of the features offered via the paid packages. Consequently, I only use the most basic package, the one for which no subscription is required. The only people who will love Venngage more than you are those that previously had to make heads and tails out of your previous analytics. My data driven reports are now more widely distributed than ever before thanks to Venngage and the value of my work has therefore been enhanced. Venngage has given my reports legs within the company, circulating to areas not previously reached. On the rare occasion that you might have a question or need direction their support team is amazing and readily available. The chat mode is perfectly designed and may questions have been answered quickly and most importantly on the first try. My wife is a graphic designer by trade and when I showed her my creations with Venngage she referred to it as "cheating"; to me that is the highest compliment from a designer. But through the use of the many excellent templates that Venngage has on its site, and by observing how the 'professional' industry creates infographics, I can make smart looking images in a short period of time. It is easy to resize the graphic, and easy to download as a PDF or PNG. The program is overall, very easy to use for a novice marketing person and is irreplaceable for me at this time. Cons More options to really make my designs look more professional.
