I am used to writing evaluations and strategic reports that are many pages long, knowing that I have to do it but that the likelihood of my client reading it in its totality is probably zero. I do know that they will read the executive summary at the front and it it is always a struggle to get as much information across as possible with the fewest words. Infographics - love them I can get really detailed information across ON ONE PAGE to supplement a summary page and I know the clients take it on board because they ask questions! Sometimes they even read the evidence papers in the main document on an aspect they are interested in. RESULT. Pros So easy and joyful to use, it's like playing instead of working. The example samples of different posters and infographics can kickstart ideas. The finished piece looks clean, neat and very professional. I view it as an add-on to punch up presentations and documents. Pros Easy to use platform with high quality design templates. Useful for generating high quality graphics. Cons Less useful for a lot of the sorts of data visualizations needed in my company. Line graphs, bar graphs and pie charts are good, but that's the limit and inputting or importing data can be laborious. Design templates in the program itself are time consuming to modify. Cons To me, this product deserves nothing, but praise as it is one that has helped me in areas that I struggle, but doing things that I need to perform my job, like posters for school. I like it because it allows me to make a PDF or infogrpahic within seconds without having to call someone in marketing to do it. We work in a very fast paced environment and this allows me to work at speed. I also like a lot of the samples. Venngage provides a ton of templates to help get you started, then you can save your own designs and templates for later use. Also, the customer support team is outstanding! Cons Icons and pictographs and other features provided that are not editable (such as color, or ability to crop). I also like the icons. Cons Sometimes I just want to use part of a template, but I can't find a way to "cut" the bottom so you can end up with a blank section at the end. Everyone finds the presentations visually pleasing. Keep up the great work. Cons Customer service is trained to give generic answers, rather than direct one to appropriate links for frequently asked questions.
