Good. Feedback is a combination my experience from the last few projects I have been on as well as current.

Pros

The speed it takes to move between modules and tabs is great. Also, the instant updates to tracker section. Great platform for construction activities.

Cons

The whole functionality for the vendor design aspect needs to improve for VTOP creation. More security for admins when commencing updates needed i.e. updating design data. Recognition of existing tags needs. Submittal Admin section needs more areas for update available to them relating to fields above. Muli upload of submittals needed similar to Punch where window stays open. Request time for changes from development needs improving.

Excellent tool as a construction master project database. EIDA Team are responsive to developments which may help the overall experience as one project is always different to the next.

Pros

It is easy to use. Provides all turnover documentation in one location. EIDA provides training to all users to assist in user take-up of the system

Cons

Test packs cannot be allocated to more than 1 system. At the beginning of a project when a system list has not been developed it is not easy to use EIDA as a communication tool.

My experience with EIDA Solutions has been very positive. Their client interaction is second to none – the team are always responsive, approachable and willing to help. They are very active in developing and improving the software, taking on board feedback and tailoring features to meet project requirements. Any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently, which makes using EIDA a reliable and straightforward process.

Pros

What I like most about EIDA Solutions is its ability to store and manage project documentation seamlessly from the early design development stage right through to final handover and commissioning support. The platform is very user-friendly and allows contractor submittals, vendor submittals, electrical test records, weld records, punch items and more to be linked directly to specific systems. This integration makes project tracking much easier and ensures smoother handovers. In short, it’s a true one-stop shop for managing construction deliverables.

Cons

While EIDA is a powerful tool, navigating through large volumes of data or retrieving older records can sometimes be a little slow and require extra steps.

it was easy to compile the handover documents which were Vendor Turn Over Packages and Construction Turnover Packages.

Pros

Final handing over of documentation is very easy as all are linked and automated. (Example: test packs, material receipt verification, etc are compiled automatically in CTOP)

Cons

There’s no document repository for working files, such as folders or a place to save the unofficial documents

Overall slightly positive experience. I use this for work everyday and it does it's job, but some modules could be improved (ease of access) and other things that require certain access. It can be useful for updating and issuing documentation though.

Pros

Once the server is fully setup, the overall process is functional and works. It can have some other intuitive aspects added as well from the EIDA IT team.

Cons

Though it isn't the most intuitive and has some data errors when loading, I still believe it's relatively fine for our work. Alot of the process could be streamlined (like auto sending updates to subcons or

it has been good and i appreciate how complete and robust the system is. i use it every day, but would say that those who don't are a bit intimidated by the interface. That is partially our issue, as we could improve the introduction training, but it is a bit of an interface issue as well. not sure how to make that part better though.

Pros

the robustness of the database. there are very few outages and it is quick to upload data. we also have very good support from imbedded EIDA resources, which has been key to our success.

Cons

some of the interfaces are not very intuitive when you first start using it, but once you learn where things are, you realize how powerful the system is. Another issue is getting updates that require code changes takes longer than preferred. finally, document version control needs to improve.
