### "Easy website builder with many useful features"

May 16, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Wix has been positive. It is a good platform for creating websites quickly and without technical knowledge. The design tools are easy to understand, and there are many features for business and marketing. It is not perfect for advanced coding or very large websites, but for personal projects or small businesses it works really well.

Pros

What I liked most about Six is how easy it is to use. The drag-and-drop editor is simple, so even beginners can create a good-looking website without coding. I also liked the large number of templates and marketing tools for small businesses.

Cons

What I liked least is that some advanced features are limited unless you pay for a more expensive plan. Sometimes the editor can also be a bit slow or buggy. Customer support is okay, but not always fast.

I wanted something easier to use. Wix is more simple and does not need coding. It is also faster to set up a website.

### "WIX is Alright With Me!"

July 3, 2026

5.0

Nice! Fairly Easy To Get Around! Very happy WIX has live person customer chat when the bot doesn't cut it.

Pros

My experience with WIX overall is good. Today my experience with \[sensitive content hidden\] was exceptional. I manage a site for someone else, and he is always asking for changes to his site, which I did not originally create. \[sensitive content hidden\] assisted me in navigating some issues that needed advanced care the bot was naot able to pinpoint. I have been a customer of WIX for a long time and it's good they are keeping up with the new developments in tech. Thanks WIX!! and of course, \[sensitive content hidden\] !

Cons

Today, my experience was excellent, so no complaints! Generally tho, considering the whole experience for users who are not tech savvy, it's a little tricky to understand the terminalogy about what to call something. Like.... I needed to find an arrow, but it would have helped to have a clearer name for where to find the arrow. It was in the design section, but you would think an arrow was a design feature. Just sayin'

### "Best in the first half, but adds up quickly"

June 12, 2026

Pros

Ease of use to begin with, very intuitive set up and tools that go beyond generic, offering an opportunity to really customize and design your site.

Cons

Endless subscriptions, upsells, add-ons and general paywall being in everything. Absolutely impossible to go beyond generic without having to pay yet another monthly fee. Eventually stops being good value for money.

### "The Absolute Best Way to Bring Websites to Life!"

April 21, 2026

5.0

Building with Wix has been such an awesome experience for me. It’s been a total game-changer to have a platform that gives me full creative freedom without any of the "techy" stress. I love how the results always look high-end and professional. Between the super helpful free plan, the smart AI tools, and the easy drag-and-drop features, it’s made the whole process of getting my businesses online actually fun!

Pros

I am so incredibly happy with Wix! As a designer and entrepreneur, I’m all about the aesthetics, but I’ve never been a "tech person". I’ve used it for my personal portfolio and several startup projects, and the results are always gorgeous. I love that I can just drag and drop elements exactly where I want them, it gives me total creative freedom with no coding! The value you get is just fantastic, especially since they offer a free plan that’s actually useful for testing out new ideas before you go all-in. Their AI tools and marketing features are right there to do the heavy lifting for me. I’m a huge fan of the galleries and the AI Assistants; they make everything look and feel so professional with zero stress. Even the customer support is wonderful, they’re always so encouraging and helpful whenever I have a question. If you’re a fellow creative who wants a beautiful, high-end website without needing to be a programmer, Wix is definitely the best choice out there!

Cons

If I had to pick one thing, it's that because the editor is so packed with features, it can occasionally feel a little bit slow or buggy when you're working on a really detailed page. It’s never been a dealbreaker for me, but a little more snappiness during the building process would make it absolutely perfect.

Switched from

I made the switch from Squarespace primarily because of the value and pricing flexibility. As a startup entrepreneur, I really appreciate that Wix offers a functional free plan.

### "Outstanding platform completely marred by a catastrophic support escalation pipeline"

May 21, 2026

4.0

Historically, it has been a 5/5 product that I highly recommended. However, this current breakdown with technical support engineering—coupled with long ticket wait times while a live site is dark—has severely strained our relationship with a major client. It takes excessive pushing and demanding a live supervisor to get critical bugs flagged for actual attention.

Pros

Up until this week, my experience with Wix has been outstanding. The platform is incredibly intuitive, features excellent ease of use, and has provided solid hosting value for money over the years. Building and launching sites is typically a seamless process.

Cons

The technical escalation pipeline is a total black hole if you encounter a systemic backend bug. We are currently dealing with a critical issue where an automated internal queue has completely frozen our client's site's SSL certificate deployment. Finding out from a supervisor that our high-priority engineering ticket sat completely untouched in a queue for 15 hours while a major client's site remained completely down globally is unacceptable. Frontline chat support is polite, but they lack the tools to fix backend database or network loop errors quickly.

### "Unmatched Design Freedom with a Few Scalability Hurdles"

May 31, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Wix has been highly positive, making it an excellent, reliable platform for small to medium-sized businesses, freelancers, and creatives who need a professional online presence without developer costs. It bridges the gap between complex web development and absolute beginners by offering an unmatched level of visual design freedom. The platform handles all the technical heavy lifting—including secure cloud hosting, automated site backups, and SSL certification—entirely in the background, allowing users to focus entirely on branding, content creation, and business growth.

Pros

What stands out most about Wix is its unmatched balance between user-friendly accessibility and design freedom. As someone without a background in web development or coding, the unstructured drag-and-drop editor feels incredibly intuitive. Unlike other platforms that force content into rigid grids or rows, Wix allows pixel-level placement. You can position text boxes, images, and buttons exactly where you want them, giving you complete creative control over the visual layout.

Cons

While Wix offers incredible flexibility for initial design, its biggest drawback is that you cannot switch your website's template once it is live. If you decide a year down the road that your business needs a completely different layout or structural theme, you cannot simply apply a new template to your existing content. Instead, you are forced to manually rebuild your entire website from scratch on a new theme, which creates massive friction and consumes significant time as your brand scales.

Reason for choosing Wix

While Shopify is an undisputed powerhouse for large-scale retail, I chose Wix because it offers far superior design flexibility and a much better balance for businesses that sell both services and products.

Pros

good, i have sold several wix business systems to my clients. It is easy for them to use and run their business. wix can become very advanced when you utlize their intergrations.

Pros

Pros

March 23, 2026

4.0

It was pretty good up until three nights ago when I started experiencing major challenges, simply trying to connect an external (google) email address. We could not get it connected, even though working with 'help', and in the process managed to mess a few things screwed up. Thankfully with the patient assistance of Claudia, one of their experts, managed to resolve eventually. And with Bond today, hopefully got the last step done - of linking my google email address. Holding thumbs! lol

Pros

The ease with which the system works, once you get to know how it works. Took a bit of a learning curve, but under WIX expert help, eventually won through!

Cons

The learning process to work out how to navigate around the space. At first, did not seem intuitive, and some of the functions which I was let to tarsnpire, did not do as I was led to believe they would. A bit of a steep learning curve

### "Wix Customer Service - Second to none "

February 3, 2026

5.0

Since our first build with Wix around 8 years ago, we have had nothing but an excellent experience building websites for ourselves and our clients. Wix is the best platform for do-it-yourself shops who don't have the benefit of in-house website support, but also has coding features which appeals to those who want to delve into coding for additional customization. With the social media and email marketing integration, it's an all-in-one, all-round great product!

Pros

The customer support is second to none across any digital product or service I have ever purchased. Anytime I've reached out, I've had a successful and pleasant experience!

Cons

The switchover to Studio was a bit clunky for us but we've figured it out now and appreciate the modernization of the features.

### "Thanks to Wix for making my life easier!"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Wix seems to have everything my businesses need. They're relatively affordable for what they offer. I'm sure others have more customization options, but I haven't found something that wix won't accomplish in one way or another. They're my ride or die...

Pros

Product is user friendly, allows my entire catalog of products into the ecommerce database. My business has been using WIX for a long time and wouldn't really try to go anywhere else. They seem to have everything I need. I recently had an issue that i needed customer support to help with. AI chatbot wasn't really able to get to the root of my issue, but connected me to David and helped me get to Majestic in advanced billing, who solved my issues very quickly. Customer support was great once I got past the AI Chatbot. Excellent

Cons

I wish there was a tiered discount for premium subscriptions, where the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th business with premium subcriptions were offered a discount. I know not all users have 3 businesses, but I do and am working on the 4th. It would help the bottom line to have a little love for that.

### "Today I experienced an Excellent Care Team Member for Wix! "

January 14, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been fresh and enlightening. There's still a really great balance between automation, ai, and manual design on the Wix platform. I'd definitely recommend it for everyone.

Pros

I've always liked that this is a user friendly website builder. But most of all I like that when you've exhausted the Ai options, a HUMAN is available. I honestly wouldn't have been able to solve my issue without a human looking physically looking at my site and walking me through the resolution.

Cons

I don't like the Velo app for back end code, it's very limited. I think the entire site code should simply be readily accessible on the settings tab. If you mess it up, you could simply go back in the history of the changes with an arrow, or at the very least just go back and republish the version if the site prior to changing the code.

### "THANK YOU \[sensitive content hidden\] Great customer support today!!"

February 8, 2026

5.0

Frustrating before today. My customer service rep \[sensitive content hidden\] gave me some hope and gave me faith that WIX may just work for me.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\]!!! OMG...thank you so much. It is so frustrating when you are trying to do changes on your website. AI and auto answers are incomplete and/or incorrect. \[sensitive content hidden\] was AMAZING!! Spent the time, explained everything to me on a chat that I could screenshot and find the right places to go. Even came back to check on me to make sure I wouldn't loose the feed. This is the first time EVER, I have been so happy with online support from ANY company! \[sensitive content hidden\] , if I ever have an issue, I will request you again. ### "Best Customer Service!"

April 12, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Wix has been strong. It provides a streamlined, all-in-one platform for website creation, branding, and business management. It has allowed me to launch and manage my projects efficiently, though I’ve noticed some limitations as my needs become more advanced.

Pros

What I liked most about Wix is its user-friendly interface combined with powerful design flexibility. It allows me to create a professional-looking website, manage content, and handle business tools all in one place without needing advanced technical knowledge.

Cons

What I liked least about Wix is that once you choose a template, it’s difficult to switch without rebuilding parts of the site. Also, some settings and features are not always easy to find, which can slow down the workflow.

### "What I love vs. What I don't love about Wix"

January 14, 2026

4.0

Overall, Wix has proven to be great at information display but is not the best when you need to highly customize the product unless you are able to tap into the Velo code. I am still very very frustrated with the elements.

Pros

I love the built in features a lot and the ability to customize elements using Velo code. This has changed the game for me honestly. As long as there is a script I can write, I have a solution.

Cons

My biggest issue with Wix is the elements and how they move positions from the preview mode vs the live mode. I feel there has to be a better way to ensure the elements we add stay in their position.

### "Love the design flexibility and the new Wix Studio, hate the endless clicking for images"

June 11, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Wix has been highly successful in terms of end results, even if the daily workflow can occasionally test my patience. On one side, it has been a brilliant tool for driving genuine growth. By using the classic editor to build a dual-optimised layout for a local aviation museum, I’ve been able to cater to two completely different generations seamlessly. Our older desktop users get a clean, structured interface, while younger mobile users get a fast, intuitive tour layout. Seeing our web traffic climb by 20% this year and our physical event attendance quadruple over three years proves that the platform delivers real-world commercial value. On the development side, beta-building a new project on Wix Studio has shown me that Wix is serious about scaling up. It handles fluid layouts and high-definition breakpoints incredibly well. However, it isn't perfect. The clunky, click-heavy media storage system—which forces you to repeatedly dig through multiple folder layers without remembering your previous location—is a glaring UX oversight that slows down heavy design work. Please please please WIX, put development time into sorting this after all these years. It's from another century. Ultimately, if you can look past the occasional backend frustration, Wix is an incredibly versatile powerhouse. It successfully bridges the gap between simple, layout-driven design and high-end, responsive web development.

Pros

What I value most about Wix is its sheer adaptability depending on the project I’m tackling. I’ve been using two very different sides of the platform lately, and both deliver exactly what I need. For an Aviation Museum website I run, I used the classic Standard editor to solve a tricky audience problem. Our desktop visitors tend to be an older generation who want clean, highly structured layouts, whereas our mobile traffic is dominated by 30-somethings looking for quick tour information. Wix allowed me to easily build two distinct user experiences tailored to those exact age groups without overcomplicating things. It has paid off massively—our web traffic is up 20% this year, and we’ve quadrupled our visitor numbers over the last three years to become the largest heritage event attraction in our region. At the same time, I’ve been beta-building a new project for a music soundtrack website using their new generation WIX STUDIO Fully-Responsive system. Moving from the simple desktop/mobile setup of the standard editor to a fully fluid, multi-resolution layout that scales perfectly up to HD has been brilliant. It bridges the gap perfectly between creative control and hard business results, whether you’re managing a community museum or a sleek commercial build.

Cons

While the frontend results are excellent, the backend file management system is deeply frustrating to work with, particularly when managing a large media library for an aviation museum. To keep the project organised, I’ve set up a highly structured folder system—separating image assets by individual aircraft pages, events, partner logos, and common graphics. The nightmare begins when you actually try to place these elements on a page. The UI/UX forces you to navigate down three levels into your folder structure every single time you open the Media Manager. Worse still, Wix completely fails to remember where you were a few seconds ago. If you are placing multiple images from the same folder onto a page, you have to manually drill down through those exact same three levels of folders time and time again. It doesn’t anchor your last location. When you’re dealing with dozens of technical image placements, this lack of basic continuity turns a simple task into a tedious, time-wasting chore. Once the assets are finally on the canvas, the system is great—but getting them there is a painful, click-heavy experience that desperately needs a workflow overhaul.

### "SOLID Digital Marketing Platform"

March 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Wix is a very positive one. The ability to market my clients' businesses in a single pane of glass is second to none.

Pros

Ease of use, features, and my ability to create solid and meaningful digital marketing platforms for my clients. I have not needed customer support until today, and it was a very good, positive interaction. My team and I love the security aspect of the platform as we have clients who run their businesses and trust the platform with their online stores and event management. We are very confident in the compliance and security that Wix utilizes.

Cons

I have yet to run into any issues, and I do not have any real complaints, nor could I ever say anything bad about the platform or that I dislike anything.

### "A Platform That Thinks With You"

March 27, 2026

5.0

I liked that Wix feels less like software and more like a creative space. Instead of forcing you to adapt to it, it adapts to how you think and build. The experience felt fluid, which made the process surprisingly enjoyable rather than task-oriented. What I appreciated most about Wix was how effortlessly it balances structure and freedom—you’re guided, but never boxed in. That’s a rare combination.

Pros

What stood out to me most about Wix was how it quietly removes the intimidation from building a website. It doesn’t just give you tools; it kind of anticipates what you’re trying to do and smooths the path. I also liked how it lets creativity lead without constantly reminding you of technical limits.

Cons

At times, the platform felt almost too open-ended—without clear boundaries, small design decisions started taking more time than expected.

### "The Best All-In-One Website Builder for Small Businesses"

January 17, 2026

5.0

My experience has been excellent. It’s a true all-in-one platform. I didn’t have to worry about separate hosting or security updates. Whenever I hit a snag, their customer support and help center were very responsive. It offers great value for money because it scales with your business—starting simple and adding "Velo" coding features or advanced e-commerce as you grow.

Pros

Wix is incredibly intuitive. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy for someone without a coding background to build a professional-looking site in hours. I especially love the huge variety of templates and the built-in marketing tools (like SEO Wiz and email marketing) that help grow a business without needing third-party plugins.

Cons

While the freedom of the editor is great, it can occasionally feel overwhelming because there are so many options. Also, once you choose a template, you can't easily switch to a completely different one without re-adding your content, though the flexibility within the chosen template usually makes up for it.

### "Know More About Wix By Contemplating this Filled Survey"

January 13, 2026

4.0

My overall expertise with Wix has been decent - it makes it super easy to create and design highly responsive landing pages, blogs and websites.

Pros

I implemented Wix in 2020 after it was recommended by a friend. How it offers drag-and-drop editor tool during web development is what I like most since I barely need to code.

Cons

All has been well on my end ever since I implemented Wix apart from higher cost of acquiring additional products such ad hosting and domain.

### "WIX is the BEST!"

April 15, 2026

5.0

Great, I have built a solid business from my Wix site. I am able to continue to create new offerings and better ways for my customer to interact with me.

Pros

Customer Service Agents are very helpful. Wix continues to improve their service, enabling me to run a smooth experience for my customers.

Cons

My emails go to spam. I tried to pay for mail chimp, and trying to incorporate the app crashed my site and it was down for over a week before I could get it up and running again. All of this would be prevented if my emails from wix went to the receivers inbox rather than spam.

### "Click after click, Wix is never disappoints! "

June 4, 2026

5.0

Clients often need an easy choice when designing their websites, and they need something reliable as well. This is where WIX comes through and delivers time and time again.

Pros

One of the best things about WIx is that they are always improving. Making websites easier to design and for the audience to enjoy as well.

Cons

There are times when it would be nice to have more design freedom, but for most people they have all the tools they need.
