### "Great startup website "

July 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Wix has been positive. It’s easy to use, simple to update, and offers great tools for creating a professional website. The main downsides are limited customization and higher costs for advanced features.

Pros

Easy to update yourself without needing a web developer. \* Professional-looking templates that worked well for showcasing your catering business. \* Built-in SEO tools to help your business rank on Google. \* Simple integration with tools you use, such as your contact forms and marketing. \* An all-in-one platform with hosting, security, and website management in one place. \* Flexibility to showcase your services, including weddings, corporate catering, private chef dinners, and seasonal offerings. \* Ability to add blog posts and photo galleries to highlight your events and improve search rankings.

Cons

SEO has limits. While Wix has improved a lot, it’s generally not as flexible as a custom WordPress site if you’re trying to dominate competitive local search results like “Denver wedding caterer” or “private chef Colorado.” \* Less design flexibility over time. Once you’ve chosen a template, switching to a different one usually means rebuilding much of the site. \* Can get expensive. Monthly fees increase if you need premium apps, more storage, or advanced marketing features. \* Slower page speeds. Some Wix sites can load more slowly than optimized custom-built sites, which can affect user experience and search rankings. \* App dependence. Some features require third-party apps that add recurring costs or complexity. \* Limited customization. If you ever want highly customized booking systems, catering calculators, or unique integrations, Wix can become restrictive. \* Platform lock-in. You can’t simply export your website and move it to another platform while keeping the same design—you’d largely have to rebuild it.

### "WIX is Alright With Me!"

July 3, 2026

5.0

Nice! Fairly Easy To Get Around! Very happy WIX has live person customer chat when the bot doesn't cut it.

Pros

My experience with WIX overall is good. Today my experience with \[sensitive content hidden\] was exceptional. I manage a site for someone else, and he is always asking for changes to his site, which I did not originally create. \[sensitive content hidden\] assisted me in navigating some issues that needed advanced care the bot was naot able to pinpoint. I have been a customer of WIX for a long time and it's good they are keeping up with the new developments in tech. Thanks WIX!! and of course, \[sensitive content hidden\] !

Cons

Today, my experience was excellent, so no complaints! Generally tho, considering the whole experience for users who are not tech savvy, it's a little tricky to understand the terminalogy about what to call something. Like.... I needed to find an arrow, but it would have helped to have a clearer name for where to find the arrow. It was in the design section, but you would think an arrow was a design feature. Just sayin'

### "Best in the first half, but adds up quickly"

Pros

Ease of use to begin with, very intuitive set up and tools that go beyond generic, offering an opportunity to really customize and design your site.

Cons

### "Easy website builder with many useful features"

May 16, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Wix has been positive. It is a good platform for creating websites quickly and without technical knowledge. The design tools are easy to understand, and there are many features for business and marketing. It is not perfect for advanced coding or very large websites, but for personal projects or small businesses it works really well.

Pros

What I liked most about Six is how easy it is to use. The drag-and-drop editor is simple, so even beginners can create a good-looking website without coding. I also liked the large number of templates and marketing tools for small businesses.

Cons

What I liked least is that some advanced features are limited unless you pay for a more expensive plan. Sometimes the editor can also be a bit slow or buggy. Customer support is okay, but not always fast.

### "Excellent Support During a Difficult Domain Issue"

July 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, I've enjoyed building with Wix and appreciate its features. My recent issue with my domain becoming associated with the wrong account was stressful, but the support I received today was excellent. The representative took the time to understand my situation, escalated my case to the ownership team, documented my requests, and answered all of my questions. I hope the ownership team is able to resolve the issue soon.

Pros

Wix is a powerful platform with excellent design tools and flexibility. The customer support representative I worked with was patient, professional, and stayed with me until my issue was properly escalated. I appreciated that my concerns were documented and that I was given a ticket number for follow-up.

Cons

The process for recovering a domain associated with the wrong account was confusing. The account recovery form appears designed for login issues rather than domain ownership issues, which made it difficult to know the correct steps. It would be helpful to have a dedicated domain ownership recovery process or clearer guidance.

Wix felt like the most complete all-in-one solution.

### "One year Overview "

July 13, 2026

5.0

Overall I’ve been using Wix for 1 year and I do like it. When I’m confused and things are confusing I can ask the AI on my app and it explains everything and gives me step by step. Today I was on the chat with a rep and they walked me through adding my site back to my domain once I had to change the plan package. So I like how they are there to guide and assist.

Pros

It’s very easy to manage and if there’s any confusion someone can assists 24/7. Whether it’s on the app or on the chat on line. Someone is always there to help.!!

Cons

Some things can be confusing but once you ask and they explain it becomes easy. The other thing is with memberships. If the payment doesn’t go through it automatically cancels the subscription. I don’t think it should be that way especially for memberships. Those are commitments therefore if the payment doesn’t go through for a particular month it should continue to try and collect it the following month with the new monthly payment. But not deactivate the membership. Or it should at least try to process the payment twice. And possibly do an additional charge for the payment not going through.

### "Easy to use but limited "

July 2, 2026

4.0

It's overall positive. I had an issue connecting my Google Sheets to make an automation, but it was resolved pretty quickly. The AI guided me through the basic steps, and once it could no longer provide assistance, it connected me to a human right away. So I didn't have an issue with it.

Pros

It's fairly easy to use once you get accustomed to it, and the webpage editor is pretty straightforward, so you won't get lost easily.

Cons

My only issue with Wix is that it lacks more design options for website design. The premade templates are limited, and I found it a bit hard to access their website templates or implement them in my own website.

### "Easy to create, good customer service and value for money"

July 4, 2026

5.0

It is the only platform I use for building websites because I trust it. I know what I am doing with it and I am not a tech geek.

Pros

I use it for various clients and find it easy to use and has great customer support if I need it which has only been once or twice over the years.

Cons

There is not really anything I do not like about wix, may it could offer more designs but I am really happy with them.

### "My Wix Experience as a Non-Profit Artists Group Webmaster"

July 2, 2026

5.0

Overall I am liking Wix. I knew that there was no one in our all-volunteer non-profit art organization who could handle Wordpress, so that is why we switched. Our website contains a lot of material, so it took about 6 months to convert it all - working off and on. I think we are now sustainable.

Pros

Because Wix has been around for years, there is a great deal of help available. I have loved the customer support - the ability to chat with a real person. I came to Wix with no prior experience with Wix. We just moved our domain to Wix and our Google Workspace email system broke. They helped me fix it. Also, I love that I don't have to worry about security, spammers, backups, etc. like I did with Wordpress. I can concentrate on providing content to our artist members.

Cons

I first found Wix's site menu difficult to follow, it was not intuitive to me. My experience was with Wordpress. I had issues with the differences between contacts, subscribers and people who buy subscriptions. The Automations were a bit tricky as well - knowing which ones counted in the monthly email quota. I am getting used to it.

Been With Wix Over 10+ Years and so glad I started early and now partner learning to build a livelihood with Wix.

Pros

Cons

### "FIGHTING CYBERWARS - AND WITH WIX, EVENTUALLY WINNING!"

March 23, 2026

4.0

It was pretty good up until three nights ago when I started experiencing major challenges, simply trying to connect an external (google) email address. We could not get it connected, even though working with 'help', and in the process managed to mess a few things screwed up. Thankfully with the patient assistance of Claudia, one of their experts, managed to resolve eventually. And with Bond today, hopefully got the last step done - of linking my google email address. Holding thumbs! lol

Pros

The ease with which the system works, once you get to know how it works. Took a bit of a learning curve, but under WIX expert help, eventually won through!

Cons

The learning process to work out how to navigate around the space. At first, did not seem intuitive, and some of the functions which I was let to tarsnpire, did not do as I was led to believe they would. A bit of a steep learning curve

### "Wix Customer Service - Second to none "

February 3, 2026

5.0

Since our first build with Wix around 8 years ago, we have had nothing but an excellent experience building websites for ourselves and our clients. Wix is the best platform for do-it-yourself shops who don't have the benefit of in-house website support, but also has coding features which appeals to those who want to delve into coding for additional customization. With the social media and email marketing integration, it's an all-in-one, all-round great product!

Pros

The customer support is second to none across any digital product or service I have ever purchased. Anytime I've reached out, I've had a successful and pleasant experience!

Cons

The switchover to Studio was a bit clunky for us but we've figured it out now and appreciate the modernization of the features.

### "Website building made super easy"

December 3, 2025

4.0

Wix has been pretty straightforward for managing my sites, and I like that most things are easy to figure out without digging through guides. The builder lets you tweak pages quickly, and adding things like forms or extra features is basically plug-and-play. The only thing that gets a bit annoying is the difference between desktop and mobile layouts—sometimes you fix one and the other ends up looking slightly off. Aside from that, it’s been a reliable and easy platform to work with.

Pros

One thing I really like about Wix is how simple the website builder is to use. You don’t need to know any code—you just drag things around until the page looks the way you want, which makes updating my sites way less of a headache. I used to publish most sites with Wordpress but the time it takes to fix an issue with that isn't worth it when you can use Wix and have it sorted in no time! Another big plus is all the built-in apps you can drop onto a page. The forms, for example, are super handy because they send the info straight to whatever email you set, so you don’t have to go hunting for submissions. For managing a couple of personal sites, it’s been quick, convenient, and honestly pretty fun to work with.

Cons

Sometimes, the formatting can be a bit strange when shifting between desktop and mobile view. I've found that I'll finish the site on desktop mode, which looks great, but then the mobile view can so a bit odd and throw things in the wrong place or cut things out of view. It's fixable, but a bit annoying when you're expecting it to work from the get go. It's definitely not enough to put me off using Wix entirely.

### "Good for website creation, struggles for e-commerce "

December 14, 2025

2.0

Pros

The drag and drop system for website design works well. I appreciated the templates; they are well designed. It is easy to get started quickly even if you haven't used Wix before. The price was okay for what was offered.

Cons

The system doesn't make it easy to sell internationally because it doesn't have support for VAT and other international taxes. But it also doesn't have an easy setup to only sell within the US; I can't limit sales based on IP and shipping addresses combined, which makes it difficult to make sure I'm obeying laws everywhere. I want an e-commerce platform that works as a merchant of record collecting and submitting sales taxes for me. I also found that the upload speed was slow and experienced a lot of lag. Their GDPR and California policies are lacking and I have to pay another service to meet all the legal obligations. Customer support was unable to solve my problems.

Overall, my experience with Wix has been strong. It provides a streamlined, all-in-one platform for website creation, branding, and business management. It has allowed me to launch and manage my projects efficiently, though I’ve noticed some limitations as my needs become more advanced.

Pros

What I liked most about Wix is its user-friendly interface combined with powerful design flexibility. It allows me to create a professional-looking website, manage content, and handle business tools all in one place without needing advanced technical knowledge.

Cons

What I liked least about Wix is that once you choose a template, it’s difficult to switch without rebuilding parts of the site. Also, some settings and features are not always easy to find, which can slow down the workflow.

### "Many Options For A Business Website"

June 22, 2026

5.0

I have enjoyed using it and learning just how complex it is with all that is included. I started out just trying to sell digital products, then I decided I might as well open up the members and groups too. I think if people can actually find it that they would enjoy it. I am still learning and might do a few more changes to it. All the options within WIX makes it interesting.

Pros

It is fairly easy to learn how to use it. The customer support is very good. There is some bugs in the transaction of google ads in relation to pausing and starting it back on. The features like embedding video's is great. The fact that you can have members and groups is an added bonus. The price is pretty good and if I can ever get people coming to the site I think my business and marketing will work great. I love that everything works well.

Cons

finding things for instance when I want to go to a certain part like in google ads, it is not always where I thought it was. The search bar should be more specific for finding areas of the site editor because that can really be a problem.

### "Great for getting your business online quickly"

April 10, 2026

4.0

Wix is a powerful tool if your main goal is to get a visually stunning website online without touching a single line of code. It feels less like a technical chore and more like a creative project. The freedom to move any button, image, or text box exactly where you want it is its biggest strength, giving you a level of customization that most other "simple" builders just don't offer. In my experience, the platform shines during the initial setup. The onboarding process is very smooth, and the AI builder (Wix ADI) can actually give you a great starting point if you're staring at a blank screen. It’s also a "one-stop shop"—it handles the hosting, the domain, the security, and even basic marketing tools in one dashboard, which saves a lot of time and mental energy. However, that ease of use comes with a few trade-offs. Because the editor is so flexible, it’s easy to accidentally create a messy layout if you aren't careful, and the mobile version almost always requires extra manual work to look right. It also isn't the fastest platform out there; the more "fancy" features you add, the slower the site can feel to load. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for small business owners, freelancers, or portfolios where look and feel are the priority. It makes the web design process accessible, even if it lacks some of the deep technical control that a developer might want for a massive, high-traffic site.

Pros

Building a website always felt like a daunting task until I actually sat down with Wix. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't force you to be a designer or a coder to get something professional looking online. The drag-and-drop editor is genuinely intuitive; you just move things where you want them, and it stays put. I started with one of their templates—there are hundreds of them—and was able to customize the colors and fonts to match my branding in about an hour. One thing that surprised me was the built-in SEO checklist. It actually walks you through exactly what you need to do to show up on Google, which is a huge relief if you aren't an expert. It’s not perfect, though. One quirk is that once you pick a template and start building, you can't just swap to a completely different one without starting over, so you have to be sure of your choice early on. Also, the mobile view sometimes needs a little manual tweaking after you finish the desktop version to make sure everything lines up correctly. Despite those small learning curves, it’s been a reliable and fairly fun platform to use for getting a business site up and running quickly.

Cons

While Wix is incredibly user-friendly, there are a few specific things that can be a bit frustrating once you start building a more complex site: \* \*\*Template Lock-in:\*\* This is probably the biggest drawback. Once you choose a template and start adding your content, you can't just switch to a completely different template without starting your site over from scratch. You can change colors and fonts, but the underlying structure is fixed. \* \*\*Mobile Editing Workload:\*\* Although Wix creates a mobile version of your site automatically, it’s rarely perfect right away. You often have to spend a significant amount of time in the "Mobile Editor" moving elements around to make sure they don't overlap or look messy on a phone screen. \* \*\*Speed and Performance:\*\* Because the drag-and-drop editor uses a lot of heavy code to give you that much freedom, Wix sites can sometimes load a bit slower than sites built with cleaner code or on platforms like WordPress. This is especially noticeable if you have a lot of high-resolution images or animations. \* \*\*Plan Limitations:\*\* Some of the more basic paid plans still have relatively low storage limits. Also, to get rid of the Wix branding and use your own domain, you have to move into their higher-tier subscriptions, which can get expensive compared to basic hosting. \* \*\*Overwhelming Options:\*\* For a total beginner, the sheer number of buttons, apps, and design features can actually be a bit much. It’s easy to get "choice paralysis" or accidentally mess up the layout because you have the freedom to put an element literally anywhere.

### "SOLID Digital Marketing Platform"

March 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Wix is a very positive one. The ability to market my clients' businesses in a single pane of glass is second to none.

Pros

Ease of use, features, and my ability to create solid and meaningful digital marketing platforms for my clients. I have not needed customer support until today, and it was a very good, positive interaction. My team and I love the security aspect of the platform as we have clients who run their businesses and trust the platform with their online stores and event management. We are very confident in the compliance and security that Wix utilizes.

Cons

I have yet to run into any issues, and I do not have any real complaints, nor could I ever say anything bad about the platform or that I dislike anything.

I liked that Wix feels less like software and more like a creative space. Instead of forcing you to adapt to it, it adapts to how you think and build. The experience felt fluid, which made the process surprisingly enjoyable rather than task-oriented. What I appreciated most about Wix was how effortlessly it balances structure and freedom—you’re guided, but never boxed in. That’s a rare combination.

Pros

What stood out to me most about Wix was how it quietly removes the intimidation from building a website. It doesn’t just give you tools; it kind of anticipates what you’re trying to do and smooths the path. I also liked how it lets creativity lead without constantly reminding you of technical limits.

Cons

At times, the platform felt almost too open-ended—without clear boundaries, small design decisions started taking more time than expected.

### "WIX Support experience"

January 22, 2026

5.0

I started with WIX the summer of 2020. Our relationship has allowed us to maintain our business through the business ups and downs over the past almost six years now. With WIX AI tools our site has taken on a much more polished and sophisticated presentation. As a small business with a seasonal product this has proven a great addition to my ROI.

Pros

The ease with which to complete critical tasks in maintaining and updating my website. Your support staff is very good, well trained, knowledgeable, and respectful.

Cons

The editor is a bit cumbersome. I tend to "train myself" and complete tasks that appear simple and find in work to need additional support from WIX. They are always there to fix imbedded issues and bring things back up to speed quickly.

### "no coding skills needed"

For someone who is not particularly computer-savvy, this program is a remarkably valuable tool to have at their disposal. Its user-friendly design and intuitive interface make it accessible to individuals who may feel intimidated by more complicated software. Rather than requiring extensive technical knowledge, the program gently guides users through each step, making the process straightforward and stress-free. I

Pros

The ease of use with Wix is truly remarkable. Navigating its intuitive interface feels seamless, allowing even those with limited technical experience to make updates and changes to their websites effortlessly. Whenever I need to modify a page, adjust images, or add new content, the process is straightforward and quick, eliminating the frustration often associated with website management. The drag-and-drop functionality makes designing pages feel almost like assembling a digital collage—creative and stress-free.

Cons

Updates can often be confusing, presenting users with new features or changes that are not immediately intuitive. The unfamiliar layout or altered settings may create a sense of uncertainty, making it harder for individuals to find what they need or perform routine tasks as smoothly as before.

### "Very satisfied with WIX since years. Very professional customer support. Value for money investment."

January 21, 2026

5.0

Great experience, and I keep recommanding to anybody I meet who like to open a website. Now, I'm quite semi-expert, and can handle some more complex situation with WIX support to fix identified bugs. I have help WIX to see couple of issues and fix for my site, but also for the general improvement of WIX.

Pros

Great interface with a complete set of services and APP/options. I can really make a fully operational website with Product catalog online, Service booking online, Payment/Billing/Accounting, FAQ, fully sketched with JSON coding, Well positionned with Google and so on. Great customer support, helpful to fix identified bugs which had been always solved. This is value for money invested. Now, it is 6 years I maintaine and improve the webste with success with WIX. Being a real beginning, I felt easy to use, and could set-up all without coding myself. The build-up engine remains impressive for beginners who wants to setup their own website.

Cons

I wish there would be a tool to move my site from WIX Editor to WIX studio automatcally, even for a pay. After all the work done on my website since years, I can't see myself re-doing all from scratch with WIX Studio. Please find a way to get a support to move from Editor to Studio without being obliged to re-do the website.

### "Experience With Wix"

May 16, 2026

5.0

Pros

Customer service and the team that built my website. Each time I called in to wix, with a problem there was always someone to provide help. The website that resulted from our hardwork remains an enduring proof of what can be achieved when individuals decide to work together as a cohesive unit.

Cons

The initial period of getting to know the team. Although it took some time for chemistry among us to form, we eventually found a way to work together and that has been a transformative experience for me personnally and professionally.
