I have a fully paid for premium subscription for my business that relies on a website for income, including email address, domain, email campaign monthly subscriptions etc. Wix disconnected my domain for no reason and after 8 phone calls, I still have not had any contact back from them or a reason why my FULLY PAID FOR SUBSCRIPTION doesn't warrant a reason for WHY!! As a small business owner with staff who depend on consumers having access to a website to book services, this is UNACCEPTABLE! It's been 4 days of my website being down and no explanation, no case file notes, AND NO RESOLVE so far and NO communication from the escalation team either! I have a fully paid for PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION and all you receive are tier one lacky's who say they will escalate it. They are trained to provide empathy and repeat your frustrations yet are not experts that they say they are in the help section, and are totally unable to help. I also put in a separate case for a refund due to lost business over 4 days and my time for 45 mins on the phone for each of my 8 phone calls, and got a reply within 1 DAY saying NO. I haven't even got a reply from the tech department in the 4 days my website has been down, yet the refund department can easily respond within 24 hours!!! I have never in my online business life of 7 years EVER experienced such disgusting POOR service. If I were considering a WIX platform business/website, I would totally TOTALLY look elsewhere...I have not had my website restored thus far. I also informed WIX that I would be reviewing them to this effect and they did not seem to care. So when any of you get this kind of experience, it's important to go to this level and review it as such and also email the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to report a complaint. AI chatbot wasn't really able to get to the root of my issue, but connected me to David and helped me get to Majestic in advanced billing, who solved my issues very quickly. Excellent Cons I wish there was a tiered discount for premium subscriptions, where the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th business with premium subcriptions were offered a discount. All of my clients use Wix, because we cater to small businesses that don't always have the capacity for a retainer. Wix is easy enough that we train our clients on making changes themselves and they really love that! When they mess up, we go in fix it and they're happier! Pros The ability to have full control of placement on the Website. All other hosting services limit you or force you to use spacers to place an image in a certain spot. Wix does not. The drag and drop features are amazing and you really don't have to use a bunch of apps to accomplish a simple Website.
