It’s easy to use, with lots of flexibility to create a unique website without needing coding skills. The templates are beautiful, and adding features like an online store or blog is super straightforward. Whenever I had questions, the support resources were really helpful. Wix made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free! Pros What I love most about Wix is how easy it makes everything. The drag-and-drop builder is super simple, even if you're not techy, and there are so many great templates to choose from! Plus, the app options let you add features like online stores or bookings in just a few clicks. It's quick, flexible, and lets you design a website that looks amazing without any hassle. Cons The only downside with Wix is that once you choose a template, you’re pretty much locked into it unless you want to start from scratch. November 18, 2025 5.0 Big fan, easy and not too expensive. The website is not fully equipped yet, but I'm optimistic about the final result, especially with all the extra tools. Pros I was doubtful about the ease of use, but the help articles and prefilled templates save you TONS of time. But what I was really surprised about was the quality of the customer service. Next to a detailed knowledge base and AI help, the people helping you when you really get stuck are REALLY helpful and clear. Cons I immediately started creating a website without consulting any help. This was not the smartest move, since I had to reconnect my domain afterward. I really advise to start from a template you like too. The build-from-scratch is not really helpfull in creating stunning websites in 5 minutes, but revamping or altering an existing design is. I no longer wanted to perform IT duties and wanted a website platform for my business that wouldn’t consume significant time to maintain and manage content. It ended up taking me almost 6 months of web development to launch my site due to Wix’s unavailable mass import for products (they have the feature now and it’s great). I had to do a lot of custom coding on the backend to make my website function for my particular product set because of limited tools and resources at the time. While Wix has been a fairly stable platform that requires little upkeep, the developers do often make changes that affect the websites function without any prior warning or documentation on resolution. For a while, I had to check my website functionality daily, just to make sure they hadn’t made changes that prevented website users from searching for and purchasing my custom goods. The past couple of years (2023-2024) have been somewhat better in terms of changes that significantly impact the website’s function. Overall, I am happy with the platform, but if I hadn’t been an IT professional, Wix (or any other platform) would not have worked for my particular product set. If you have products with few product options, Wix would be great. My unique products often have 100’s of different configurations for a single product with well over 3 million product SKU’s. These simple, easy to use, website hosting platforms are not designed to support this type of product set, but I refused to go back into IT just for my website and knew that in the long run, it was best to have a hosted solution, like Wix. Pros The point and click editor was an initial draw to Wix. Wix was also the only platform that would allow me to have the custom product options that my products require. Cons The developers constantly change things without providing any documentation and frequently kill features that destroy your websites useability, design, and layout. Support (although 24x7 priority support) is virtually nonexistent. They answer the phone, but I don’t think they have ever actually resolved anything. Its media manager is intuitive and offers many ready-made options. The designer for events listing is clear and concise, and provides audiences with an easy-to-read and quick shopping experience. Cons My least favorite thing about Wix is that to look up answers to questions can be a long and roundabout process. Their help function is less helpful than Googling. The AI assisted designs made it simple and near effortless to get my website up and running Cons The only negative i had was using the social media marketing tools. Unless I subscribed to a premium tier I would need to log in everyday to post ads to my businesses Facebook page. Pros The clean and bright interface along with intuitive, sectioned-off design that lets you quickly prototype sites for various different purposes such art hosting portfolios or a blog site. There are also strictly finance-based sites like online stores. Cons Not much to dislike, aside from getting used to it if you started on other software, it stacks up to contemporaries like Adobe's XD application for example. The system allows for easy and complex building throughout the platform. Customer service is always there to help at the click of a button and goes out of their way to ensure problems are solved. This is a great platform to build your business. Cons I believe the Ecommerce platform needs some work to be at the level of competitors. This is the only thing that I believe is holding WIX from being the most dominate in the market. Companies like WordPress has some major issues going on at the moment (though I understand there will be some changes), I doubt WooCommerce is going to be able to compete with Shopify in the future. Other than the small issue i had with the block, everything was great. I would recommend Wix for most people, especially store owners. Pros I liked the many templates available to choose from, all of which looked great and were easy to set up. The AI designer tool was also really good though i didn't use it for my final design. Cons One thing was not customizable to my client's liking without the use of code (viewing more than 4 horizontally scrolling products block at once), they may have changed this since i used wix though. The interface for putting code blocks in you website are kind of limiting too. I love building sites in WIX and now that I am familiar with the platform I can quickly and easily build new sites or edit existing ones. Pros I personally love WIX. I've used it to build several sites (many with booking software integrations) and the sites always work wonderfully. I love that I can easily make edits and I can duplicate my existing sites so I don't always have to start from scratch. Cons Some items can be a little buggy at times, but it's never been a huge issue and I've been using WIX for over 6 years now.
