It had different pricing options which I also liked. Pros Wix was pretty easy to use, speaking as someone who has never built a website before. The tools were simple enough to allow me to create a lovely website for my LLC. I liked that it integrated with Google workspace and allowed me to create my first business email account and link it with the site. I also liked that it has the option to preview your site in a desktop view and mobile view. Cons I didn't like that there were a few things that weren't as intuitive as the rest of the building features, so I had to figure out some aspects of how the website would look by trial and error. I like all the new add-on features too. It's a good "all-in-one-place" kind of service. Pros It's simple to use, and the customer support is great. The new features are always really cool and are great tools for a multi-functioning site. The templates are always really nice and easy to use as well. Cons The prices. Compared to other site builders, Wix is more on the expensive side. Especially if you have several sites. Really helpful for managing ticketing. When we have events for 500+ the scan ticket feature is really handy for getting people in quickly (I can get the team to download on their phone/ ipad etc Pros It's easy to make small changes, add events (with tickets- all integrated with stripe). I didn't have any formal training on the product but have easily been able to work my way around the websites. Cons Support online- not having a number to call, it can be frustrating talking to a bot when sometimes a really quick call to a real person would have the problem sorted quickly. I already reccomended Wix to several people and will continue to do so in the future. Pros There are tons of features, taht make you website esier to manage and use, from the admin and visitor POV. The business and marketin tools are easy to navigate and setup and are reliabe. You can customise already made pages, but also build your own from scratch. Also the customer service is more than willing to help with any issue. Cons No in depth personalisation with sertain plugins or page parts, but it´s understandable that there would have to be more technical challenges for the Wix and for the users. Cons I really have not had an issue with Wix and have maintained my site for 4 years. It's affordable and gets the job done. Pros Wix lets you get down to the details when managing a website. It is relatively easy to use and fairly affordable compared to other options. Cons Wix is a bit less user friendly and offers less aesthetically pleasing options than other apps I've experienced. I have encountered a few bugs but nothing that's a deal breaker. Pros Wix was easy to use to create my business website. The AI assisted designs made it simple and near effortless to get my website up and running Cons The only negative i had was using the social media marketing tools. Unless I subscribed to a premium tier I would need to log in everyday to post ads to my businesses Facebook page. Pros I enjoyed using wi because it provides you with all of the useful tools to help you create your website, they have all of the latest up to date information that is required to build and host a successful website. Their latest add on Hopp is the best it helps guide a person through step by step on how to add and build your bio page that can be liked to your new website and domain and all of your social media accounts adding more traffic to the website. It's very easy to use, you don't need to have alot of skills, following their step by step instructions on their semi pre built templates is easy all one has to do is edit and customize it to your own preferences. There customerr support team is always very helpful and pleasant and always willing to help. Cons The only con that I have or what I least liked was the membership fees, it's an amazing platform but a bit over priced for a membership if the cost could be cut down a little it would get alot more traffic as some people can not always get the membership fees ready. Cons = search & email plans" January 20, 2025 4.0 Overall it was great for launching my business. Easy to use/learn it's editor x design tool.savvyspender.ie has got to the mature stage. To get to the next level I think a customized WordPress site will be the way to go Pros As someone who started off as non-technical, it is fairly easy to use no/low code website builder. I've built SavvySpender.ie on wix and have turned into 100k visitors per year website (pretty good given size of Ireland). It offers plenty of customization options. Cons While it's great for creating glossy e-commerce websites. There are a few glaring downsides in my opinion. It's native search functionality is poor. So if you're building a website with a lot of content this can be a let down. While other providers have integratations with likes of algolia, wix doesn't yet have. Their email plan options are a rip off they've got an option that allows you 5k emails per month with the next tier being 1 million and costing about €50 per month. As business that would want to spend 50K per month I am forced to pay for the higher tier. Objectively speaking, though the navigation is simple, but confusing for a first timer. Once you progress any further, it's getting more comprehensible, improving in a professional way of managing the personally customized website. Pros The first part, once I first used Wix.com, it was slightly bland. I returned back for more exploration. To my surprise, it was engaging to use. Despite complexity to create a very flexible responsive personal website, it test your creativity and its style. It was worth it, in my view. Cons Besides the complexity of creating the website, which is fine, as to test your creativity and professionalism, the manual instructions seem lacking. I did follow it, but it's short and quite vague. I managed to follow successfully, even though this is the perspective for a first timer, it makes sense, it took lots of time, but at least makes the instructions simple and detailed.
