I would recommend them to anyone developing a site. Pros Easy to create a website and supporting Web infrastructure. Doman name registration is a snap; email implementation was not terrible. Cons The linkage to Gmail is not as easy as it could be; calendar integration was not simple. It, like most website platforms, are tough to learn but once you learn how to do it, it is easy to use. It was also really limited to updating pages and almost no other apps could integrate with it it. Pros It's so easy to customize, especially if you don't have a big design background and get overwhelmed with techy stuff Cons The only thing I don't like about wix is the lack of ability to display the checkout options. I've seen pages where the full checkout process is on the same screen as the product which isnt the case with wix. The backend system is simple enough for anyone to pick up and work with but not so simple that it has an excessive number of restrictions. Domain integrations and theme design changes have never been easier! Pros The system is very user-friendly, the designs on offer are clean, professional and top standard for base templates, interactions are a breeze and its capabilities I am yet to reach the end of it. Cons Websites can render very slowly regardless of if a lot of information is on them, and it prompts to buy a higher plan even if you're already signed up to a plan. Cons It can be very expensive, especially if you want to host a website with a lot of traffic, although it has some tools that facilitate the creation of websites, these can be very expensive. It reduces expense for a small company just trying to test there product/services out in the real world. Its a great tool to dive deep in to the technical side of business through online means. Pros I love the idea of how you can create your own website with templates already available and ready to use. With just few adjustments a whole new website is ready to use. I love the User Interface for this website that even a non technical person can easily navigate and make a website. Cons If you are someone who is a tech savvy guy and is looking for easy way out, It does not give you full control of everything. For example SEO tools feel pretty limited if you’re trying to really grow traffic. Mobile design doesn’t auto-adjust well either you have manually adjust everything. They satisfy my needs for the moment, and they are still within budget. I've found that Wix has more features than the website builder I previously used, too. Cons Wix's pricing is on the higher end in comparison to other website builders on the market. However, as the years passed, Weebly went downhill. They didn't seem to be able to keep up with the times in terms of features they offered. There are many theme pages to choose from and I love that there's an app and a way to connect with customers on the go. The chat feature has come in handy many times. I appreciate having my previous website and theme pages saved so that I can go back to them at anytime. I will continue to recommend and use Wix. Pros Wix has been amazing for me. I've created websites and theme pages. I have also used the app to connect with customers, create marketing campaigns, and book appointments. I have never had an issue with using Wix. Cons I honestly can't think of any cons. I really like Wix.
