November 14, 2024 3.0 Good, I did go to a different provider as I couldn't get the templates to accurately reflect my vision. I am not tech savvy nor coder so this may be easier for someone else. Integrations were good and wish my new service had these. Pros Easy to use- there were lots of templates. Lots of built in features which made setting email up, seo, social media integration easier. Cons Price was higher than their competitors, to change things I had to almost restart which made life alot harder than it should have been. The interface is cleaner, offers more customizability, and overall responsiveness in complex web designs. The improvements in AI use has also helped to support further customizability with website designs. Collaborating is straightforward. An alternative with a purple font logo is very good if you have the time and experience, but Wix wins for ease, by FAR. Pros It's VERY easy to set up initially, and to connect important 3rd party integrations. Cons It's expensive, and much like a main competitor with a green logo, every little add-on costs extra. Most of the time, it's enough to drag and drop content or configure something to make it visually appealing without worrying about code. However, it also has many options for customizing the site so it doesn't become a closed system that can't be modified. Additionally, it allows you to see the results of your work immediately as you can preview and publish the sites instantly without needing to upload your site to an external server. Pros I think it is one of the best platforms for creating web pages, has a friendly interface with the user and the best thing is that thanks to its design is easy to design a website, even without programming skills, as its platform allows you to design and organize all the content easily, as if that were not enough its visual integrations such as effects or embedded videos are quite visually appealing. Cons Although it has enough default content, more could be added, since for example the default sections that one can use to design your website are somewhat limited, which complicates the variety in the design when you want to create several pages for the website or you want to create a landing page or presentation of the site that is innovative.
