What I liked about it was the easy creation of the website. However, creating a carousel and the different formats (phone/computer/tablet) was not easy to configure, and I had a web developer working with me on that. Pros Is easy to use, efficient... you can create easily an quick a new website. Additionally it has a lot of integration with plug-ins and tools. Cons I think its strenght is not in e-commerce, i think they could more capabilities for e-commerce (i.e. shoppify is the king in e-commerce). Also WIX is not the cheapest, but I think Wix have a lot of advantages. Pros I like that I can create multiple web pages. I can customize the pages in multiple different ways by using the templates provided. Cons There are some bugs in their AI website creation feature such as: -The ai limited to only the initial prompt description -limited customization features The pricing structure is confusing, for example wix offers a yearly or monthly subscription with one year free domain. When you pay for the yearly price they still charge monthly for the hosting but their pricing model implies that when you pay the annual subscription price, it also includes the hosting. They need to make it clearer for consumers. I also don’t like that you can’t create custom logos and designs within Wix and can’t link sites like Canva to Wix in order to achieve that.
