Cons When building a website using Wix, the free option places a watermark in the URL. If you pay for the site you can grab your own personal URL. They are always very helpful and friendly. They are updating the platform based on feedback constantly and I appreciate the forward thinking. Pros I love Wix easy to build platform and they have the best customer service! Cons The only thing I would improve upon is that you can't duplicate pricing plans when building subscriptions. They are doing entirely too much. Keep it simple. Cons Trying to design on weaker machines really throttles the speed, though this isn't something that can really be helped. I am in the process of starting a baking business and went straight to Wix to create my website. It was easy for me to use and navigate through and now my website is all set for when I start up. Pros It allows you to easily customize a website for your business and the finished product looks very professional. My one page website is awesome and modern looking. I even put some drone footage in there that plays right when the site is opened... impressed myself. Cons The ads on the free plan would definitely be a con, but I understand without this they wouldn't make any money.
