It's easy to build out new pages and achieve the structural results that make the most sense for your project. It's fairly easy to share administrative access. There are a lot of helpful hints and directions in the system that make it easy to use. Cons The mobile responsiveness features don't always adapt content like I think they would which sometimes seems to complicate the design of the website. The content management capability and simplicity is what got my marketing and customer team on board and to adopt this as our primary web tool. Cons It took a minute to figure out the add-on features, where they were and how to use them. Reason for choosing Wix We could do it without being tech savvy or having to pay everytime we made a change. El Servicio al Cliente es muy irresponsable, cuando hablé del tema de que WIX no indexaba el sitio, me respondió el asesor que contratra a algun programador para convertirlo a XML. Es decir, pro si solo no funciona correctamente. Aún no me responde el Servicio al clieente sobre estos problemas. Pros lo pasamos a WIX, por la necesidad de tener buena traducción de idiomas. Pero el daño que hace WIX en todos los demás aspectos, es muy grave, porque la página no sirve para vender y no permite que se indixe en Google. Desaforunadamente, no revisé antes las advertencias de programadores al repecto de WIX. Cons 1- El mas grave es que Google no puede contabilizar correctamente, las estadísticas de visitas al sitio y no indexa ninguna de las paginas. 2- El segundo tema grave para la empresa, es que no permite reservar directamente, ni permite que el Booking Software se adicione a cada tour, porque no se puede anexar al html. Reason for choosing Wix Por los idiomas, no revisé que tuviera problemas de indexacion en Google, lo caules gravisimo y no sabía todo o demas acerca de no ser apto para el Turismo, no lo advierten y deberáain devolver el dinero por engaño. I receive many compliments on my site and I love how many options I have for layouts, forms, automations and members. Customer service is also outstanding, I'm very impressed! Cons Would love to be able to sync with more than one calendar. The wix mobile app locks up and crashes while replying to emails. would love to be able to get submissions tables updates emailed regularly so i don't have to run and download csv reports daily. I've been working on a host of problems for 8 hours now and finally resolved 80 percent of them. The other two the staff are looking into and will get back to me. Cons I have a hard time waiting for what seems like dial up speeds while editing. It is table flipping, laptop yeetingly frustrating. Also its not 100% intuitive. I have been trying to get the offshoots of various website links to match my "brand" just in terms of font and its been a nightmare so far. Reason for choosing Wix My boss uses them. Pros The website is easy to set up and gives lots of design options Cons They changed the email marketing price-line. In the past I could send out 3 campaigns / month - everything was in my premium plan.Trying to send out a campaign today - the first in 2023 - I had to buy a plan for 10$/ month to send 500 emails, which is less than I have subscribers. and so I also can send only one email/month....If I want to send more , I now have to pay $24/month (Actually more if I don't buy for 1 year). I find this to be very greedy.To be able to have my old campaign plan with 3 emails / month I should have bought and ascend plan.... which they now are not connected to anymore.... I have not gotten an email that would have explained this change to me and now I am stuck with this new plan ....Like it or not ..... For big business it might not be a big deal as they send many - but for us small ones , those who don't sell mass produces stuff and just follow up with collectors a couple of time / year this it is expensive .... " August 23, 2023 4.0 Great software, easy for beginners to use. Great for learning to make a website. Yet don't expect customer service to help at all. Pros I was able to go from having no website design skills, to designing what I consider a professional looking website in no times. Most problems encountered were easy to overcome just looking around the intuitive software. So from my use I give the entire software high scores. Cons Wix has some of the worst customer service in the world. They advertise for anyone, and yes the software is, but with that said, their customer service doesn't have a clue. 2 examples are, i called once as I was indexing my website on bing, to find out why I was getting a multiple H1 Headings message. Multiple reps had no idea what an H1 even was. After I did a bit of research it was simply the Heading 1 text on each page. Another dumbfounding situation was talking to 3 wix employees asking them a question about my blog page, they kept trying to look at regular webpages, having no clue that blog pages were in a different section of their web design. One of which was a manager. I probably could spend a little more time figuring out what's available in the platform. Pros I love that Wix makes getting a site up and running easy. I don't have to worry about the site crashing or not having direct access to jump in and change things when needed. As a small business owner, things are always changing so It's important to be able to pivot quickly. I also love sending the e-mails out of the same program. Makes life easier. Cons Some of the templates and structure to get things formatted correctly can be a struggle at times but I get there eventually. I'm not a skilled designer so this might be part of my problem. The other is the extra fees for everything. Want to send out more e-mails, that's a fee, want to set up g-mail in the program, that's a fee. And the price increasing every year when they are giving out 50% discounts. But, as a business owner, I get why. No big. I'm still here and happy to pay the fee. Pros The tool is relatively easy to use, as you start building your website using the features that Wix provides you also start to get used to how they work.It is very easy to build up a simple and good-looking website, you also get a few templates that can be used as a starting point.The website management side is absolutely awesome, you can very easily manage new form submissions, questions, live chat.Analytics is another important piece, and you can easily access the information of your website visitors, even in real time.Wix provides a native iOS/Android app that helps you with keeping track of all the website information, so you don't necessarily need to be in front of your computer to see and respond your customers.Support is quick and helpful, the attendants do their best to answer questions, even the ones outside their scope of work, I felt like they really cared about resolving my issues. Cons While Wix is easy to use, and perfect for beginners, more experienced website developers might find it limiting.Wix is not like a blank canvas, you must keep their constraints and limitations in mind to prevent possible frustrations.There is no place to edit the element's CSS code (at least on the basic plan), you have to use their user interface to implement changes and adjustments to the elements, if there isn't a specific settings to change a property, forget it, you won't be able to change it.The asset library is limited, I couldn't find many images that could be used in a professional looking website, instead I had to look for better images on stock photo websites. Pros The thing I like most about Wix.com is how easy, professional, and affordable they make getting a website for your personal oluse or business. I have a wix.com business site and people constantly comment on how nice and modern my site looks and how easy it is to navigate. I know it said what do I like MOST about Wix.com but it's hard to pick just one thing. Cons I guess if I have to pick something it's the fact that I can't create a custom web address without paying for it. If you want to create multiple pages to share photos and give clients the ability to download them and share with their business partners and it doesn't look professional without a custom web address. Also, godaddy made my email inaccessible because I canceled other products I had with them so because I only renewed my website and email address and canceled my business phone and SEO, they made it so my email wasn't about to receive new emails and they never told me so I had to wait 1.5 months to find out on my own. It was horrible. E' FRUSTRANTE, SITO WEB IN CRASH, NESSUN SUPPORTO, PACCHETTO PRO PAGATO PER NULLA" April 3, 2024 1.0 Avevo già il sito web (decente dal 2020, basico ma funzionante come vetrina), a novembre 2023 pago l'abbonamento per inserire Wix Hotel e gestire le prenotazioni dirette e delle OTA. Mi propongono la versione Beta di Wix Hotel in quanto la vecchia versione la stavano eliminando. E da qui inizia il mio calvario... 5 mesi per riuscire a impostare tutto, devi parlare soltanto tramite email e con il team americano. In Italia e in italiano nessuno sa nulla. Problemi continui, assistenza inesistente e inutile perché l'agenzia che gestisce il canale di prenotazione non è Wix (ma HotelRunner ed è appunto con sede in California). Non c'è un numero telefonico per assistenza, se hai un problema ti rispondono con ritardo rispetto alla tua urgenza (tramite email). Chiedi di parlare telefonicamente con il Team tecnico che vanta di risolvere i problemi, ma sembrano intoccabili, non puoi interagire con loro, assurdo. Ho pagato cose che non dovevo pagare (secondo i geni dell'assistenza che sanno meno di te e ti devono propinare pacchetti e app per spillare soldi), ho pagato più di quanto fosse effettivamente necessario per non avere il servizio che ho pagato e impostato io, con il mio lavoro e con le difficoltà di un sistema fatto male. Al telefono mi avevano promesso un rimborso/sconto su quello che stavo pagando dopo i disagi che ho avuto, mai ricevuto, anzi mi dicono che non è possibile, perché non parli con la stessa persona che te lo ha assicurato. Rifletterò se fare causa per i danni lavorativi ed economici arrecati alla mia attività. Vi dovreste vergognare, scollegherò tutto in breve tempo, con tutti i problemi che avrò a causa vostra. Without paying there was no user engagement. Pros But I like the most about using wix. Was the fast features of user engagement being able to create an entire website where people can log in using Facebook without doing anything other than pressing published is one of the best features! Cons It's pretty expensive but if you did get it for free or if you did own it, it would be amazing to create a website because it has so much versatility.
