We also LOVE the language translation feature. This has been a boon as we grew our business in other countries and needed to communicate in different languages. Cons Web builders like Wix, Squarespace, etc. often sell with the promise of an easy-to-use, DIY website builder. At the beginning, that was true. Now, however, many of our customers are paying us to build and manage their sites because as the service grew more robust, with more features, our customers couldn't keep up. I would love to see the company stay focused on ease-of-use as they add more features. Easy learning curve: I'm tempted to say that Wix have no, or a straight (linear) learning curve as one can get started immediately after creating an account on Wix. This was amazing for me. 5. By this I never had to bother about how to make my website responsive for visitors who are using mobile devices to access it. However, for the less experienced users of my church who update the website, it has been great. Therefore, if "non-tech-savvy" people will be maintaining the site, WIX is a good choice. Pros My church uses WIX for their website and did before I started helping them with it. The WIX backend is easy to use and anyone with very minimal experience can alter the design of the website. This makes it a good choice for inexperienced users and/or for static websites. If you're not going to make updates regularly or inexperienced users will be updating the website, WIX is a good choice. Cons Being someone who is experienced in web design and development, using a Drag and Drop interface to build a website feels inefficient. In addition, it's easy to create a website that's asymmetrical or with inconsistent fonts, font size, or improper use of headings.
